Alright, well, I don't honestly know where this came from… like I legitimately forgot that I had this story (because I'm an awful person like that) and then I get this email saying I have a review on my story and wow… thanks so much to leppy99 who like went back and reviewed on this and somehow gave me the inspiration to get back into writing this… so this one's for you, and I hope you don't hate it!

Aria immediately went downstairs after reading the text message, only to see Emily is crying and both Spencer and Hanna looking distraught. Deciding Emily was probably the one to be comforting, she went over to her, "Hey Em, I need you to take a deep breath, okay, sweetie?" At this, Emily started crying harder, and Spencer finally snapped out of it and came over,

"Em, just tell us what happened, nothing could change the way we love you" Hanna was honestly getting frustrated, she had had enough of A ruining their lives, and just wanted it all to be over

"Just fucking spit it out Emily, we can all get over it, and you know that." Aria and Spencer seemed a little disappointed at her choice in words, but it seemed to work for Emily as she took a shaky breath and opened her mouth to speak when Natalia came running down the stairs,

"Hey guys, so I got this new…" she broke off in the middle of her sentence as she saw Emily with tear tracks on her face, "what's wro-"

"Can you just hold off on the questions and let Emily speak, because if we don't let her get it out now, she won't work up the courage to do it later" Hanna cut Natalia off, trying to come across as nice as possible, as she wasn't honestly trying to be rude. As Natalia nodded, Emily shot Hanna a grateful look, right before she started speaking

"Do you guys remember how I was in Florida last summer, with my aunt? Well one day, I was just kinda hanging out around the park because I needed to get out of the house and this guy came up to me and well…

*flashback*

"Hey, you're not from around here, are you?"

"Umm, no, why?"

"Well, you look like you know how to have fun and well there's a party tonight at"

"I'm sorry, I'm not exactly into guys like that… I have a girlfriend"

"That's awesome! Anyways, the party is at my boyfriend's house, and I'd really like to see you there tonight"

Emily blushed a little before sputtering out an apology, "I'm really sorry, I shouldn't have assumed… just give me the address and I'll see you there tonight"

*end flashback*

"… so I went to the party and one thing led to another and somehow I ended up selling drugs to this one kid but I didn't know they were drugs and it turned out that they had overdosed and were found dead the next morning and essentially it's my fault that someone died and I just don't know what to do because THEY WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO DIE AND I WASN'T SUPPOSED TO GIVE SOMEONE DRUGS." Emily finished the story, getting more and more hysterical as she went on with it. Hanna went upstairs claiming she was going to get Emily some water, even though they all knew that she needed to just get away and take a break for like 10 minutes. Aria and Spencer looked at each other, not knowing what to say, as Natalia finally approached Emily.

"Hey Emily, can you please look at me?" she stood and waited until Emily finally set her eyes on Natalia. " Look hon, sometimes, bad things happen, and you didn't know it was drugs, and you didn't know they were going to overdose, and it's a bad life choice that someone else made, it's not your fault. And even if you think that no one else will see it that way, we will make sure that no one finds out and if they do, they'll know that you aren't guilty and had no part in this. So you need to take a lot of deep breaths, and just. Calm. Down." Aria and Spencer came over as well, and all four of them held onto each other, just hugging, when Hanna came down and joined them.

Five minutes later, the girls heard footsteps on the stairs and looked up to Noel, who seemed more than a little confused upon seeing all the girls holding onto each other. However, he noticed the slight tension that was still in the air and decided to try and lighten it. "Damn, I knew you guys were best friends, but I guess I didn't realize just how close you were… makes me feel hella left out." The girls laughed at this, and their group hug dispersed. Aria walked over to Noel and gave him hug, looking up at him with a smile meant as a thank you and I love you and I'm so glad you picked up on the little things.

"So I know it's not really like I suppose the best time for this but…" everyone groaned, knowing exactly what Hanna was about to say next "we should really get to the mall and get our stuff, you know that they can only keep it for so long, and I just want my new shoes!" Everyone groaned as they mumbled 'of course you do' under their breaths.

As they walked through the mall, Aria and Noel lingered behind the rest of them, Noel with his arm around Aria's waist as they walked. "You know, I was wondering…" Noel started, only continuing on at Aria's resulting nod, "There should have been, if the party was as big as Emily said, at least 50 other girls at that party. Of all of them, Emily is the one that gets caught in this… what are the odds of everything like this happening to you guys?"

Aria smiled lightly, not truly amused at the idea, but as a sort of agreement with Noel's statement. "I think, it's a bit of Karma, and a bit of coincidence. We were awful people when we hung out with Alison, and even after she was… gone… we never really tried to change that until we were forced to. Instead of coming together and just being friends even after she was gone, we all kept our distance based on the fact that we knew Ali had too much dirt on us and we thought she must have told the others. A sick inside joke that everyone knew but us, that was her MO. Ali made us all feel special and utterly disgusting at the same time, but we all craved the popularity that came with her, and the bad karma. It made us some truly awful people at one point."

Noel nodded along with her point, not knowing enough about what he thought was a twisted middle school friendship to have his own opinion. Stopping, he turned to Aria, loosely wrapping both his arms around her waist. "Well, I, for one, think you are an amazing human being, and I wouldn't want you any other way, and I just want you to know that I love you." Aria leaned forward until her head was resting on his chest, and her arms were around his neck. They stood in the middle of the mall, just hugging, just content on being with each other.

Hanna laughed, "Wouldn't you agree, Aria?" Turning around when she heard no response from Aria, she saw the two of them hugging, saying 'awww' which prompted the entire group to turn around. "Hey lovebirds!" Aria and Noel both looked up from their hug to look at their friends. "We think you're cute and are really happy that you're in love, but, uh, let's get a move on, yeah?"

Spencer laughed along with the rest of her friends, but her mind was elsewhere. If something that truly was not Emily's fault could be brought to light, could something of Spencer's show up in a text from A as well? No one noticed her inner turmoil except Noel, who then became determined to figure out just what was wrong with the girl that had become one of his best friends.

Almost as if in response to her question, Spencer's phone chirped, and who could it be but A? Spencer looked down, silently reading the message, begging herself to not betray her emotions, repeatedly saying 'conceal, don't feel' just trying to ensure that her friends would not figure out who it was. "Hey, Spence, you okay?" Zach asked of her.

She quickly looked up, realizing that she had just been staring at her phone. "Yeah, yeah I'm totally fine! Well, let's get this over with, shall we? I want to get home" She could pretend like nothing happened right, like her life wasn't about to fall apart?

"Boo, you whore! LOL I know, Mean Girls is the greatest movie ever, right! However, if I wanted to talk about movies, I would pick less of a little liar to talk to. Speaking of lies, does the boyfriend know what a whore his lovely girlfriend is? What about the dream school, how much do they really know about Ms. Hastings? ~ A"

OKAY. I've been writing some stuff for my friends, so I really think my writing has gotten better, but this was written in random parts so like some of it is really crappy, I just would rather give this and make the story better than spend so much time on just this one chapter. So, even if no one is still reading this, I have decided that I am going to continue to try and update it! LET ME KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS. Seriously, reviews are the only thing pushing me, aside from sheer will to complete a story. PLEASE REVIEW
