Chapter 4

Sebastian ran down the corridors, his chest heaving with excitement. He was running soo fast that he almost missed the door that he needed. Opening the door, Sebastian slipped silently into the Dance Hall. Obviously, he had been quiet enough that the tall figure currently dancing had not noticed him.

Claude was humming to himself quietly as he swayed from side to side, his arms grasping around thin air. His eyes were shut tight behind his black streamline glasses. In the back of his mind he could hear faint footsteps, though he chose to ignore it. It was probably Alois or someone.

A sudden pull against his waist made Claude snap out of his daze. Gold eyes met red as Sebastian slipped into the taller boy's firm grip. Sebastian gave Claude one of his signature smirks while he began to sway in time to Claude's steps. The smaller of the boys two fitting their bodies perfectly together, as he pulled Claude closer.

The intimacy Sebastian showed made Claude blink in surprise. He was practically hugging the other man. It was practically a miracle.

"To what do I owe the pleasure?" inquired Claude with a seductive whisper. He just needed to act natural and find out about this pleasant surprise.

"Why should I need a reason for wanting a dance?" Sebastian whispered back. He nuzzled the other boy slightly as he snaked his hands so they rested on the others hips. Sebastian savoured the touch of Claude's well defined body on his through the thin cotton of their school shirts.

Claude lowered his gaze so he saw eye to eye with Sebastian, returning his smirk. "Well, let us dance."

They untangled themselves and assumed a waltz position, with Claude being the lead. They imagined the sound of a slow orchestra in their head as they began to dance around the hall. Their bodies eventually fell into a pattern they started flowing around the floor, like two pillars of silk in the wind.

Sebastian was so caught up in the moment; he didn't notice Claude's hand gently resting on the underside of his knee. Before he could grasp the situation though, Claude had lifted his leg and pulled Sebastian into a dip within a graceful instant.

"Now," demanded Claude with a purr, "Tell me why you are here". Claude's eyes pierced into Sebastian's crimson orbs like amber knives. The slighter boy turned away, trying to hide a blush as the hand supporting his leg snaked round to hold his inner thigh.

"Tell me why you have been so hostile," squeaked Sebastian, afraid of falling on his face. He clung to Claude's shirt so tight it nearly ripped off his support. Till finally, Claude lifted Sebastian back up and righted him so he could finally regain his balance.

"I am not being hostile," the golden eyed dancer said coldly. He did not like this. Something was up.

"No," snapped Sebastian, "You're being over secretive." He was a tad sick of this. No, he was really sick of this. "You don't get hints, you don't talk to people. Hell, you get forced to open up even if it nearly kills you. Well guess what? I love …"

He never got to finish his sentence. In an instant, Claude had grabbed the back of Sebastian's head and kissed him.

Tilting his head downwards, he brought he lips to meet Sebastian's. Soft lips brushed against each other as heat began to seep through and fill both of them. Claude began to slightly deepen the kiss, which Sebastian gave in happily, returning the passion. Claude licked slightly the part of Sebastian's lips with the tip of his tongue. The raven haired boy complied instantly, opening his mouth as Claude suddenly tasted the dark taste of the other. This continued, each satisfying themselves of conveying their emotions until the need for air became apparent.

When they broke apart, Claude looked like he would die of embarrassment and Sebastian was blushing red as a tomato. Yet neither wanted to speak, for fear of breaking the moment. They just stood in the middle of the hall, still entwined.

"I'm sorry," apologized Claude, whispering close to Sebastian's ear.

"Its fine," blurted Sebastian. He gripped Claude's shirt as he felt the other move. "Why didn't you tell me?"

Sebastian's voice was soft enough that Claude almost didn't hear his question. "Why are you whispering?" Claude asked gently. Even though it was only an attempt at lightening the mood, Sebastian's face still seemed to fall into a sad look of heart-ache. "Hey," cried Claude, pulling the raven haired boy back into a hug as he started to slip away. "I was scared. Scared that you didn't love me and you would want to stop being friends. And I was scared that you would just play with my feelings".

Sebastian broke out of the hug and fixed Claude with a stare. He crossed his arms and continued to stare in a way that made Claude want to quiver in a corner. Sebastian though, was managing to keep his poker face, as his feelings jumbled between relief, sadness, annoyance and joy.

Sebastian turned around slowly, and started walking to the door with one hand on his hip. Claude just stared at the ground in disgrace. His head jolted up when he heard a throat being cleared, to see Sebastian at the Hall doors.

"Are you coming, or don't you want to try dating?" came Sebastian's sarcastic question. He flashed a cheeky smile as he turned the door knob. But his smile quickly became genuine as Claude ran over and grabbed his hand, squeezing it slightly before letting it go. As Sebastian opened the door though, he gave a playful shove and ran down the hall, Claude following behind.

A/N: Okay, I'm so sorry this took so long to write. I really hope you liked this chapter, where everything gets good. I must confess I kinda bullshitted the kiss scene, but I am not really sure of how to write them yet as I have only written one other one. If you have any advice, or found something I could fix etc. Feel free to review this. I love all your advice and love that you still read this. Chapter 5 may have a wait as I am at a bit of a block. But I'm open to suggestions. 3 you all!
