A/N: I so wanted to get out this new chapter faster. I am really sorry I haven't gotten to it until now, school has been quite the load this month. Thank you all for your patience and support! One more thing before we start. I read a really good fire emblem fanfiction that I believe is finished, it is on wattpad and is written by annabanana 813. It is called "Before Awakening" I totally recommend you to read this if you are a Fire Emblem fan like me. ;)
I had another dream. This time it seemed to be in Hoshido. The only problem was that I've never been outside of this drafty fortress, so how would I know what it would look like?
There were Hoshidans who were calling me their sister, that's what was weird I'm a Nohrian princess not a Hoshidan princess. Then my actual siblings came saying things like, "Dirty Hoshidans!" or "You can't take my precious Camy from me!" Honestly, it was kind of terrorizing. "Camy come to Hoshido, your true home!", this Ryoma person commanded. "No! Come to Nohr with the family that raised you!", Xander yelled. Then I saw a blinding white light and a small voice saying, "The path is yours, Camille. Always remember that. You can change anything…" The voice faded away to me awaking to Flora, Felicia, and Jakob holding a breakfast tray. "Time to wake up, Lady Camy!", Flora chirped. "Hey, Wake up, Up and at 'em Camy!", Felicia cheered. I groggily rubbed my eyes and sat up on the bed. I was very confused though it was still dark outside. "Hmmm….what are you talking about? It's still dark outside.", I mumbled. I hadn't even noticed that Gunter was here until he interrupted my thoughts. "Listen well Princess. It may be dark, but it is definitely morning. Then Jakob announced, "I have taken the liberty of readying your armor, and , er, your brother is a fearsome opponent, is he not?" I was not ready for this, but whatever. "Ugh. Fine. I'm still not fully awake though…..", I groaned. "We can fix that!", Flora and Felicia giggled. They walked really close to the bed where I was sitting, and blasted me with their ice powers. " Waauugh! Cold cold cold! I'm awake! Totally awake now!", I squealed in a high pitch tone. "I didn't think someone could have that high pitch of a voice in the morning!", Jakob exclaimed very sarcastically. I rolled my eyes. What a jerk. "That's how we deal with slugabeds in the ice tribe!", Flora stated. I sighed, "Trust me I know. I wish I could have finished the dream I was having though…" Jakob looked frightened, confused, and intrigued all at the same time. It was kind of cute. Wait what! No no no just dump the thought. Then Jakob spoke tearing me out of my thoughts, "Interesting. Do tell-what kind of dream was this?" "It was strange to say the least….Some people who look like hoshidans kept on calling me their sister, but it was weird because all of my siblings are here in Nohr…", I explained mumbling the last part. "Ah Lady Camille, perhaps we should talk about your dream another time?", she asked. I nodded. Now wasn't the time, besides I don't want to make Flora feel uncomfortable. She only uses my full name when she slips up, which is almost never.
Me and Xander had been battling for a while before he landed a hit on me. I slid back huffing. "That's our sister for you. You won't beat the strongest knight in Nohr by sleeping all day!", Leo dead panned. "Give up so soon, Camy? I expected more out of you. You are princess of Nohr! Pick up your sword and try again.", Xander taunted. "But, Xander I-", I started but I was cut off by Xander. "We train like this so we can defend ourselves. Father has been tracking your progress. If you can't land a hit on me today….he may never permit you to leave the fortress. Ever.", he spoke very darkly. My mind started to race like crazy, and before I could think on what I was going to say I blurted out, "What?! D-did he really say that? That's insane!" As much as I trust my father's judgement, that was the definition of insanity! "Motivated, are we? Then use that to best me in battle, little princess. If you want to see the outside world, beyond your window, then best me in battle. Prove to me that all of my training was not in vain!", Xander offered. I got into a position that could be called a battle position. We fought for a while before me landing a couple of clean hits on Xander. I didn't want to, but I just couldn't never leave the fortress.
"Well done, Camy. You're getting stronger everyday.", Xander praised. I smiled, I still loved it when Xander liked anything I did. "Thanks, Xander, I couldn't have done it without your, uh, tough love.", I replied awkwardly. "I disagree. I believe you have natural talent. Some day, you could be the greatest warrior in all of Nohr.", Xander said looking straight at me with that look of extreme emotion that he had sometimes. To lighten things up I replied, half serious, "Now your just teasing me." Xander shook his head. "You know me, Camy. I never joke about serious matters. I mean what I say. You could be the one to bring light to our kingdom so long shrouded in darkness.", Xander insisted. I was touched. "Xander….", I mumbled. Leo then interrupted me and Xander's serious talk, "Typical. You know that strength is more than simple swordplay, right?", Leo exclaimed. "Leo-", I started. I was cut off by Xander, again. Although he probably could handle this situation better than I ever could. "Calm yourself little brother. You really are competitive to a fault. As I've always said, you're a talented mage with formidable magical abilities.", Xander interjected. Leo looked angry and surprised at the same time. "Hmm...well remember that pointy metal sticks aren't the only way to power.", Leo imparted. Then I remembered what I was going to say earlier. "Oh, that remind me of something I've been meaning to tell you, Leo", I commented. Leo looked thoroughly annoyed. "Something important enough to derail this conversation?", he grumbled. "Well...your collar is inside out.", I stated. His face went red as the tomatoes he eats all of the time. "What?!", he shouted. Xander chuckled, "Looks like someone got dressed while still half asleep." Leo's face went even more red than before as he ran a few paces away to fix it. I giggled. He could be the cutest little brother sometimes. Leo was a year younger than me, but he always acted like he was older. Maybe it was because I was always childish? Leo came back snapping me out of my thoughts. "Ugh! Wh-why didn't you say something earlier?!"", Leo asked in a high pitch voice, burying his face in his hands. "I'm sorry Leo. But that sort of thing is what makes you loveable.", Xander chuckled. I smiled, "Absolutely." Leo pouted, "Hmph" Just then Elise and Camilla came over to the three of us. "Are you alright, Camy? Did you get hurt during practice? If you did, let me know right away so I can take extra-special care of you…", Camilla cooed. I loved my sister, but sometimes she could be, well let's just say over-protective. "I'm perfectly fine, Camilla. As always, thanks for your concern.", I replied. Elise jumped up and down, "I was worried about you too, Camy", she chirped. I smiled, "I know Elise. You wouldn't visit me so much if you didn't, right?" She had the biggest smile ever, "Heehee... do you like it when I visit?", she giggled. "Of course! I'm not allowed to leave this fortress, so visits are all I look forward to!", I answered. "Yaaay! I'm glad to hear that. Spending time with my sister makes me so happy!", Elise squealed. She hugged me and it made me spin in a circle. I laughed, she was adorable. "Gah", I huffed. "I love you so much! I love you more than anything in the whole, wide world!", Elise announced. Leo sighed, "Elise, when do you intend to act like the adult you technically are?", Leo asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm. Camilla shot him a glare, "Well, for one I think her cheer is a good compliment to this gloomy kingdom, Leo", Camilla huffed. I winced. Camilla was a doting older sister, but when she wanted to she could be venomous. "Well said, Camilla. Every one of you is so dear to me. You've all been so patient and kind since I lost my memory… I don't even mind being quarantined when I'm with you. I'm so grateful to have you all!", I said with the most gratitude I could muster. Xander replied first, "We are grateful to have you as well. But, I have some-", he started. "Let me tell her, Xander!", Camilla squealed. "Camy, we have wonderful news. Father asked us to take you back to the capital!", Camilla announced. Right then I felt like someone took my world and shook it as hard as they could. All of the sudden I was filled with curiosity, hope, and fear all at the same time. "Really?! Does that mean…", I questioned. Camilla smiled a smile full of happiness and compassion, "Yes. It means you can finally leave this drafty fortress. You must have been so lonely all this time…..but now you will be free!", Camilla confirmed. I smiled. I was finally free! We went back inside to pack up and I believe that all of us were full of joy (Or at least me and Elise).
"I hear you can finally leave the fortress. You must be very happy, Lady Camy. Gunter has asked me to go with you to the capital so I can look after your horses.", Lilith congratulated me. "Glad to hear it! I'd miss you if you weren't coming along.", I chirped. Xander interjected us, "Are the horses ready, Lilith?" Lilith nodded following it up with a small reply, "Yes milord. Everything is ready, and the horses seem to be very happy. They are all very fond of Lady Camy. Probably because of all the time she spent in the stables." Or maybe not so short of a reply. Camilla chuckled, "Our Camy does loves animals. One time she even nursed a baby bird back to health!" Lilith suddenly looked a little shaken. "Ah…", Lilith mumbled. "Lilith, is something wrong?", I worriedly asked. "Oh…..no it's nothing.", she replied with a determined look on her face. With that look I knew that I couldn't get it out of her, so I just let it go. I still want to keep an eye on her though. "Isn't obvious, Camy? Lilith is sad 'cause she is going to miss you!", Elise said with an 'I know it all' look, even though I know that wasn't her intention. "Miss me? She's coming with us.", I stated. Elise had a confused look on her face, but she continued to pull off the chirpy Elise I knew. "Oh, right! Well then, I bet she's sad 'cause she won't have you all to herself anymore. You've always been especially fond of our sister, haven't you Lilith?", Elise asked. Lilith looked genuinely surprised. "I er-", Lilith started. "As gripping as this all is, we should be on our way. We musn't keep father waiting.", Xander interjected. I was practically jumping out of my skin at this point. "Yes! Let's go!", I squealed. "Calm down, Camy.", Xander chuckled. "Flora, you will remain here to watch over the fortress. Felicia, Jakob, and I will accompany Lady Camy. We may be gone for some time. Take good care of this place.", Gunter commanded. Flora nodded. "Of course! You may rely on me.", Flora replied. I could hear the nervousness in her voice, so I walked over and whispered in her ear, "You can do this! I promise I will see you again." She smiled. Yay, I did it! Everyone expect for Flora headed out following Xander towards our transportation.
When we got outside I grinned. Taking it all in, I twirled. Felicia skipped over to walk by me. "Out of everything THIS is exiting.", she whispered. I giggled. "Yeah, I can't believe I'm free! Or at least for now.", I whispered. "You know, we have been friends for the longest time. I love being your friend!", Felicia said. I grinned, today was awesome. "Ya know…..we have been friends for a long time. Can we be best friends?", I asked, hope evident in my voice. Felicia vigorously nodded. "Yeah! Though something feels like its missing...hmm.", Felicia whispered back. "What about a pinky promise?", I offered, my voice still in a whisper. Felicia's face lit up and she replied her voice still in a whisper, "Perfect!" That's where it all began. We both held out our pinky's and made a promise to be best friends. It seemed childish, but that promise would last forever.
