The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics

How simple is a glass of ice water?

A cool drink on a hot day.

Very simple.

But think.

The process

The process it goes through

The glass.

It is alone.

Isolated.

Nothing goes in.

Nothing goes out.

The energy it has is all it will have.

And that energy, that heat, will only disperse within the system.

Becoming unusable and ineffective.

Entropy

A chaotic process of energy dispersal, thus becoming wasted and useless.

Chaos.

In an isolated system, the entropy can only increase.

And the larger the system, the more the entropy increases.

This cannot be sustained.

The water gets cold.

The system gets cold.

Cold.

And dead.
