I DON'T OWN DANNY PHANTOM OR TMNT

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

"Any sign of the Kraang?" Leonardo asked, scanning the city within his line of sight for their enemies.

"Nothing." Raphael responded.

"Why doesn't the ghost have to do this?" Michelangelo asked, his head hanging over the building's edge in boredom.

"We don't even know what happened to him after rescuing April a few weeks ago. For as far as we know, he could have gone wherever ghosts go when they stop holding their forms." Donatello reasoned.

Almost on cue, a voice drifted on from someone turning on a TV beneath their feet. "Is the paranormal becoming the new normal? We have a few videos that may surprise you." The turtles, unable to resist what the newscaster was revealing, jumped on the fire escape to watch the television set. On the screen was a glowing green blob fighting against a glowing white figure. While the film quality wouldn't convince anyone of ghosts by itself, it was enough to show the mutants that their ally was still, for lack of a better term, alive. They were surprised when they saw the ghost pull something from behind his back, that then released a light that pulled the green blob into a metal device. After storing the device, the ghost disappeared and the news reporter came back onscreen.

"This video has given police an idea of who or what has intervened in crimes. Such as this one." A different video came up. This one was viewing a gas station in black & white with better quality than the previous video. A hole was smashed into the door, which two thieves used to enter than separated. Both armed with small guns. One went for the cash register while the other went into the other room. It wasn't long before something sent the second thief flying back into the other room. He got up and started firing at something off-camera. He kept firing until no more flashes appeared. After a moment of confusion at the second thief's actions, the first thief went back to unloading the register. Once the bullets stop coming, the crowbar the first crook used to break the register started floating in mid-air. The second thief pointed behind the desk in a way that illustrated the warning, even without sound, earning a dismissive head shaking from the first. After his partner went down, the remaining thief tried to run through the door. But he was pulled off the ground and sent flying into the far wall, only this time, he was knocked out cold. "As of now, its unknown if the ghost boy, also known as Inviso-bill, is a force for good or evil, but is considered very dangerous. Until next time, this is Carlos Chiang O'Brien Gambe."

"I can't believe it!" Mikey yelled, gaining the attention of the house owner. But, by the time the owner turned around, the turtles were already back on the roof. Once they were out of sight, Mikey repeated himself.

"What? The ghost fighting ordinary thieves?" Leo questioned.

"That he has a way to capture other ghosts?" Donnie asked.

"No. What kind of name is 'inviso-bill'? I could come up with a much better name." Raph took that chance to hit Mikey upside the head.

"Should we go look for him?" Donnie asked.

"Guy knows how to give a beating. So, yeah." Raph answered.

"He would be a big help. But the question is how."

"Danny. Danny!" April O'Neil whispered urgently at the teenage hybrid, knowing their teacher would send him to detention for sleeping in class. Again.

"Dinkleberg?" Mr. Green called from the front of the class.

"Y equals 3+15."

"Correct. Hartman, next question?"

"Not parallel or perpendicular."

"You'll thank me later." April said before stomping on Danny's foot.

"Owww!" Danny yelled.

"Is there a problem, Mr. Fenton?" Mr. Green asked.

"No, sir." Danny answered sheepishly, "Just got bit by something." He started moving around as if he were looking for the insect.

"Well, if you're done. What is the answer to the the next question?" Green pointed to the problem on the board. Danny's eyes were darting around the room in search of clues to the problem, when he saw April lightly tapping her paper.

"Eight and three?"

"Well done Mr. Fenton," Green said, crossing his arms. After that, he went on to continue the lesson. Luckily for Fenton, he stopped searching for people to solve the questions. By the end of class, the hybrid was again woken up, only this time by the bell signaling.

"Thanks April. The only thing duller than his lectures are his detentions."

"No problem. But you really need to figure out a way to fix that insomnia." The 'insomnia' she was talking about was really the effects Danny had after a long and exhausting night of flying through the city, then fighting either criminals or ghosts. Not that he could tell her that.

"Yeah, you're probably right." The two walked together to the lunchroom, similar to the way they did before Danny got his powers. But the hybrid remembered the differences when he saw Dash and his bully friends harassing a student that wasn't 'popular'. "Hey guys." Danny said behind them, making the jocks tense. "How nice of you guys to offer to buy these kids their lunches for the next two semesters."

"W-we try." Dash said, before he and Kwan sprinted away. After the time when Dash bad mouthed the deceased Fenton's, word spread quickly and there was almost no one who was stupid enough to even try to mess with him. Fortunately, he was able to convince everyone it was martial arts training he received from his Mom, as well as squash the whole 'green eye thing' Dash had started.

As the two got in line, they started to hear word of Inviso-billl. Danny had to hold back a growl at hearing the ridiculous name some news guy had given his ghost form. He was brought out of it when he noticed his ghost sense go off. 'Wonder where the guys are?' He thought, looking for the turtles. Only to notice a green, transparent lunch lady floating behind the counter.

"I think..I forgot my...book." Danny rushed away before his best friend could ask any followup questions. He skid to a stop in front of his locker. 'Never thought I'd be shoving myself into a locker.' He threw himself in and the light traveled through the grates.

"A school?" Leonardo poked his head through the manhole close to the building. "Are you sure the ghost is here?"

"As sure as I can be with the little information I have."

"Then we wait until nightfall and–" a scream interrupted Leonardo's plan. "Change of plans. We move NOW!" The turtles moved through to the shadows and made it to an unmonitored door. Peeking through the window, the turtles saw a woman floating over the student body, blocking the door. But, believe it or not, that wasn't the weirdest part. The weirdest part was that there was food floating through the air. "Donnie, the power. Mikey, block out the sun." Leonardo sent the turtles away. "Once the lights are out, we move in." It only took a few seconds before the lights went out. Surprised by the lights going out, the ghost dropped the food. Seeing a chance, the students started running through the doors. But only a few managed to get out before the specter regained focus and posed the food for attack. It was then that a blur jumped over head and brought two katana blades straight through the form. Unfortunately, the swords simply passed through the form. The lunch lady turned to where the blur had retreated, only for a few shuriken to pass through from another direction.

"Boo-yaka-shaw!" A voice yelled. But unlike his brother, the ghost didn't let him return to the ground. She pulled a giant chicken leg from oblivion and knocked him into the table where Donnie was preparing for an attack. She pulled her arms back, calling slices of pizza into existence. The two tried to get away before seeing their legs had been tied with sausage links. The pieces of food was closing in, when suddenly, the two were launched past the wall.

"Good timing." Leo approached

"A few seconds earlier would have been better." Donnie complained, placing his head in his hand.

"I'll handle her. You guys just sit back and enjoy the show."

"She's pure evil. She uses PIZZA as a weapon!"

Danny flew back through the wall to see Raph trying to close the distance between him and the lunch lady ghost. But he was already having trouble defending from the articles of food that was sent flying at him. Invisibly, Danny flew to the other ghost and tapped her shoulder. She turned her head to see what the disturbance was, only for a gloved hand to connect with her nose. She was surprised by the sudden appearance of another ghost and had not been able to correct her flight before slamming into the wall, then crashed to the floor.

"Took you long enough." Raph said.

"Would you prefer I let you guys fight off the ghost?"

"Ghost!" Mikey yelled. Danny followed the orange turtles point to behind him. Just in time to receive a breadstick into the nose. 'Huh, so that's what that feels like.' The lunch lady levitated the food from around the room to above both their heads then pushed it at Danny. The hybrid flew away, with the food following close behind, and got an idea. He flew around the room, letting the food congeal into a single mass before changing path into a collision course with the ghost. Fists ready, Danny was flying at his max speed at the lunch lady. He disappeared shortly before hitting her, earning a split second of confusion before the food smashed into her. In an attempt to protect herself from her own attack, the ghost shifted into a state of intangibility. Except, she had done it too late and only succeeded in making herself fly through the wall, followed shortly by the ghost teen. While she was flying through the air, the hybrid pulled out a metal cylinder that looked like a thermos from behind his back. He pulled off the cap and released a light that engulfed then captured the ghost. He turned to the building he had just been, to see the turtles on the roof. The ghost landed on the roof and saw the awestruck expressions on their faces.

"Way to go, Darryl Price! No that's not good. Destroyer P? No." Mikey kept murmuring to himself. Danny looked at the others for an explanation.

"He has this thing about names." Leo answered.

"Why are all the names you coming up with start with DP?" Donnie asked Mikey.

"Because of the symbol." Mikey pointed at the emblem sitting on Danny's chest. Danny had forgotten about the DP that he himself had added to his suit while he was a complete human. A momentary silence settled over them.

"Where'd you get that piece of technology?" Donnie asked, referring to the metallic cylinder still in Danny's hands.

"Found it in a weapons cache." Danny said. That was a lie. He remembered the design after helping his parents fix the design. In fact, the construction of the thermos had been what really kept him busy for the past few weeks. Or at least mostly.

"Where was it? We could see if there are any more weapons that could help us fight ghosts." After a second, Donnie added, "Evil ghosts."

"The place ended up getting destroyed." They stared at him, eyes wide.

"Not by me."

"Well, I guess I could reverse engineer that one." Donatello suggested.

"Not unless you want to release every ghost I've caught since using this."

"How many have you caught?" Leo asked.

"Ten." Danny answered after looking at the little bar on the thermos' side.

"Than guess we'll have to make do with ghost fighting equipment. But we could use some help against Kraang."

"I have some work I have to do. But meet at third and broadway at five in two days." Danny told them before becoming invisible and flying to the restroom for his transformation.

...

"Guess we have to depend on the spook for fighting ghosts." Leo stated.

"I hate the idea of having to let someone else fight my battles." Raph said.

"What are we supposed to do? The ghost said the weapons cache was destroyed." Donnie reminded his brothers.

"We could see if there's any other ghost fighting equipment." Leo suggested.

"And how are we supposed to find that kind of technology?" Raph asked.

"Easy, we look it up." Mikey pulled the computer Donatello built.

"It's not that—" Donnie started.

"Found it." Mikey said, spinning the computer for the other turtles to see. Onscreen, was a website to order ghost weapons.

"The Fenton's Ghost Artillery?" Leo asked out loud.

"That could work. Granted they took cash. But the real question is how we'd—"

"I got it. I know what to call the ghost. Danny Phantom." Mikey interrupted.

"That's actually a good name." Leo asked.

"But where did you get the name Danny?" Donnie asked.

"Because he looks like this guy." Mikey turned the screen, which now showed a picture of the Fenton family. But the face the turtles were focused on the teenage boy who looked eerily similar to the ghost they fought along side by. And underneath them was a caption naming each member of the family.

"You don't think..?" Leo left the question hanging in the air.

"I don't know." Donnie admitted.
