Enter Cell

Vegeta growled low in his throat as he flew off after the androids. I was desperate to make sure he didn't get killed, so I of course went after him. He sensed me coming and increased his power level to gain speed. I was getting tired of this game, I was stronger than he was and he should know that by now. I wasn't trying to compete with him. He will become as strong as he dreams in the future, but now I was superior. I easily matched his pace as he growled angrily. I could feel the other warriors behind us struggling in vain to catch us. They didn't have a chance against two Super Saiyan's.

Vegeta suddenly stopped and looked at me as if he would kill me. My father had never given me a look like that. I was scared for my life, I was stronger, but it didn't mean I didn't fear him. I could feel his power level rising as I watched him burst into golden flames again. He was extremely angry with me, but I didn't deserve this. Why was he so angry? He should be impressed that a female is a Super Saiyan. Even in my own time, I was still the only one. Not even Pan could make the transition to this force. Not that it would ever happen now. She was gone, and we couldn't bring her back.

I felt a sudden excruciating pain hit my stomach and then my back as I found myself out of Super Saiyan and plummeting to the ground. I watched as Vegeta smirked from in the sky, before taking off again. How could I have let my guard down? Why did he attack me, was he really that frustrated or threatened by me? I lay there in pain as I felt his power level moving quickly away. That Bastard. How could that same man be my father? I felt the rest of the warrior's pass over head as well, a short time later. I gasped for precious air. He had winded me.

I fiddled around with my sash until I had the small bag on sensu beans in my hand. I slowly took one out and halved it before taking one half into me and the other was returned to the bag. I stood up, now feeling tremendously powerful and angry. There was no need for revenge though, I had to stick to my plan. Vegeta had taken me down. He had injured me and for no real reasons, but I had to push it from my mind and continue. We were on the same team, for argument sake, and yet he viciously attacked me. What makes it worst is that he is going to try and take the Androids on himself. My father was such an arrogant and proud prick in this time and what was worse was that he was going to watch me carefully.

I shot off into the sky in search of Vegeta and the others. I could the power levels rising before I saw the huge blasts. The other warriors had powered up, but they were not fighting. When I finally reached the battlefield, that was a cliff side highway, the mountain had almost been blown away. I could see Vegeta at the top of the mountain having a ground level battle with 18. He was losing badly, but knowing him, he would not give up that easily. He burst into more brilliant flames as he went for 18 again. She was far superior in strength, just as I was. Perhaps my father was a sexist. It wasn't entirely impossible; in fact it was high possible.

A sudden horrific scream echoed around the surrounding valley, as I looked down at Vegeta from my place in the sky. He was kneeling on the ground holding on tightly to his arm that had been pulled from its socket. I rushed forward from my place in the sky to help him. I suddenly stopped and looked down at my father. He was in pain, a lot of pain, but I could not help him. He would toss me aside anyway. I had all my sensu beans, but I couldn't share them. I looked down at him sadly; his pain seemed unbearable. I could not help him though. 18 laughed evilly at her victim. He raised his eyes slowly to look upon the face of his enemy. It seemed to be killing him that it a slight-build, female warrior.

I started debating with myself as to what action I should take here. For one if I did help him, it would change the future too much, but how much worse could life be in my time if it were altered. Maybe he needed this pain as a lesson not to take on a warrior who is far superior. My father had always taught me that, but I always thought it was because I could just let him fight the warrior. Now I knew this was just to keep myself alive. He cares so deeply for me. The other reason of course, perhaps the one that was more important was the fact that he would not want my help. He was extremely stubborn and proud and would not except, especially me, a female, to help him.

I floated above looking at him sadly until I reached the ground. I stood and just looked as the different situation flicked through my mind. " Father," I whispered to myself in defeat. I could not help him, no matter how much I wanted to. I began to cry silently as a few tears came rolling down my cheeks. I kicked myself for the tears. I had to be strong here and show no connection to him and my family members in this time. I could only stand there and watch. He turned his head and looked at me in rage. A female killing him and a female offering to help, this must be his hell.

" Piccolo, what's up?" Krillin questioned the green warrior beside him. Piccolo shook his head to clear it and said nothing. He kept looking down at me. I suddenly turned my face to meet his gaze as he looked like he saw a ghost. I thought nothing of Piccolo's weirdness and looked sadly back at Vegeta and then back to Piccolo immediately. I had forgotten that Piccolo had such amazing hearing. My cover was blown. Fuck! What was I going to do now? He had heard my desperate plea to my father. I nodded as I saw him gasp. Krillin looked at him suddenly and followed his eye line back to me.

" What is she doing so close?" Krillin asked concerned. Piccolo just growled at the nosy warrior. I was so worried, Piccolo knew who I was, that would make my task a lot a harder. How could I be so careless. I had already broken my first rule and I'd only been here minutes. If he knew who I was, he would keep a closer eye on me, making it impossible to get past him when the time was right. My father always told me that Piccolo was a worthy opponent, meaning that he could just tolerate him, which was good, because most of the Z fighters irritated him. However, Piccolo would only get in the way now. I kicked myself.

" I am sorry I cannot help you, father," I whispered under my breath as I shot off into the sky. I had to get away. Perhaps I should just abandon the whole thing. No I had come to far. I heard Piccolo curse as I left. I could tell he was debating whether or not to follow me. He didn't thank god, something actually going my way. I flew off into the distance, as fast as I could to get away from the awful scene. I could not bear watching my father being beaten so badly.

I finally touched down at the site of my landing with the time machine. I let it out of the capsule so I could check its condition. When I was certain it was fine I sat down with my back leaning against it. I closed my eyes and began to regain my composure. I was thinking about my plan. I had to get Cell when he was distracted, so that I could put the appropriate guards in place. Once I had him though, the Z warriors would be after me, ready to kill Cell and I. Perhaps Piccolo would doubt who I was, but then again, he may leave me to my plan.

I stood up suddenly as I felt a huge power level rising and falling and rising again. There was a massive fight going, however it seemed only one person was fighting. It was Piccolo. The fight was taking place in a different location than before. I quickly looked at my watch. In all my planning and thoughts, I had fallen asleep. I hid the time machine in a cave near by, because it was safer than carrying it with me. If someone stole it from me, I would be stuck here.

I flew off into the sky to see what was going on. I could not feel Vegeta's power level and I began to panic. Where was he? Was he dead? No he couldn't be. I felt some more power levels at Dende's lookout. Goku was there and so was Gohan. I couldn't sense Yamucha, but he was probably at Roshi's. Tien was very close to Piccolo's power level, which was huge now. How much had I missed when I took my stupid nap. How could I be so careless. I definitely had to be more caeful from here on in.

I flew over the sea as it cleared a path with my speed. Piccolo was on the island ahead. I slowed down as I got closer to the island. As I searched for a place to hide I passed over Tien's head. He was watching too. I touched down making sure that he did not notice me.

Piccolo was fighting android 17 as 16 and 18 watched from a distance. The android and Piccolo seemed a very close match, as 17 was getting angrier and angrier. He was being unexpectedly beaten. The fight was getting nowhere however and 18 was becoming very impatient. That was typical, she always seemed bored or angry, it was just her way.

Piccolo suddenly stopped dead on the spot. He looked up into the sky in fear. " Stop, 17!" he yelled before he nearly got on the wrong end of 17's fist. Android 17 stopped immediately and looked into the sky. Both warriors' began to tremble in fear. I could see Tien below looking up into the sky as well. There was something coming.

I calmed myself down and began to concentrate as I looked into the sky as well. It was horrible, a strong and evil force was coming and it was stronger than Piccolo. " Cell, he's here!" Piccolo yelled in fear. I was afraid, but I could not help the smirk that began to cross my face. I was finally going to get a look at the monster that I was going to save.

I heard a gasp and I looked immediately down at Piccolo and 17. There was someone else on the fighting field. He was green and ugly, but his power was huge. " Android 17," Cell laughed. I suddenly remembered that he had to absorb 17 and 18 to become complete. I needed him to be complete. I would not however interfere with the actions that were about to happen.

Piccolo crouched in fighting position, as he was eager to kill this monster. Sadly I knew that he would lose. Cell laughed just as Piccolo came flying at him. Piccolo threw punches and kicked at Cell to no avail. Cell was only playing with him. I laughed to myself; I always made fun of my victims too. Cell was becoming bored as he began to fight back. Piccolo didn't have a hope. He was quickly beaten. 17 stumbled backwards in fear.

" Seventeen, it is your destiny," Cell began to speak with 17. " Don't you wish to began the most powerful being in the universe? Join me and you can!" Cell yelled at the scared android.

" Never!" Android 17 yelled back as he looked over at 18. She was afraid for her brother.

" It was Dr Gero's plan, 17, he had this planned for you. Make us complete, brother!" He yelled back at 17. The android stepped back in fear as he shock his head in disagreement. Cell took this moment in time to attack. 17 was passed all fear as he flew at Cell. The two meet at a furious explosion of energy. Cell was fighting for his completeness and 17 for his life.

17 was losing terribly as Piccolo, 18 and 16 could only watch in fear of what would happen. Cell's tail expanded at the end as he walked slowly toward his target. 17 had lost all of his power. He was helpless. 18 ran forward to save her brother before quickly being pulled back into their hiding place by 16. He was saving her. Could an android be caring for the safety of another?

A horrid scream rang in my ears, as 17 was never seen again. A brilliant light followed as Cell began to laugh evilly. There was lighting and I could feel his huge power level increasing rapidly. He was amazing strong now, but I was still stronger, thank Dende.

The fireworks stopped as a new green figure stood where Cell was before. He had transformed into a new Cell. He was less ugly as the android gave him a more human look. As if he has heard me he walked to the water edge and looked at himself. He laughed to himself. " I look better than before. 18 should have a similar effect," he spoke to himself. He stood up and again and looked over to where 16 and 18 were hiding. She had let him know her location, as she screamed for her brother as he was sucked up into Cell.

"18, you're mine!" He yelled as he pointed at the android.
