Iris: Queen of Dragons

I don't own anything. This is a Wishfulshipping fic (Iris x Cilan). This fic is based on Tarzan only set in the Pokémon world. Kind of extremely OOC. Ages-

Iris: 17

Cilan (and his brothers): 19

Clay: 34 maybe?

AN: I am sorry about slight grammatical errors in my previous chapters. Sorry about that. I write too quick and I'm not one for immersive editing. I'll fix them later. Also, meant to post this ages ago but for some reason, I didn't so I apologise for those of you who are losing patience with this story.

Iris watched from a high tree branch as some strange creature prepare to be attacked by hundreds of Ratticates. She would have laughed at the creature's foolishness if it wasn't for the fact that the foolish creature looked like a paler, greener, taller version of her. With some conviction, Iris grabbed a vine and swung towards the creature. She took the strange Pokémon to another high tree branch. Iris backed off, expecting thanks.

Thanks was not what she got. The strange creature began to stutter out strangely formed words which made no sense to Iris's ears. The voice itself sounded male and kind of pitchy. It was hard to tell through the creature's armour. It was soft, like nothing she had ever touched. Iris came closer and stared in awe at the creature. 'W-Who are you?' the creature asked. Iris tilted her head in confusion.

'Seems like she doesn't understand...' the creature murmured but there was no meaning in those words to Iris. 'I,' he said and pointed to himself with one of his strange appendages which looked closely like hers. 'Cilan.'

'Ci-lan.' Iris said sounding out the silly word. What could it possibly mean? She wondered.

'You?' he asked, pointing to her.

'Ci-lan!' she chirped

'I. Am. Asking. Who. You. Are?' he said, sounding out all the syllables and saying his words slowly.

'You?' she repeated like a Chatot.

'Yes, you, not me.' he said, trying to keep himself from being confused. Iris could tell because he had a strange look in his eyes. A look of thought it seemed.

'Me?' she repeated

'Yes.' he nodded.

'Iris?' she said unsurely.

The odd creature began to smile and did something strange with his right appendage. He held it out. Iris put her hand into it and noticed something. They were strangely similar, too similar but nothing like any other she had ever seen. It was rather amazing. A strange, alien feeling surged through her. Perhaps it was a feeling of belonging, knowing that she wasn't in a species all of her own. Or maybe it was something else but it didn't matter. Iris forced the strange creature to straighten out it. Iris stared at their hands in wonderment. She grinned and giggled.

Then she did something the strange creature found unprecedented, something unpredictable. She put her head close to his chest. Iris could feel his heart beat close to her ear. She liked the sound it made. She then forced him to put him to put his head close to her chest. 'What?!' he shouted, struggling to pronounce another strange word. She then pushed him away and ducked for his chest, to listen to his heartbeat again. Then the green-furred creature understood what was happening. 'Your heartbeat is very nice.' he said. Iris grinned gleefully then fled.

Cilan wondered why. He watched the strange girl swing away on a vine, giggling to herself. It certainly had been a strange experience. Stranger still when Cilan remembered that this was supposed to be a deserted island. Was there a village nearby or was this girl something else; something supernatural perhaps. Cilan laughed at himself for even thinking the mysterious girl was a spiritual representation of the jungle. A jungle is just a jungle after all.
