Disclaimers: As much as I may want to claim ownership of these two productions, I can't because both Harry Potter and One Piece belong to a whole lot of different companies that I can't remember the names of at the moment. Any characters that appear in this fic that are not a part of either original series, belong to me so don't take them without asking first.
Timeframe: The Harry Potter part of the storyline in the prologue takes place the summer before the start of Harry's second year at Hogwarts; while the One Piece part of the prologue takes place twenty-four years before the series starts, making Harry to be in his early thirties when he returns, while only two years have gone by back home in the Harry Potter universe. I'm also making it so that Harry and everyone he would have known in Hogwarts in his first year are all born in the 1990's instead of the 1980's.
Author's Notes: Okay, so to clarify things, thanks to Dobby, Harry gets sent to the One Piece world during the summer before Harry's second year at Hogwarts, with amnesia and has been deaged a few years. He gets found by Whitebeard and joins his crew, and thanks to his amnesia is renamed Marco, and later gets the Mythical Phoenix Zoan Devil Fruit just like canon Marco did.

Orchamus - Thanks! I'm glad that you liked it. As for having the Phoenix devil fruit destroy the horcrux I thought it was a good idea. I mean what was the point of becoming a phoenix if he can't unintentionally 'cure' himself of the darkness that resides inside his scar? The way I see it, he had his first death/burning day the day he ate his devil fruit caused by the Horcrux being expelled by his newfound phoenix powers which was also reacting badly to the seal Dobby placed on Marco's magic when he sent him away, as the reason he was in so much pain as well. lol As for Robin not coming along when he got dragged back, I think you missed something, because Robin, as well as the rest of the crew and the SHIP, all got dragged along with Harry/Marco when he got pulled back home by the summoning spell, because he refused to let go of the ship's railing when he was disappearing. So the summoning spell compensated by automatically expanding itself and took everybody instead of simply giving up on taking Harry/Marco alone. lol
TheBlackSeaReaper's & Guest's Harry Potter-One Piece crossover Challenge #102 idea - Little is known about Marco's past, before he was Marco he was Harry Potter but because of an accident in the summer after the first year of school, and before the beginning of the chamber of secrets, he was teleported by his magic to the one piece world. Losing his memory Harry becomes Marco.
Requirements:
-sent before the chamber of secrets and returns to the goblet of fire
-returns to the one piece world before Ace's execution
-after returning to the wizarding world he retains his powers
-Dumbledore bashing and Molly Ron and Ginny bashing
Word Count: 11,474
Summary: (OP!HP crossover) What if, Harry Potter disappeared the night Dobby came to warn Harry from returning for his second year at Hogwarts? After witnessing how the Dursley's treated Harry, Dobby used his magic to send Harry far away from everything to keep him safe from both the Dursley's and Voldemort and gives him a chance to start over elsewhere. ======================================
-~Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, October 23, 2006-~
Albus Dumbledore sat in his throne like chair surveying the great hall as it filled up with students from both Hogwarts and the visiting schools known as Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, as his eyes sadly scann4ed over the Gryffindor table where he could see the lions chatting animatedly amongst themselves, as he sighed unhappily as he once more saw the recurrent absence of one particular student, known as Harry James Potter, who had been missing for the last three years.
It's been over three years since the disappearance of one Harry James Potter, when the boy had mysteriously disappeared from his relative's home during the summer after his first year at Hogwarts. The boys disappearance had been the talk of the wizarding world for the last three years, as the ministry spared no expense trying to locate the boy with no luck so far in their search.
'How could things have gone so wrong? I had everything planned out to the fullest. If those blasted Dursleys hadn't over reacted the way they did,' Albus thought furiously to himself silently as he kept up his grandfatherly smile as he spoke to Professor McGonagall when she asked him about that nights activates, as he assured her that everything would be going as scheduled once dinner was finished for the night, 'Harry wouldn't be missing right now, and would still be right here in Hogwarts where he belongs under my watchful eye, so that I may guide him to his destiny in defeating Lord Voldemort.'
Albus had been out of the country on a trip for the Wizemagot when Harry had gone missing, so he didn't know anything was amiss until he returned to Hogwarts a few weeks later to find his office nearly destroyed, and it hadn't taken him long to discover the source of the destruction was the monitoring charms that were tied to young Harry had been destroyed. All of the trinkets he had tied to Harry had blown up, except for one. The only one still working, allowed him to know if Harry was still alive or not, and it was still spinning around happily which was a good sign as far as he was concerned.
Quickly apparating to #4 Privet Drive, Albus had quickly made his way up the walkway towards the front door of the Dursley home, and rang the doorbell, and when Petunia Dursley had seen him outside she had tried to slam the door in his face, and refused to let him in to talk, but a quick wave of his wand had the front door swinging open as he let himself in to find the entire family home, and forced the Dursleys to sit down and talk with him about where Harry was.
-~Flashback – Three years ago-~
The muggles had been reluctant to tell him the truth at first, but a quick legilimency first on Petunia showed him all he needed to know, as he witnessed what happened to Harry the night they had last seen him, as he witnessed the botched dinner party and Harry getting blamed, before the boy had rushed upstairs, just as ministry owl arrived to deliver the traditional underaged magic warning letter, that had Vernon Dursley storming upstairs, while Petunia tried to clean up the mess that had made, when Albus' heart nearly stopped as he heard the sound of Harry's voice screaming in pain from upstairs, along with Vernon's voice shouting at Harry, but to his shock Petunia didn't rush upstairs to see what was going on upstairs.
Feeling rage fill him as he realized what was happening upstairs, Albus was about to pull out of Petunia's mind to go into Vernon's mind to find out exactly what the man had done to Harry, when his eyes widened in shock as he heard a loud voice booming out the words, "YOU WILL NOT HARM HARRY POTTER!" causing Petunia to rush to the foot of the stairs in time to see her husband being thrown out of the room that must have been Harry's seconds before the door slammed shut behind the obese man, who staggered to his feet and rushed at the door and was pounding on the door and cursing up a storm as he tried to get back into the room. The other man had continued on that for a few minutes as Petunia and their son Dudley came upstairs to find out what was going on, just as Vernon was starting to ram the locked door with his full weight when the door suddenly slid open, causing Vernon to fall flat on his face into a now empty bedroom that with no sign of Harry or whoever had saved him from Vernon's abuse anywhere as far as either Petunia or Albus could see.
Confusion as well as anger filled him as he finally pulled himself from Petunia's mind as he turned his full attention on Vernon, and performed Legilimency on the overweight man as well, and once again he felt rage fill him as he saw in full detail what Vernon Dursley had done to Harry Potter the night the boy had disappeared that he wasn't able to get from Petunia's own memories, as he flinched a bit at the sound of Harry's pain filled screams as he was beaten by his uncle, as the boy seemed to be trying to tell his uncle that it hadn't been him who had caused trouble at the dinner party, but the man was too furious to listen to Harry's excuses as he continued pounding on the defenseless boy as Albus could only watch on helplessly since he was only witnessing a memory of a past event.
'I can't believe these bloody muggles! This wasn't how I was expecting them to treat young Harry at all. Just what kind of,' Albus thought silently to himself as he helplessly listened as Harry continued begging and pleading for Vernon to stop, and was trying to deny that what had happened at the party wasn't his fault, but the older man was too enraged to listen to a word the younger boy had to say to him as he continued beating on Harry, 'monster beats up a child like this because of a bout of accidental magic What did Harry mean by 'it wasn't him' who did it? There is no one else on the premises except Harry who could have done it, so who?...'
Wishing he could have helped the boy back then, he was distracted by the sound of the voice he heard earlier shouting at Vernon to not hurt Harry, seconds before Vernon seemingly was grabbed by an invisible force and sent flying out of the room where he hit the wall on the other side of the hallway with a loud thud, just as the door to Harry's door slammed shut, but for a brief second Albus thought he saw what looked to be a house elf standing on the other side of the bedroom door glaring angrily at Vernon just before it slammed shut cutting off Vernon's vision of the bedroom.
'Was that truly a house elf? If so what the blazes was it doing here in the Dursley household? If I can find that elf, I can find out what did it do with Harry so that I may get him back in my custody before the wrong people finds out that he's missing, get him healed up as best as I can,' Albus thought silently to himself as he pulled out of Vernon's mind, as he glared at the now cowering family in anger, as he tried to think of who could have owned the mystery house elf, but couldn't think of any, since he had only seen a brief view of the elf before the door slammed shut, and it wasn't much of a glimpse, 'and salvage the situation and place him back with the Dursleys. It's unfortunate that he's treated so poorly by these muggles, but it's for the greater good of all that he stays with them no matter what. Hopefully young Harry will understand my reasoning one day...'
As the memory continued to play out, Albus watched as Vernon got up off the hallway floor and started pounding on Harry's door again, as he tried to get the door open, but nothing the enraged overweight man did would make the door budge an inch. The pounding seem to go on forever, and as Albus watched, he could swear he saw a strange bright light shine from the other side of the bedroom door that lasted a few seconds before it died down completely just as Vernon started to charge the door in order to try and ram it down, when all of a sudden the door simply slid open just as Vernon connected with it, sending the muggle sprawling to the floor with of the now empty bedroom, with no sign of either Harry or the house elf that had helped him anywhere in sight except for a pool of blood on the floor and the bed sheets of the ratty looking bed in the room was covered in blood as well.
'This doesn't bode well. Who was that house elf, and where did he take Harry? I have to get the boy back no matter what,' Albus thought angrily to himself as he pulled out of Vernon's mind, shaking a bit in both anger and disbelief at what he had just witnessed in the muggles mind, feeling slightly ill because of what he had seen in the other man's mind, as he could feel his anger started to grow by the second as he realized that his plans were now ruined if he couldn't find Harry, 'The poor boy is in danger where ever he is, and whoever that elf belongs to might not be on the Light side. If only I had gotten a better look at it I might have been able to identify it.'
Deciding to put off the matter for now, Albus turned a disapproving glare onto Petunia, causing the horse faced woman to flinch back a bit in fear at the look Albus was directing at her, before she stared right back at him with a defiant look of her own.
"What? What are you looking at me like that for, you freak?!" Petunia demanded angrily as she crossed her arms across her chest as she glared at Albus for a moment.
"I'm very disappointed in you Petunia. I've just looked into each of your minds to see what happened that night and I am appalled by your behaviors towards young Harry!" Albus snapped angrily as he glared at the three cowering Dursleys as they saw the incensed look on his face as he directed it at them, "How can you let this poor excuse of a human being you call a husband do that to your nephew?! Your own sisters' only child and you did nothing to stop what happened?!"
"What do I care what Vernon does to that freak? The brat ruined things for us that night like he's always done ever since you freaks dumped him on us when he was a baby, we never wanted the brat, yet you just dumped him on us and expected what? That we would treat a freak like him as family? As if!" Petunia said with a dismissive sniff, as she tried to ignore the glare Albus was now directing at her because of her words, as she bravely continued on speaking as she met the headmasters glare with one of her own, "The boy had what Vernon did coming to him after what he pulled. Everything was going smoothly for us that night until he snuck downstairs and used his freaky magic to drop that cake on our guests. Vernon was lucky he wasn't fired afterwards because of that brat."
"Do you muggles even realize what you've done?! From what I saw of your memories, Harry was completely innocent of what happened that night." Albus said a bit exasperatedly as his scowl deepened for a moment as he glanced at the three muggles for a moment, and felt proud for a brief moment when he saw the trio flinch back in fear from the anger he knew he must be radiating off his body at that moment, as he glared at each of them for a moment before continuing to speak, "From what I gleamed from Harry's screams as your husband beat him, he was trying to tell you that it wasn't him who ruined your precious dinner. He was innocent of all wrongdoings that night."
"Innocent of all wrongdoings my butt! You freaks even sent bloody a letter warning the brat of his illegal use of underaged magic outside of school and the little freak is the only one in this household can do magic. So who else was it except him especially seeing how the letter we received was addressed to him? I gave him the beating he deserved for ruining all our hard work at impressing my client and his wife!" Vernon thundered angrily as he sat up straighter in his seat as he glared at the headmaster menacingly, though the overweight man restrained himself from attacking the freakish old man, as he saw the rage in Dumbledore's eyes, "I almost lost my bloody job because of the brat's freakish antics that night! Plus what do you mean by 'from what you saw in our memories'?! Is nothing sacred amongst you freaks, that you can't keep your unnaturalness to yourselves and not mind rape decent folks like us?!"
"I will have you know, that young Harry had absolutely nothing to do with your mishaps that particular night, as a gleamed from your memories of that night. There was another one there that night. In fact it was the same person who threw you out on your fat ass, when you were thrown out of Harry's bedroom after you beat him within an inch of his life," Albus snapped back, as he ignored Vernon's rant about him invading his mind, as he took a step towards the trio as he pulled out his wand, and started casting spells around the room as he scanned the room for anything out of the ordinary as he continued speaking "Your home was being visited by a creature known in my world as a house elf, and it was the house elf who threw you out. Harry had even tried telling you that it hadn't been him who ruined your evening, but you took out your rage on a defenseless young boy who was innocent of all wrongdoings that night. From I saw from your memories you caught a very brief glimpse of the culprit just before the bedroom door slammed shut and locked once your were out of the room."
"Like we'll believe that load of rubbish your spewing, you old wanker! I know what happened that night, and there was nobody there except the brat! I don't know how he managed to make his voice sound different as he yelled at me and used his freakish powers to toss me out but I hereby swear," Vernon snapped, as his face purpled in anger as spit flew from his mouth, as he glared defiantly at Albus for a moment, not wanting to back down even an inch, as he crossed his arms over his chest arrogantly, as he forced himself back to his feet and made his way towards the front door as he continued speaking, "I will kill the brat if you dare bring him back here! I don't care what you freaks say. My family's life has been ruined long enough by you freaks, and I refuse to let it stand anymore! If you find the brat, don't bring him back, because as I said before I will kill him myself before I let the likes of him stay here a second longer! We don't need your freaky mojo jojo around here mucking up things for us anymore. Now get the bloody hell out of my home and don't darken my doorstep ever again!"
"We'll deal with the matter of whether or not Harry's returns here when the time comes. It is imperative that he remains here in your home, not just for his safety, but your own as well," Albus said, completely dismissing the muggles threats of planning to kill the boy savior, as he was sure that once he found Harry and brought him back, he would deal with Vernon's attitude then, as he starts making his way towards the front door, while trying to formulate a plan on how he would find Harry if the boy was indeed still alive, "The protection around your home will..."
"Sod off, you old wanker! I don't care about your supposed 'protection'! I won't take the boy back even if you paid me! There's no proof your 'protection' even exists or if its even doing anything at all, yet you expect us to take your word for it and keep the brat in our home after all the trouble he's caused? No thank you," Vernon snapped as he threw open the front door, and practically shoved Albus out the front door with one hand, as he continued to glare at the elderly wizard for a moment as Petunia and Dudley cowered behind his bulky frame, "We'll do just fine without it, and will continue to do so as long as the brat doesn't come back, or else I will make the rest of his days more miserable than ever before I end him. You freaks can deal with your own kind and leave us decent normal people out of your messes."
Without waiting for a reply from the stunned wizard, Vernon slammed the door in Albus's face and locked the door behind him.
~-End Flashback
Once Albus had returned to Hogwarts, he had immediately called in a meeting of all of the Order members, and informed them that Harry was missing. He has also contacted Harry's friends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley to find out if they had heard anything from Harry in the last couple of weeks, and if they knew the boys location.
He had approached Ronald Weasley at the Burrow first, where he had been informed that young Ronald hadn't heard from Harry all summer, despite all of the letters they had been mailing him since school had let out for the summer, but had never received a reply back to any of his letters, and the younger boy was upset to hear that Harry was missing.
Though when he visited the Granger household, he had been shocked to arrive to find a distraught Hermione telling him that Harry's owl, Hedwig had arrived at her house exactly two weeks ago on the night Harry had disappeared, carrying what looked to be a bunch of shrunken items.
When she was asked why she hadn't contacted someone sooner about Hedwig's arrival, Hermione had reminded Albus that she didn't have an owl of her own to use to contact anyone in the magical world, and that Hedwig had refused to leave the household after she had arrived, except to either go hunting for food, and wouldn't deliver any letters no matter how hard Hermione had tried to get her to do so, so Hermione had been planning to wait until school started to confront Harry to find out why Hedwig had showed up at her home, with what appeared to be his school belongings when Albus had arrived to tell her Harry had been missing for the last couple of weeks since Hedwig's arrival.
When Hermione had brought the shrunken to him, Albus could feel his fear and worry escalate as he took in the items, and recognized them instantly as Harry's Hogwarts shrunken trunk with the initials of his name etched onto a plaque on top of the trunks lid, along with what appeared to be the broken remains of Harry's wand, as well as a large bundle of letters tied neatly to the top of the shrunken trunk.
With a quick wave of his wand, Albus enlarged the pile of shrunken items, and gingerly removed the sticking charm that kept the broken wand and letters stuck to the trunk, as he examined each one for a moment, as he sorted through everything in hopes for a sign of where Harry could be but didn't find any, as he cast spell after spell on each item in search of any magical traces of whoever had taken Harry, but whoever had shrunk Harry's belongings had left no recognizable magical signature on any of the items that his spells could trace back to its point of origin.
Upon investigation of the items he had retrieved from the Granger residence, he had discovered that the envelopes that were neatly tied up with twine, and magically attached to the trunk turned out to be all of the missing letters that Ronald Weasley had said he had sent to Harry over the summer that he had never gotten a reply back to, as well as some letters from Hermione Granger and a few other classmates from Hogwarts.
But what really worried Albus was when he saw the broken pieces of what had to be Harry's wand also attached by magic to the top of Harry's trunk, as Albus remembered from what he saw of Vernon Dursleys memories, and remembered seeing the wand snap under the fat man's weight when the oaf had purposely stepped on it as he was beating on Harry.
'This isn't good. Not good at all. Without the trace on the wand, it will make things even harder to find young Mr. Potter, now that my other monitoring instruments are broken. Though I wonder what happened to prevent Harry's letters from going out? Seeing how many letters he had written himself, as well as the letters Mr. Weasley and Ms. Granger had sent out to him, something was preventing the letters from reaching their intended targets,' Albus mused silently to himself as he continued searching through the items before him, as he sadly stared at the broken phoenix wand for a moment before shaking his head sadly at the loss, before a determined look appeared on his features for a moment, 'I'll have to ask Garrick to fashion Harry a brand new phoenix wand, that I can give the boy once he's been found. Hopefully he's safe and sound where ever he is, until then I have to come up with a new plan of action to salvage things if Harry can't be found...'
As he reassured Hermione that everything was going fine with Harry, as he handed the young girl the letters that she had mailed to Harry, along with the letters Harry himself had sent out to her that had never been delivered to her, while asking her to continue to take care of Harry's owl for him until the boy could be found, Albus beat a hasty retreat from the Granger home, as he made his way back to Hogwarts so he could plan more in the quiet of his office, as he sent off Ron Weasley's letters back to the Weasley boy via school owl.
As the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, there was still no sign of Harry James Potter since his disappearance from his relatives home. Albus had to recall the Order of the Phoenix into action once more after nearly a decade of inactivity, in order to help in his search for the missing boy, in hopes that they would be able to find him sooner, but all of their leads turned up to be lose ends at every turn.
Albus had even tried to talk Lady Augusta Longbottom, into allowing him to train her grandson, Neville Longbottom, so that the timid young boy would be the backup in the war against Voldemort if they never found Harry, since Neville was the only other child besides Harry who matched the requirements that the prophecy spoke of, only to be thrown out on his butt by the Longbottom house elves, as Augusta outright refused his request, because she didn't want to risk losing her only remaining heir to the Longbottom family line, as well as the only thing she had left of her son because of a prophecy that she didn't even believe in to begin with. She had only resorted to calling the house elves to throw him out, when he had made the mistake of threatening to get custody of Neville away from her through the Wizengamot, only for her to laugh in his face as she informed him that he would have a fight on his hands if he tried to do so, and that she had already made ironclad arrangements that Neville be sent to a family of her choice who would follow her final wishes involving Neville if anything fatal happened to her.
Albus had tried to keep the news of Harry's disappearance from the ministry as long as possible as he had hoped to have found Harry before the new school semester had begun, but by the time the semester that should have been Harry's second year at Hogwarts started with still no sign of Harry, it hadn't taken long before news of the boy who lives disappearance reached the ministry's ears, and a full scale investigation was put into place, and it wasn't long before the truth about what the Dursleys had done came out to the public, along with his own hand in Harry's placement in what everyone was labeling an unsuitable environment for the savior of the magical world to be living in, as the Dursleys were immediately arrested by aurors and put on trial with Veritaserum administered, as the muggles confessed to everything that had been done Harry in the last eleven years, that lead up to his disappearance.
After their trials, Petunia and Vernon Dursley were handed over to muggle authorities and had been sentenced to jail time, where they were to spend the rest of their days locked up in a maximum security muggle prison for child abuse and neglect, along with a bunch of other charges as well as possible manslaughter of a minor since there was still no sign of their nephew anywhere, and everyone was already beginning to fear the worse as more time passed by, while their son Dudley Dursley had been put into foster care by the muggles.
As the months went by, Albus found himself in and out of Hogwarts every other week as he was called into the ministry to be questioned about how he had handled the situation involving the missing Potter heir, as a full scale search for the boy was made by the ministry.
During what should have been Harry's second year at Hogwarts, nearly wound up being Hogwarts last year in session, when the Chamber of Secrets had been opened up, and muggleborn students were being petrified left and right. The attacks had gone on for the first few months of school with no sign of the culprit being found anywhere, and the ministry was making threats of having the school shut down until the problem was solved, but luckily everything turned out right in the end when the Weasley brothers practically had to drag their youngest sister, Ginny, to him with an enchanted diary they had discovered her writing in that was also writing back to her.
It turned out that the diary belonged to Tom Marvolo Riddle, who was better known as Lord Voldemort these days, and after interrogating Ginny, Albus had discovered that the diary had somehow come into young Ms. Weasley's possession over the summer holidays when she was out shopping for her first year school supplies with her family, and she had discovered it in her belongings when she had gotten home, so she kept it and started writing in it and that was how she had been snared by the diary's dark magic.
Ginny also confessed to doing most of the things that had been going on in school for the last couple of months, though she claimed that she could barely remember any of it let alone the school year itself, so Albus assumed that Ginny had been under the diary's influence the entire time during the attacks, so he had the incident swept under the rug as best as he could, declaring to the public that the threat to Hogwarts had been dealt with, without mentioning Ginny's name, and since no one had died during the incident and all of the victims had been released from their petrified states once the cure had been made, everyone had taken Albus' word that everything was fine without further question, especially once the attacks on the school stopped, while Ginny was taken out of school for what was left of the semester, and was currently undergoing psychiatric help every summer with the mind healers at St. Mungo's to make sure there was no negative leftover adverse effects to what she had gone through while she was under the control of Tom Riddle's diary.
During the summer before what should have been Harry's third year at Hogwarts, Albus had called another meeting of the Order of the Phoenix at the Burrow to see how the search for the missing boy savior was going, but no one had any other leads that could help in the search.
During that meeting Remus Lupin just happened to be attending the meeting after returning to England a few weeks earlier, and as the meeting was adjourned, Albus was offering Remus a job at Hogwarts as the new Defense Against Dark Arts teacher, when Ron Weasley came downstairs to get something to eat. Ron had his pet rat, Scabbers, with him who was resting on Ron's right shoulder half asleep and oblivious to what was going on around it, and as he passed by the adults on his way to the kitchen, Remus happened to glance at the boy as he passed by, and he saw the rat resting on Ron's shoulder and his eyes widen in shock as a familiar scent reached the werewolves nose, which he recognized immediately as belong to a man who should have been long dead.
Moving faster than anyone thought possible, Remus had immediately reached out and snatched the dozing rodent off of Ron's shoulder, as he stared down at the now wide awake and frightened looking rat in his hands as it stared back up at him with frightened beady black eyes, as Remus felt anger fill him, as he ignored Ron's protests and demands for the return of his pet, Remus refused as he started cursing as the rat struggled to get free from his grip but Remus refused to let go as he used his free hand and quickly pulled out his wand and stunned the rat so it wouldn't get away, as he turned his attention towards Albus and told him that the rat wasn't really a rat, but was Peter Pettigrew in disguise.
It didn't take long before they had cast the spell that forced 'Scabbers' back into his human form, and Veritaserum was quickly provided and administered courtesy of Severus Snape who was still there in the Burrow when Peter was revealed, and it didn't take long before they got a full confession from the former Marauder in his part in what happened to the Potter family all those years ago, from switching secret keepers positions with Sirius Black and telling the Dark Lord the Potters location, framing Sirius Black for the murders of the twelve muggles when Sirius had come after him to get revenge for what happened that night, as they all realized that they had sent an innocent man like Sirius Black to Azkaban for crimes he didn't commit, and the aurors were immediately called in to come arrest him.
Within days, Sirius finally had gotten his trial, and was given a full pardon as he told his own story of what had happened all those years ago while under the influence of Veritaserum, as well as paid 250,000 galleons in restitution for his unlawful imprisonment, and Peter was sentenced to the Dementors Kiss at the end of the rat's own trial.
Upon his release from prison, Sirius had to spend two weeks in St. Mungo's psychiatric ward getting a full psych evaluation to make sure there were no long term damaging effects to his mind from being around Dementor's for the last twelve years, and at the end of the two weeks, Sirius had been released with a clean bill of good mental health, much to the healers surprise, because they had all thought he would have been suffering more mentally after being in such long term exposure to the Dementors, but their tests showed he was fine if a bit loopy at times.
Much to Albus' chagrin, as soon as Sirius had been released from the hospital, he had confronted Albus at Hogwarts about where Harry was with Remus at his side, because he wanted to get custody of his godson so he could make up for all the years he had missed because of his time in Azkaban, and Sirius had immediately thrown a fit when he was informed that Harry was missing.
It had taken Remus holding Sirius back that kept the Animagus from attacking Albus outright, when he heard in great detail about what had happened to Harry and why it had happened, before Sirius announced that he would start looking for Harry himself since he had the funds for the search since he was given control of his families monies and titles, and he informed Albus that he was no longer a member of Order of the Phoenix as of that moment, since he no longer trusted Albus because he had failed at helping him get out of Azkaban in the last twelve years, but also failed at protecting his godson from his muggle relatives, and that Albus had better hope he found Harry alive and unharmed where ever he was now or else there would be repercussions, before Sirius stormed out of the office with Remus trailing after him while the wolf shot Albus a disappointed look before he disappeared after Sirius.
After that fateful meeting in his office with the remaining two Marauders, nothing much after that as the new school year started up, and nothing major or life threatening happened to the school for once. Remus had also taken up his job offer of being the new D.A.D.A., and had done a splendid job as a teacher, and he heard that Sirius had gotten back his old job as an auror, though other than that small bit of information, he couldn't get any further information from Remus about how the search for Harry was going on the two Marauders end, as the werewolf immediately clammed up when he was asked.
Now here it was the middle of what should have been young Harry's fourth year at Hogwarts, with still no sign of the errant boy who lived in sight, as Albus was already beginning to lose hope that Harry would ever be found, as he forced himself to focus on the task at hand as Hogwarts played host to the legendary Triwizard Tournament that year.
The competing schools for the tournament besides Hogwarts were Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, who had both traveled with their students and staff members from their respective countries to take part in the tournament at Hogwarts, and tonight was the night when the chosen Champions would be selected to compete in the tournament.
With a s small sigh, he looked around and noticed that nearly everyone in the Great Hall had finished eating, and were now talking amongst themselves, and decided that it was time to commence with the selection ceremony as he motioned for the school caretaker, Argus Filch, to bring in the Goblet of Fire so that the chosen Champions of the three schools would be selected, as the dirty dishes quickly disappeared as the Hogwarts elves took them away.
As soon as the Goblet was wheeled into the room, Albus smirked a bit when he heard the excited whispers from the large crowd of students as the turned their full attention on the goblet in excitement, as he waved his wand at the Goblet of Fire and lit it up, as he gave an introductory speech to everyone and explained the rules of selection ceremony once more.
Once the speech was over, the goblet starts spitting out three names of the students it had chosen, and he quickly read them out loud, as belonging to Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts, Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons, and Victor Krum from Durmstrang before the flames dimmed down. Just as Albus started directing the three Champions to the adjoining room behind the staff table, when much to everyone's surprise the Goblet suddenly lit once more and shook a bit as it spat out another piece of parchment, which Albus immediately caught, and he stared down incredulously at the name that was written on it for a moment.
"Albus what's wrong? Why did the goblet of fire shoot out another name when we already have our three champions selected?" Minerva asked, concern filling her voice as she saw the shocked look on the elderly man's face, as she stood up from her seat and made her way over to him, as she ignored the loud whispers that was starting to fill the great hall, as everyone wondered what was going on, "Albus? Who's name is on that paper?"
"The name on it Harry Potter, Minerva. Who did this? Who is responsible for not only putting Harry Potter's name," Albus said, his voice filled with disbelief for a few seconds, before his eyes hardened for a moment as he turned his heated gaze on the crowd of students, who all flinched back in fear at the look in his eyes as he cast a sonorous spell on himself so that his voice could be heard throughout the room, "in the Goblet of Fire and forcing it to come out, when the poor boys been missing these past three years?! Whoever's responsible will face detention and..."
Just then there was a loud rumbling sound that cut off Albus' rant, causing him and everyone else in the great hall to turn their gazes on the Goblet of Fire once more, as they eyes all widen in shock and horror as the goblet started shaking and bouncing around on its perch on the table it rested upon, as if it was fighting with something.
'What's going on? The Goblet's not supposed to act like that. At least I don't think it is. Though there's only one reasonable explanation for its actions right now,' Albus thought silently to himself as he took a step back as the goblet started to emit a bright nearly blinding glow that was growing brighter by the moment, 'Since young Harry isn't here in the school, is the magic of the goblet trying to bring him here? If so that means...'
Just then a huge burst of light suddenly sprung out of the goblet, and Albus and a few students that were right in its path just barely got out of the way of the beam, as the beam shot across the great hall and slammed into the double doors leading into the hall, shoving the doors wide open as it continued on its way out of the castle and towards the Black Lake.
Getting his bearings Albus quickly starts charging after the beam of light, followed by the rest of the staff and students as they followed the beam outside, where they can see it shooting straight up into the darkened night sky, completely lighting up the night as it started to take the shape of a large boat floating in the air right above the Black Lake as the light finally started dimming down.
'A boat? I wonder if Harry's onboard if the goblet brought the entire ship here? If he is, I can finally get back on track with my plans,' Albus thought as a small smirk appeared on his lips as he watched the boat take shape, as the last of the light finally faded away, new hope filled him at the prospect of finally having his puppet back in his hands, 'I just have to get him away from whoever's with him on that boat, and get him back under my control and everything will be fine and...'
Just then his eyes widen in shock as the boat started falling as the light faded away, and he everyone on the ground could hear the faint screams of the people on board the ship as the boat rapidly started to make its descent back to the ground at breakneck speeds. Seeing how the boat had appeared right above the Black Lake, Albus didn't think much damage would be done to the vessel and its passengers, but he didn't want take any chances if Harry was indeed onboard, as he and the rest of the staff and most of the student body who weren't attacking all immediately pulled out their wands to cast spells to try and slow the boats descent when a strange thing occurred to silence everyone before any spells could be cast.
At first, as Albus thought his eyes had been playing tricks on him as the boat fell faster, but then his eyes widen even more as he witnessed the appearing of what could no doubt be a phoenix bathed in blue and green flames suddenly appeared out of nowhere onboard the ship, and it seemed to grow in size as flew to the top of the ship until it was almost as big as the ship itself, and he could see it grab hold of one of the masts with its taloned feet, as it started beating its wings as hard as it could as it tried to slow down the ships descent, until the ship was safely on the surface of the Black Lake, before it seemed to disappear from sight back onto the ship like it was never there to begin with.
'A phoenix?! Who on board that ship could possibly possess a phoenix such as that? Merlin's beard. Pirates?! What are pirates doing here in this day and age?' Albus thought angrily to himself, as he stared in awe at what he had seen just moments ago, as his eyes narrowed as he caught sight of the single black flag hanging off one of the masts which had been lit up by the light given off by the light shining off of the phoenix's body as it carried the boat to safety, as he recognized what it implied, as he starts making his way down to the shoreline with Minerva and some of the staff following right behind, as well as some students, 'Why would Mr. Potter even be with them, and especially would a majestic Light creature like that Phoenix even be with such unscrupulous people to begin with? This won't do at all for either Mr. Potter or the phoenix to be associated with pirates at all if I have my way...'
"Hey isn't that Hedwig?" Ronald Weasley's voice suddenly called out, just as they heard a loud screech of a owl, "Where's she going?"
Albus looked up in the dim moonlight to see Harry's snowy white owl familiar flying through the night sky making her way straight for the now anchored ship in the Black Lake, as if her life depended on it.
'If I wasn't sure Harry was on board that boat, this proves it, thanks to Hedwig,' Albus thought silently to himself as his smirk grew even more, though he hid it under his usual grandfatherly demeanor as he continued on his way towards the lake, 'Why else would his owl be out and heading for the boat herself if she didn't sense her bonded human there?'
~-Malfoy Manor Kitchens~-
Late that night, a lone elf was busy scrubbing the floors of his masters massive kitchen, as punishment for an earlier offense he had, when he suddenly flinched in pain as he suddenly feel a slight burning sensation creep through his body for a moment starting at his chest and making it hard for him to breath and focus for a few minutes, before it quickly passed, leaving him feeling like a great weight had suddenly been lifted off of him.
'What was that? It almost feels familiar,' Dobby thought silently to himself as he rubbed his chest for a moment, in confusion as he tried to figure out why he had suddenly felt pain, 'other than Master Malfoy's punishment earlier, my chest has no reason to hurt so why. Unless...'
Dobby's eyes suddenly widen in shock as an idea came to him as to what the cause of the pain he was feeling, as he instinctively used his house elf magic to reach out to find the source of the pain, and within seconds his eyes widen in shock as he recognizes the source of whatever had hurt him, as a huge smile appeared on his lips and tears started to run down his eyes as he lets out a small whoop of delight before looking around worriedly to see if anyone had seen or heard him before letting out a sigh of relief.
It has been over three years since the night Dobby had last seen the savior of the magical world, after he had sent the boy away to keep him safe and away from those who hurt him. There wasn't a single day Dobby didn't constantly worry about Harry, and wonder if the boy was safe where ever he was now.
Since Harry was discovered missing, Dobby had been in a panic, worrying every time he overheard the Malfoy's talking about Harry's disappearance as it was reported in the local newspapers, as he worried if anyone would actually find Harry and drag him back, or discover Dobby's own hand in Harry's disappearance, but as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months with no sign of Harry Potter anywhere in the world, nobody ever discovered the truth about what he had done, and he wasn't forthcoming with the information, deciding to keep quiet unless he absolutely had to or if someone asked him if he knew something which never happened.
'Mister Harry Potter is back! I didn't think it was possible for him to come back after all this time. I'll have to find time to go look for him myself to see if he's okay,' Dobby thought excitedly to himself, as he quickly got back to work to scrubbing the kitchen floors, as the pain and misery he had been feeling earlier slowly melted away, though a worried frown crept to his lips, 'It has to be him, but who brought him back and why? Whoever it was, was strong enough to break the spell I used on Mister Harry Potter. I just hope he can handle whatever's coming to him now that's brought him back home...'
~-Hogwarts Owlery~-
Late that night in the owlery, a lone Snowy white Owl, known as Hedwig was sitting in a makeshift nest that she had made in the rafters of the owlery, among the other Hogwarts owls catching up on her sleep, when she suddenly jerked awake as she felt a tingling sensation fill her body.
Blinking her golden eyes open for a moment, she looked around in confusion, as her sleep filled mind tried to process what was happening, before she realized what the tingling sensation might mean, as she felt a familiar warmth fill her that she hadn't felt in over three years since her bonded human had disappeared thanks to a certain house elf.
In the years since Harry's disappearance, Hedwig had attached herself to Harry's school friend, Hermione Granger, as Dobby had told her to do that fateful night, since Hedwig could tell that her master trusted the bushy haired girl more than he trusted his other friend, Ron Weasley, and Hedwig served Hermione in the past three years as she waited impatiently for any sign of her true masters return. And now it looked like tonight was the night of her masters return.
At that moment if owls could smile, Hedwig's smile would be wide open, as she let out an excited hoot as she spread her wings away from her body and instantly took to the air, as she left the owlery and went in search of her missing human boy.
At that moment the pirate crew of the Archimedes battleship didn't know what was going on. One second they had been in a horrible storm while anchored at sea with strange colored clouds and lightning filling the sky, the next thing they all knew they was a bright flash of light that blinded them, as the light first enveloped their captains body then spread across the ship and completely covered each crew member, before they felt a strange tugging sensation in their stomachs as they were pulled away from where they were in the grand line.
By the time it was all over, some of the crew were feeling sick to their stomachs from what happened, as arrived at some unknown location, as the light still surrounding the ship started fading away as the seconds went past.
Nico Robin was currently kneeling at her captain's side, as the blond man knelt at the deck railing gripping the wooden railing as hard as he could as he tried to catch his breath, as the sounds of the crews anxious voices could be heard throughout the ship.
"Is Captain Marco okay?!" demanded one of the crew mates who had been close enough to see what was happening to Marco when he started disappearing, as he rushed over to help Robin along with a few other crew members.
"I'm fine, I'm just a bit winded, and everything's spinning a bit, but nothing more serious than that I think," Marco gasped out, as he tried to shake off Robin's grasping hands as he pulled himself shakily back up to his feet as he gave Robin and the rest of his crew a reassuring look as he waved off their concern with one hand for a moment, "Whatever that light was that hit me took a lot out of me trying to stop myself from being pulled away... Remind me to kick the ass of whoever is responsible for what just happened, Robin."
"Not if I get my hands on them first. I thought we were about to lose you for a moment there," Robin said, as she looked him over for a moment worriedly, not wanting to take his word alone that he was fine but she knew how stubborn Marco could really be when he didn't want anybody to worry about him, so she let the matter drop for the moment as she looked around trying to figure out what was happening, "What the hell was that? You were starting to fade away when I came out of our cabin."
"I don't know, and I don't care to find out. It was after me, and was trying to take me away. Pops and some of the old crew told me about the day they found me when I was six. They described in great detail everything that happened," Marco said, shaking his head for a moment as if to clear it as he stared at Robin, and saw the confused look she was now giving him as he sighed a bit reluctantly as he ran a hand through his blond hair, as he looked around at the now darkened sky when only moments ago it had been early morning daylight before the storm had hit them, "in that storm that showed up out of the blue matches the weather they had when I came to them. The fact that I was disappearing proves that storm was here to take me away, and probably back to where ever I originally came from. I thought grabbing ahold of the ship would stop it from taking me, but it looks like I wound up bringing all of you with me instead."
"What the heck was that?!"
"Hey what happened to the sky? The storm stopped, but now it's night time?!"
"Captain Marco! We have a problem that everyone needs to pay attention to immediately!" the lookout called down from the crow's nest, as he was looking around the area with a telescope, and was now looking straight down with the telescope.
"What is it, Jinx?" Marco demanded as glanced up at the lookout tower.
"Thanks to my telescope, I can see over the side of the ship, captain, and there's nothing over the side," Jinx called down, causing everyone to stop what they were doing to look up and listen to him as he continued speaking, "Maybe it's just too dark to see where we are, but either that light that hit us put us on land somewhere, or we're..."
Just then the boat suddenly gave a jolt, that startled everyone, as the last of the light surrounding the ship disappeared, and the next thing everyone on board knew, they suddenly found themselves lifting off the deck of the ship as the ship seemed to disappear from beneath their feet, as shouts of alarm filled the night air, as crew members tried to grab ahold of anything that was nailed down as they realized they were now falling! Robin even used her own devil fruit powers to grab hold of crew mates who didn't have enough time to grab a hold of anything before their feet left the deck, and kept them from falling off the ship as it made its descent downwards.
'Damn it to hell! Of all the places for us to be dropped off, it's in the blasted air! Its good thing we had the ship fireproofed again the last time we took it in for repairs,' Marco mentally cursed silently to himself, as he let go of the railing he had been holding onto and leaped over the railing and started running to the center of the ship, 'That's it, I'm definitely kicking the ass of whoever's responsible for this, when I get my hands on them if anyone on my crew gets hurt because of this..'
As Marco ran, his body suddenly erupted into blue, green and yellow flames as his body transformed into his phoenix form as he leapt up into the air with his wings flapping hard, as his body grew in size until he was almost as big as the ship, as he flew all the way to the top of the ship towards the middle mainmast pole and used his taloned feet to grab hold of one of the masts and starts flapping his wings harder in an attempt to slow down the ships descent that succeeded.
Since it was too dark out, Marco couldn't properly see what was below the ship as he slowly lowered it down, and hoped they didn't hit anything serious, before letting out a sigh of relief when he felt the ship hit something that made a loud splashing sound, showing that he was right above water, before letting go of the mast to let the ship fall the rest of the short way into the water.
Flying downwards from the mast, Marco's phoenix body shrunk down to a smaller size as he landed on the deck, before finally transforming back into his human form to the cheers of his crew as they quickly surrounded him and thanked him for the rescue.
After a few minutes of congratulations, the crew started looking around at their new surroundings in confusion, as they tried to figure out where they were, though they couldn't really tell at the moment, because it was still dark out, but in the distance they could see what looked like a huge castle nearby lit up by lights, and nearby they spotted what looked to be another ship anchored in the water nearby.
"So what are we going to do Marco? Just where are we exactly anyway," Robin asked as she eyed the castle for a moment as she stood next to Marco and the rest of the crew as they looked around at their new surroundings, "Should we go ashore and survey the area to find out what's going on? I think we might as well start with that castle over there."
"We'll just have to wait until daybreak to go exploring, Robin. There's no sense in going now, when we can't even see where we're going," Marco said with a slight shrug of his shoulders, as a weird sense of déjà vu filled him as he stared at the castle, as he had a feeling that he had seen it before, but couldn't remember where, as he looked down at the darkened waters below their ship for a moment before turning his gaze back on the rest of the crew, "Until we know what's going on there's no sense going out in the middle of the night, when we can't even see where we're going."
Just then they all heard a loud hooting sound, and looked around to find a snowy white owl with golden eyes, perched a nearby railing behind the crew as it looked at each crew member with what seemed to be a critical look in its eyes as if it was searching for something.
To be continued...

Author's Notes:
So what do you guys think? This chapter is completed at 19 pages. This is my third attempt at writing a Harry Potter crossover, involving One Piece. Please tell me what you think of it in reviews. Do you guys love it? Hate it? What? Though extremely rude flamers won't be tolerated. Please tell me what all of you think of this story of mine.
Don't worry about my other stories. I know I haven't updated my older ones in a long time, but real life got the better of me, and I'm working on trying to get more than one story update out at once, at least before the end of December hopefully, and while working on the other stories, I wound up writing this one and completing it. Rather than wait for one of my other stories latest chapter to be finished like I originally planned, I decided to just put this story up now, while I'm thinking about it.
Hey I have a request for all of you out there. I'm thinking of doing another One Piece & Harry Potter xover that involves a female Harry Potter being Luffy's birth mom, and I wanted to give her a Dragon type Mythical-Zoan devil fruit power. Right now, I have a poll up on my profile page, listing the potential dragon forms I'm interested in giving her, and I wanted to get a vote on which one she winds up with, if I ever do the story. Also on the poll, I also need you guys to vote on what kind of elemental breath comes out of her dragon forms mouth as a second vote on the poll.
Please check out my forum page, the link is located in my profile page, and check out my new Harry Potter & American Dragon Jake Long xover challenge. If anyone is interested in writing it please contact me.
Hey I have a few requests. I'm looking for a couple of stories that I remember reading before but it's been so long that I can't remember their titles, since the page links will automatically be erased if you post them, or even know if their still on this website. If you know the names, could you please send the titles to either my PM or leave it in a review? Here are the stories I'm looking for.
1. Before the final battle against Voldemort, Severus Snape and Hermione Granger had become a couple, and Hermione was pregnant with Severus' baby. During the final battle, Hermione is hit by an unknown spell and disappears from the battle never to be seen again and is presumed dead by everyone who knew her when they can't find her. Meanwhile Hermione reappears in the far future with amnesia because of the spell. A couple of years later, after building a new life and identity for herself and her unborn child, and still wondering about her unknown past, when she meets up again with a now elderly Severus Snape.
2. (Black Butler xover) The night Voldemort attacked the Potters and their twin sons, Lily and James, along with Harry's brother survive the night and the brother is named the BWL, while Harry winds up going missing on that fateful night. The backlash of Voldemort's attack on the twins sends Harry back in time to Victorian England, where he is found and adopted by the Phantomhive family, who recently lost their infant son to an illness, and is renamed as Ciel Phantomhive. Over a century later, the now immortal and demonic 'young' Ciel Phantomhive has been assigned by the queen to deal with the Voldemort situation, and is unknowingly reunited with the lost family he never knew he had, while he and Sebastien are trying to deal with Voldemort.
3. (slight Avengers xover) In the future, Lord Voldemort won against the Light Side and is ruling the world with an iron fist. Some outside forces from other countries, have hatched a plan to alter the past in order to give the world a better fighting chance, by changing Harry Potter's upbringing. They send their memories of the future into the past, and set in motion changes that would hopefully make the world a better place, by rescuing Harry Potter from the Dursleys, and placing him in the guardianship and care of a newly rescued Steve Rogers-Captain America, who is rescued a couple of years earlier than when he is supposed to have been 'found' and 'rescued' by S.H.I.E.L.D. from his frozen airplane tomb.
4. (Men in Black xover) When Harry Potter was still young, an accidental burst of magic sends him to America far away from the abusive Dursleys and manipulative old wizards, where he is found and later adopted by Agent K of the Men In Black, and is given a new name and identity. As he is raised in the M.I.B. headquarters by his new father, Harry grows up learning all about the existence of aliens and is in training to be a future operative of the M.I.B., completely unaware that back in England, everyone in the magical world is going crazy trying to find their missing savior. (looking for sequel too)
5. Harry Potter has a younger sister who was born shortly before the attack on the Potters by Voldemort. The two of them are separated by Dumbledore after that fateful night, with Harry being sent to stay with the Dursleys, while the sister is adopted by good Malfoys after Lucius manages to pull some strings to get custody of her, and a few years later the Malfoys manage to get Harry away from the Dursleys and he's raised alongside his sister, with Draco as his brother, and the sister goes to Beauxbaton at a young age instead of Hogwarts.
