Their hearts seemed to stop, and their breaths were caught in their throats as they heard their sisters' voice travelling up the stairs followed by her soft footsteps on the carpet. In the heat of the moment, they glanced quickly at each other before diving off the bed in an attempt to cover over what they had been doing in those unbelievably fast 20 minutes.

Phineas began looking for his pants and boxers that were abandoned in his and Ferbs' sudden turn of events while Ferb climbed into his own bed and picked up a book from the floor as to make it look like he had gone straight to his activity. Once settled in his position, with his fingers in the pages of the book, he looked over at his step brother who had just located his boxers and had just slid them on settling them just below his hips.

The thoughts running through Ferb's mind wasn't helping his hard on the situation, which he was covering rather well under the covers of his bed and his book, but at least Phineas looked a little less guilty now. Ferb cleared his throat and pointed to the base of Phineas's bed to which Phineas turned around to find his pants.

He had just managed to pull them back on when Candace knocked on the door and slowly opened it, sticking her head around the gap before pushing the door open with her body revealing the two trays she was carrying.

"Dinner's...well supper's ready I guess. I thought it'd be better for you guys to eat up here, you know out of the way while mom and dad erm...stay...downstairs for a while?" Candace said sporting a not so innocent, innocent smile.

Ferb smirked from behind his book he was pretending to read while willing for his erection to go down. He knew what Candace was getting at about their parents but he and Candace both knew that they wouldn't do THAT downstairs or while any of them were in the house really, or not to their knowledge, they had respect like that.

"Ok. What do we do with the trays and things when we're done?" Phineas asked not picking up on what Candace was hinting at, to her relief.

"Oh just put them outside the door and I'll come and pick them up later. If you need anything or me, I'll be down the hall in my room, let's give mom and dad a night off." Candace said smiling at her brothers.

To say they'd rushed into trying to cover up their fanatics, they'd done a good job of it providing Candace hadn't noticed anything; until now.

"Are your pants on backwards?"

All three pairs of eyes were directed to Phineas's pants which were, as Candace had pointed out, on backwards. So maybe not everything had been covered properly, but in all fairness, they did have ten seconds to get sorted.

"Think of something Phineas! Think!" Both Phineas and Ferb willed.

Before the red headed boy could open his mouth a form of believable excuse, Candace saw a certain mark on her brother's neck.

"What happened to your neck?" She asked, not being close enough to be able to see what it was. As she reached out to have a look, Phineas backed away placing his hand on his neck, covering the mark.

Candace pulled back her hand a little shocked at her youngest brothers' reaction. Ferb instantly felt guilty; he should have known that this would backfire on them somewhere, he should have listened to Phineas but he couldn't help himself he just loved hearing the boy moan and groan underneath his lips.

"Oh, it's a skin irritation. A warm night and all! I've been scratching at it, Ferb told me to stop but I couldn't help it. It'll go away. I'll be fine." Phineas said quickly, thankful an idea came in time. Who knows what would have happened if it hadn't.

"Are you sure? Do you need any ice or cream or anything for it?" Candace asked.

She may have wanted to bust the boys every day for being creative and call them pests and say they're annoying but they were her brothers and she loved them and cared for them. Ferb felt his mouth twitch to smile at her genuine concern.

"No, I'll be fine. I've stopped scratching, It'll go down as long as I leave it alone." Phineas replied.

"Well if you're sure then I'll be where I said I would," Candace stated as she turned to leave the room.

The boys felt a great relief starting to wash over them as she did so; or at least until she paused and asked, "So why are your pants on backwards?"

Ferb glance over at Phineas once more, watching the cogs turning in his mind trying to think of something just as he was to try and cover his and his new lover's tracks.

"I was getting changed when we heard you coming up the stairs, so I just grabbed the nearest thing to me," Phineas stated.

"Nice answer." Ferb thought to himself.

"Oh, fair enough. Well, night!" Candace called as she left the room.

"Night Candace!" Phineas replied.

"Goodnight Candace," Ferb spoke.

Now Candace may not have said anything, but she knew that wasn't all the truth from the boys or Phineas at least. She knew when he was lying since he wasn't very good at doing so but his excuses were believable enough to fool their mom and dad just not her.

The reason she knew it wasn't all true was down to the fact that Phineas's pyjamas were nowhere to be seen and Ferb would have been changed and in bed rather than in bed dressed. Something was going on but she just didn't know what.

She decided to let it go for tonight, not wanting to distract her parents, but she wouldn't forget to ask them or figure it out, she told herself walking down the hall to her room.

As Candace had shut the door, Phineas let out a sigh of relief and Ferb dropped his book on to his lap. Glancing at each other they smiled.

"That was close," Phineas stated.

Ferb nodded in agreement.

"It was a little too close. I told you someone would see the mark!" Phineas snapped slightly at his step brother.

Ferb pushed back the covers on his bed and walked over to the younger boy placing his hand on the other's shoulder.

"I know you did, but you had a believable excuse quickly to hand," Ferb replied gently.

"That's not the point Ferbooch! She saw! Candace saw! And I don't even have my pants on the right way and she noticed that too! You know she's going to say something about it later and this mark isn't going to have gone down by then and then I'll have to explain this to mom and dad and what if I forget what I said to Candace and she's around when they ask?! And what if..." Phineas's rant was cut short by his step brothers lips being pressed up against his own gently.

Phineas jumped at the sudden reaction from Ferb. Pulling away from the red haired, Ferb smiled and rested his head on the smaller boy's head.

"Still mad at me?" Ferb asked.

"I wasn't mad at you in the first place." Phineas smiled up shyly at the green haired Brit.

"Maybe not mad but you were panicking," Ferb stated.

Phineas gave a small laugh, turning his head to the side still resting against Ferb answering, "Well, yeah but you knew that I..."

Ferb saw the second rant coming through and cut him off short quickly, capturing his lips with his own once more in a sweet kiss.

Parting Ferb breathed "I know Phin. I know."

Phineas instinctively pressed his body up against Ferb's, snuggling into his neck but catching something with his leg as he did so. Ferb let out a low moan and his head fell back slightly. Phineas smirked and moved his leg again, gently, making the older one let out another moan.

"Phineas." Ferb breathed.

Just as Ferb had gotten used to the applied pressure from the smaller boys' leg, it was taken away followed by the sound of footsteps.

Ferb opened his eyes to see Phineas over near one of their dressers, picking up his dinner/supper tray and taking it over to his bed still smirking slightly.

"Oh is that how it is?" Ferb asked sarcastically, mimicking his lovers' movements but leading himself to his own bed.

"Is that how what is?" Phineas replied.

Ferb said nothing and began to pick at his food, placing each piece he brought to his mouth slowly on his lips before allowing his tongue to pull it in.

Phineas's eyes were watching Ferbs' every movement and felt his body tense when he saw his tongue, taking each bit of food into his mouth.

"Ferb?" Phineas said quietly.

It was Ferbs' turn to smirk now, as he knew what he was doing to the younger boy, continuing to eat in this strange and rather sexual way.

Phineas tried to focus on eating his food, but he could barely pull his gaze away from Ferb. Picking at parts of his food, Phineas found himself chewing his lip more than anything else while watching the other boy.

Ferb's smirk didn't fade once and he had to choke back a snigger watching a bright red blush crawl on to Phineas's face.

Noticing the green haired boys smirk, Phineas looked away and continued to eat silently which wasn't something the duo were used to but Ferb knew what was going on.

Eating slightly more normal while Phineas wasn't looking, besides letting out small moans causing his step-brother to either look at him in wonder or turn further away from him in embarrassment.

When Phineas stopped picking at his food, Ferb picked up the trays they had both been using and put them outside the door as Candace had told them to do. Closing the door and turning back round to the orange haired inventor, he saw Phineas hadn't moved and had pulled up his knees to his chest.

Smiling softly, Ferb walked over to Phineas and sat on the edge of the bed making Phineas turn and look at him. Searching Ferb's face for an idea of what he was thinking, he found himself lost in his eyes and swallowed thickly feeling nervous.

Looking to his step-brothers lips and seeing the small smile, a similar one crept onto Phineas's face. He felt at ease seeing Ferb smile, Hell, even being in the same room as Ferb calmed him and it always had.

Crawling over to Ferb, he leant his head against the other boy's shoulder and sighed.

"What's on your mind Phin?" Ferb asked.

Phineas glanced up at the taller one and smiled again before looking at their bedroom door.

"What are we going to tell Candace, Ferb? You know as well as I do that she knows something is up. If she finds out about us…she'll tell mom and this one isn't going to be something she just leaves. Mom will watch us more closely. You know she will. Then we could end up separated! Not just separate rooms but they could really keep us apart Ferb! I can't deal with that! I…" Phineas started to rant before being cut off by Ferb's lips.

The smaller boy melted into the kiss and responded easily.

Breaking the kiss, Ferb spoke softly as he put his arms around his step-brother, "Try not to worry about it for now. We can think of something."

Phineas smiled and snuggled against the other. He knew they would really have to come up with something good to get Candace to leave this alone. She was persistent, even at that moment she was trying to figure out the truth to no avail.

Looking down, Phineas saw Ferb's "problem" hadn't gone away. Ferb followed Phineas's gaze then locked eyes with him.

"We don't have to do anything, Phin." Ferb reassured but Phineas's mind had begun to turn already.

Grinning, Phineas replied, "You talk too much."

Ferb laughed and leant into the kiss Phineas was initiating.
