A/N: So it's been a very long while since I've updated. Since my last update, I got a job, quit that job, got a new job, welcomed 2 more nephews from different sisters, and a whole bunch of other real life things have happened. Another big reason I haven't updated is because I really have no idea how to write a fic out. I'm terrified of portraying the characters incorrectly and I can't write like, character dialogue at all, so while I have like 10 beginnings to different updates started I really can't finish them. SO I am starting small. With something inspired by what my niece wrote for her first grade class. And this is completely unbeta'd, I really just wrote it in the last 30 minutes and I'll probably change a few things around a bit tonight but I had to post something so...

Disclaimer: I do not own Glee or it's characters at all.

"Barbara?" Mrs. Brown called from the front of the classroom, "It's your turn to give your report".

Nodding her head with a small smile, a tiny brunette made her way to the front of the class toward the soapbox set up by her teacher to present aloud, her report in front of her classmates. Making eye contact with every member of her class room briefly (like her Mama always told her to do when presenting an oral report), the 6 year old softly cleared her throat and began to speak loud and clear.

"My Hero by Barbara Maribel Lopez-Berry"

"There are many different types of heroes in the world. There are some who wear capes like Batman, who fly like Superman, or have super strength like Wonder Woman. Sometimes heroes can even look like regular people, without the cool costumes and the awesome super powers. There are heroes who fight fires and save people from burning building and cats when they get stuck up in the trees. There are also heroes who catch the bad guys and take them away so you and your families can be safe. Some heroes will wear white coats and save people when their hurt or not feeling well. Heroes can also be the people who go to court and fight for you against people who may want to hurt you. Sometimes though, a hero can be very different.

My hero doesn't wear a cape, fly, or have super strength. But she does wear pretty clothes, run really fast, and can open any jar in the house and carry a bunch of heavy bags at once. She can't fight fires, but she has her very own fire extinguisher under the sink and when our cat does get stuck up in the tree, she'll always climb up and get him back down for me. She can't catch the bad guys like the police do but she can scare away every monster hiding under my bed or in my closet and whenever we see a weird man somewhere he shouldn't, she can still scare them away with the razor blades she keeps in her hair. My hero can't perform surgeries on everybody, but she always cleans my knees when I fall down, puts the band aids on all my ouchies, and kisses them better. She'll even make me soup when I got the bug, cuddle me in bed, and rub my tummy till I feel better. My hero doesn't stand up to people in court rooms, but when she see's anyone being taken an advantage of she'll always stand up for them and help in any way she can. My hero looks just like everyone else and no matter what I know she'll always protect me, be there for me, love me, and never, on purpose, let me down. My hero is my Mami Santana Lopez-Berry. She's from Lima Heights Adjacent, and she's a huge superstar during the day and my Mami all day and night. She doesn't look like the heroes you see on TV, but that's because she's even better than the heroes you see on TV."

"The End."

A/N: See what I mean when I said I cannot write character dialogue. I couldn't eve write any here. LOL! This chapter, was very small, I know, but I want to write more that are more similar to the first one. I think that one is my favorite of the original 3. As I said before this thing was completely un beta'd so all mistakes are my own. If you have time leave a review, if you don't that's fine, and if you have any helpful critique it is always appreciated.
