Heyyy. I had this ready for quite some time but I'm not sure if anyone is still interested? Anyways in case somebody is here it goes:
As soon as they headed into a more private corner, Caroline informed them all about how Silas appeared in the form of Tyler to trick her. Apparently he wanted to talk to Bonnie...in private. Great. How are the odds that this dance would end in murder afterall? No one really seemed all too happy with the idea of Bonnie facing Silas on her own, but they really didn't have any other options. So finally, Bonnie declared she'd be going and find out what he wants for the sake of everyone.
Bonnie knew. She knew what Silas wanted from her because he had already told her, but she never told Caroline or any of the others. She didn't like feeling weak and there was not much any of them could do to help her at this point. Silas was too powerful. And if she'd die at his hands she was damn sure she would not bring any of her friends along to die with her. Bonnie carefully walked outside, not sure where to go, but she didn't have to look for long. Silas stood next to one of the old big oaks outside of the school, staring at her in the form of Damon. She could tell it wasn't Damon, because he had this completely emotionless, cold look in his eyes. Damon would smirk.
"Silas" Bonnie breathed out. "What an unwelcome surprise"
"Unwelcome? I'd say you brought upon yourself" Silas started walking towards her slowly.
"I told you, I need more time" Bonnie began, but he just held up his right hand as to tell her she needed to keep quiet and Bonnie obeyed.
"I told you, that I need the veil dropped, until the next full moon. Well, the full moon is tomorrow, and you haven't prepared yourself yet. You need to get the energy of the sacrafices, the spell, and the cure. So I am asking myself when exactly are you going to do all these things? If you don't do as I say, then this will be the last time you see your pretty little friends dance. Don't forget I already killed one of you" As he said the last bit, he changed into Jeremy and smiled at her. It pained her to see Jeremy with that cold, unreal smile that crowned Silas' face.
"Don't", Bonnie whispered. She closed her eyes because she couldn't bear seeing Jeremy right now. Because it wasn't him. And she missed him. So much.
"What do you want me to do?" She asked calmly.
"You come with me right now, and prepare to drop the veil" Silas answered. Without saying anything she marched passed him towards the woods.
- The Salvatore Mansion-
"This is a disaster" Damon yelled. "Bonnie isn't answering any of my calls, what is going on?"
"Dammit, we shouldn't have let her go there all alone" Caroline hissed at Damon and Stefan.
"Well no, we should have just let Silas kill the entire prom audience, smarty pants" Damon spit back at her.
"None of this fighting will bring us anywhere" Stefan wandered around the living room making everybody even more nervous than they were.
After Elena tried to attack Caroline again, because she tried to make her feel by telling her that Bonnie might be in trouble, they locked Elena in the cellar. To Caroline's and Stefan's surprise it was Damon's idea "just until we deal with Silas and Bonnie".
"We gotta do something. Anything" Caroline nearly screamed. "We can't let her..."
"Hey, she's not going to die, okay?" Stefan told her, putting a hand on her shoulder. "I won't let that happen."
Damon suddenly fixed his eyes on them: "Are you still Klaus' favourite blondie in town, Caroline?" he asked curiously.
"I don't see how any of this is your business" she declared, looking alarmed.
"Yeah..., and I really don't see how you bought a dress like that in this century so a little bird is telling me that you're still having close contact with my second favourite Original, which means..." He stops to stand up and come over to them.
"It means you can convince him to help us find her. Maybe he knows something or someone.. A witch perhaps, who can do a locator spell." He looks at Caroline provokingly, raising his eyebrows. "Don't you think?"
Caroline looked at Stefan seeking for help, but he was too occupied being baffled by Damon's sudden interest in saving Bonnie. Well maybe, he was just interested in saving the world he lives in. The only world with Burbon in it.
Caroline sighs "Oh god.. FINE. I'll ask"
"Call him now", he says and sinks back onto the sofa.
The woods.
"Here's where your friend Caroline sacraficed the twelve witches, correct?" Silas asked.
"Yes." Bonnie answered shortly.
"Go over there" he pointed to one of the trees, "and do the expression" he commanded.
"Fine" Bonnie exhaled. "But .. can you please... Change face?"
She stared into the cold, unknown eyes of a Jeremy she never knew. A Jeremy that never looked that way at her. Like she was nothing and didn't mean anything other than what he needed her to do.
"Is this bothering you?" Silas smiled evily. He changed into the face of Damon again.
"Guess you're more used to this face pushing you around." Bonnie swallowed her anger.
This was not the right time to blow Silas up into pieces, considering he would just put himself back together and then kill her.
"Or you know..." Silas began to talk again. "Maybe I should change into the face who actually causes all of that misery and pain of yours. But you just love too much to realise." He walked toward her, changing his face into Elena's.
"That you're nothing but a source of power to your friends. And that they would not move one finger to save you if it was up between her and you. And that she would let them." Elena smirked at her.
"Stop" Bonnie shouted. "Stop it. I'm doing your stupid spell, what else do you want?"
"Nothing" Elena said coldly.
"Now do the spell and we'll move to the next point of the triangle."
Silas turned his back on her and stared into the woods, while Bonnie began chanting.
Klaus' Mansion.
"Did I understand correctly, that you lot want my help to save someone I have absolutely no interest in saving? That I bother getting between Silas and his plans because you ask me to?" He looks around at Caroline, Stefan and Damon rather amused.
"Last time I tried messing up his plans he put me in pain for a whole day, I do not wish for that to happen again" he said.
"Yeah and don't you forget who was here to help you get rid of that pain" Caroline just answered.
Klaus stares at her licking his lips. "What's in it for me?"
Caroline's jar tightens: "Klaus!" she hissed at him. "Just...help. Okay?"
"Fine" he finally says. "Only because I owe you one."
He turns around wandering over to the massive book shelves looking for something. After a few seconds he grabbed one of the oldest books in the top shelves and brought it to them.
"My mother's grimoire" he answered to their confused looks. "There's an interesting chapter about expression in it."
Carefully, he places it into Carolines hands.
"Thank you" she nodded.
"Seek yourselves out" Klaus points to the door and disappears into another room.
"Great" Damon stated. "Does any of you guys speak witch slang?"
The farm.
When Bonnie completed the spell in the woods, they went to the old farm, where 12 humans were sacraficed.
"It's done" Bonnie looks up to Silas.
He nods. "Indeed. Now we just need to connect one more dot and everything will be ready for the full moon. Tomorrow the veil will be dropped and I ...can finally die."
"How? Don't you need the cure" Bonnie asks curiously.
"I have the cure." He answers dryly.
"It was easy to make the Original think I was his sister, desperate for the cure. He gave it to me, that childish fool."
Bonnie looked down to her hands. Her veins were pulsing black blood through her body. It looked absolutely terrifying. Silas noticed her alarming look. "It's the black magic coursing through your body. It needs every source of power inside you. Even your blood, even your soul. It will consume you one day, if you use it all too frequently" He explains.
"Well, thanks alot for making me use it all the time" Bonnie answers angrily.
"Sacrafices have to be made. Your ancestor should not have created this veil, now it's up to you to pay the price of her doing" He tells her icely. "Now get up, we have one more left."
"It is an expression triangle" Caroline states while reading through the books.
"Three places where a great sacrafice has been made" She looks at Stefan.
"Pastor Young" Damon explains.
"And the witches" Stefan nods.
"But where is the third?"
"In the woods, near the old tomb" Caroline answers silently.
"That's where Klaus murdered Tyler's pack" her eyes flicker.
"That's where they'll be?" Damon asked eagerly.
"Well depends on where they started" Stefan sighed.
"We have to split up. I will go the spot where the witches died" Caroline thankfully nodded at him. She knew he took it into his responsibility so she wouldn't have to face that place again, where she killed all these witches.
"Fine." Damon says. "I'll go to the tomb, Blondie takes the farm. Let's go"
