I'm really sorry for not uploading sooner! Here is an extra long chapter to make up for it; can you catch the reference that I make?
Chapter Four:
Ichigo barely heard a noise in the back of her mind, but couldn't quite make it out. She forced herself awake, trying to figure out what was happening. She realized that there was a siren going off in the distance, which is what brought her to alertness. She opened her eyes, then felt them widen in surprise. The room around her was no longer a transparent bubble, but instead a dimly lit metal corridor. She carefully got to her feet, steadying herself against the wall. At the far end of the hall, she saw a door, outlined by pulsating, electronic lights. She moved towards it slowly, thankful for the lights that glowed under the metal walkway, but before she could reach the door, she heard marching footsteps coming from behind her. Frantically, she looked around for an escape route, but there was nowhere to go. She pressed herself against the wall, praying that whoever was coming wouldn't see her. The marching came closer and closer, and she clenched her fists, and whispered, "Kisshu, if you can hear me, please help!"
Then the wall behind her opened, and she was pulled into a white, windowless room. She whirled around, and saw Kisshu across from her. He was no longer joking and flirting, but deadly serious. He put a finger to his lips and leaned his head against the wall. She walked silently over to him and put her ear against it also. Right outside the room was the sound of a well-drilled army marching down the corridor. After what seemed to be an eternity, the sounds faded away, and the two teens straightened from the wall, sighing in relief. "OK, I am going to ignore for a second that you came and got me exactly when I called for you. Where in the world are we? What is going on?"
Kisshu looked pale, and he just shook his head. "I'm not sure what happened, I meant to take you straight to my planet, but something blocked me and we went… well, the best phrase would be 'spinning through space,' I suppose. The question is, what-" But he got no further. Suddenly three robotic, floating, balls materialized in the room with them. They began moving toward Kisshu and Ichigo, intoning, "Do not worry. We are not here to harm you; we simply want to kill you. This will be painless. You may experience a tingling feeling, then death."
Ichigo grabbed Kisshu's arm, and he pulled her out of the way. He pulled open the door, and they raced together down the hallway in the opposite direction of the mysterious troops. Just when they reached another door, two more robot spheres appeared, repeating the message that the others had. Kisshu tried the door, but it was locked electronically from the other side. Ichigo slowly turned to face the five robots and pushed her hand into her pocket. There lay a small, oval pendant that she hadn't looked at in a year, but never left behind. She took it out and let it rest in her palm. Kisshu put a hand on her shoulder and breathed, "Is that…. A Power Pendant?"
"Yes," she said, "Should I use it?" He turned her towards him, and took her face in his hands. "Lets see. We're currently trapped in a strange place, surrounded by enemies that want to kill us, and you have a weapon. Of course you should use it!"
"Oh, right." She held it in front of her, took a deep breath and yelled, "Mew Mew Strawberry… METAMORPHOSIS!" A glowing light covered her, and she transformed into a pink-haired superhero with cat ears and a tail. "Now those robots are going to suffer!"
