Claire ate slowly as she stared into John's eyes.
"Take a picture it'll last longer."
"They're a nice shade of brown."
"What like shit?"
"Can't you for once not be sarcastic?"
"I don't know, let me check with my secretary."
He got out of the car.
"Where are you going?"
"Nature calls."
He whizzed in the woods as a biker passed by.
"You know they got bathrooms for that."
"Up yours too, pal."
He flipped him the finger and returned to the car. He pulled out a joint and lit up.
"You want some?"
"Of course."
"Bad girl."
"Baddest of the bad."
"Coolest of the cool?"
"You listen to Run DMC too?"
"No, I just know the lyrics."
"I hate you."
They kiss.
Andy runs into Allison on the way to the parking lot.
"Can we talk?"
"There's nothing to say."
"I think there's been a major misunderstanding."
"What am I supposed to think? If you can't tell your friends about me what's good in dating you?"
"You're absolutely right. That's why I want to introduce you to my friends. Right here is Porker. Porker, Allison."
"Nice to meet ya." He said looking her up and down. They had meet before in Algebra class but he'd written her off of his memory.
"Likewise." She said back to him. "You really think this makes up for earlier?"
"It's a start. Can you at least give me a chance?"
"We'll see."
She walks off towards her father's car. They leave with Allison looking back towards the boy of her dreams.
"Out of all the girls-"
"Shut up, Porker."
"I'm just saying-"
"Shut up or I'll make you shut up."
"Okay okay. Just trying to add my two cents. It doesn't even seem like she's that into you."
"She is. I can feel it."
"Whatever man."
You may be wondering how I ended up in Allison's bed. I promise it isn't as bad or drastic as it sounds. It was Friday night and I was doing math homework. Calculus. I know, I'm a geek.
It was going smoothly until she called. She found my number in the phone book. She most have called every Johnson in the book from here to Aurora.
"You want to hang out or something?"
It started innocently. We watched a movie. Smoked a joint or two.
"You know I thought Andy and I were going to make it. I really thought that day changed him."
"It's not over. Atleast he introduced you to his friends."
"Friend."
Do the right thing.
"Just give him more time. He's gotta deal with all those jocks. It's not easy. I should know. I got my friendships in jeopardy just talking to him. But he's my friend too and I won't just abandon him based on old differences."
"You're sweet. Too sweet for your own good."
"Tell me about it."
They looked into each other's eyes. And it may have been the weed or maybe the teenage hormones, but Brian placed a kiss on her lips and they both experienced ecstasy.
Don't stop.
They kept on into the night. One thing lead to another and soon he was in her bed with the condom his father had given him years ago.
Keep going.
They lasted until morning. Smoking another joint as they feel asleep in each other's arms. Her parents were gone for the weekend and they had the house for themselves.
I knew it was wrong. I knew I was fucking over Andy. But sometimes in life you feel that everything is right and you give into temptation. Do I regret it? No. Will I tell Andy? No. Is it his problem? No.
Allison flipped over and saw Brian in her bed. She freaked sending him to his feet.
"We didn't."
She looked at their naked forms.
"We did. Oh god oh god. Did we use a condom?"
"We did."
" Good."
She bit her sheets as Brian got dressed.
"Where are you going?"
"Home. My mom is going to freak."
"Do you want some breakfast or something?"
She made him cereal. The home was an Art Deco. Outside it looked like a typical Midwestern house. Inside he swore pee-wee Herman lived there.
"My parents are way into Feng Shui. Everything has a purpose."
"Well as long as you can find the spoons I'm happy."
She laughed. It was a nice laugh.
"Did you at least enjoy yourself?"
"What do you mean?" Brian asked.
"I mean did you enjoy. You know."
"Oh yeah, yeah I did. I mean it was good. Not that I have anything to compare it too. Wait that sounds wrong. You were good."
"It's okay. I like hearing you babble."
Brian laughed. For once everything felt good.
