Dedicated to the real Miriam for always being there for me, even as we draw our end.

Miriam da May was having an, unusual day.

Hair changing, eyes a different colour and a bit taller, hey! She wasn't complaining! But relief teachers turning into demons, your best friend turning into a ninja with a sword and a bus coming out of nowhere with a cute boy telling them to get in (that part Miriam could live with) was a bit over the edge.

So now here she was sitting in the bus going, somewhere. The boy, who introduced himself as Percy, was explaining about half-bloods and gods being real. Everyone had their mouths gaped open in shock except Victoria who was fiddling with her sword.

As Percy went to the front to do something, chatter filled the room once more. The purple-eyed teen chatted happily to Emma about, practically, everything.

After the transformation, Miriam felt way more hyper and the need to talk was even more irresistible. It was like, she having a really, really bad sugar rush! Or on drugs... When Percy left the room, the bus once again was filled with chatter.

Victoria and Syd were chatting about something out of earshot, the other two year sixes were playing chopsticks and tigger with the others. Emma had walked off, struggling to stand on the rocky bus, to the other girls.

That left Miriam alone, hah, like that was going to last long.

Miriam swung herself to Victoria's and Syd's discussion. "Sup ladies! What we lovely women chatting about today?!" the purple-eyed teen announced loudly to the two girls. The two paused their discussion, the white-haired teen replying "Stuff". "What kind of stuff?" Miriam asked innocently back. Sydney smiled amusedly while shaking her head while saying "Don't you have someone else to annoy Miriam?".

The black haired teen just pouted in disappointment and swung herself back to her seat. For a total of around 2 seconds, Miriam wondered what to do before whipping out her phone. She found, surprisedly, internet connection and started browsing the web. As she browsed, the Australian bush zoomed by as the bus rode on. Percy eventually came back and when he did, Miriam let all hell loose.

"The wheels on the bus go round and round!
Round and round, round and round!"

Miriam yelled, Lainey, Tamara and Maddie joining in. Tayla and Syd laughed at something with Tegan and Emma and Victoria stood next to Percy, admiring the madhouse. When the song ended, Emma shouted "Shut the fuck up!", ending any other childish song ideas.

"But that won't stop me" Miriam mischievously thought and started chatting about the usual to Lainey, books. As they argued which book was better, Miriam pulled out her phone once more and shouted "Any songs requests?!"

After choosing a song, the purple-eyed teen returned to her conversation with Lainey and was joined with Syd as they argued about books a bit more. Over the mass amount of noise, the black-red haired girl heard Victoria and Emma chatting, or at least trying to.

"Welcome to my world" Victoria stated and Miriam could easily imagine the smirk in her face. Plus Percy's reaction.

"Is it always so loud!" Percy replied loudly.

"Yes" Emma began "But this is when they're normal".

Bam! Miriam smiled amusedly at imagining Percy's reaction to that.

Tired of just imagining, the purple-eyed teen jumped to the trio, using an unexpected Victoria as a launch pad. Barely missing the white-haired teen, Miriam landed next to her and calmly stated

"We are very normal people". Percy just stared in disbelief. Victoria playfully punched Miriam, as she attempted to use her as a launching pad. The black-haired teen playfully punched back before hopping away once more. Even though the bus was very unstable Miriam jumped around with ease, her new found energy filling the teen.

She found herself near the front, where the girls were specifically told not to go. Amazingly, Miriam was able to resist the temptation. Her eyes were set on something else. 9 bags were thrown into a corner of the bus. "It couldn't... could it?" Picking up one of the bags, Miriam recognised it... as her bag! Mattered, broken and burnt, the purple bag was labeled 'Miriam da May!' "PERCY!" she yelled. If Miriam remembered correctly her bag had been destroyed and burnt by demons and left at school. But it was here, alive, well, for a bag.

All eyes were on the black-haired girl as Percy stuck his head around the wall separating him from the back. "What was that? A monster?!" he shouted down the aisle wondering what Miriam's inhumanly loud screech could've been.

"How did this get here?" Miriam replied, clearly interested how her personal belongings got there. The sea-green eyed boy looked at the bag in confusion and stuttered a reply "I d-don't know..." Miriam just waved off his reply and continued to look around the bags.

Victoria's bag was there, along with Emma's, Maddie's, Tamara's and everybody else's. The purple-eyed teen looked back at her own bag, slumped against the wall. Walking back to it and crouching down, she slowly unzipped the bag, but Miriam was not expecting what happened next.

Inside her lunchbox was having, what could be called, a seizure. It was rattling around like crazy, the sides almost bursting. Annoyed, Miriam fished out the lunchbox, her grip like iron on the box. Unsure what to do, she looked at the others with said plainly said

"What the fuck should I do?" Emma rolled her eyes and motioned to rip the box open, the others signalising about the same thing.

Except for Tegan, who was doing a mime act of running away, well, that's what Miriam thought she was doing. Purple eyes looked at the box in her hands, one of the hands reaching for the strap holding the lid down. Not waiting anymore, Miriam ripped the lid off, was hit by a big surprise.

9 humongous pizza boxes flew out of the bag onto floor, one, unfortunately, hitting poor Miriam in the face. Everybody stared at the bewildered girl on the floor and back at pizzas. Miriam, pizza, Miriam, pizza, Miriam on floor, magical pizza, Miriam, pizza. The purple-eyed teen slowly got of the floor muttering "Damn, pizzas hurt". Silence rang through the room, most unusual. The only sound was the bus rolling on the dusty road, breaking twigs as it went.

Emma had begun to open her mouth to probably make some remark to Miriam being hit by flying dough, when the purple-eyed teen raised her hand. Emma shut her mouth, amazingly as Miriam got of the floor, muttering curses.

"I wonder..."'Miriam thought, looking at the remaining bags. She ran to them and grabbed the closest one which had Tayla's name on it. Tayla was about to open her mouth to protest when Miriam zipped the bag open and emptied its contents. 9 iPods, phones and iPads fell out with names largely printed on them.

Miriam looked suspiciously at the golden-eyed teen, but her face matched the others in surprise. Before the black-red haired could grab the next bag, it was lifted away from her and purple eyes meet changing-green.

The white-haired teen smiled amusedly and zipped the bag open. Miriam shared the smile back. As bags were thrown around, Miriam watched the others.

"Everybody gets to open their bags except poor ittle Tayla"
Miriam smiled cheekily as Tayla sent her an annoyed glare.

Maddie's was filled with a range of books much to the girl's delight.
Lainey's, embarrassingly, was filled, with women's needs.
Tegan's was shirts and sweets,
Tamara, pants and skirts,
Emma's was filled with drinks of all types, some, not so appropriate,
Sydney's was filled with notebooks and stationary,

Miriam and the others still waited for Victoria, the white-haired teen looking in her bag. "Ye gods, what's down here?" she exclaimed, half of the girl's body disappearing down the bag. "Victoria?" The purple-eyed teen asked in confusion. "Yeah?" Victoria replied. "Gods, I feel like Mary Poppins". After a few minutes the teen pulled herself out of the bag, holding... Weapons? 3 swords 2 daggers 1 spear, a bow, and a quiver full of arrows.

"Catch!" she shouted and threw the bow and quiver to the black-red haired teen who caught them, still confused. "These are only temporary till we get to camp" The swords, daggers and the spear were handed out in silence before the white-haired teen smiled and whispered into Miriam's ear

"Time to start the party, M".

For a moment, Miriam stood in confusion before shaking her head and throwing her weapons next to her bag, yelling

"Let's get the party started ladies!"

After everyone got their stuff, Miriam started playing her music once again at max volume. As the silence disappeared completely and everyone was laughing, purple eyes contacted green.

Victoria laughed and grew an arm over the shorter girl. "This certainly is your thing ain't it?" the white-haired teen stated before moving her arm off her.

"Wouldn't give it up for the world" the teen replied back.

They shared a smile and then Victoria walked off to the front, off warn Percy of the damage. Miriam turned around only to get hit in the face with pie.

A familiar giggle ran through the air as Miriam blindly grabbed a cake and shoved down the nearest girls shirt.

"Fucking hell!" Emma yelled before grabbing a pie and throwing it. "Food Fight!" Yelled Maddie. Percy came to inspect damage, and of course, got hit in face with blue-berry pie. Miriam sighed before jumping after Percy with cake in hand

"Defiantly ain't no party like ours".
