Chapter 4-To The Gallows
Fang was standing now. He began to just laugh at her pain. He knew he won.
"Where to now? Should I hang him at the gallows after I'm done whipping him?" Fang said maniacally.
"Why can't you stop?" Vixey was barely able to voice out audible words. Some how Fang understood clearly.
"I can't stop now. Not while I have you in my hands and him enraged." Fang snapped. Vixey gave up collaborating with him. It was pointless. Held up, beaten, weak and tired. Trapped within the captains quarters. Such a coincidence that she was captured shortly after she went on a journey with Foxy, she thought.
"Capt!" Sparky called from the wheel. Fang sprinted up the stairs.
"What?" he said impatiently.
"He's on our trail." Fang then saw the ship not too far behind. Fang smiled with satisfaction. Now all he had to do was show Foxy his vixen. He went down the stairs towards Vixey. Once he got to the entrance, he eyed Vixey with a bloodcurdling laughter. Vixey looked at him frightened. He now neared her quickly.
"It's time!" he said triumphantly. He grabbed her arm toughly. She winced at the strong grip. She was then lifted and carried by Fang onto the top deck. Fang let her down right at the entrance just out of sight if a ship were to pass by. He ordered Sparky to halt the ship. He watched and waited.
Foxy wouldn't hesitate to swing his sword at Fang. He had never felt so mad before. If Fang hurt her or killed her, Foxy would make sure Fang dies.
He remembered all the times he had been with her. Especially the day they met.
Walking along the beach with his crew, they were planning on their next visit to Shipwreck Cove. He had them all go back to the ship and wait. He wanted some time alone. He stood at the edge of the water looking out into the sunset. He watched as the sun slowly lowered down into the sea. He closed his eyes imagining the time he had with his crew mates when they took on the most notorious pirate before Fang.
"Hello?" he heard a unfamiliar voice said from behind. He turned. He had never seen such a sight. She was like a Siren but without the deadly part.
"Who are you?" Foxy said wanting to know her name. His gaze was on her eyes. Like bright gold mixed with diamond.
"Who are you?" she asked back. He understood that she might have been a bit frightened.
"My name is Foxy." he said kindly. Her eyes lit up.
"Your the pirate that everyone talks about? how he is the kindest and greatest pirate ever, right?" she said. She must have heard about him before.
"Yes, thats me." he said. She then crept a smile across her face.
"Wow, it's a honor to meet you sir." she said. Then she bowed.
"You don't have to bow to me. I'm just a ordinary pirate." he said. She looked up.
"But your the greatest pirate to ever have sailed the seas yet." she said confused.
"I may be, but your the greatest sight I ever laid eyes on." he said smiling. She blushed a little.
"I'm not the best, I'm just a ordinary vixen." she said. She looked down. Then, a warm hand touched hers. She looked up. She was now staring into the great Foxy's eyes.
"No," he said. He looked right into her eyes. "You are the best." he said. He smiled. She had never received such a complement, even from someone this famous.
"You really think so?" she asked him. He nodded.
"Trust me. You are." he said again.
"And, by the way, whats your name?" he asked one last time.
"My name is Vixey." she said.
Her name was racing through his mind. He hadn't realized they now were beside Fang's ship. He walked to the side of his ship where Fang had done the same.
"Fang, let her go now." Foxy commanded. Fang eyed him.
"As you wish." he picked her up, and positioned her in front of him. Everyone gasped at the sight. Fang had badly beaten her. Foxy was wide eyed. He had a million emotions in his mind. The most dominate, anger.
"You, you monster." Foxy said at Fang growling.
"Aw, did I make the little fox mad?" He began laughing. Sparky, Wolfy, Steel, laughed with him.
"Now, I'm willing to cooperate a deal. I'll give her back, no bloodshed, no harm done." Fang said. Foxy stared at him for a moment.
"Give her back now." Foxy said. Fang signaled for the plank to be set for her to walk back to Foxy. Vixey began to slowly make her way back to Foxy. Foxy met her half way. He wrapped his arms around her. She also did, but carefully so she wouldn't feel as much pain as she already did. As they began walking back to the ship, Fang's voice interrupted the silence.
"In exchange for you."
