A/N: What's up guys! I'm finally back with the fourth chapter for Ocean Falls High School. Sorry it took me so long to get it out. I was pretty busy with work and planning my vacation for next month. Oh and I was playing a lot of Kid Icarus: Uprising and some Xenoblade Chronicles, both of which are fantastic games that I heavily recommend playing for anyone who hasn't yet and has a 3DS or Wii/Wii U.

Anyway, back on track. Here's the final part of the first day of school at Ocean Falls. Hope you like it :)

Chapter 4 - Duncan Myers

Cody opened the door that led into the boys locker room. After making his way past a small N-shaped hall, with the P.E teachers' office right next to the entrance, he found the lockers. The lockers in here were all colored bluish-purple. They lined an entire side of the wall, with the other side having two rooms, one was the showers and the other the restrooms. Two more sets of lockers were set up in between these walls in the front and back, both with locker doors on each side. The floor was a very clean tile with thousands of tiny squares, most colored white, and some colored purple and blue. The walls were painted white too.

The tech geek was surprised to find that he was one of the first students to arrive. The only ones here right now were two Sophomores that he didn't know. Shrugging, he headed to the opposite side of the locker rooms, where the eleventh grade class lockers were, and set his gym bag on the bench.

He took out his white Ocean Falls gym shirt and blue shorts and began to change. As he did this, the locker room slowly began to fill up with more people. Freshmen and Sophomores chatted amongst themselves on their side. After finally putting his shirt on, Cody was rather surprised that only two of his classmates had shown up so far, neither whom he knew.

Cody began putting his normal clothes into his gym bag. By doing this, he had his back toward the entrance.

And he had no idea that three boys were coming his way.

Cody tossed his gym bag into his locker and shut the door. When he turned around to leave, he felt his heart stop as he found his way blocked by three taller guys.

The geek suddenly felt his body seize with fear. He knew these boys. He knew them and their reputation all too well. One of the boys had tanned skin, dark hair whose bangs went past his black eyes and wore a blue T-shirt, jeans and gray shoes. The second had pale skin, purple eyes, red hair that was spiked in the front, freckles and wore a white tank top, dark blue jeans and black shoes. Mal and Scott!

But Cody's terrified gaze was focused on their friend in the middle. The teen wasn't much taller than himself, but he was the teen he feared the most in all of Ocean Falls High. Duncan wore a black T-shirt, with a skull design on the chest, over a white long-sleeved shirt, dark blue cargo pants and red converse shoes. The punk sported piercings on his face, which Cody was pretty sure weren't allowed in the school's dress code. He had the same feeling about his mohawk, which was dyed green.

Duncan glared down at the tech geek, while his two buds just gave him evil smirks.

"Hola, Dorkwad!" Mal greeted coldly.

Cody didn't respond. He was too petrified by his tormenters to speak.

"What are ya shakin' for Codmeister?" Duncan chuckled jokingly at the old nickname Cody once gave himself. "I take it you still haven't grown a backbone over the summer?"

"Doesn't look like it." replied Duncan's best friend Scott. "Look at him, he looks like he's about to piss himself."

At that joke, Cody's fear was replaced with anger. The Freshmen and Sophomores halted changing their clothes and were watching the situation from the far side of the room.

"What do you want?" Cody asked coldly, but still with a hint of intimidation.

"You know, dork. We couldn't help but watch you chatting it up with Bridgette a moment ago." said Duncan coldly, dropping all humor.

"Okay, so? She and I are friends."

"Dude, I saw where you were looking before you walked in here." revealed Duncan.

Cody had to think about what Duncan could've been talking about. Then, to his horror, he remembered looking at Bridgette's butt as she walked away from him. "Um, b-but I..."

"Save it, Freak." interrupted Duncan rudely. "Let me give you fair warning. Bridge is Geoff's girlfriend. And as his friend, if I ever see you staring at surfer girl like that again, you'll regret it. Don't even think about interfereing in their life, or I'll personally annilate you."

Cody's eyes narrowed. "Oh that's rich coming from you!" he suddenly snapped. "I've seen you stare at her countless times before. Don't you dare try and make me out as a perv when you've got a more wandering eye than me!"

Duncan's face fell. Apparently Cody did grow more defensive since the last time he saw him. He stepped closer, which actually made Cody afraid for just a second and sit down on the bench. Duncan placed his knee on the bench and leaned down to leer at his prey. The geek could smell the scent of tobacco around the punk. He must've just got done smoking in the parking lot.

"Well, well. Someone did grow a spine over the last few months." he whispered coldly.

"What're you three doing here?" Cody asked calmly, though he was just on that brink.

"Isn't it obvious?" Duncan whispered threateningly, as Scott and Mal moved to behind Cody, surrounding him so he couldn't get up. "We're in this period's P.E. Eleven class."

Cody felt like his heart dropped out of his body. "W-What?"

"You heard us. We're all gonna be classmates together." confirmed Scott with a snicker.

While Cody was very nervous to be in the same class as the three hooligans, he was hopeful about them not showing up often. Duncan hardly ever came to class, always preferring to skip. He wanted to be relieved at that thought, only Duncan seemed to read it.

"And with my girlfriend being in this class too, I actually have a reason to come to class. After all, I have the benefit of seeing her in her gym uniform, also I can play around with you." he finished with a cruel snicker, making Cody gulp.

"It's also good cause Lightning and Lindsay are gonna be in our class too." Mal informed Cody, placing a forceful hand on his shoulder painfully.

Cody's nervousness returned tenfold. Courtney AND Lightning were also in his class?! Courtney was bad enough, but Lightning too? Lightning Quincy was one of the top athletes in the school, as well as a friend of Duncan's and Geoff's. He was an overachiever, and while he wasn't a bully, he still had a massive ego and looked down on most of the unpopular kids in Ocean Falls for not being as athletically passionate as him. And Cody was no exception.

"Lindsay, huh?" Duncan wore a perverted smirk on his face. "That makes things even better. She's gotta little somethin' somethin' I'd like to handle, know what I mean boys?"

Mal and Scott chuckled at Duncan's comment. Cody however, was becoming angry. He couldn't believe that this guy would be so bold as to say that about Lindsay when he was already dating a beautiful girl like Courtney. This guy had the nerve to call him a perv for just looking at Bridgette, when he's thinking of other girl's behind Courtney's back? How dare Duncan! Seriously, what could Courtney possibly see in this guy?

"How does Lindsay make things better, Duncan?" snapped a new voice.

Duncan's eyes widened as he turned to look behind him. Cody looked past Duncan and saw a muscular teen with brown hair that went past his neck, and wearing a blue and white sports hoodie with OFHS on the left-chest side. This boy was a member of the football team like Geoff and Lightning: Tyler Zachary. Lindsay's boyfriend.

"Oh. Hey Tyler." Duncan greeted nervously. "I, uh, just meant that it's good to have more friends in my class. That's all."

Tyler raised an eyebrow as he continued glaring at the punk. Standing behind him was another, taller boy named Brick McArthur. He also wore an Ocean Falls High football jacket like Tyler and looked at the punk disapprovingly.

"You and Lindsay aren't friends." Tyler reminded Duncan. "You know that, you perv."

"So what, she friends with Courtney. And she talks to me occassionally." he boasted arrogantly.

"No she doesn't! She can't stand you and you know it!" Tyler screamed furiously. "Stop trying to make yourself sound like a chick magnet! And stop thinking about other guys' girls!"

Scott and Mal looked at Tyler and Brick angrily, the former began to crack his knuckles, as if preparing for a fight.

Duncan glared daggers at Lindsay's boyfriend. "Hm, whatever!" he said, turning to his two friends. "Let's go." Tyler wasn't Cody. He was pretty sure the jock could fight. Duncan shoved Cody off the bench before walking off with Mal and Scott toward the back lockers.

The underclassmen went back to their conversations as Cody massaged his sore elbow. He looked up and saw Tyler and Brick standing over him, Brick with his hand outstretched. "Thanks." said Cody gratefully as Brick helped him off the ground.

"No problem." replied Tyler, patting Cody's shoulder before he and Brick turned to their lockers and prepared to change.

Cody smiled. Unlike most of the football team, he actually did like Tyler and Brick. They were pretty nice guys compared to the rest of the team, and didn't approve of Duncan's shennanigans. He turned to leave the locker room. But then he saw Harold and Sam coming his way.

"Ya'll are running a bit late, aren't you?" Cody said as the two stopped in front of him.

"Well duh! Gosh!" complained Harold. "The Computer Tech classes are on the other side of the building from where our lockers are. Then we had to come here."

"Dude, are you alright?" Sam asked Cody. "Noah told us about what happened with Heather earlier."

Cody's face fell. "I've got bigger problems than her now." He pointed his thumb behind him to show his friends who he was talking about.

Sam's eyes went wide as he saw Duncan, Scott and Mal changing into their uniforms as they conversed loudly, annoying guys like Tyler and Brick.

Harold groaned loudly. "Duncan! Idiot!"

"Yeah, I know." Cody whispered sadly. "Well, I'll see you in the gym guys."

Cody walked past his two friends and toward the exit. For some reason, the freshmen he passed were giving him a wide berth. Almost as if they thought Duncan would come after them for being near Cody. Feeling irritable, he sped past the underclassmen and turned the corner for the exit, where he once again bumped into someone on accident. But this time, he knew he hadn't run into the large bosom of a beautiful girl.

Cody looked up into the face of a tall, black teenager wearing a blue football jersey, which he recognized as the school's jersey, with white linnings around the sleeves and the number one in the center, a string necklace with a small lightning bolt, silver hoop earrings, dark gray shorts and sky blue sneakers.

"Watch it, Small Fry!" snapped Lightning, looking down at the short geek in annoyance. "I'm already runnin' behind today!" he roughly shoves Cody into the wall before darting off, rudely bumping into other students on his way to his locker.

Cody sighed, trying to get his anger in check. From hearing Duncan threaten him and talk so ill about a sweet girl like Lindsay, Heather bad-mouthing him and his constant getting shoved around today, he wanted to just find a spare closet and yell furiously or cry. He dashed out of the locker rooms before the Sophomores began to crowd the entrance way.

Meanwhile, in the girls locker room.

A girl had finished changing into her gym uniform. The girls uniforms were pretty much the same as the boys. However, for some reason, the principal had ordered rather tighter shirts and shorter shorts for the girls to wear. The teal-haired girl wondered disgusted about what his reasoning for this was.

She suddenly heard a gasp from behind her. She looked to see one of her best friends looking at her happily.

"Gwen! Where have you been all day?" Bridgette asked as she dashed over to hug the goth girl.

"Algebra Two and Canadian History." answered Gwen with a smile. "Sorry I forgot to text you. I forgot my phone today."

"Oh, it's alright." replied Bridgette.

As she chose the locker next to Gwen's, Bridgette looked over close to the entrance and saw Freshmen and Sophomore girls entering the locker room. Their lockers, like the male Juniors, were located in the back of the room. The girl's locker room was practically identical to the boys, except everything was mirrored locationwise, with the restrooms and showers on the right-hand side instead of the left. Also, the floor was the same, but the walls were pink and the lockers themselves were reddish-pink.

Bridgette took off her hoodie and put it in her locker when Gwen said "So I passed Duncan on my way in here."

"Really?" Bridgette inquired with a hint of annoyance as she took off her light blue halter top, revealing her to be wearing a white bra underneath. "Probably skipping class again."

"Sure was. Didn't you see him? I only just got here myself."

"No, I was too busy talking with Cody on my way here." replied the surfer girl as she put her gym shirt on.

At the mention of Cody Anderson, Gwen's mood changed drastically. "I see." she groaned coldly.

Bridgette noticed the icy tone Gwen spoke with. She can't say she was shocked. Even though Cody was no longer that kind of guy, she could understand why Gwen was very distrusting about the tech geek. But then again, that was almost two years ago. She'd of thought Gwen wouldn't be so bitter about it now, especially considering he apologized after his suspension was lifted, but she supposed not. Gwen wasn't someone who let grudges go easily.

"Come on, Gwen." Bridgette tried to persuade her friend. "He's not like that anymore."

"Yeah, sure he is." spat an unconvinced Gwen. "Your telling me that in all the times you've hung out with him he's never tried to hit on you?"

"No, he hasn't." Bridgette retorted. "And I wish you and Courtney wouldn't be so cruel to the poor guy. He gets enough of that from Heather and Duncan."

Gwen just sighed. "Look, let's just drop this. I'll see you out there." Gwen walked by her friend toward the exits. It was then that she saw another person she couldn't stand entering the locker rooms.

Courtney's pace slowed down as she gave Gwen a pointed glare, which the goth girl was more than willing to return. Bridgette had watched Gwen leave for the exits, so she now watched as her two friends gave each other such hateful looks. The two never did get along.

The Type A finally walked past the goth girl and toward where Bridgette stood. Gwen sped out of the locker rooms, almost shoving Lindsay aside, who had been following her fellow cheerleader friend.

"Bridgey!" cried Lindsay happily, dashing over to the surfer girl and giving her hug.

"Hey Lindsay." Bridgette hugged the blonde back. "I was wondering when I'd run into you."

"Me too. I barely saw you over the summer."

"Yeah. Sorry, but I was working all summer." Bridgette then turned to her brunette friend, who had just taken off her pants, revealing her long, tanned legs, and was preparing to put her gym shorts on. "Um... hey Court." she began awkwardly.

"Hey Bridge." replied Courtney curtly. She righted herself and looked at her surf-loving friend.

"Look about earlier..."

"You don't have to say anything." Courtney interrupted, though calmly this time. "I'm sorry for snapping at you. But I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of Cody."

Bridgette nodded. She was happy to hear Courtney apologize. She wasn't usually one to do that, except if she got into an argument with one of her closest friends. Though she wanted to keep asking why she was so cold toward the tech geek, she also didn't want to stir up any heat again, so she dropped the subject.

"I'm so glad you two aren't fighting anymore." Lindsay cheered, standing there in bright pink lacy bra, which looked too small for her bust size, and panties.

"Yeah," agreed Courtney who had just covered her purple bra up with her gym shirt. "By the way, do either of you know who our teacher is?"

"I think it's someone named Mr. Larkin." answered Lindsay as she pulled her shorts on. "Or maybe it was Mr. Bollin?"

Bridgette chuckled as she finished getting dressed. After another moment her two friends had also finished changing too. Other classmates of theirs' stood around talking while changing, and Bridgette, Courtney and Lindsay navigated their way through the throng of girls toward the exit.

Five minutes later, and Bridgette was looking around at her fellow classmates. To her displeasure, Duncan, Scott and Mal were in her class, along with Lightning. Currently, the four of them were talking together, along with Courtney. Lindsay was over chatting happily with her boyfriend Tyler, and his friend Brick. She then looked over and saw Cody standing near Dawn, Harold and Sam away from everyone else. The latter three were talking to each other, but... was it just her imagination, or did Cody look slightly angry?

She was compelled to go and talk to him when she heard someone address her.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Beach Bum." came a rude, authoritive female voice.

Groaning, Bridgette turned around to see a tall, rather muscular girl with a dirty blonde mullet and purple eyes staring at her with a cocky smirk. Her name was Josephine Carrol, though she preffered just to be called Jo, Ocean Falls toughest female and one of the best athletes in the school.

"Jo." groaned Bridgette.

"I hear you were working all through summer. Have you gone soft as an athlete because of it?"

"Guess you'll find out, if we're in the same class."

"Oh, I look forward to crushing you." Jo taunted the surfer girl.

Because Bridgette was one of the more athletic girls in school, Jo considered her a rival, along with girls like Heather and Courtney. She used to be bullied constantly by the take-no-prisoners jockette when she was younger. But since she gained more confidence and started getting involved in athletics, Jo's taunts didn't bother the surfer girl as much anymore. Though she still grew tired of her bossy attitude.

"What's that ya look forward to doin' now?" came another new voice.

Bridgette looked to her left and saw a semi-heavy african-canadian girl with long black hair tied in a ponytail, a mole on her face and wearing her gym uniform approaching the two girls. Bridgette smiled. "Hey Leshawna."

"What's up, Baby girl." Leshawna replied nicely, before glaring back at Jo. "You still trying to pick fights with this girl? I'd o' thought youd've matured a bit over three months, but I guess not."

"Oh god, you're in this class too?" Jo groaned. "This class won't be nearly as fun anymore." she then smirked. "I see you haven't gone to the gym like I suggested, huh Thunder thighs?"

"Oh oh oh, tell me Macho Mama with butt cheeks tighter than my weave did NOT just say that?!" Leshawna snapped, getting all up in the Take-No-Prisoners jockette's face.

Several of their classmates watched as the two girls argued. Courtney looked a tad concerned, while her boyfriend and his friends snickered, hoping someone would eventually throw a punch. Lindsay hid behind Tyler, Harold and Sam walked a little closer to the scene, and even Cody had forgotten his anger and looked worried as he watched Jo and Leshawna stare each other down. Bridgette, not wanting her friend to get in trouble, was about to step in between the two girls.

However, a loud whistle had been blown, making the two girls stop their trash-talking and everyone cover their ears. The noise disappeaered a second later, and the class turned to see where it had come from.

The whistle came from a tall, very muscular man whose brown hair was cut into a near perfect flattop, had dark colored eyes and wore a white tanktop that exposed his broad shoulders and muscular arms, blue shorts and brown shoes. To Cody and Bridgette, this man gave off an aura that pretty much told them that he was not to be trifled with.

"Okay, listen up people!" the man spoke in a very deep, loud and commanding voice. Almost like how a military officer would speak. "My name is Mr. Barkin, and I will be your gym class teacher for this semester."

Mr. Barkin placed both arms behind his back as he walked through the throng of twenty or so students. "Let's go over some ground rules. Rule Number One: What Mr. Barkin says goes!" the teacher bellowed, looking right at Jo, who merely raised an eyebrow. "Rule Number Two: If you are absent from my class, you better have a good excuse as to why. And being sick without a doctor's note will not count..." he warned as he continued walking, then he turned and added "Mr. Myers", since the delinquent frequently used the "I was sick" excuse, without bringing a doctor's note. Duncan glared back at the muscular gym teacher. "Rule Number Three: You will do as I say to the best of your ability!" he said harshly in between Bridgette and Lindsay. "Failure to comply will result in severe consequences."

"Um... Like what?" Cody couldn't help but ask. To this, Mr. Barkin turned swiftly around and glared straight down into the tech geek's eyes.

"Severe. Consequences." he whispered dangerously.

Cody's eyes widened in terror. "O-Okay." Harold and Sam also looked rather afraid of Mr. Barkin. Dawn though, looked indifferent. Duncan, Lightning and their friends all laughed at the scared look on Cody's face.

"Is there something funny, Myers?"

Duncan glared back at his teacher before smirking and replying. "Nope. You're all good teach."

Courtney looked on disapproving at her boyfriend as Mr. Barkin raised an eyebrow and walked away from the punk. "What're you doing?" she snapped at Duncan. "Are you trying to get in trouble?"

"Whatever, that guy's not so tough." Duncan replied arrogantly, before looking at his girlfriend. "What? You worried about me not being here?" he asked slyly, before wrapping his arms around her back and pulling her toward him.

Courtney giggled slightly, something that didn't go unnoticed by Cody. The tech geek looked at the pair in anger and bitterness. He wanted to rush over there and tell Courtney about how Duncan had just been imagining lustfully about another girl not even ten minutes ago. But then again, considering how Courtney's been treating him as of late, maybe he shouldn't. Besides, she wouldn't believe him anyway.

"Cheer up Cody." Dawn tried to console the geek.

"Yeah, you shouldn't be worrying about them all the time." agreed Harold. "Look at the bright side. At least you have us."

Cody smiled at his three friends.

Bridgette had turned and saw Cody looking at Duncan and Courtney with a rather hurt expression. Why was he staring at them like that? He had seemed so happy when they walked to class together. Did something happen in the locker room?

Her thoughts were interrupted when someone heavy slammed into her side. "Yeah baby, let's get started! Shabam!" Lightning cheered.

"Hey! Watch it Lightning." Bridgette snapped at the athlete.

The athletic overachiever turned to the surfer girl. "You should watch where your standin', Bridge." defended Lightning. "You know better than to get in Lightning's way when it comes to gym class."

"Or you could just keep your eyes in front of you instead of on the imaginary prize in your eyes." snapped Gwen, who had just walked over to join Bridgette.

"Whatever." said Lightning dismissively.

Jo rolled her eyes as she shoved Lightning. "Whatever yourself. It's just gonna be the same old story. You always getting outshined by me."

"Jo! Whas up, dude." Lightning asked with a smirk. This made Bridgette and Gwen laugh. Lightning always thought that Jo was a boy.

"I'm not a dude!" Jo snapped through gritted teeth.

Mr. Barkin blew his whistle again. "Look alive people! It's time to start daily exercises!" Cody, Bridgette, Jo, Lightning, Duncan and the rest of the class all filed in around their teacher. "Give me twenty jumping jacks, NOW!"

An hour later saw Cody changing back into his regular clothing. P.E. was over, and it was close to lunch time. Mr. Barkin had given their class quite the workout. His tiny muscles were aching due to all the exercising and running he had to do. He was so tired that he didn't have enough energy to stay mad at Duncan. His friends were right. He shouldn't take everything he, Heather and Courtney say so seriously.

He had just finished putting his gym bag into his locker when he was shoved into his locker. "Move Dorkohontas!" said Duncan rudely as he forced his way through to leave. He, Scott and Mal laughed as they pushed Harold out of their way too, knocking his glasses off in the process.

"Gosh! Idiots!" snapped Harold, picking up his glasses and putting them back on.

Cody just sighed, remembering what Harold had told him earlier about not letting Duncan get to him. Once Sam shut his locker, the three geeks walked out of the locker room together. Dawn was waiting for them out in the hallway as other students walked around.

"You didn't have to wait for us, Dawn." said Harold.

"Yes I did, I happen to like walking with my friends." replied Dawn with a smile.

Cody smiled. "Oh man, I'm starving. Mr. Barkin worked us hard today."

"He sure did." whined Sam, who was hunched over, still out of breath from class. "I really don't like that guy. Why did my parents force me to take P.E. again?"

"Cause they want you to do some athletics instead playing video games all the time." Cody answered nonchalantly.

"I don't play games all the time." Sam said defensively.

The four had entered the cafeteria and saw that the lunch line was still pretty small, so they took advantage of it and headed inside to get their food. Today was pizza and fries.

Cody looked around for a table for them to sit at. Noah, Owen, Izzy, Zoey and Cameron were going to be in this lunch period too, and he needed to find a table to sit all nine of them. Luckily for him, he saw Zoey waving them over from a table close by, and the other four were already sitting with her. Cody, Dawn, Harold and Sam went over and sat in the vacant seats by their friends.

"Guys, do you think I play video games too much?" Sam asked them, sitting next to Owen.

Noah scoffed. "Are you kidding? You risked playing E.T. The Game by betting Harold that you could get all a hundred and twenty stars in Super Mario 64 on all four files before he could. If you're gonna wager that, than you're waaaay too deep in the gaming jar."

Harold visibly shuddered as he sat down next to Cameron. "That was the worst thirty minutes in my entire gaming career." he whined.

Cody also shuddered at the thought of playing what is legitimately one of the worst games, if not THE WORST game, ever made. However, his mind shifted gears as he noticed Bridgette walking into the cafeteria with her lunch bag under her arm. He continued staring at her beautiful form as she found a table with Courtney, Duncan, Heather, Dakota, Scott, Mal, Lightning and her boyfriend Geoff. Basically, mostly people who hated him. This hurt the tech geek a bit, something that didn't go unnoticed by his best friend.

"Whatcha lookin' at there, Romeo?" joked Noah, making Cody turn back to his friends, who were now all staring at him.

"N-N-Nothing..." stuttered Cody nervously.

"Then why are you are stuttering?" wondered Cameron with concern.

"Yeah, and why's your face as red as a tomato?" asked Owen before taking a bite of one of his three slices of pizza.

"Your aura is pink again Cody?" said Dawn with a smile.

Cody could feel his heartbeat accelerate as all eight of his friends stared him down curiously. He did admit to Noah earlier that morning that he would tell them all about his newly awakened feelings for the surfer girl, but now that the moment had come, the geek felt like he had lost his voice.

He couldn't do it. But before he could come up with an excuse...

"Go on, man. Tell them what you told me earlier." Noah urged, smirking in amusement.

"Damnit Noah!" Cody swore mentally.

"Tell us what?!" exclaimed Izzy, both excited and curious. "Tell us. Tell us. TELL US!"

Cody, along with everyone else at the table, jumped when Izzy yelled that last part threatingly. Faced with fear from a possible Izzy attack, the tech geek slowly told his friends what had been on his mind for most of the day.

"Okay, okay! Geez... Well, I uh..." he was losing his nerve again. "I kinda, might have a..." he stuttered pathetically. It's like he was telling Bridgette herself that he loved her.

Noah rolled his eyes and smacked Cody in the back of the head. His friend's physical motivation caused Cody to finally blurt out "I like Bridgette!"

Everybody had a different reaction to the news. Noah and Dawn (who had also already known this) remained unsurprised. Sam, who had been drinking some of his chocolate milk, performed a spittake, which sprayed Harold, whose mouth was open in shock before looking at Sam in slight annoyance. Zoey gasped, Izzy squealed, Cameron just stared and Owen looked stunned.

"Cody, that's so cute." cooed Zoey, who had her hands together.

"Yeah, you guys would be such a cute couple!" Owen agreed.

"Shhhh!" Cody shushed his largest friend, who had practically shouted the last line which caused a whole table to turn and stare at them. "Keep it down, someone might hear you."

"But why would that be a bad thing?" asked Owen curiously as the table next to them finally shrugged and went back to their business.

Noah smacked his forehead. "Have you forgotten, Chubby Buddy? Bridgette's already dating someone."

Owen's face fell. "Oh yeah."

Cody's face had also fallen. "Yeah, and I don't stand a chance when she's so happy with Geoff." he muttered miserably.

The whole table felt bad for their friend as they saw Cody's sad face. Deciding to break the silence, Dawn put a comforting hand on the geek's shoulder.

"Cheer up, Cody. If it makes you feel better, we all know that you'd be a boyfriend than Geoff."

Cody looked up into his short friend's gray, yet comforting eyes and replied. "You really think so?"

"I can read auras Cody." Dawn answered, rather proudly. "I know these things."

Cody smiled at the tiny blonde girl. "Thanks again Dawn." he whispered gratefully. "You seriously rock."

His compliment made Dawn's pale face turn pink. She then stuttered. "Y-You're welcome Cody." she then turned away from him and sat with her arms in her lap and looking at her food shyly. This went unnoticed by everyone except Noah, who just snickered.

Then he addressed Cody. "Yeah dude, and Bridgette and Geoff's relationship isn't nearly as stable as it was before summer started. If they break up again, you might have a shot."

"W-What? N-No, I couldn't do that?" stuttered Cody.

"Why not?" wondered Harold.

"Cause... Cause, we're just friends. I don't want to risk that. Besides, she might be too emotionally hurt to want to go out with another guy so soon."

"What are you talkin' about? There are many girls who go out with another guy less than a week after breaking up with their ex." piped up Izzy. "I mean look at me! After I broke up with that A-hole Justin, I started dating Big O here." Izzy's eyes immediately went wide and she slapped her hands to her mouth.

Once again, Sam performed a spittake, which again splashed Harold in the face. He looked a little annoyed at that. Zoey and Cameron both gasped, even Noah looked dumbfounded by this reveal. His mouth actually wide open in shock. Cody and Dawn just stared between the energetic redhead and Owen, whose face had become bright red and had the "Deer caught in the headlights" look.

"Damn it! There goes their I Spy game!" Izzy cursed to herself.

"Wait? You two are... dating?" Sam asked the large blonde teen.

Owen chuckled. "Welp. I guess the burger's outta the wrapper." The bizzare phrase made Noah roll his eyes. "Yep. Izzy and I are official."

"Oh my GOOOOD!" Zoey shreiked happily, which caused some other students sitting around them to look at her like she was crazy. "That's adorable! When did this happen?"

"Right after Justin moved back to Hawaii." answered Izzy, crossing her arms and looking smug. "He broke up with me the week before. I didn't tell anybody cause if anyone even whispered his name in my prescence, I might've beat the crap outta them." That made Harold, Sam and Cameron gulp. "I told Owen though. After hanging out for a while, he finally asked me out, and I said yes."

"Why didn't you tell us this after it happened?" wondered Cody curiously.

"Because she thought it woulda been fun if you guys could figure it out for yourselves." revealed Owen with a smile.

"That's a strange and illogical reason." Cameron pointed out.

"That's Izzy logic for you." snickered Noah. Izzy frowned, and flicked a spoonful of mashed potatoes at the cynic. "Ow!" Everyone at the table laughed.

Cody started to feel better after about ten minutes, even getting involved in Noah, Sam and Harold's conversation about more Pokemon Journeys. He honestly felt very happy for Owen. While Izzy could be a bit of a wild child, Owen's optimism was a perfect balance for Izzy's personality. Plus the two of them got along swimmingly, and were almost always hanging out with each other anyway. The two of them couldn't have been a more perfect match for each other.

"And maybe, just maybe. If Owen could date someone as pretty as Izzy. Maybe a guy like me could have a shot with a girl like Bridgette." he thought optimistically. "We do know each other pretty well, after all."

He then took another glance at the table Bridgette was sitting at. She was talking to her boyfriend Geoff, and she looked pretty happy while she did. Cody looked away with slightly dampened spirits. Noah might've told him that their realtionship was on the rocks, but it didn't look like it now.

"Then again. Maybe she'll let me down gently." he finished, slightly sad.

And that's it for that chapter. Cody has finally come clean to his friends about his feelings for Bridgette, and Izzy and Owen have come clean about their going out, Duncan and Gwen have finally been revealed and so have most of the rest of the characters that will be seen in this story. All of the teachers in this story will be my own made-up characters. No Chris, no Chef, all original. However, I got to thinking. I had planned on bringing in a tough but fair kind of gym teacher. However at the last minute, I thought about Steve Barkin from Kim Possible (One of, if not my favorite cartoons of all time). So, I decided to bring him into this story. Now some people might ask that "If stuff like the Xbox, Jeeps and other real-life things are in this story, than how can a character from another cartoon be in this?" Hey, if TDI Charlie Brown can have Kratos, Stewie Griffin and Nostalgia Critic (a video game character, cartoon and real-life internet reviewer) all read "A Codette World Tour", and Critic's alter ego Chester A. Bum actually be in the story itself, than I think Mr. Barkin being in this story will be okay as long as one doesn't think about it so hard. It is Fanfiction after all.

Also, I've got this sneaking suspicion that some people might not like how I portrayed Duncan here. But as Total Drama Action and World Tour show, he's not the bad boy with the good heart from the first season anymore (Though his doing good deeds in Total Drama All-Stars was pretty funny). I'll be using the villain Duncan in my story. I just thought I'd tell you just in case you're one of those people wondering why he's acting like such a jerk.

Let me know what you thought by leaving a review. The first day of school is finally over. Next time will focus solely from Bridgette's point of view. And will feature most of her friends and Geoff. Hope to see ya'll soon. Peace!
