Two years went by so fast that it felt like yesterday that I have started in this tunnel. I looked down the endless dark tunnel. Now, I'm twelve years old when things went down and how I ended up chained up.
...
I put my hand behind my head as I rested on the bed. "Last time, I have seen the outside world was the death of my village. I'd wish to be out in the real world to see new people and villages once more. I'd wonder if anyone gave a proper grave to the village." I can't help to wonder how my life turned upside down.
...
After a long lesson on medical ninjutsu and to consider that I have managed to catch up to Kabuto, in which, he was really impressed. I learned how to create a new jutsu that he doesn't know about.
...
I've decided to walk the tunnels, thinking to myself as I say out loud. "I'll perfect my new ability soon. I don't have to worry, I'll be out just by next year. Even my biggest achievement that I made Kabuto trust me." I smirk as I looked down to find a little rock. I have started to kick it by each step I made until I lost interest in the rock. I stop to think about what Kabuto said earlier today. 'Una, listen closely. Today, you will be working with dead bodies.'
I looked up to the endless tunnel, thinking about my village. "Yeah, I am so excited to work with corpses, like my grandma and the other people I once knew was not traumatized. I am not happy to be working with corpses, to be honest, I don't know how I will react towards one." I cross my arms because I felt the emptiness within my heart. I walked a little more to hear someone talking behind a door that was in front of me.
I was puzzled at first it sounds like Orochimaru and Kabuto. I headed towards the door without making that much sound. I put my ear against the wooden door. It was Orochimaru and Kabuto voices, it sounded like they were talking. I hid my chakra from them just in case.
"Kabuto, in four days is the Chunin exam. We have to get him, no matter what." It was Orochimaru voice.
"What happens if it does not go as planned?" Kabuto asked him.
"I will try again," Orochimaru said in a bitter tone.
"Yes, Lord Orochimaru," Kabuto said. Orochimaru says his final line. "I want Sasuke Uchiha no matter what happens!" He sounded hostile towards Kabuto.
I backed away from the door without saying anything as I run far away down the hallway. Once I stop to catch my breath, I turn around as I acted as nothing has happened. I noticed that Kabuto was leaving the room.
I walk over to him. He looks my way as he walks up to me. "You shouldn't be walking over to this area." I acted like I cared for once and placed my both hands on my hip. "You should know. Today, you said to me, you'll be teaching me about the dead or did you forget Sensei?"
He looks at the ground and pushing his glasses, looking back at me. "No, I did not forget, let's go." Kabuto walked passed me.
I turned around to look at him as I said to him. "Thank you." Then it hit me, I cried in my thoughts. 'Oh, God, why did I just say that to him. Also, the thought of me seeing a corpse.'
"Hurry, we don't have all day." He says as I looked at him looking at me. I went up to him as we walked together until a light that got my attention at the end of the tunnel. 'Could be it, the outside world?' We walk a little closer and no it was not the outside world, but a morgue that has a lamp on the side of the door.
Kabuto opens the door. I start our lesson.
...
Hours later, I learn the cause of death. I felt bad for him, he probably fought Orochimaru. "Una, I'm going to leave. You don't leave until I come back."
"Yes, Sensei." I turn to him as he opens the door and close the door.
It was time for me to use this new jutsu that I am creating. I wanted to see if I could break the bones turning it to dust. My hands glowed bloody red breaking the rib cage of the corpse's chest. Kabuto wouldn't notice the difference in this body.
...
By the time Kabuto comes back, I was finished. "Una, you are done for today." He says.
I headed towards him. "Sensei, this wasn't as bad as I thought it would be."
"Go back to your bedroom and sleep. It's getting late." Kabuto looks very annoyed.
I bow a little as I walk back to my room. Once in my room, I have gotten the blue book that I left under the bed. I went to the desk and started to write, especially regarding what I heard from Orochimaru.
'He has been talking about the boy named Sasuke Uchiha. I wonder what Orochimaru wants Sasuke for? If I get to meet him, he is going to be my first friend in a long while, but I don't think Orochimaru would not like that. I'll know if he gets here. I'll tell him to keep it a secret. Maybe I'll help him escape. Hopefully, Orochimaru doesn't kill his whole village as he did to mine. I wonder about him or he could be an old person and he kills.'
I close my diary, "This is weird. What does he want him for?" I got up to put my diary underneath the bed. I went back to the sat to read the other books that were on top of my desk. Soon, I fell asleep on top of the book.
...
I woke up when Kabuto yells at me. "Una, we have to talk. Come with me!" I had no other choice to go with him, we walk all the way to Orochimaru's main room. Kabuto didn't even allow me to use the bathroom first.
"There you are, Una. I've seen you are doing well for these past two years." Orochimaru is seated on a chair that is fit for a king. How my blood boils just by standing in front of him. I want to use my new jutsu and destroy his ugly face, but I put that aside to show no emotion. I bow to let him know I respect him, but in reality, how much I hate him inside of my thoughts and heart.
"I summon you here today, to let you know that Kabuto and I will be gone for this month and the next. We will be back at the beginning of the third month." I have no word to say. In fact, I wanted to be alone for a long while. I was jumping for joy from the inside. "Unfortunately, you are left behind. I have someone to keep watch over you. Una, you have to be good towards her."
I bow again as I walked to the door. Kabuto walked me back to my room saying nothing of what Orochimaru said to me. When he left, I went to the bathroom. I found something very interesting a letter that happens to appear underneath the door. I pick it up, it said. 'To Una.'
It was not sealed it was open, I took out the piece of paper that was flooded. I began to read.
'Hello, Una. I have been watching you for a long time, I have seen what you can do. I have witnessed your training. I have heard that you tried your hardest to keep alive through the trials. I wish I could have stopped him, but you must listen, Una. You must escape this year or I will never see you again. Love by your family member.'
I was taken back on what I was reading. "Who brought it here?" I hid the letter under my shirt as I left the bathroom to go to my bedroom. Once inside, I jumped on my bed. I took out the paper and read it once more. "I wonder who it's from, how they know? What family member?" I place in my journal and put back my diary underneath the bed. I was left with questions than answers.
I walk over to the desk to find a red rose on top of the desk. I felt creep out. "It's probably Kabuto trying to confess his dying love for me." The thought of that made me shiver. I picked up the red rose and smelled it. "It smells nice. I miss having flowers around. Maybe, I should return it to Kabuto let him know that I do not feel the same for him."
Kabuto happens to walk in. I turn around to face him with the red rose in my hand. "Una..." Kabuto looks shocked and says. "Where did you get that rose from, explain now!" He looks very upset the way he raised his voice.
I look at the rose. "I went to the bathroom and came back, it was already here, Sensei."
He pushes his glasses. "I'll let Orochimaru know."
"Wait, Sensei, I don't understand, you and Orochimaru are the only ones that know I am staying here, how can anyone else know?"
Kabuto holds the doorknob totally ignoring my question. "Una, one more thing. We are leaving today. Karin is going to take care of you. You can do any type of lesson you want while I'm gone temporarily." Kabuto walks out closing the door behind him.
