"Search for any clues of a break in. But be sure to not overlook anything, we have little to nothing of clues so we need every bit we can get." Rouge stated to Blaze who opened Silver's door. The pair had made it to Silver's home as fast as they could and made it there in record time. Rouge had silently noticed how upset Blaze was and she felt sympathy for her. This impostor ordeal is just eating her up inside.

"I agree...I'm so worried though, I'm worried for Silver- I hope he's okay." Blaze muttered, her fists clenched. "I want to make that impostor pay and have this be over already." Blaze stood inches away from the inside of the home, she couldn't go in there knowing that the real Silver wouldn't be in there. Angry that she hadn't said anything. And distraught because her brother in all but not blood was missing.

"Hey. Listen to me." Rouge waved a hand in front of her gold eyes, gaining Blaze's attention. Rouge gave a comforting look to Blaze. Her teal eyes softened when she saw that Blaze was shaking, "We will find him, it's only been two days. I swear we'll find him. You hear me?" Rouge opened her arms up in a hug and Blaze awkwardly accepted it before relaxing. "You okay now?"

"Yes, thank you Rouge. It's starting to wear me down. But- you're right. We'll find him." They pulled away from the hug with Blaze giving Rouge a small thankful smile.

"No problem hun," Rouge said. "Now let's get back to looking." The two walked into the dark house with Rouge in the front and Blaze tailing her. Their shoes made loud tapping noises against the floor each time they took a step. To Blaze's utter dismay, it was no surprise that anything hadn't been touched or bothered since when she came by hours earlier. Blaze felt disquieted and agitated once again. She sighed and moved in front of Rouge to turn on the lights to illuminate the entrance hall.

"Think positive and keep a level head, if we stay calm and logical we will find him in no time and reveal who that impostor really is." Rouge's words did little to sooth Blaze this time.

Blaze walked around gloomily, though she did keep alert to anything that looked even remotely off, Blaze silently walked through his kitchen and found nothing, so she went to the living room looking for clues. Rouge had split up and walked deeper into the missing hedgehog's home, scoping out his bedroom. The ivory bat turned the light switch on, only for the light switch to flicker on and off then completely shut off.

Rouge rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue, she'll just have to use the light peering in from outside the room to see. She noted his messy bed, random comic books, and a pair of torn up gloves lying on the ground with specks of dark red.

Her eyes lit up with grim interest, bloodied gloves that belonged to a missing Silver and an impostor with an agenda and plan that includes Sonic and most likely Shadow as well. Rouge concluded that Silver may have been attacked and kidnapped, though just how did they become so identical to him? Rouge wished she didn't have to tell Blaze about this unpleasant news but she knew she had to.

Suddenly Rouge heard shuffling, it was so quiet that if she had normal hearing she wouldn't have heard it at all. There was someone else in the room with her, walking quietly away. She heard the person walking hardly two feet away from her. Swiftly Rouge turned and swept her leg under the perpetrators legs and knocked them to the floor. The person groaned and sprawled out onto the floor and the little amount of light illuminated their dazed face.

To her surprise it was-
