Episode 4
Brothers' Quarrel
"Shut up!" Raditz yelled at the wailing Gohan. They had finally arrived at an open field with a few trees and hills surrounding it. This place was where Raditz's ship had landed, which he used to get to Earth.
Gohan whimpered even more, frightened by his sudden anger. "Waah! Let me go! Take me back to my daddy!" he begged and cried.
"Stop crying, you fool," Raditz demanded once more, impatiently grabbing the kid by his yellow coat once again. The young child continued to cry and whine for his father to save him. Raditz had been hearing this for straight ten minutes and he could not get even more aggravated in his life.
"Stop crying," Raditz said once more. He tried to calm himself this time, toning his voice down a little. "You're Kakarot's son, which makes you one of the descendants of the Saiyan race," he almost implied to Gohan that he should remain firm and strong no matter what, but of course, if a very young and helpless boy was taken away from his father by a heartless and cruel Saiyan, why should he not feel this way?
Raditz walked towards the artificial crater his ship had made when it landed. He slid down and moved towards his spherical-shaped pod. Without a care, he threw his nephew inside and closed the door shut, letting Gohan whimper in there all day.
"Wait! Let me out! Don't leave me here! Please, come back!" pleaded Gohan, his tiny hands pounding on the glass window, but his voice was muted due to its sound barrier installed in it.
All of a sudden, Raditz quickly looked at the child, this nephew of his who was just like his own father. He saw his eyes all red, shedding salty tears, that frown of his that was begging him for his mercy, his young, aching, and fragile heart crying out for his father he loved so deeply…
Once again, Raditz unexpectedly felt bothered from within; nevertheless, he ignored the child's pleads. In fact, he ignored all of this, these kinds of emotions, which he strongly believed they showed nothing but weaknesses of the mind.
He flew back to the surface, but as he did so, he almost did not realize that his hands were trembling a little.
He just needed to forget, he thought to himself.
"It would do me good if I can get something to eat around here," Raditz decided.
Just before he went to look for any food he can find, the device on his left eye turned on and it pointed out to him of a power level near-by.
"Hold on. My scouter's telling me there's a power of…710?" apparently, he was quite surprised to have seen this calculation. He read further. "And it's located just fifteen meters away from here?" he tried to looked for where these numbers were coming from, and his device soon led him to where Gohan was.
"What?! That power level is coming from that brat?!" Raditz shouted with disbelief. He wondered why a young boy like Gohan possessed quite a high power level than the average Saiyan kid who is at the same age as Gohan, at least in the lower-class level. Raditz never knew this was possible; he felt a little anxious just thinking about it. In fact, his own strength was 1,200. 710 may not seem much, but considering Gohan is the son of Goku, he could have the same fighting spirit and the same fighting capabilities as his own father, Raditz thought he may need to be careful around him.
However, soon afterwards, Raditz realized he was taking this too seriously, that he was getting too tensed about ridiculous calculations in which he should accept as true? "No, I refuse to believe this. This is just a fluke; must be my stupid device. And I didn't even bring the manual to fix it. Clearly, these numbers I'm seeing are just a bunch of lies. My scouter must be broken."
Raditz went on with his search for food. Not too long, he found some fruits such as pears and apples from trees and for a special treat, he found a wild animal lingering around. It was natural for him to eat raw animals from time to time. It was a part of a Saiyan's diet; therefore, it was normal to him where one could say this was very abnormal.
Raditz ate the last of his pear, his dessert, filling his stomach. Not too long, his scouter began to calculate numbers again and he was annoyed to find out his device could still be defective since it continued to tell him that Gohan's power level was at an exact 710 still.
Before moving on, Raditz's device picked up another power level. "What is it this time? I'm picking up a 670…no, hold on," when he read further though, his scouter showed him two blinking dots on the screen.
"There are two," Raditz checked. "One is 330 and the other is 340. I checked earlier ago that Kakarot has a power level of 340, but isn't it a little too early for him to come at this time? If he's thinking of getting son back, then he knows perfectly well he has to go through me first! Unfortunately for him, he'll never match up to my power. Ugh, this device is a junk!" he cursed.
With frustration, Raditz was about to turn his device off since it was clearly giving him a headache, but then, his scouter pointed out something to him again and this time, it was serious. He quickly turned to look at the skies above him and his eyes widened to see two figures heading straight towards him. They appeared to be Goku and his unlikely alliance, Piccolo.
He gasped in shock. "What the? Kakarot is here!" right after this discovery, he began to have second thoughts. Now he was staring at his brother's child, Gohan. If his scouter was correct in pinpointing Piccolo and Goku's locations and calculating their power levels with no mistakes, then it must be true for Gohan as well; the truth about this young boy possessing a power level of 710.
However, Raditz refused to believe this still. "This can't be true. A kid, who's a mere weakling and a child of a low-level soldier like Kakarot himself, having a higher power level than his own father? That's impossible!"
Goku and Piccolo quickly made their entrances. Goku had a serious look on his face while Piccolo remained vigilant.
Raditz saw the two. With a serious expression, his eyes shone with malevolence, not a single shed of any understanding to anyone he despised and hated. Soon, he gave a sneer, welcoming them with a dark presence. "Well, you finally came, Brother. I noticed you even brought the green man with you."
The two warriors remained silent.
Raditz scoffed. "So Kakarot, what brings you here? Have you already done what I've asked you to do? If that's the case, then I should commend you."
"I've come to get my son back," Goku firmly stated.
Raditz shook his head in disappointment, presuming his brother was going to say that anyway.
As for Gohan, he was still locked up inside the ship, silently whimpering to himself, pleading that his father would come and rescue him, but after he heard his father's voice, his heart was put to ease and he became excited. He wiped the tears from his eyes. "It's Dad!" he stood up and ran to the small window, knocking on it, hoping his father will hear him.
"You're really testing my patience, Brother," Raditz's anger was mounting in his chest again. "I told you before that you have to eliminate one-hundred earthlings and unite with us. Why can't you just follow orders?!" he questioned him, raising his voice.
"Your orders go against the beliefs of anyone who knows what's right and what's wrong. I don't care about your dreadful choices. The answer is still 'no'!" Goku told him, raising his own voice this time.
"I'm your older brother. You should listen to me," Raditz suggested before he gets hurt.
"Brother or not, I still won't listen to you," Goku defended again, his bravery still within him.
Raditz grimaced. He was tightening his hands, his fingers almost digging into his flesh. The intensity of his hatred for Goku grew so much after hearing his way of words to him, above all. He thought it was completely absurd for him to lose his memories like that. If it were not for that head injury, Goku would be at his side now. Together, they would be conquering planets shoulder-to-shoulder for power and reign just like what all Saiyans had done since the beginning.
"Have it your way then," Raditz told him. "To tell you the truth, I didn't come to this planet to kill you, but what other choice is left for me? It's too bad, Brother. I hope you'll learn your lesson once I give the pain that you deserve."
"All right. I've heard enough talk. You know why we're here," Piccolo cut off their conversation and immediately prepared himself for battle. His only purpose here was to fight and he will do it. He will not delay any more time.
Piccolo started to take off his turbine and cape. He threw his armor on the ground, which made a heavy fall when they touched the soil.
"Wow, Piccolo," Goku reacted in surprise. "I didn't know you wear weighted clothing, too."
"What? You thought you were the only one?" asked Piccolo.
Goku then started to remove some of his weighted clothing as well. He was dressed in this type of uniform usually for training purposes. Its unique design was for the sole purpose of honing his skills and keeping them sharp and refined as well as building the intensity and power of his attacks by adding extra weights on his arms and legs.
Raditz raised an eyebrow, wondering what they were doing.
"These weigh about fifteen pounds," Goku said as he took off his blue undershirt inside his orange shirt. "And these shoes each weigh about fifty," he then said while removing his heavy, blue boots.
Raditz checked their power levels and he reacted to see them increase a little. He wondered how a person could do that without having to go aggressive or power-up.
Goku then removed his blue wristbands, which had always helped him get used to heavy blows as well as enable him to throw swift and effective punches. "That outta do it, Piccolo, unless you can think of something else," Goku joked.
"What am I? Your tailor?" Piccolo joked back.
Raditz checked each of their fighting levels again. "They have risen up to around 400 plus," however, even with these slight increments in their power, Raditz mocked them, thinking there will be no difference anyway. "…feh. You think a few little weights could possibly defeat me?"
Goku and Piccolo were puzzled. Raditz folded his arms and laughed at the fact that he was still a lot stronger still than neither his brother nor his ally.
"What fools you are. It won't affect the result of this fight. I'm still ten times way stronger than you," he declared.
Goku smiled as he was not disappointed at all. He offered him some words of wisdom. "You must know that strength alone cannot beat your opponent. You need to also outsmart your opponent, too."
Raditz just stared at his eyes of innocence. "You have no idea, do you? You know…," the atmosphere then suddenly felt dark and disturbing, even Goku could feel it. This energy came from his older brother. And his brother himself was that energy, which felt dark and disturbing.
He had finally made a decision of what to do with Goku. He cannot take this nonsense anymore, this brother of his who had disappointed him for far too long, who he believed had brought upon dishonor to their Saiyan race. If he did not want to become the killer Saiyan he wanted him to be, then he had no other choice, but to punish him.
"There's no use of you joining us anymore. For someone who's a complete fool to forget who he was since the day he was born, you're truly a low-class," Raditz then suddenly exploded and yelled. "You're a disgrace to our Saiyan race, Kakarot! It's time to settle this!"
Goku was not at all intimidated by him, which showed his courage was truly unyielding. "I don't care what you say about me! And my name is not Kakarot for the last time," he hated hearing that name over and over again. It felt like it was an insult to him instead. "My name's Goku. Now tell me, where is my son?!" he demanded.
Raditz paused for a moment. He smirked again. "Fine, I'll let you see him for a few seconds before you perish. He's right over there; at the very bottom of that deep crater," he moved his head slightly to the left.
Goku set his eyes there and soared into the skies, the winds lightly touching his face. He examined the crater closely and there was his trapped son, Gohan, crying out for his help.
"Gohan," Goku murmured. In his heart, he felt even guiltier for letting his son get involved in this predicament. His child did not deserve any of this at all.
Gohan saw his father and he whimpered more. "Daddy! Daddy!"
"Be brave, Gohan!" Goku encouraged him, now teaching him to be strong from the inside, to not let any fear bring him down and to keep on believing that there was always hope at the end. "I'll be right there to set you free. Just hold on!"
After he said these words, he took one last look. He swore that he will make things right and set everything back to the way they should be. He finally settled back to the battlefield and eyed his evil brother.
Raditz stood tall and firm, his strength within him ready to be released and use it to make his own brother vanish from this world. "So, shall we settle this?"
"If you insist," Goku replied seriously, his own power prepared to take wing and use it to bring his enemy down for good.
Without any more delay, their battle immediately commenced. Raditz proceeded striding towards the two valiant alliances. He walked first and then, he slowly increased his speed every second. Soon, he was running towards his opponents. Goku and Piccolo were ready to make their moves and detect his movements any time.
Goku was the only who felt more anxious than anyone in the battlefield. This was the first time he encountered such a very strong warrior in years. He was facing it now and in such a short amount of time. For now, he had to rely on his instincts, on his current strength and state of mind, mentally praying for power and bravery to overcome Raditz and set his son, Gohan, free.
"HYAH!" Piccolo and Goku shouted simultaneously while boosting their energies. They sprinted towards Raditz, prepared to take him on.
Piccolo and Goku's distances slowly spread apart and, with haste, teleported in front of the running Raditz and opted to give quick, sharp roundhouse kicks to his face. Shockingly, Raditz vanished out of sight before their legs could hit him. Before they knew it, their foe was already behind them. He gave them two elbow strikes on their backs, sending instant pain in their bodies. Goku twitched, but he regained his balance. He gracefully did a back-flip and landed with his two feet. Piccolo though needed to work on his reflexes since he almost lost his footing.
"Woah, he's fast!" Goku exclaimed.
Piccolo got up from his knees. "This might be harder than I thought."
Raditz smirked. "Come and get me, fools."
Once again, Goku and Piccolo charged towards him, giving another battle yell to boost their strengths. Raditz stood there with a sneer on his face, preparing himself for their next attacks. Trying to outsmart their enemy, Goku and Piccolo gave key-chained moves, blocking every opportunity that may allow their enemy to counterattack them. The two had their own style of fighting and power, which, they hoped, may help them gain advantage over their enemy's speed. To their frustrations, Raditz swiftly avoided their every move. He was hardly even breathing! Piccolo and Goku persisted to keep their attacks coming, but neither of them could hit the cunning Raditz even once. After many struggling tries, Raditz jumped out of the way, flying high into the clear skies with Goku and Piccolo vigilantly following him.
The sun's rays were shining on Raditz's back, making his own aura vivid and clear, which told his opponents his power was dangerously increasing. He immediately gathered enough energy to form a move called "Double Sunday."
"Heh, heh, RARGH!" Raditz launched two violet identical beams, which emerged from his palms. The two ravaging energy waves shone the entire battlefield as they dangerously made their way towards Goku and Piccolo.
As for the two allies, they were shocked to see Raditz's unbelievable speed and power. The two beams came to them fast, but Goku was lucky to dodge them in time; however, for the other energy beam that was intended to hit Piccolo, he was so close in escaping it.
Goku landed with his two feet with a relieved look on his face, but he knew this was just only the beginning.
"Phew, that was close," he wiped the sweat from his face. He then turned to Piccolo and noticed a lot of blood from his companion's left arm. "Piccolo!"
The beam completely ate up Piccolo's arm. It was really drenched in blood and Piccolo could not use his left arm at all.
"Piccolo, your arm!" Goku said, concerned. He was a bit disgusted by the looks of it though.
Piccolo held his bleeding left arm while keeping a calm expression. He will not deny this unimaginable pain that almost consumed both his body and conscious, but that will not stop him from continuing to fight. "Don't mind about me, Goku. This is nothing."
Raditz saw this and he laughed so hard, thinking it was hilarious. "Oh, such a pity! Guess my powers were too much for you, wasn't it, green man? Hah, hah!"
Piccolo growled, irritated at his insult. Raditz then stopped laughing and readied himself again for his opponents' next attacks.
"Hey, Piccolo, I'm sure by now, you have some kind of a plan up in your sleeves," Goku said with a tiny smile, somehow knowing what he was thinking. He knew Piccolo had some kind of technique before that he rarely shows to any of his opponents. Goku could remember, it was a very efficient move, but he had not done it in so many years, yet it could dramatically change the outcome of this fight.
Piccolo thought about what he said and indeed, he had a plan.
Goku listened while kept his eyes on Raditz.
"Try to distract him for as long as you can. I'm going to prepare a special move no one has ever dodged before. And I bet Raditz won't either. It would buy me some time though so just give it all you got until I'm ready," Piccolo said, getting straight to the point with their plan.
Goku understood him. "Gotcha, Piccolo. Hyah!" he then went to his fighting stance.
Raditz grinned, seeing his brother opting to fight him solely this time. "So my brother's not giving up, huh? Heh, come at me then."
"Here it comes! HYAH!" Goku headed towards him at full speed. After he took a giant step forward, he appeared in front of his enemy as if he performed a super dash. From there, he gave various hand techniques: quick jabs, heavy punches, and striking palm strikes. Raditz was able to sidestep every move of his brother, but Goku did not give up so easily. He knew he needed to save his son and this kept him motivated to reach for his goal.
As for Piccolo, he began to prepare for his special technique, which he claimed no one has able to dodge before. He took his middle and index finger and placed them on his forehead. He slowly, but surely acquired all the energy his body can provide him to convert this into a vigorous and impenetrable attack that will surmount Raditz. His fingers started to light up.
"Hyah! Kyah! HYAH!" Goku shouted after every punch and kick. He did consecutive blows with sudden sharp kicks, following with skillful hand techniques and flexible foot works, his attacks distracting Raditz to the best of their abilities.
Raditz laughed as he still avoided his brother's every move. The more he avoided, the more he was tiring his opponent out. "Hah, hah! It's useless!"
Goku imputed energy from his body to his right fist and skillfully, aggressively delivered a punch to his stomach, leaving trails of winds and a spark of white aura behind. "HYAH!"
The brash Raditz was finally caught. He instantly stopped when he felt that punch, which left pain on his entire abdomen. He was quite shocked.
Raditz's head was down, both his mind and body recovering from this sudden interference, this hindrance which showed Goku was slowly measuring up to him. But when he looked up, anger was written on his face. "Why you…!"
Goku knew he must follow with another attack, but it was too late as Raditz disappeared in the blink of an eye before he could even track him down. Goku tried to sense his energy and soon, his senses led him to look from behind, but the moment he set his eyes on him, Raditz's fist was already drawn back.
"Hyah!" he threw his punch straight at him along with an axe and front kick, sending Goku high into the skies.
Goku tried to regain his balance, but Raditz appeared above him and did a falling kick to his back, sending his struggling brother to the surface again. Goku was falling fast to the ground, straining to get his focus back. The pain was overwhelming, but that did not stop him from continuing to move forward. Just when he was about to touch the surface, he extended his arms and with his palms, he bounced himself right back into air again.
Raditz resurfaced, but missed his chance to attack his brother. "He's persistent," he said.
The winds went against Goku's back as he soared higher into the firmaments. While keeping his eyes locked onto his older brother, he positioned his hands together and gathered an immense amount of energy from his body. Faint, sapphire-colored waves began to glow from the center of his palms.
Raditz's scouter immediately reacted to Goku's increasing potential.
Goku started to chant the words, this special move of his that had always helped him in battles. It was the first technique h learned when he was a child and so, he understood the full extents of its valuable capabilities. "Ka-me…!"
Raditz stepped forward and he could not believe what he was reading on his device. "What is this?! His power level's sky rocketing. It's now at 950!"
"-ha…!" Goku's hands were glowing more vividly.
"How?! I've never seen a person concentrating his energy into one spot!" Raditz fretted. He had never witnessed this kind of tactic before. He only knew how to brawl and fight while increasing his power through nothing but anger and aggression. He guessed this what Goku meant about outsmarting his opponents.
"-me…!" Goku's aura immediately expanded and enclosed him while the rays of his technique shone more intensely than ever before. Inside his closed hands, there resided a vibrant sphere of brilliance.
Raditz watched with worry to notice his strength constantly rising. To add more to his worries, his scouter detected another high power level not too far away from where he was standing. He turned around and saw Piccolo whose power was multiplying as much as Goku's.
"His strength's also increasing. It's over a 1,000 now and it's still going up," Raditz scowled.
Goku's intensive attack flared, lights spinning and dancing in the skies. A sphere of pure energy can be seen from the inside of his closed fists. Finally, he drew his hands forward and released an energetic, potent beam, which quickly illuminated the battle zone.
"-HA!" Goku yelled vigorously with great strength, discharging his Kamehameha wave from his bare hands. It quickly locked its target onto Raditz.
Raditz turned around and his eyes grew wide to see the Kamehameha approaching him rapidly. He may not have the ability to sense the technique's strength, but he could tell that its power could have equaled his own strength now, which can inflict some damage to him. He ran as fast as he could to avoid his brother's move until he can find a way to cancel it. Goku though was thinking clearly ahead. Risking some energy from his body, he maneuvered his Kamehameha wave in whichever direction he wished to guide it, and thus, whichever direction Raditz was heading off to, Goku's Kamehameha will follow him.
To them both, exerting so much stamina and energy made them feel time was taking too long to let them reveal who will triumph at the end. At last, Raditz stopped, deciding to confront the powerful wave himself.
"Enough of this!" Raditz now had his hands together, greatly increasing his defense to cancel his brother's technique. Once the attack came in contact with his hands, it woke a huge explosion, revealing how powerful it was. Brighter lights spread everywhere, completely illuminating the battlefield.
Seconds later, Goku's Kamehameha vanished into thin-air, its incredible might had already worn off. Already, Goku was breathing heavily as he had put forth much effort into that attack. He wondered if he was able to stop Raditz or at least weakened him enough in order to somehow gain advantage over this fight. Unfortunately, Goku was shocked to find his evil brother was still standing.
He saw him behind the grey haze. He had a few wounds and bruises on his body, but that was about it. Goku shook his head and asked fretfully, "He canceled it out. Darn, what am I supposed to do now?"
Raditz's entire body was trembling, and he was aggravated to know he had been inflicted some damage to him. He may have underestimated his brother a little after all. "That really hurt, but quite impressive actually," however, this dark and sinister feeling began to surround him again. It indicated to Goku that he was far from being defeated yet.
Goku quietly gasped in fright.
"Brother, I'll show you how it's done!" Raditz shouted as he tightened his right hand. Seconds' later, it quickly blazed of his own aura and with terrifying haste, an almost transparent, electrifying, violet blast was released from his palm and it headed straight towards Goku.
A light suddenly flashed, Goku could barely anticipate what his enemy just did. Once Goku set his eyes on his brother, he was unexpectedly struck and he felt severe pain consuming his body. He was heavily pushed back and blown away.
"Augh!" Goku quickly fell to the ground. He had never felt this kind of pain before in his life. Any other fighter would have given up already at this time after getting a taste of a warrior's power, which came from a supreme, merciless race, but Goku was not the kind of person who will give in yet. Injuries and wounds may be plaguing his body, but his indomitable spirit always reminded him to keep pressing on. He must free his son and also save the people in this world before Raditz could get his way instead.
Unfortunately, Goku just did not have the right strength to match up to his brother. He knew every time he was being hindered back, his home planet was quickly falling to a cruel ending. He must find a way to turn the tables around, but he just did not know how.
As for Raditz, he did not stop yet with his torture. He flew to where his brother fell and grabbed him by his shirt, his fist readying for a punch until his scouter detected a familiar power level again. He let go of his brother and turned around to see Piccolo whose aura enclosing him was sparking, his veins were becoming visible to one's eyes. Raditz could almost see his power going up the roof.
"Now!" Piccolo intimidated his foe. He was finally done with his ultimate move and now, he was ready to release it and conclude this battle.
Raditz could not believe in these numbers he was reading. He was shocked to know that Piccolo's strength was actually able to exceed his."His power level is at…1,500?! I can't block that!" he exclaimed.
"Have it! Special Beam Cannon!" Piccolo finally fired his petrifying technique from his two fingers; a thin, yet treacherous laser beam along with another beam coiling the first one was launched towards his enemy.
The place became bright once more as shafts of light from the Special Beam Cannon blanketed the skies. Raditz eyes grew wide with terror, his mind almost paralyzed by intense fear.
In just half a second, a blinding light blinked through the screen and shattered pieces of an armor flew to different directions. The dangerous cannon went on and demolished one of the mountains in the background, destroying half of it.
BOOM!
The rays flickered for a little while before they calmed down. Soon, the place returned to normal again. Goku saw what happened, and now, he was waiting anxiously for any strange sightings or unusual sounds that could mean danger.
However, Piccolo was confident of himself, thinking he had defeated Raditz once and for all. There was no fighter in the world that would have been able to escape and survived that, he believed.
When the grey fog in front of him slowly fainted, Piccolo became curious to notice a strange and shadowed figure standing on his legs and it was breathing very heavily.
"…what?!" Piccolo and Goku shouted.
To everyone's shock, Raditz still remained.
Piccolo sweated and could feel his entire body shaking. The reputation of his perilous Special Beam Cannon had finally been broken by this ruthless villain. He was beginning to realize the full extents of a Saiyan's power and he must admit that this almost frightened him.
"He dodged it fa-faster than th-the speed of light," he stammered.
Although the speed of his super attack was equal to the speed of light, Piccolo managed to cut through Raditz's left shoulder plate and wounded his left shoulder. The pain stung very much and there was blood pouring out from it.
Raditz bit his lip, his body fidgeted a little, but it meant almost nothing to him. He was relieved he was still standing. In fact, he was actually getting quite excited about their match, like what all Saiyans felt whenever they fought in battles.
"Impressive. You could've taken me out if it were a hit," Raditz stated.
"Darn, all for nothing!" Piccolo growled. He acknowledged that he had drained a significant amount of energy into that attack of his, and to find out that his efforts were futile, there was no denying that he and Goku were in for some serious trouble now.
Goku gave a frightened look. This battle was not over yet. They still had long ways to go. How long it will take just to beat this enemy, he had always wondered since the beginning.
Raditz folded his arms, his face giving another look. He closed his eyes for a moment and opened them. He thought it was time to reveal to them the truth he had been hiding all along.
And this truth will definitely put Goku and Piccolo into a dire situation.
"Hmph. You both actually did a great job. I'm quite impressed. I actually have to try a little especially to you, Brother. You somehow prove yourself worthy of a Saiyan…well, at least when it comes to fighting," Raditz said.
Goku remained silent.
"Heh," suddenly, Raditz gave them a more terrifying look. "Did you know that all this time I was just testing both of your strengths?"
"Huh?" Piccolo and Goku reacted, feeling their stomachs had twisted into knots.
Raditz was agog to see those expressions on their faces. "That's right. Keep that fear in your eyes. As you can tell, I haven't reached my full power yet. I'm just getting warmed up."
"No!" Goku cried. He refused to believe what he just said, but the truth cannot be denied.
Goku and Piccolo were traumatized to hear this. Raditz was toying with them all along and they were already struggling. Think about how much struggle and pain they have to endure if Raditz were to get serious, if he unleashed his maximum power without holding back. Piccolo and Goku's minds went blank and could only think of one thing.
Goku tightened his fists with worry, but also with silent anger. He was desperately trying to come up with the right plan and strategy to defeat his dark brother, Raditz.
