R&R
"I didn't want to be part of the team," Hikari sighed, hanging her head in defeat as Satsuki kept giving her a stern look.
"It'll help keep Daiki in line." She said with a smile.
Aomine glared at her making her smirk and stick her tongue out at him. He reached out and flicked her in the head, making her recoil and put her hands to her forehead with a frown. "I don't need a babysitter," He mumbled, putting his hands in his pockets as he walked beside them.
"At least the practice wasn't long." Hikari said on a positive not.
"Only because Daiki didn't let you go the whole time and you were both glaring at the coach." Satsuki sighed, shaking her head at the two stubborn friends she could never defeat when together.
"Excuse me!" Two girl's shouted, running up to her right as they reached the outside school gate.
They turned and looked at them, watching as they stopped a few feet from her and looked at her nervously. Hikari tilted her head, wondering what the two of them could want.
"Um," The girl in front mumbled, looking around embarrassed. "Here!" She pushed her hands out as they held a small envelope with a heart sticker holding it shut.
Hikari blinked her eyes, wondering what they were holding out. She looked up at Aomine with confused eyes, watching as he sighed and stepped forward towards them.
"Seems you have more fans," Satsuki smiled at him, a sly smirk on her face.
Hikari's chest squeezed in jealousy as she looked at the girl's watching Aomine with wide eyes. Hikari stepped forward and grabbed his arm, pulling it towards her possessively. She didn't want to think of Aomine going to any other girl.
"Thanks, but…" Aomine said, sighing in annoyance. He glanced at Hikari slightly, feeling joy at Hikari getting jealous.
"Actually," The other girl interrupted, cheeks flushing in shyness. "This is for you," The first girl blushed, pushing the envelope towards Hikari, making said person look in confusion.
"Me?" Hikari asked, pointing towards herself in surprise.
The girl blushed even more as Hikari reached out and took the envelope from her. She dropped her hands to her lap as the girl looked at Hikari.
"Thanks!" Hikari smiled brightly, making the girl blush red and nod her head before running off. Hikari turned her head and looked at Satsuki with bright eyes. "What is this?"
Satsuki fell over as Aomine burst out in laughter at her obliviousness. Satsuki looked at her as if she were stupid as Hikari looked around the envelope and turned it trying to find out what it was.
"It doesn't even say what it is…" Hikari pouted, before breaking the seal and opening it up.
Aomine looked over her shoulder, and was desperately holding back his laughter as he read the letter and saw realization hit her hard. Her cheeks reddened as she slumped her shoulders in embarrassment, hiding the letter the moment she realized Aomine was reading it behind her.
"I wasn't expecting that…." Hikari mumbled, folding the letter back up and placing it in the envelope before hiding it in her pocket so she wasn't reminded of it.
"You're pretty popular," Satsuki laughed, shrugging her shoulders. "It's not just with the guys, the girls look up to you too."
Her jaw dropped as she looked at Satsuki as if it were a joke that she were trying to tell. But when she made no other emotion to hint she was joking, she looked at Aomine for help, but he was pouting behind her with furrowed brows. Aomine walked past her, ignoring her groan in irritation.
"Daiki!" She shouted at him in irritation. "Why are you mad?"
"I'm not mad!" He shouted back.
Hikari looked at him as if to say 'Yeah right,' before looking at Satsuki with the same look, making her give Hikari the same look, both knowing that his slumped shoulders were giving him away. Hikari puffed her cheeks out before handing Satsuki her bag and running after him.
"Don't lie!" She shouted as she jumped and latched to him by wrapping her arms around his neck. He grunted from the sudden force that hit him, making him lean forward slightly and glance at her over his shoulder. She smiled at him innocently before letting out a chuckle, making him sigh in defeat. "I know you're lying." She told him, furrowing her brows in mock anger. "Whhhhhhhyyyyyyy?" She whined in his ear.
He sighed and reached back towards her, grabbing her thighs and making her squeak in surprise. He pulled her legs to his hips, holding her up on his back as he continued to walk. "I'm not mad," He said, this time seeming to lighten up at her being so close to him.
"Well now you're not," She giggled, poking his cheek to irritate him. "If it's about your fangirls liking me instead, then you don't have to worry." She said hotly.
"I don't care about that," He told her, "if anything I'm turned on by that." Her cheeks flushed as she slapped him in the shoulder, understanding perfectly where his mind was at.
He laughed, sending the rumbling into her. "The guys can stay the hell away though." He growled, thinking about the guys fawning over his property.
"Your jealous," She sang, smile splitting her face wide in joy.
He cut a look to her, making her clamp her mouth shut, but the smile stuck on her face as she looked over at him with joy apparent in her looks. She couldn't help but feel happy that she wasn't the only one to get jealous over the opposite sex onto them. She wrapped her arms around his neck tighter as she rested her forehead on his shoulder, feeling the heat radiate off of his dark skin.
Satsuki plopped in the couch in Aomine's apartment, watching as he dropped her into the recliner opposite of it. Hikari seemed to all but melt into the chair as she groaned and leaned her head back.
"We have practice tomorrow, so make sure you come." Satsuki said pointing at Hikari with a stern expression. "I won't allow your first day to be missed already."
"I don't want to," Hikari groaned, still not accepting of the idea of being part of the team.
"I don't want her to be part of it either," Aomine said, stripping off his shirt and walking around with his tanktop.
"That's only because you don't want the rest of the team to like her too." Satsuki laughed, knowing how his mind was working on the matter. "Oh well," She sighed, a plan forming in her head. "You could have kept her close and by your side while she was there."
Aomine stopped and tilted her head back, making her look up at him. That seemed to set his mind straight as her blue eyes looked at him in confusion. He bent down and kissed her forehead, making her blush and put her hands over her forehead while she sat up. He draped his arms over her shoulders, pulling his head next to hers. "Deal," He said, making Satsuki smile in victory at her plan working.
"Well, then I'm done here," She laughed, waving at them before walking to the door.
"Go stalk Kuroko or something," Hikari teased, watching as her friend winked and smiled as if she were going to do just that.
Hikari got up and sighed as she walked to the kitchen to make dinner, ready for the day to end. It didn't take long for the dinner to be finished, for baths to be taken, and sleep to finally overcome her body from the long day.
"Where are you going?" He asked, watching as she grabbed a blanket off the bed and walked to the couch.
"I'm sleeping on the couch," She yawned, moving the pillow and plopping down onto the couch.
"You'll sleep in the bed," He argued, pulling the blanket from her.
"It's weird sleeping in the same bed," She complained, furrowing her brows at him before pulling the blanket back towards her.
"No arguments. I'll just keep coming back to the couch." Aomine growled, but saw the stubbornness on her face as she curled up under the blanket. "Fine, but don't complain, when you get cold." He walked back to his bed, curling underneath it quickly and ignoring his irritation. He drifted into sleep, letting his mind shut off from Hikari and the couch.
Hikari regretted it instantly about taking the couch. It was hard and the middle of the couch was digging into her side from the metal frame. The cold air was surrounding her and making her shiver crazily. Her whole body was shaking in the cold as she desperately curled with the blanket, trying to get warm in any way.
"Dammit," She cursed under her breath, irritated that she's about to do exactly as Aomine said she shouldn't do.
She slid off the couch, hugging her arms to herself with the blanket as she padded over to his room. She pushed the door open and sneaked in, feeling embarrassment creep on her for her weakness to the cold.
"Daiki," She whispered, poking his arm that was draped over the side of the bed. He groaned but was still asleep, making her grit her teeth. She reached out again and pushed his arm, trying to wake him up and move so she could slid in. She narrowed her eyes, seeing that he was taking up the whole bed with his arms and legs sprawled. She knew he never fell asleep like that, and that he was probably doing it now to spite her.
He cracked an eye open and looked up at her innocently. His mouth twitched in the corner, making her glare at him even more. "Cold?"
"Yes, now let me in," She whined, tugging at his covers desperately.
"No," He said, making her look at him in surprise. "I told you not to complain if you get cold." He stated, making her irritation spark.
She stuck out her lower lip and quivered it, letting her eyes widen in a pleading pout. Aomine raised an eyebrow, watching her desperate attack to try and make him give in.
"No," He said simply, teasing her as she shivered in front of him. She stopped and turned on her heel, giving up on trying to change his mind. "Fine," Aomine reached out quickly, grabbing her blanket and pulling it away from her. She squealed from the cold hitting her skin that was bare, making her shiver even more.
"Give it back!" She complained, hugging herself tightly.
"Come here," He said, moving over and holding his arms open with the covers, giving her an opening under the warm sheets for her to join.
"No, you said I couldn't." She pouted, spiting him for his own words.
"Come here," He groaned this time, grabbing her wrist and pulling her to him.
She felt his body against her as he pulled the covers over her. His leg slid up between hers as his arms went around her waist, pulling her closer to him until there wasn't even air between them. She could feel the heat from his body seep into her quickly, making her shivering stop and her body to relax. He laid his head on top of hers, bringing his lips to her ear.
"Feeling better?" He whispered, making a shiver go down her back.
She could feel his mouth move into a smirk on her ear as he felt the shiver. He pulled back and looked at her, looking directly into her eyes. His leg moved up higher, rubbing against her and making her groan in surprise.
"Stop," She breathed out, but she clutched at his arm, feeling his bare chest under her other hand.
"You're actions say different," He chuckled lowly, grabbing her hand and flipping her under him, pinning her hand under his on the bed. "Do you really want me to stop?" He asked, leaning down towards her, his lips barely brushing against hers.
"No," She breathed, eyes turning hazy.
"No, you don't want me to stop, or no you want me to stop?" He asked, teasing her.
She grumbled under him, clutching his arm with one hand as her other hand was being held down with his fingers twined in hers. He leaned down the rest of the way, attacking her lips hungrily as he pushed his body against hers. Their lips danced in a frenzy as their breaths mingled and their body heat soared. His hand trailed up her side, lifting her shirt up and letting his fingers glide over her skin.
"Daiki," She gasped, feeling the heat between them. She groaned as his leg moved up again and pushed against her. He pulled away from her finally, giving them a moment to breath. He trailed along her jaw with heated kisses, and then down her neck to her collarbone. A small moan left her lips as he sucked on her collarbone, surprising herself at how sensitive she was. She felt his hand trail up her side even more, until his fingers brushed over the top of her bra making her jerk in surprise at the touch. She reached her hand out and grabbed his arm, pulling it from her chest.
"Stop, please," She pleaded, making him look up at her in surprise. "I…" She was trying to catch her breath as she looked up at him. "I can't take anymore."
He chuckled as he leaned down, putting his head down on her neck, making her tense in anticipation. He gave her skin a soft kiss before rolling over and pulling her on top of him.
"Go to sleep," He said, surprising her. He sighed, making her relax. "I won't do anything else." He petted her hair as she wrapped her arms around him with a smile. She leaned up quickly, before giving him a kiss on his lips. She laid her head back down on his chest, letting sleep take her over for the night.
"Wake up!" Satsuki shouted, knocking on their door in the morning.
Hikari and Aomine jerked awake quickly, blinking away the sleep that was trying to cover their minds again. Hikari sat up on the bed, looking at the clock before seeing it was almost time for practice.
"Daiki, it's almost time for practice," She said with a yawn.
She looked down at him and saw he was still asleep under her, making her smile and sigh at the same time. Her cheeks flushed as she remembered last night, but it also gave her an idea. She leaned down slowly and put her hands to his chest, feeling him breathe smoothly though she slept on top of him all night. She kissed his lips gently before pulling back, she made a sound of surprise as his hand lifted up and pushed her head to his, causing her lips to crash back down on to his own.
She pulled back finally and looked down at his smirking face. "Time to wake up," She laughed, sliding off of him and getting changed.
Hikari ended up letting Satsuki in to help her get Aomine out of bed and woken up. He grumbled as he slid his tank top, shorts, and shoes on.
"I really wish I didn't have to be on the team," Hikari sighed. "It feels wrong to play on a rivaling team."
Aomine was casually walking behind them, sleep urging him to return to the bed. He snapped out of his thoughts as Hikari grabbed his hand, tugging him faster to keep up with them.
"Hurry up Daiki," She laughed, pulling his hand harder.
Satsuki looked at them with a raised eyebrow, before smiling at them. "You two are getting along again."
Hikari stopped and looked at Aomine, and then down at their hands which were still linked together. She tried to pull her hand away from his in embarrassment, but he tightened his hold on her hand, not willing to let it go. Satsuki smiled and gave a small jump, happy that the group was back together like before. Hikari's cheeks were flushed as she scratched her cheek, letting Aomine's fingers slide through her own to link them even closer.
"You actually showed up?" Wakamatsu snorted, seeing the star player walk in grumpily.
The coach sighed as he pulled out a couple bills of money and hands it to Satsuki. "Didn't think it'd work on the first day." He sighed again, cutting a proud glance at Hikari who was tugging him inside.
"I'm not practicing. I don't need to." Daiki said, plopping down into the grass, ready to take a nap right there.
"No!" Hikari shouted at him, pulling his cheek hard with a pinch. "I need to see how much better you've gotten."
Aomine sat up, grumbling in irritation. He smirked at her, leaning on his right hand as he got closer to her. "How about some bribing?"
Hikari's cheeks flushed as she understood perfectly what he meant. She clutched her hand into a fist before leaning on it and pushing her lips to his own in a quick kiss. He smirked at her again, victorious that he was winning her over.
"Did not expect that." Wakamatsu said, blinking in surprise. "Should have known that's why he's soft on her."
"Shut up," Aomine said suddenly appearing in front of him and kicking him in the stomach with his knee.
"Daiki!" Hikari shouted at him, throwing her shoe and hitting him in the head. "Violence is not the answer!" She walked over to Wakamatsu and helped him stand up, patting his back as he coughed. "I'd hate to think how strong you are if you can control him."
Aomine chuckled behind them, making Hikari herself laugh. "I don't' control him. He just likes me better than you guys." She sighed and then looked at Aomine. "Daiki, show me what you got."
He smirked, his eyes gleaming with mischievousness. He stepped closer to her, wrapping his arm around her waist and pulling her body flush against his. "I can do that, and so much more." He growled, making her blush into a tomato.
"That's not what I'm talking about!" She shouted, pushing against his chest in embarrassment.
"Enough!" Satsuki shouted, hitting him in the back with a kick. "Stop twisting everything she says!"
Aomine groaned as he rubbed his neck and walked to the court. "Fine, let's do this then."
"Come over here," Satsuki told Hikari, tugging her over to the coach on the sidelines.
"Here," The coach said, handing her a clip board. Hikari looked down at it confusion. "For notes."
Satsuki took it instead, giving him a small laugh. "She doesn't need it." She saw the coach's confusion, and decided to give him an explanation. "Hikari can get stats and write them down in her head. It's as if she is her own personal computer."
The coach watched as Aomine grabbed the ball and started dribbling it between his legs, before darting off at incredible speed between the players. The coach glanced at Hikari and saw her eyes darting around as if looking at numbers and statistics.
"He's going to make a hard right, pivoting on his foot, before pushing off and dunking the ball." She said, making the coach look at Aomine.
Aomine began to go to the left making the coach slump his shoulders in defeat. He heard a squeaking from the shoes, before watching Aomine make a hard right, going around Wakamatsu who shouted in anger. He pivoted on his foot to spin towards the goal, before jumping into the air and dunking the ball into the net.
"How did you know?" He asked, looking at the girl in awe at her knowledge.
"I know Daiki," She said with a chuckle. "I've watched him play enough. It's easy to tell if you watch his muscles."
"He moves to fast for that." Imayoshi said, appearing behind them suddenly, making her jump.
"Not for me. As I said, I've watched him play for years. To me he moves slow and every move is precise." She explained, watching as Aomine smirked in victory.
"This is why we need her," Satsuki said with a chuckle, "She good. Better than me."
