A/N: let's do this.

. . .

In the next few days, Whisper planned his final scheme in silence, the scheme that would probably free him of his wicked mistress and most importantly would free his beloved. He did his job as well so he wouldn't raise any suspicious brow. The fellow miners were either too weak or indifferent to deal with the new guy (besides, no one would like to entice No-tail Mizar's wrath.)

The swine-like orc guard intended to throw the food on the ground; she always felt satisfied to watch the starved prisoners fighting for food. Whisper knew it was time….

"Cattle, …" He exclaimed loudly. One of the miners glared at him with a mouthful of bread in his gaping maw "Excuse me?"

"What is the difference between you and some mindless cattle? Nothing; it gazes from the ground, you do so. It works day and night as well as you. Come to think of it, I do believe such mindless livestock is more cherished than us." His words were to be met with a quick shiv if it weren't for No-Tail who was around. Whisper climbed a relatively large boulder to gain more audience.

"How can you accept such a grim fate? To waste your last breath mining silver for the god damned SilverBlood? They never provide an adequate health care, food… our very basic needs are all but lost! You there," he pointed to a nord shivering on the ground "what brought you here? "

" Petty thievery… haven't eaten for days." He replied.

"Your sentence?"

"Fifty years…. For a loaf of bread."

"Do you see this? Do you see how unjust the SilverBlood are?! And don't let me get starting on the corrupt guards. I was thrown here for defending a little girl from her rapist and I will never regret my choice. The city guards were drenched in sins, bribes and corruption… everything is overtaxed…everything is scarce let it be food, septims or jobs. This tyranny has to end! We must rely on ourselves to forge our own freedom our own destiny no matter the cost! Would you rather die from rotting in Cidhna for the rest of your life or under the cowardly swords of the silverbloods knowing that your will amplify our cause of freedom! "Whisper built enough rage in the hearts of the men and women around. Some were still hesitant but the Breton knew exactly what to say.

"For those who favor the life of cattle, I want you to remember what happened to your prime example of yielding: the king in rags. When his usefulness came to an end, he was brutally executed along with his followers in in this very spot! Even if it means the death of me, I will raise my voice against the tyranny… now who's with me?!"

"AYE!"

"DOWN WITH THE SILVERBLOODS!"

"FREEDOM FOR THE REACH!"

His words weren't devoid of an actual plan. In fact, in his mining time, he found a dwemer room in one of the many dead ends in the mine. He managed to crack a small hole to see the riches inside it. it was an armory room brimmed with dwarven weapons and armor. He guided the miners to the place and it was more than enough to arm almost all of them. They were ready.

At the night before the prison break, the Breton approached Zanath the red guard who was murmuring something. "The stage is set, at dawn , we will strike back."

"Good, good…the end is nigh." She continued to babble even more.

Whisper tried to open another conversation "you can see the future, right? What will happen tomorrow?"

"We will die, we will live… there are endless possibilities." Her answer wasn't satisfactory at all "… and yet, there some possibilities that will never happen even after aeons, pray it will be one of these few tomorrow." Whisper felt more troubled with her vague words. he simply nodded before leaving the woman in her dark corner.

I am coming for you echo….

. . .

Urzoga gra-Shugurz woke up with a screech booming from the mines, she dressed up quickly and opened the rusty iron cell in a hurry "YOU MAGGOTS! HOW DARE YO-" she was shock to find to petty prisoners all armed to the teeth. Courage abandoned her as she tried to close the gated once more but instead a rusty shiv found its way in her left orb. Her wails were ended when Zanath used some peculiar magic on the orc lady; she disoriented time and space in the near the orc resulting a splash of guts all over the place. Mizar – who threw the shiv – was astounded by the red guard's abilities as well as everyone else. Whisper leaded the dwemer bearers to the confiscation room where all of their belonging were locked in chest. The drunken guards were dispatched with ease as well. upon grabbing his ebony dagger, the dark whispers grew louder I don't know how a slithering mortal like you were out of my reach. However, I know that you will wreak havoc in my name!

"We shall see Mephala." He whispered before embracing the fresh air of the reach for the first time in days. By then, the city was virtually lifeless save for few beggars here and there. With Zanath, Whisper reached the very top of the guardsmen tower blowing into the newly installed large war horn. People started to hazily awake from their slumber to see what was going on. Whisper shouted out loud "FREEDOM TO MARKARTH! DEATH TO THE SILVERBLOODS!"

The battle began at earnest, with miners clashing with the guards, SilverBlood mercs and the Thalamors who surprisingly partook in the battle. The tide was against his forces but the arrival of the forsworn flipped the table. The oppressed people fought too alongside with him. Seeing the rest of guards cowering in the palace, Whisper knew his role had come to end. Alas the reach was free and independent. He excused Zanath for a couple of minutes but the woman insisted to go wherever he went and so they went to Olina's house where the little girl cowered in a small corner crying out of fear. However, when she saw whisper, Olina jumped all over him with some innocent joy "Whisper! You are alive! What is going on?"

"The bad people will rule the city no more. I wanted to check on you. I want you to stay strong, don't let anyone topple you in anything, understand? "She happily nodded. "That funny argonian out there will watch over you should you need anything." He pointed outside to No tail who bore a toothy smile.

"Just be careful, dear." He gave her one last hug before leaving; sadly, he had more matters to attend. The dyad exited the city with haste to the stales.

Little did he know about the dangers up in the horizon…
