After leaving the bar, Jenna decided to head over to the address Michael had given her. The walk across town took her roughly twenty minutes. As she neared her destination, she saw that it was a motel on the edge of the town.

Since Michael had already given her the room number, she just marched up to the door and kicked it open. Checking the rooms, nobody was in although the place appeared lived in until recently.

"Hi, did you want something?" A familiar voice came from the doorway. She turned around.

"Oz, sorry, I must have got the wrong room. I was expecting someone else."

"Who? Maybe I can help to find them."

"I was given a tip-off by someone. I was looking for Charlotte or someone who could lead me to her."

"Who's Charlotte?"

"This is probably going to sound weird."

"I used to live on a Hellmouth. Weird is normal for me."

"There's a werewolf on the loose. It went after her and I want to know why."

"I can definitely help. I'm a werewolf." When Jenna looked at him slightly viciously, he continued quickly. "But I can control it. The one you're talking about wasn't me. There's another one in town."

"Can you help me track it?"

Jenna and Oz's search took them to a neighbourhood not far from Jenna and Helena's house.

"Nice place." Jenna commented on the houses. They were considerably more upmarket than the one Jenna lived in with her Watcher.

"How close are we?"

"She should be somewhere along this street."

"She?" Jenna paused. "You can tell that from her scent?"

"Yes. I spoke to a friend who said all the Slayers have been activated at the same time. It was part of Buffy's plan to defeat the Big Bad."

"I hope she won." Jenna continued. "Look, I don't trust you as far as I could throw you. After you left last night, I went out patrolling, as every good little Slayer should do. I hadn't even been out twenty minutes before I came across Charlotte and the werewolf almost right behind her. You're telling me you didn't have something to do with that."

"I'm not denying that I'm a werewolf. But I had nothing to do with last night. I learnt to control my changes because I nearly killed someone I loved. I've been tracking another werewolf in the area. She's the one you're looking for."

"Fine. You go in front. That way you try anything, I'll kick your ass."

He held up his hands in a passive manner. "Hey, I believe you. I've seen that look on a Slayer before and I don't want to be on the wrong side of it."

"Maybe, but I still don't trust you. I hope you have a better plan than me for when we find her."

Oz eyed the tranquiliser gun hidden in Jenna's backpack. "I do."

They carefully approached the house Oz had said the scent coming from. Voices lead them down a side path into the wide expanse of the garden. Oz pointed towards the back door, which had been left wide open.

"You should leave, before it's too late. It's nearly sundown." An unfamiliar female voice said.

"Emily, I'm your sister. I'm not leaving you."

"You said the same thing last night, Charlie, and look what happened. I nearly killed you. I remember how terrified you looked when you saw what I really am." She paused. "Your friends from last night followed you here."

Oz glanced at Jenna. "No point hiding. She knows we're here."

Together they walked up the steps to the back door, quickly hiding any weapons. Charlotte was standing halfway up the stairs and Emily remained in the doorway across the hall, a set of heavy duty chains in her hands.

"Charlotte, you need to get out of here before sundown. I will change into that creature again. If I break free, I will hurt you"

Charlotte left her spot on the stairs to stand between Emily and Jenna.

"How did you find us? You're not taking my sister. She has done nothing wrong."

"We're not saying she has done anything but she needs help to control her abilities."

"I don't want help. I want this gone."

"There's no cure for being a werewolf." Oz told her. "But you can learn to control the wolf inside. I can teach you but we need to go now. There isn't a lot of time before sundown. Those chains won't protect your sister from the creature you will become."

Emily looked dejected for a moment before crossing the hallway. She placed the chains on the hallway table and walked past her sister to stand with Oz and Jenna.

"We'll be back in the morning." Oz said, before leading the two women outside. "We don't have much time so we need to move quickly to get to a safe place."

He had barely gotten the words out when the entire world went black.
