Author's Notes: Thanks everyone for the nice reviews and offering to chat about my problems, at the moment I'm feeling quite good, it's sunny and hot here in the UK and the sun always make me feel happy so I don't want to really talk about stuff right now or else it will only bring me down. I'm just going to let nature take its course, he's broke up with her once it'll probably happen, I just don't think he wants to be with her but can't bare to upset her which is sweet but in the process he's upsetting me! Anyway enough of that. On with the next chapter!

Tea had applied for the opportunity to go to Egypt the next day and she was excepted a week later. She made sure to be her best in class that week hoping to get excepted and she wore her shortest skirts (although she assumed that made no difference in the matter but nevertheless it happened).

She thought that perhaps there would be someone else accompanying them, another teacher or a student from another class perhaps but it was just them two which made her quite nervous. Egypt was hot so she packed some light clothes, shorts and skirts with cami tops and crop tops. They would be there for nine days, exploring the tomb with the help of some researchers once they arrived (which made her relived since they wouldn't be alone all the time).

She almost forgot to pack her essentials, her toothbrush and whatnot. She let out a sigh putting her suitcase and carry on next to the door ready for the morning, this would be her first trip to Egypt and she couldn't wait!

The next day

It was hot. Too hot. Not just because of the sand beneath her skin or because of the sun bathing her but because of the body on top of her caressing her arms and teasingly kissing her shoulders and exposed skin.

She felt so relaxed. She still didn't know who this man was but she knew she could trust him. There was a river in front of her, the view behind it shadowed just like the man.

She ran a hand over his bare back and into his hair, it felt hard and spiky. "Are you sure no one will find us here Pharaoh?"

She heard that deep rich chuckle, "you shouldn't be worried what others see or do to you, you should be worried what I'll do to you"

She felt her stomach tighten at his seductive teasing. She wanted to give into him, as a woman and a lover but she still needed time, she was nervous.

He seemed to notice anyway and pulled away a little running a hand over her cheek lovingly, "my blue lotus you needn't be afraid. Id never do anything to hurt you, I'll wait until your ready if that is what you desire"

She smiled and pulled him closer, "thank you...Atem"

He looked at her surprised, it was the first time she had called him by his first name, perhaps she stepped out of terms but then he grinned and got up reaching out his hand.

"Well my blue lotus, I think I said I'd teach you how to swim. Time we headed to the Nile before night is upon us"

She smiled placing her hand in his and then...

"Tèa, Tea"

Tea shot up opening her eyes. Yami was sitting next to her shaking her shoulder gently.

"What's wrong?" She asked looking out the plane window, "is something wrong—"

He chuckled, "no nothing is wrong" he told her. She let out a sigh of relief, she had told him about her fear of flying before they set of so there wouldn't be any surprises if she had a panic attack.

"You were just talking in your sleep"

She gulped thinking back to that dream, oh god what if she had said anything embarrassing?

"What was I saying?" She dared to ask.

He smiled, "oh just some muffled sentances I couldn't really make out"

She looked at the time, she had been asleep for a couple hours. "Another five hours before we'll be in Egypt" he said noticing her looking at her watch.

She rested her head back against the seat pulling down her jean skirt since it had ridden up in her sleep. She closed her eyes, wondering what these strange dreams were. "Would you like any drinks, sir, Madame"

Tea opened her eyes hearing the air hostess next to Yami. She was beautiful, fluttering her eyelashes at him, her long legs pointed out by her posh A-line uniform skirt.

"Just a water please" Yami said not noticing Tea's jealousy but nor did he pay attention to the air hostess, "Tèa, would you like anything?"

"Urm, no thank you" she said quietly. The air hostess nodded and went to fetch the water.

Tea played with the necklace that hung around her neck. "That's an interesting locket" Yami said. She smiled looking down at the yellow locket, "it belonged to my mother" she began taking of the necklace, "this is a picture of her"

She passed Yami the necklace where there was a small oval picture of her other inside. Her smiled down at the picture, "She's beautiful, your her spitting image"

Their hands brushed as he passed her back the necklace. Their eyes locked, she felt her cheeks flush, not only from the gentle caress of their skin brushing but from his comment just now. Her stomach filled with bubbles of excitement, did he really just call her beautiful?

"Sir, your water"

Tea quickly took back the necklace as Yami thanked the hostess for bringing him a bottle of water. She clasped it back around her neck cursing that stupid air hostess for ruining whatever that moment between them was.

They sat in awkward silence from then on, both not understanding what they were feeling.

A few hours later:

Atem followed closely behind Tea as they exited the plane which she seemed relieved to be rid off. It was almost night time once they arrived at the hotel they'd be staying at for the night, tomorrow they would move onto the dig sight.

She yawned as they waited at the check-in desk in Cairo, "tired?" He asked, she was cute when she yawned. She smiled with embarrassment, "just a little, I hope this isn't the start of jet lag"

They were given keys to two separate rooms but there was a connecting door between the two. Atem actually felt that rather reliving, he didn't trust people he didn't know and the hotel was booked up. If anyone would try anything on the young woman then he'd be right next door, literally.

"I'm going to have a shower and get changed" she said unlocking her door, "I guess I'll see you tomorrow"

"Yes" he said watching her open the door, "goodnight, Tea"

He unlocked his door after making sure she got into her room alright and heard her lock the door. The room was pretty basic. A double bed with white sheets, a wardrobe and small table with some amenities on it. There was a small ensuite too.

He took some fresh clothes out of his suitcase and decided to have a shower as well. After coming out of the shower he brushed his spiked locks of hair back into place and got changed for bed, which just consisted of some jogging bottoms, he usually slept topless more so since it was ridiculously hot in Egypt.

Before he was about to turn of the bedside lamp and get into bed he quietly knocked onto the connecting door to check on Tea but there was no reply. He opened the door a little and peaked through seeing that she was already asleep lying on top of the bed sheets in a white night dress.

He smiled and closed the door, this trip was surely going to be an adventure and a half! He didn't know how long he could keep up this charade, he couldn't deny he had some sort of feelings for the girl but it felt like they were coming from somewhere deep within himself rather than new budding feelings. He sighed and rested his head against the pillow, it was too hot to get under the covers (probably why Tea was lying on top of them too).

As he closed his eyes he figured that whatever was between them would take its natural course, let what happens, happen and so forth he thought. He just needed to focus on they reason why they came, to explore that newly discovered tomb, just focus on that, he told himself, not on the beautiful girl sleeping ten foot away from him.
