Chapter 3
As always, I love to hear feedback for ways to improve. Thanks for the support and I hope that everyone is enjoying the story. Also, I'm sorry for not updating in like a month I was having writer's bloke and it was difficult for me to consider how to make this chapter for what I have planned later. Furthermore, if anybody has any ideas feel free to share them with me, I would really appreciate it. :)
Percy
He didn't know what exactly to expect when he was preparing for this war. He didn't know just how hard it would be to fight and watch those around him fall in battle. He certainly didn't expect that the enemy, Kronos, would make the agreement that there would be no fighting at night. Sure, he was using Luke's body to fight, and the curse of Achille's would make Luke's body slow but with Kronos there in his body it shouldn't be that bad not to mention most of the titans' army was in some way immortal. So, it didn't add up. However, Percy was never one to over think a situation but no one else was, sure he was grateful to have some rest, but he wasn't so sure they could trust the enemy not to attack.

Kronos
He was panicking, he paced back and forth through their temporary camp. He could feel his stomach knotting 'This may not have been the best idea or even a decent one.' He thought to himself. What he needed though was reassurance of any type but that wouldn't happen. His brothers either didn't notice or didn't care about their distraught younger brother, his army to frightened to even come near him, and then there was his 'vessel', Luke the boy who betrayed the gods but, in the end, the other titans killed him when they saw that Kronos didn't need a host and they couldn't be certain that the son of Hermes wouldn't go back to the gods.
Suddenly someone burst through his tent, they were out of breath and had a slight glint of fear in their eyes, but Kronos ignored it instead masking all forms of his emotions as he was known to do so in the past. "Yes? What do you want?" he knew he was being curt, but he wasn't in the mood to really be civil. They were in a war, and one side would be the victors the other would be put in history as the failures. "The sun is on the horizon, my lord." The young titan informed him. Kronos was trying to place who this titan was but after a few seconds he gave up and instead nodded and turned to walk out of his tent to greet his brothers and the army of demigods and monsters alike when he entered there was a war cry heard amongst his ranks while his brothers nodded their heads in respect. He inwardly sighed, so it was finally time to raze Olympus or rather finally try to be loved. Everything was set in motion now all that was left was waiting.

He had disguised himself as Luke, so it was no surprise when the young blond was confused and kept pleading for Luke to break out of it and resist him, that she had faith in him and that he wouldn't kill them. She was right about him not killing them he couldn't or more like wouldn't kill them, they were Percy's friends and he would be damned if he made Percy hate him any more than he probably did. With those thoughts he fought against an onslaught of strikes, parries, and feigns. It never occurred to him that the son of Poseidon would be THIS strong and it didn't help that he refused to deal any lasting damage and even though he threw the blond back but made sure she would land somewhat gently it just further enraged Percy. Soon he knew that Percy would kill him but that was better than the alternative, him killing Percy. So, in a last attempt he made it appear that Luke oversaw his body and pleaded with Percy to allow him to kill himself he just needed the cursed blade, the cursed dagger, Backbiter was still in Hestia's hearth glowing from the heat. Percy looked conflicted for a moment but handed the blade to who he thought was Luke.
While he was fine with death he wasn't okay with Percy killing him, he would rather do it himself, he also was hopping that he would see Percy happy with him even if he didn't know who he was. So, with that he plunged the blade in his left underarm, he knew this is where Luke had his Achilles heel. He also knew that sense this was a cursed blade it would make him go back to Tartarus for him to reform, but he wouldn't fade however he would be in so much pain from that damned cursed blade. He collapsed to the ground and Percy followed him down he held him in his arms as he lay dying his brothers had long since been sent to the reforming grounds and he knew that Typhoon was soon to follow. The gods were on their way. He tried to speak and at first no sound came out but then he tried again he knew that Percy would be feeling troubled and broken, or at least more so than usual, so he tried to comfort the one who he wanted to be accepted by and loved by. "I'm. I'm sorry." Kronos hated how it came out, weak and soft and unsure. Percy looked at him tears were in his eyes, but they refused to fall but he did give a soft smile trying to comfort the dying man "The gods are coming, they'll heal you. It's okay you chose the right side in the end. You're a hero." It made Kronos smile again and he forced his body to look like Luke's that was what he needed to hear, he needed to be accepted so with that he allowed his body to denigrate and for him to go back to his Uncle's realm.

Percy
He couldn't deal with all the death, Annabeth and Grover were still unconscious, so he had to deal with Luke's death all by himself. He hated that Luke had to die but somewhere deep in his subconscious was thinking of the golden eyes he saw. As he was lost in thought he realized he was no longer holding Luke but there was a pile of golden ash were Luke once laid, he wrote it off thinking it was because Kronos had used his body as a vessel. Though even as he thought that something wasn't quite right that didn't seem like the Luke he remembered from his first days at camp or he Luke Annabeth and Grover would occasionally talk about. But suddenly he heard the marching of feet on the ground, he hoped it was the Olympians and not the army of monsters he had previously seen but at this point he didn't really care all that much about his death, not that he had for a very long time, he was more concerned for Annabeth and Grover's safety and that all their hard work in protecting Olympus had not been in vain.
With that the doors slammed open and for once it seemed that luck was on their side it was the Olympians, granted some had ichor slowly dripping from their various wounds while others just had limps or where holding their limbs. You could tell immediately that the battle had been hard fought with Typhoon, but they had been victorious. They had won! They had done it! He smiled a sad but all the same joyous smile. But then the king of the gods demanded "Where is the host of Kronos?! Where is that traitorous son of Hermes?!"

Third Person
Percy then started to tell of the war and all that happened and halfway through the long explanations Annabeth and Grover were put into blissful sleep by Apollo while also healing some of their injuries. Throughout the entire telling of the war most of the gods had guarded looks on their faces and it started to worry Percy after all he couldn't see the point in having guarded expressions, while he was beginning to worry more and more he finally finished the story and laid back onto the ground where he was previously sitting on. Through out his telling Poseidon kept giving his son proud looks and smiling at him.
After his telling ended the gods looked at each and seemed to be having a mental argument. Finally, after it had ended they gazed at Percy they had reached an agreement Zeus would offer him immortality if he declined then they would sentence him accordingly. After all, if he was able to defeat titans in one battle he was too powerful to allow to roam free as a mortal but as an immortal they could better keep an eye on him. After a long pause the king of the gods voice boomed through out the throne room "We Olympians are thankful for your help, we offer you immortality, you would be the lieutenant to your father. Do you accept this offer?" Percy thought about it, it was a very good offer and he knew that, but he also knew he couldn't leave his mortal friends behind and that he couldn't make the changes he wanted to the camp. He wanted the demigods to feel wanted, he wanted the minor gods to feel welcomed, he wanted the peaceful titans to be released from their prisons, he didn't want this to happen again. So, after much thought and much consideration he spoke, "With all due respect Lord Zeus, no."
They weren't expecting that, but most were relieved he declined Zeus was the first to speak "You heard the demigod, he declined." He had a sinister smile upon his face "Very well you are sentenced to Tartarus." Poseidon spluttered, he was shocked, that had not been the deal the agreement had been that if he declined he was to be sent to Hades' realm. This was to harsh! "Wh- What?!" Percy almost screeched out even he who was 'dense' and 'stupid' knew that this was virtually the hell worse than hell. Then he realized that if he went to that hell hole he would die and finally be at peace, so he steeled himself and looked directly into Zeus' eyes and nodded his head. "Fine." That one word was heard through out the throne room, it was echoing in everyone's head. The gods thoughts ranged from 'what?!' to 'how can he just except that?!' to just utter confusion. Athena the ever curious one was the first to question the son of her rival, sometimes curiosity got the best of her, "I don't understand. Why are you so excepting of this? Aren't you scared? Worried? Why are you not begging us to not send you there? Do you even know what that place is?!" by the end she was screaming and throwing her questions had the appearing to be calm sea spawn.
Percy just looked at her, calmly waiting for her to be done when she was he shrugged and then said so calm that it was actually becoming frightening "Why beg my fate is sealed. I shall except this with grace and when you next need me I will not be there I will be where you Olympians have sent me. I do however have a request." At this he looked directly at his father, he could almost feel someone about to interrupt him so quickly resumed talking "Please tell Chiron thank you for everything you taught me but please tell my mother that I love her and tell Paul that he has to take care of her and treasure every moment he has with her." Poseidon nodded even as Zeus erupted "You have no right to ask for anything!" Percy ignored him instead looking off into the distance looking at something no one else could see. Soon after Hades was all but forced to create a fissure that lead directly to the place of pure evil. Percy looked at his father smiled a sad smile and then jumped straight into the crack. He was now free to die if he pleased, live if he pleased, or simply exist; because after all living and existing are quite different.
Thank you so much for reading this and I am really sorry about such a late update. This is not the end of this story.
