This is an extra to the last chapter. Also just letting you know that in some chapters Zelda and Sheik are the same person and in some they're separate characters. It's different possibilities and timelines, some timelines they're just not the same person... hope that makes sense? Hope you stick around for more!

An Alternate Ending: Trust: Their Lost
He could only watch. His arms were frozen by his side, his chest weighted down by the pure horror he felt.
The barbarians were only seen as blurs in his eyes. Their unidentifiable masses had no meaning to him, compared to the corpse that hung in front of him.
The rope supporting the body finally gave into the pressure of gravity, that was pulling it towards the solid ground and snapped, taking the cadaver with it.
Before he could even register what he was doing, he was kneeling before what remained of her crisped body. He carefully grabbed her right hand, which seemed to be untouched during the whole event.
However, when he did, her hand glew a brilliant yellow. The emblem of the Triforce shone faintly through her wrapped hand. Desperately Link unraveled the hand, praying that what he saw was only his eyes playing games on him, but he knew that idea was fatal. There he kneeled, his eyes dreadfully eyeing the Triforce of Wisdom on her hand.
The seven years war has come to a conclusion. Without the knowledge the princess held, Link would be at a lost. The king of darkness, who held the legendary Triforce of Power, won the long wait. The Hero of Time failed to protect his princess… his lover.
They have failed.
