THE woman 456: Thank you! Yes, I have seen the movie, never read it though. I know, I have been writing short chapters so far for this. It's how I am. It'll get longer as the plot thickens. No, I haven't watched FMA Brotherhood.

SpawnOfCthulhu: Ah, yeah. I'm sorry about that. I've been writing on my iPod and I'm always in the rush to update for you guys. I will try harder, I promise.

His business was actually gaining more than he thought it would.

"Yes, I'll be over there by 7. Thank you." He hung up, his fingers quickly flipping the pages of the planner.

That had been the 10th call he had made that day. He was quite proud of that fact.

Usually it'd be just 2 or 3, but 10?

He smirked a little, knowing that the ad had actually helped.

Shaking his head, he turned back to his work.

He hadn't noticed the pale white thin strip of paper sticking out from one of the pages. He turned to the page, he rarely ever got a special memo.

Written in Blair's horrible cat scratch was a name he hadn't heard for years.

Tsubaki Nakatsukasa.

His eyes widened. They came back?

It had been years since he last saw his Japanese friends, they had moved to Japan straight out of high school.

"A one year old huh. Knew she wasn't as innocent as she lead on to be." As they say, it's the innocent ones you've got to look out for.

He twirled the pen in his hand, as he looked at the date.

That occasion was the only one that day luckily.

But he wondered...

He leaned back as he called the number, pencil tapping the desk in a rhythm he had listened to earlier that evening.

"Hello?"

"Uh, hey Tsubaki. It's Soul."

"No!"

"How about-"

"Not that one either!"

The taller blonde growled, shoving the rejected dresses into her younger sister's arms. "Look, if you don't pick one out, then you'll be going without anything on at all!" She yelled at her green-eyed friend.

Maka sighed and put a hand to her forehead. "I'm sorry Liz it's just that... You know how I am about dresses..."

Liz sighed too, smiling softly. "I understand. But it's a big event. Especially since it's your best friend's plans."

"Fine, I'll be more accepting of the dresses."

"Good! I hoped you would!" Liz patted her friend on the back.

"Oh~! Maka~! Maka~! I found one for you~!" Patty called from outside the dressing room, having had disappeared to put away the other dresses.

"Let me see Patty!" Liz yelled back. "I'll go see it, I'll come back." She shut the dressing room door behind her and looked around the store to find her sister.

Maka unzipped the dress she had on and stripped it off.

"Wow! That is good! I raised you well Patty!"

"Heheh! Thanks! I learned from the best!"

"Aw!"

"I was watching fashion shows on a channel yesterday!"

"..."

"And you helped big sis!"

"Aw~! Patty~!"

Maka rolled her eyes as she heard her friend's conversation. Her eyes then drifted off to the mirror in front of her. She sighed as she looked at her own figure, clad in only her undergarments.

Then she judged herself. As always.

She was too skinny.

Her breasts were too small.

She didn't have an hour-glass figure.

Her eyes were too big.

She didn't trim her eyebrow like normal girls, so they weren't shaped right.

Pigtails.

Small feet.

Small hands.

The list went on and on as she looked at herself.

It's no wonder I don't get hit on by other guys. She moved her bangs out of her eyes. I'm so ugly.

"Maka~! We found a dress for... You..." Her friend closed the dressing room door and laid a hand on her shoulder. "Maka?"

"I'm fine." She replied, wiping the tears from her eyes.

"You are. Because that describes you exactly. Fine. Pretty, gorgeous. Beautiful." Liz smiled at her in the mirror. "You're beautiful Maka. And this dress, it'll definitely show it."

It would have seemed weird that someone as gorgeous as Liz would have befriended someone as plain as Maka.

But Liz actually didn't care about physical features, as long as you had personality traits that caught her eyes.

To her, Maka was beautiful both inside and out.

The ash-blonde smiled as the older blonde hugged her.

"So stop judging yourself, okay? Whoever doesn't think you're beautiful, they're missing out on someone great. I'd go lesbian on you, in fact."

"LIZ!"

"Can I watch you change?"

"GET OUT!"

She bit her lip as she zipped the dress up.

Suddenly, her mouth was dry and she stood shocked at her reflection.

"Are you done?"

"Huh?"

"She asked if you were done Mak-a~!"

"Um, yeah! I am!"

"Well then, come on out slow poke!"

She sighed and opened the dressing room door, revealing herself to the two sisters.

"Oh man!"

"You look great Maka!"

"Great? Patty, she looks hot!"

"Burning hot! I want her!"

"Not if I can have her first!"

"Guys!"

Liz and Patty giggled before hugging her.

"No, but really Maka, you look great in that dress." Liz said when they pulled away.

"Thanks, I guess..."

Liz rolled her eyes. Maka never knew how to take a serious compliment, she had always put herself down so she didn't believe all the nice things people said about her.

"Just take the compliment Maka."

"Okay..."

"Buy the dress too, while you're at it."

"Okay..."

"Patty, you can let go of Maka now. I think she's going to die from the lack of oxygen you're giving her."

"OKAY!"

Until next time!
