A/N: After quite some time, and having to re-write this entire chapter because it got deleted, it's finally done and I'm finally updating this story. I'm not sure how many of my readers are still out there, but I'm hoping it's enough to continue to motivate me to finish this story. I have a plan where I want to take this and there will be a HEA, I'm just not saying who for.

THIS HAS NOT BEEN EDITED. I am going to my aunt and uncle's house in about ten minutes and didn't want to take my laptop with me so I needed to post this before I left. I will edit it once I come back and fix any major mistakes.

In the mean time, enjoy and I hope it was worth the 3 year wait.

Edward sighed as he placed the key back in his pocket after locking the door. There was no extra locks on the door, but Isabella didn't need to know that. He hated having to do this to an innocent woman, but what choice did he have when his father kidnapped his only daughter?

Walking to the elevator his pushed the button and waited. The doors opened and he stepped in quickly, then pushed the button for the main floor. As he descended he felt his cell phone vibrate in his pocket. Ignoring it, thinking it might be his father attempting to get under his skin, he quickly exited the elevator and walked through the lobby to get to the main doors.

Stepping out into the warm night, he decided it was best not to use his car any more than he had to and walked down the street to the pizza place he had seen just blocks away from the hotel.

After placing his order, he decided to check his cell phone. Waiting for him was a message from Rosalie.

Did you check the girl for a cell phone? I've been tracking you like you asked and I'm getting another cell phone signal from the hotel room. Edward, you're smarter than this, don't screw it up. There's a lot of lives on the line right now and I'm trusting you with mine. – R

Shit, Edward thought and he quickly went back to the counter and got the attention of an employee.

"Yes sir, how may I help you?" The young man standing behind the counter took in Edward's furious expression and tried to remain as calm as possible.

"I just ordered a pizza, I need a rush put on it, now," Edward growled. Seeing the young man cower in fear he instantly regretted it.

"I'm sorry sir, it takes twenty minutes for the pizza to cook fully."

"Then give me someone else ordered," He handed the young man a folded fifty dollar bill and waited for his response.

The young man hesitated but after making sure the other employees in the store was busy, he accepted the money and grabbed one of the many orders sitting in the warmer.

"This one has pepperoni, pineapple, bacon and cheese, is that okay?"

Edward nodded and thanked the young man for his trouble, to which the young man stared at his retreating back in shock.

Hurrying out of the pizza place, he ran towards the hotel, careful not to drop the large pizza box in his hands.

Once arriving he skipped the elevator and made his way to the stairs where he ran up all three flights in under a minute.

He pulled the key card out of his pocket and swung open the hotel room door. The sight before him made him stop in his tracks. The young woman hadn't shower as requested but instead she fell asleep on the bed, her hair sprayed out onto the pillow made her look all that much younger.

Edward deposited the pizza box on the desk and quickly walked to the bed in search of a cell phone. Tucked underneath Isabella's hand was, indeed, a cell phone, just like his sister had said.

Snatching the phone out of her hand caused Bella to stir and she woke with a gasp. Staring down at her was none other than her kidnapper, and in his hand was her cellphone.

Shit, why didn't I hide it away? She thought and quickly jumped up from her place on the bed.

"Isabella," he said, leering over her small frame, "who did you call to so gracefully be your knight in shining armour?"

"No one," Isabella said quickly, then cursed herself for not deleting the call history. Thank god my phone is dead. She thought as the man in front of her attempted to turn it on.

"I don't believe you, and when I find out, you will be in a world of trouble. Seeing as you fail to obey my commands, you can shower before you will receive any food."

Isabella huffed and marched towards the bathroom where, just as he had said, there was a bag waiting for her.

Turning around to close the door behind her, she stopped short when she realized her kidnapper had follower her after her little tantrum.

"Tsk, tsk Isabella." He clicked his tongue, shaking his head. "You're only making this harder on yourself. If you had followed my orders and not call your friend then you wouldn't be in this situation. Lose the attitude or the rest of your time with me will be hell."

Isabella was about to respond when he gently shoved her the rest of the way into the room and closed the door in her face.

"Ten minutes!" He yelled through the door.

Isabella wanted to scream at this man. Just as she reached her hand towards the door knob to lock it, the cruel reality hit her in the face; the bathroom door lock had been removed.

Stomping the short distance towards the stand-up shower in the corner, she turned the handle to adjust the water then removed her clothes quickly. Once the steam began to rise, she wasted no time stepping inside and shower and letting the water cascade over her body.

Edward sighed in relief when he heard the water start. When did she get so infuriating? Settling on the bed, he texted Rose back.

Her phone is dead, did she call anyone? – E

The reply was instant; Yeah, someone by the name of Angela Weber. The girl contacted the police, they have an address Edward.

"Fuck," Edward cursed as he quickly called his sister.

"Please tell me you fixed it." He said before she could greet him.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, I did. When have you ever doubted me? I may be rusty around the edges but I still got it."

"Thanks Rosie, you're the best."

"Of course I am. Please be careful Ed, as much as I trust Jasper with my own life, I don't trust our father as far as I can throw him. Give him the girl, and get your daughter back safely."

"I don't understand why he wants her? If her father really is Chief Swan, then why go through the trouble of hiring me to carry it out?"

"He's a bitter old man. Like I said, just do as he says, get the girl here and you'll get your daughter back in your arms."

Edward realized something in his sister's voice was off. "Rose, is there something you're not telling me?"

"Edward! You know I'm on your side, why would you accuse me of something like that?"

Yeah, she's hiding something. Edward thought bitterly but didn't speak his thoughts. "I'm sorry Rosie, the stress is making me crazy and I miss my baby girl."

Rosalie sighed, "I know Edward, and she'll be in your arms soon, call me if you need anything else, or just to talk. I love you."

"Love you too." Edward disconnected the call just as he heard the water being shut off. Turning his face into a hard mask, he stood up and walked towards the bathroom door.

Bella hummed to herself as she got dressed. As much as she feared this man, her father taught her exactly what to do in these types of situations at a young ago. She was going to survive and return home before they reach their destination.

Swinging open the bathroom door once she was fully dressed, she screamed in fright when she seen her kidnapped leering over her small frame. She attempted to move around him, but he only blocked her path.

Sighing in frustration, she make a final attempt to run pass him, only to be thrown onto the bed in one swift movement, landing on her stomach. Her kidnapper landed on top of her, pining her arm behind her back and locking his knees between hers.

"Please." She begged but it fell on deaf ears.

"Here's how the rest of the evening is going to work. You will eat like the good girl I know you are and then get ready for bed. We have a long drive ahead of us tomorrow and thanks to your little stunt, I had to contact some very angry people to get the police off of our tail. Try anything else like that again, and I'll be making an important phone call to my friend who is keeping a close eye on Angela." Edward sneered in her ear, and he knew he was getting his point across. He just wanted to make it back to his father's house in one piece and on time. Shaking her slightly he leaned closer to her ear, "Do you understand Ms. Swan?"

Isabella knew she lost the fight, this man was very powerful and he had some important friends in high places. She sighed in defeat and nodded her head, mumbling a "yes, sir."

"Good, now get some pizza, it's getting cold." He quickly got off of her small frame and moved to sit in the chair near the door. Watching her intently, she quickly grabbed a slice of warm pizza and sat on the edge of the bed, closest to the window.

Night came quickly and Isabella was fast asleep after eating two slices of pizza. Edward's phone began to vibrate and he quickly answered it.

"Hello?" He whispered, not wanting to wake the girl.

"Daddy?" Edward's hard façade dropped instantly upon hearing the sweet voice of his little girl. Stepping outside the room, once he made sure the girl was sleeping soundly, he closed the door and sunk to the floor.

"Baby, Daddy misses you so much."

"I miss you too daddy." Soft sobs filled the speaker of the phone and he could heard Alice's voice in the background soothing his daughter.

"Are you having fun with Aunt Cece and Uncle Jazzy?" He asked, holding back tears himself.

"Yes, we went to dib-nee! I seen princesses, and I met Air-ee-all, she's my favourite daddy." The excitement was instantly heard in her voice as she sounded out her favourite princess' name. He knew he couldn't be mad at his brother and sister-in-law; they were doing their best under the current circumstances.

"Take lots of pictures and I'll see you soon baby girl. I love you in the morning and in the afternoon," he began to sing, knowing they was the only way she would fall into a deep slumber tonight.

"I love you in da en-ning and under-neaf da moon." Abigail's voice drifted off as she fell asleep.

"Edward?" The voice on the other end was quickly replaced with Alice's.

"Ali, thank you for keeping my daughter safe."

"As much as it kills me to keep her from you, I want her to think we are on vacation and that nothing is wrong back home. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to contact you, but this is a pre-paid phone and once I hang up, you won't be able to reach us again until we call you."

"Just give her all my love, and tell her I'll see her soon. I really hope he don't drag this out."

"He didn't give us a timeline, just that we had to take her and wait for his call. I won't let anything happen to your daughter Edward. Trust me on this, please. Listen, I have to go, he's calling, love you talk soon."

"I love you too." Edward whispered as the phone line went dead. Growling in frustration, he pulled his hair then leaned his head back on the door.

Closing his eyes, he thought back to the night of the robbery that went horribly wrong. The thirty million dollars they had stolen from the bank never made it to the van. When the van –and his freedom- pulled away, he threw the bag in the nearby garbage can in the alleyway being used for a fire pit. He watched the bag catch on fire, and all the money go up in flames with it.

He thought about his ex-wife Tanya, and how Abby never talks about her mother. She was two years old when Tanya ran out on them. If she remembers Tanya in any way, she don't mention it.

Hearing a loud noise inside the room, Edward quickly stood and threw the door open. He watched as Isabella attempted to get the window open enough to climb out. Even if she did manage to complete the task at hand, they were on the third floor. Closing the door quickly behind him, he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall, watching her struggle.

Bella sighed in defeat when the window wouldn't budge. She had woken up to use the bathroom when she noticed the room was empty. Walking slowly towards the door, she pressed her ear against it, and realized her kidnapper was on the phone. She took this as her only chance to escape.

Looking around the room she realized there wasn't many options. Bella eyed the window and decided if she could get it open enough to get someone's attention, it would be considered an effort than sitting in the hotel room and doing absolutely nothing.

Bella turned around to survey the room again. Raising her eyes, she let out a loud ear-piercing scream when she seen her kidnapper had been watching her attempt to escape. He had a smirk on his face as he leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

"Oh please, continue," Edward said with a laugh. "Don't let my presence stop you from attempting escape. The chase is the best part."

Bella couldn't tell if he was serious, but nonetheless she marched straight pass him to the bathroom without making eye contact, slamming the door behind her.

Sighing in frustration, again, he sunk down the wall. This is becoming a chore, he thought bitterly.

He quickly removed himself from the floor and wasted no time locking the door and double checking the window. Upon arrival, someone had hacked into the hotels system and gave Edward this specific room. It's been modified to lock from the outside and inside with a master key, and the windows had been bolted shut. Of course, the lady at the counter was none the wiser when she gave him his room arrangements. His father had thought of everything, unfortunately.

When Isabella emerged from the bathroom, Edward was waiting for her. Quickly grabbing her arm, he steered her towards the bed she had once occupied and wasted no time handcuffing her to the bedframe. I swear to god, if she escapes this… he trailed off in thought as he stood up to his full height, watching her squirm under his gaze.

"Goodnight," he grumbled, flicking the light switch in the room, then crawled into his own bed.

~0~0~0~B.O.Y~0~0~0~

Morning came quickly for the pair, and Edward knew as the minutes passed by he was looking precious daylight. Unlocking Isabella's wrist from the bedframe, he shook her awake.

Groggily, she opened her eyes and stared at the figure in front of her. Realizing who it was she quickly tried to scramble away but it did no use; he had hold to her wrists and after a few minutes she realized she wasn't going anywhere.

"Let me go," she seethed, struggling to loosen his tight grip.

"Not a chance, there are some rules we need to go over."

She scoffed, "Rules? I'm not your servant."

"I never implied that you were, nor are you going to be. Now listen, and listen closely because I am not repeating myself. We are leaving this room in exactly twenty minutes, you need to be dressed and ready to go in no less than fifteen. We will walk out of this room hand in hand and stop at the desk in the lobby. If you even attempt to draw attention to yourself, I will shoot every last eye-witness in that room, understand?"

She nodded, fear evident in her eyes and he continued.

"Good. Once I check-out, we will walk to my car, again holding hands. You will sit in the passenger seat without drawing any attention you yourself. Once we are out of the parking lot, you will be blindfolded. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, sir." She spat at him, again struggling in his grip.

"Glad that is cleared up. Go get ready, we have a long drive." He let go of her wrist and had to stop himself from wincing when he noticed the red marks evident from his tight grip. I'm doing this for my daughter, he repeated several times in his head as he watched her scurry away to the safety of the bathroom.

Once they were both dressed and ready to leave, Edward grasped Isabella's hand in his and walked towards the door. Giving her one last glare, he opened the door and walked down the hallway towards the elevator.

The ride down to the lobby was quiet, not because the pair didn't speak a work to each other, but there was another couple and a young child in the elevator with them.

The young girl, about six or seven years old, had bright blue eyes and curly blond hair. She was a beautiful little girl, and in that moment, Edward's heart ached to hold his daughter once again.

The young child looked at Edward and Isabella's intertwine hands, "Are you married?" She asked sweetly.

"Yes" Edward quickly answered to which Bella had answered "No" at the same time.

Edward held back a growl, "She's correct, we are not married yet, but we are about to be married; tomorrow in fact."

"Jane," the woman behind the little girl hissed.

"It's okay ma'am, no harm done." Edward offered a wide smile, and he swore he saw the woman sway a little bit.

"I'm very sorry, she's very observant and talkative for her age." The man offered, but Edward just waved him off.

"As I said, it's perfectly fine, kids will be kids." The man and woman quickly left the elevator when the doors opened, dragging their daughter behind them. The little girl, Jane, turned around and waved to Edward and Bella as she walked out the main doors of the lobby and out of sight.

Leaning closer to Isabella he placed his mouth next to her ear, "Speak again and I'll make good on my threat. Last warning."

Isabella nodded, and let this man pull her through the lobby towards the receptionist desk. Isabella took in her surroundings as her kidnapper check-out of the hotel room, making small talk with the woman behind the desk.

Taking a chance she decided to speak, "The window in the room is broken." Two heads quickly turned in her direction, one with glaring eyes. If looks could kill I'd be six feet under, she thought.

"I'll get that checked on Miss…" the woman trailed off.

"Mason." Edward injected quickly. "Mrs. Mason. Come on sweetheart, let's go." He gave the woman behind the desk a sickening sweet smile and steered Isabella out of the lobby towards the car.

Pushing her in the passenger seat, he engaged the locks quickly and walked to the driver's side. He ran a hand through his hair in frustration, why must she fight me every step of the way?

Opening the car door in slide inside and buckled his seat belt, instructing her to do the same. Once they were both buckled in, he put the car into drive and hurried out of the parking lot.

The drive was quiet, the radio could barely be heard over the soft hum on the engine, but even though the small amount of noise, it gave Edward plenty of time to think.

Bella kept a close eye on her kidnapper, he hadn't blindfolded her like he said he would, so she was curious as to why he was letting her see where it was they were going. She didn't have a cell phone, and she doubt she could make it to a pay phone before he caught her. Even if she did, she didn't have any money so that plan was out.

"Why are you doing this?" Isabella asked quietly, causing Edward to jump from the unsuspected noise.

"Isn't that the million dollar question?" He stopped talking and let her ponder his words. "I was hired by someone," he added quickly.

"Oh," was her only reply as she went back to starring out the window.

Time seem to drag on slowly as silent filled the car once more. Edward sighed in relief when he saw the familiar highway he had driven many times as a teenager. Realizing his mistake, he pulled off the highway onto a dirt road and drive for a couple minutes before stopping the car. Reaching across the frightened girl in his passenger seat, he opened the glove locker and pulled out a black piece of cloth. It could pass easily enough for a sleeping mask to any onlookers, but he couldn't risk having Isabella see the location of the final destination.

"Please don't fight me on this, it's more so for your safety than anything else." Bella realized that the man sounded defeated and but she couldn't get her body to obey his simple request.

She had waited too long to comply and he quickly reached across the seat and fastened it onto her head with ease. Knowing she would attempt to remove the piece of material, he quickly fastened her hands together with rope and then to the door handle. Soft sobs could be heard throughout the small space but Edward hardened his heart, and ignored it, knowing he would give in.

"Just let me go, please. I swear I won't tell a sole. No one will know where I was or how I got there. You don't have to do this." Bella begged, the mask becoming instantly wet as her tears flowed.

"I do have to do this, and I'm sorry." Edward spoke softly as he sat back into his seat and put the car in drive.

Once back on the highway, Isabella's sobs continued but Edward ignored them, choosing instead to call his father and let him know they were close.

"Hello?" A gruff voice answered.

"I'm about ten minutes away."

"Good, bring her directly to the room when you arrive, I'll have someone take care of the vehicle and then meet me in my office."

"Yes, sir." Edward winced as the words flowed out of his mouth easily. Think of your daughter, she needs you to do this and return to her.

The call disconnected and silence filled the cab once more apart from soft sobs.

~0~0~0~B.O.Y~0~0~0~

Edward's heart pounded wildly in his chest as he stopped in front of the familiar house. "This it is," he murmured and open her door then walked around the car to help Isabella.

She squeaked in surprise when the car door was thrown open, taking her with it. He stood her on her feet then released her from the handle. Leaving the mask on her eyes and her wrist tied with rope, he led her up the stairs and through the doors of his childhood home.

Try as she might, Bella couldn't remember all the stairs and turns they were making. Finally they came to a stop, she heard the sound of a door being open and she was gently pushed inside. The blindfold was removed from her eyes and she blinked several times to get them adjusted to the light in the room. She watched the man untie her wrist and pocket the rope, then turn to leave.

"Wait," she called after him, but he didn't listen. He shut the door in her face, effectively locking it. Sighing in defeat, she let her body drop to the floor.

Edward took a deep breath as she heard the sobs wreck through the body of the young girl. It was heartbreaking to hear, but he wanted her daughter back in his arms.

Making his way through the halls, he stopped in front of a solid oak door. Knocking once, he heard the voice of his father granting his entry. Taking one final deep breath, he pushed the door open and walked in the room, ready to face whatever his father had to throw his way.

A/N: I would love to hear your thoughts! I need to know if I should continue or just get rid of the story altogether.

Looking forward to reading your reviews, and the next chapters are being written :)

P.S Merry Christmas! and Happy Holidays!
