Chapter 4?
Authors notes: I am extremely sorry for having about no material for over a year. I was overwhelmed with problems. I am now surely set up for about 2 more years. I travel alot. Anyways, onto the story.
Do you ever force yourself to wake up from a dream, and find that you are awake, yet still dreaming? I am awake, but I only see black. I hear raindrops and thunder. There is a harsh pain at my left wing. It is like a hammer that keeps on slowly banging against my wing. Broken? Nah. At least, I hope not. That would be bad. When I manage to actually open my eyes, I hardly see anything. The only source of light is the moon, and even that is dark in this forest. I guess I better get moving. As I attempt to get up, my left leg trembles as I put weight on it. That also, might have gotten injured. Probably. The events in that took place in the past, slowly come back to me. I remember her, getting tackled, and the falling, yet I still cannot remember my own name. I was heading to this forest in search of anything that I might have forgetten or dropped when I took off the first time. I struggle as I limp around the mass area of bushes and trees. As I recall, one of Dash's friends lived around this forest. I have no idea how big this forest might even be! I figure that if I keep heading on in a straight line I will eventually get out of here. "What?" I say to myself, as I think I heard something. Probably an animal. Spooked, I quicken my pace. The storm is getting worse. The rain is getting stronger. I wonder if Dash noticed me getting knocked out of the sky or if she had already turned her back. I wonder what knocked me out of the air in the first place. First I heard a sharp noise in my ear and as I turned to look-*bushes rustle* My thoughts are interrupted by that said noise, and I twirl around to my back. I see nothing. Thunder booms again. I think I see a clearing. I also see light. Good.
( Now as Fluttershy )
4:32, P.M.
The fog is strong at this time. The rain is not letting up. I wonder where that one stallion ran off to. I guess I should feed my pets. * As she trotted over to where she kept the food, she heard a faint- "HEY! ANYONE THERE?! I COULD USE SOME HELP!"* "?" I walked over to the window and saw him again. He was limping and had mud and dirt all over him. Surprised, I ran to the door, opened, and "yelled" for him to come in.
(Back to our hero. Not sure what makes him a hero, but it seems better then calling him a PROTAGNIST)
Fluttershy. I guess this was her house. I think she told me something. Sounded like nothing, but her mouth motioned the words " Come in " And so I did. She was opening her mouth to ask me a million things, but I cut her off with " Hi Fluttershy, do you have the time? I need to get going" " Bu- but you are hurt! Everyone went crazy looking for you! " "I am fine, but did everyone really go crazy?" She replied with "Yes, they said you crashed into the forest. With all the previous disappearances, everyone was already paranoid. Oh, and it is about five P.M."
She offered me to stay at the night at her house, as she had a guest bed, but I denied. I had to make it back to town. I can't sleep peacefully with Dash worrying about me. So I left, and headed for town. On my way there, the rain got fiercer. I was getting dizzy. And paranoid. And I could not make out why. There was a buzzing in my ear, and I found myself looking behind me often times. I was half-way to town, and I heard footsteps. I looked behind me, and in the distance, that thing I saw earlier, was staring back at me. "What the fu-"
I had gotten tired of waking up in a hospital bed with people staring at me. I guess I felt relieved. "I think He is waking up!" "Shh Pinkie!" When my vision cleared, everyone was there, and some that I had not met yet. Like a serious looking Police officer in the back, taking notes, and some other official looking people. The nurse made them all leave after a bit. On the other hand, she let Dash stay. After her friends had left, she burrowed her face in her arms and weeped. It was horrible. I heard the nurses speak. "They say he has memory loss" and other assorted crap. After checking out my vital signs and stuff. The nurse made Dash leave after a while, and she complied. Without saying a word. I felt bad. Probably because my wing WAS broken after all. And a sprained hoove. They tell me I can stay here or go home. " I have no home." The nurse frowns and looks at me " Really? I thought you lived at Twilight's house" Then, she looks like she realizes something and tells me nevermind. They think I have no memory. Great. No wonder Dash was crying. I have to talk to Twilight.
