Hi guys, its Yui13, finally. I know, it's been more than a year since the last time I updated this story and a lot of you are disappointed in me and honestly, I have no real excuse. I just haven't been on Fanfiction in a while and I have had a rather eventful year, but that's really no reason to not update in a YEAR! I would like to personally thank Captainfanfiction. I finally read your PM and after reading it, I have made it my new year's resolution to finish what I set out to do: complete my saga of cartoon crossovers.

Sorry about the lo~ng delay. I don't own Grojband or El Tigre.

Chapter 4

Black Cuervo flew through the sky looking down at all the damage Santana's minions had caused. There were buildings in ruins and ambulances littered the streets sweeping away people who had been injured during the ordeal.

The plan had worked (sort of) perfectly, so far. Santana had called for the attack to get the Riveras riled up while Cuervo snuck out and stole Manny's belt while he was distracted fighting Santana's minions. After that they were to capture Frida Suarez and then as Santana destroyed the belt, Cuervo would destroy Frida. Then, Zoe would deliver the news to Manny and his crushed soul would need someone's shoulder to cry on, and she would be right there to help him through it.

It was absolutely perfect, except they hadn't anticipated the world's stupidest hero, White Pantera, to barge in and ruin everything. With his golden boots to superpower him, he kicked Santana's guitar out of her hands and it flew God knows where, causing the attack to come to standstill. Pantera left them to the no good police, who never even showed up. Outraged, Santana sent Black Cuervo to search for the mystic guitar, so here she was, flying over the city searching for an old, out of tune guitar.

She had already been searching for hours, but there was nothing to even hint at where the guitar might be. She could see that the sun was starting to set, so she decided that it was best to search again in the morning.

"How far could it have gone," she thought to herself. "Besides, it's not like it can go anywhere."

With Grojband with Manny and Frida

Meanwhile, Grojband was still with Manny and Frida. They were currently in a pizza parlor laughing at a joke Kin had just made.

"Dude," Manny said, wiping away his tears, "where did you hear that?"

"I came up with it," Kin said, shrugging his shoulders.

Manny and Frida stared at him in disbelief. "Dude, that's, like, the funniest joke I've ever heard! You couldn't have just 'come up with it'," Frida said making air quotes as she spoke.

"Kin, here, is our resident genius," Corey said, putting his arm around his skinny Asian friend. "He's even built a time machine."

"That's so cool," Manny gushed in amazement. "Did it actually work?"
"Sure did," Kon said proudly. "He's actually a year older than the rest of us because of it."

"How's that," Frida asked.

Laney leaned forward, a slightly annoyed look on her face. "He sent the three of us a year into the future and Corey's demon sister destroyed it so we were stuck a year forward." She caught Frida and Manny's gaze, asking for more. "She also sort of took over Peaceville with electronic ear pieces, but we stopped it and everything was actually rather normal so it wasn't that big a deal and no one remembered that we were gone because they didn't have any memories of being controlled."

Their eager expressions turned to shock after hearing the shortened version of the adventure. Laney couldn't help but laugh. She had never really thought about how ridiculous their stories were because she experienced them on a daily basis. But once she had said it out loud it almost sounded like a story off of TV.

She was truly enjoying herself with their new friends. It was unexpected, but when Frida asked them to join them for dinner, they politely agreed and were now practically having the time of their lives. Laney looked over at her boyfriend, who she realized had been rather quiet. She noticed him looking around the restaurant at the other customers and waiters and back at the two natives at their table. He was deep in thought and that bugged her, because when Corey thought, he usually came up with some crazy ideas.

"I have a question," he finally said to Manny and Frida. They both looked at him expectantly and the rest of table fell silent, anticipating what Corey could possibly have to say. "Why is it that everyone here speaks perfect English?"

"Wow," Laney thought. "I hadn't even thought of that." It was rather strange that he would notice something like that rather than her or Kin.

"Oh, that," Frida said with an amused smile. "About 25 years ago the city council made the decision that the city would adopt the official language of the world; English."

"Why," Kin asked.

"They thought it would give our city a good reputation, but all it did was open a channel for villains to insult the world in two different languages," Manny said with a slight smile, as if the fact merely humored him. Laney had to remind herself the Manny was technically a criminal as well as a hero.

"That's rather interesting," Kin said thoughtfully. Laney almost visibly shivered at the way his eyes lit up as he was getting an idea for a new invention.

"Okay," Frida said clapping her hands together. "My curfew has almost expired and if I come home late again, my dad will kill you in your sleep, Manny." She stood up and adjusted her clothes before putting her hand on Manny's shoulder. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Manny smiled and said, "Cool." The entire table watched for a moment as Frida walked out the door before Manny said, "Well, I need to get home, too." He started to get up, but realized something. "Do you guys have anywhere to stay tonight?"

A simultaneous facepalm was shared among the group as they realized that they did not have a place to stay yet. The craziness of the day had left them stunned and they had not even thought about where they would lay their heads for the night.

"Maybe we can get a hotel," Corey suggested.

"Sorry, dude, but the law is that an adult has to book the room. You can't if you're under 18," Manny said rubbing the back of his neck. He felt bad for them and he knew what he had to do. "How about you guys stay at my place while you're here."

"Really," Laney said surprised. "You and your family would be okay with taking in four rock star teenagers for a week, possibly more?"

"Yeah, sure," Manny said with a shrug. "My dad is all about helping people, so it wouldn't be that hard to convince him. And my Grandpapi is pretty cool about stuff, so I'm sure it'll be fine."

"Cool," Corey said standing up and fistbumping Manny. "Thanks."

"It's no problem," he said with another shrug and a smile. "Come on. It's getting kind of late so we need to go."

With that, the five teenagers left the restaurant.

Thanks to all my fans who have stuck with me even though I've been awful at keeping up with this. And sorry again.
