A/N: This chapter might be shorter than the others, we'll see. I got the furniture design from Purple-Sherlock-1985's story Harriett Potter: What it is to be a witch.

Chapter 4 Platform Nine and Three-Quarters

The last month has gone by so fast and before they knew it, it was time for school. Helena was happy to be going back to Hogwarts because she was finally going to start applying herself and she was claiming the Gryffindor heir suite. She wasn't going to be sharing a dorm with anyone. She's had her trust thrown back in her face countless times, she wasn't going to take that chance again.

"Cub, are you packed?" Remus asked from the doorway. Helena had banned anyone from entering her bedroom because she was still a little angry and her friends had a habit of trashing everything and never cleaned up after themselves. Her bedroom was too pretty to let anything damage it.

Helena had purchased a new sleeping post for Hedwig. It was made out of a glossy wood in a similar color to the flooring. It even had food and water bowls attached to it. She placed newspaper down to catch her droppings.

The walls had a glittery sheen and colored pale plum and cerulean blue. The floorboards were made of glossy cherry oak and had a black border all the way around the edge, while a square shaped rug in colors dark purple and pale blue that a floral pattern took up most of the floor at the foot of the bed. The furniture was white and in a style straight out of the mid to late seventeenth century, around the era of King Louie XV of Versailles, France.

The bedspread, pillows, throw and shams, two boudoir cushions, valance sheet, and long full-length curtains matched. They were dark plum with a pale green and pale blue stripe and had a big metallic lilac floral pattern. The ceiling painted dark ivory and had Artex in a figure eight pattern and a fanned rose pattern around the light fixture. The lighting consisted of a five light plum colored glass and metal chrome.

The bed was big enough to fit three fully-grown people in it. It was a 7ft sleigh bed, hand carved from solid mahogany wood and hand polished and finished to a beautiful satin patina. The design is from the Louis XV era of French furniture circa 1745 and had scrolled ends and delicately carved. It was not a double or even a king it was emperor sized.

When Helena first saw it, she nearly swooned at the sight of the quadruple armoire that had full-length mirrors and solid doors inlay made from solid mahogany wood, hand polished and finished to a beautiful satin patina in French white. The design is from the same era as the bed and other matching furniture. She could tell it was an authentic reproduction. It had center full hanging, and side drawers providing what she knew would end up being great storage space.

She had a matching three-mirror dressing table that had three small draws. There was even a stool and a unit with a set of six draws, a side table with also two draws and even a bookcase with two lower draws and had three layer shelves and two doors. It was all French white mahogany and hand polished to a beautiful satin patina just like everything else.

Sirius clearly didn't spare any expense for her bedroom.

Helena's bathroom was also a work of art. It had an antique white colored double vanity made of wood that had solid cream marble counter-top and two round under-mounts white porcelain sinks. The two sets of taps were made of antique brass that had a coppery hue; while above the taps were two large identical oval-shaped mirrors. The detailing on the wood and the handles were stunning and brass colored leaves with what appeared to be fans. There were four cupboard doors under the sink with four smaller draws stacked in the middle of the cupboards.

The tub was big enough for three people and had jets on all sides. Both the tub and shower stayed warm even when the temperature was chilly at night. It was heavenly.

Everything in the bathroom matched. Vintage copper-colored robe hooks side by side of the other on a wall covered in luxurious and glossy Mocha colored marble effect ceramic titles that had a natural stone effect and, noticed that even the floor had the same matching tiles.

The toilet holder, towel rail, shower caddy and glass shelf that were secured to the wall were all made of the same vintage style and copper color. Even the toilet brush and toilet handle were even made of the same vintage copper color and style. The toilet was cream colored the same shade as the tub. It was 1940 – 1950's style toilet and had simple embellishments on the tank lid and bowl base.

Helena especially liked how the ceiling painted pure white and had an Artexed pattern of fans. She would even go as far as to say she liked the design more so than the one on her bedroom ceiling. She had never really seen Artex before Petunia had hated it so it was never used or seen in Privet Drive, but that would change she would see to that, putting Artex up in Private Drive would give her immense pleasure considering how much her aunts hates it.

To top it all off, both rooms had a light clapper installed.

"Yes, I'm all packed," she said smiling as she shrunk her trunk and placed it in her purse. She was wearing a light pink skirt, a grey long-sleeved shirt, and pink heels. She was also wearing a pink necklace with a matching purse. Her hair was in a french braid pinned to the right side of her head with her bangs framing her face.

She read in her wizarding etiquette book that only a witches husband or family may see her with her hair down. She also read that a witch only wore five rings in her lifetime. An heiress ring, Lady ring, betrothed ring, engagement ring, and wedding ring. Helena could honestly say she loved those traditions.

From the books she's read, she couldn't understand why Dumbledore and his people were trying to make the wizarding world another muggle world. She liked things as they are. But she didn't like that they couldn't celebrate the wizarding holidays. They've either been banned or changed to fit the muggle world.

Their holidays are Imbolc, Beltane, Mabon, Samhain, and Yule. They've all been banned aside from Samhain and Yule. They've been changed to Halloween and Christmas.

Imbolc was a sacred day for both the Light and Dark. It's a celebration of life and rebirth. Celebrating the wellbeing of magic in the crops and babies. It's a renewal of life, energy, and strength. It's also a ritualized purification baths and celebratory bonfires.

Beltane is in May and it's a ritual for health, fertility, and prosperity. It involves ritualistic sex. It's the only thing about the holiday that Helena doesn't like but she would never judge other people who participate in it willingly. She mainly participate's in the blessing of the fields of Lady Magic and her ancestors.

Monbon is in September, it's a welcoming of the Dark. Recognizing that life is a cycle and that Death is a natural part of life. The night is as necessary as Day. Winter lets the Earth rest in preparation for the coming Summer.

Their holidays were a part of what made them special. It was part of being either a witch or a wizard.

When they got to the Platform, Helena didn't waste any time of saying goodbye before going to find a compartment. She was still a little mad at everyone so she locked the door and pulled down the shades. She would only open the door for Draco when she felt him get closer. He's the only one she's not angry at.

When she felt him getting closer to her compartment, she unlocked the door and opened the shades. It didn't take him long to enter her compartment.

"How are you sweetheart?" he asked as he kissed her cheek.

"I'm hiding from my friends. I'm still upset with them," she said as she took one of the protein journals from her purse.

"Why? What happened?" he asked frowning.

"They ignored me all summer, even after knowing what I witnessed in the graveyard," she explained while she gave him the journal.

"Let me guess because Dumbledore told them too," he stated as he tried to hide the rage in his eyes. He couldn't understand why they treated Helena like that but they wouldn't like school this year. He was going to get payback for her. No one upset his soulbonded and got away with it.

"Yes. Apparently, they think he's god. Anyway, that journal is keyed to mine. If you drop some blood on it, no one aside from you will be able to read it. I thought it would be easier than writing letters all the time," she explained.

"Thank you," he said smiling.

"Your welcome," she said blushing as he kissed her cheek.

A few hours later, they were almost to Hogsmeade Station so she had him leave so she could change.
