One Mistake

Chapter 3

NOTICE: 6/8/2015 Chapter 3 is revised BTY, I'm really bad with technology... -_-

I'M REALLY REALLY SORRY FOR THE REALLY REALLY LATE UPDATE! :'( THERE WAS A HUGE PROBLEM WITH MY LAPTOP!

Hey guys! I'm really sorry, about the really really late update! :'( While I was doing something on my laptop, I accidentally... pr...essed something... -_- Then after that I couldn't go on the internet anymore, because of that freakin' thing, I couldn't go on the internet. Then my uncle had to fix it, but while he was, he had to delete everything on it. Well not everything, but you know how you first buy a laptop and it has some things in it, yeah like that. Then when I was about to start typing, I realized that I didn't have Microsoft Word! It took me a while to think about how to do this, then yesterday, I realized that I could of used a thing called notepad... I'm really sorry! :(

Before I forget, I update every 5 to 7 days AFTER an update. So that answers Meow 3'sreview Which was why this was late. And I'm warning you once again, There is a few OOCs in here, but they're not that big, just you know some little altering. So I do NOT own Fairy Tail!

(By the way, I'm not good with battle scenes so don't expect them to be good.)

"Hey, you bumped into me," A boy said. Hearing that, Lucy snapped out of her daze. She looked behind to see a pink haired boy wearing a white scaly scarf.

"Pink hair? On a boy? Pfft." Lucy thought, covering her mouth. "I know I shouldn't laugh, but it's not like he can hear me anyways. I mean, there's nothing wrong with having pink hair, but it's just a little ridiculous."

"Oh, I'm sorry. I was in a daze." Lucy apologized, smiling. Thinking that it was the conversation was over, she turned around and continued to think about her first day at school. But obviously, it wasn't.

"Sorry's not going to be enough." He snapped Lucy out of her mind again, making her a little irritated.

"I already said sorry. God, what's your problem?" Turning around once again, Lucy placed her hands. "Really? Because I think it is." Then she continued her walk down the hall. But still being persistent, the boy grabbed Lucy's shoulder, stopping her in her tracks.

"Do you even know who I am?" He asked, sounding irritated.

Lucy growled. "Why should I know you? It's not like you're important or anything." She slapped his hand off her shoulder. "And don't touch me. You don't even know who I am."

"Dude, you just got told off by a girl! And for once, it's not even Erza!" A raven haired boy laughed loudly. (Sure that I'm using "told off" correctly...)

The pink haired boy turned red. "Shut up! I bet she's not even half as strong as I am!" He yelled.

Lucy clicked her tongue. "Tsk. I beg to differ. I may be no match in magic terms, but I'm confident in my physical skills. I haven't been doing nothing in for 10 years." As not to get bored, Lucy had done many activities as much as she could. She had helped clean, set the dining table, cook, read, and train her magic every once in a while. But the thing she trained most in was her physical training.

Since the incident, she felt that she should do something so she wouldn't get in that kind of situation anymore. Sure she could of trained her magic, but if her keys were taken away from her, then what would she do? So Lucy settled on training her physical strength as to not be useless.

"Then prove it." A boy with piercings all over his face, smirked, leaning against the wall.

Taking the challenge, the pink haired boy said, "Fine, I will." Clenching his hands into a fist, he started to run up to Lucy. She narrowed her eyes at him and the incoming punch. Just as the fist almost reached her, Lucy grabbed his hand.

The boy eyes widened as Lucy coolly said, "Big mistake. But, if it's a fight you want, then it's a fight you'll get." She smirked, pulling his fist behind her and threw him to the wall next to them. Turning her head, she questioned smugly, "Is that all you got?"

The boy growled, standing up again, albeit slowly. He clenched his fists once again, fire forming around it. Lucy raised her eyebrow at this. "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" He yelled, throwing at her, but Lucy moved her head just in time, dodging the attack.

"Fire magic?" Lucy observed. "Interesting magic, but seriously, 'Fire Dragon?' Hahaha! This person's hilarious!" She chuckled a little, holding a hand over her mouth. "Seriously? Fire Dragon's Iron Fist? You're kidding me right?" Lucy laughed a little harder, eventually bursting out laughing.

The boy blushed, embarrassed. "S-s-shut up and fight me!"

Lucy thought about it for a minute before smiling and saying, "No thanks, I'm not really in the mood." But in the back of her mind, Lucy was thinking about what would happen if the fight got any worse. "People may not be here right now, but sooner or later, someone's going to hear the fight. It'll be troublesome if I attract attention." So she went on her way again, hoping that the boy would finally leave her alone. But of course, her wishes weren't answered.

"I said fight me!" The boy growled, a magic circle appearing below him. "Fire Dragon's Wing Attack!" Lucy sighed while laughing a little hearing him. The attack flew towards her, but again she dodged it. Training her physical strength wasn't the only training she did. Of course, she decided to train her speed as well.

"Looks like he's not going to leave me alone until he get's his fight. Let's just get this over with." While the smoke covered the place, Lucy took the chance to sneak up behind him.

When the smoke cleared up, the boy looked around, wondering where the girl he had been fighting with disappeared to. "Where'd you go?"

Smirking, Lucy said in his ear, "Behind you." The boy shivered a little, but turned around to attack. Before he could though, Lucy lifted her leg, kicking him in the stomach. With the impact, he flew to the wall, hitting it hard. He groaned in pain, slouching down to the floor. Lucy walked up to him and crouched down to his face. She smiled and said, "Looks like its my win." She stood up and walked away, but before she did, she glanced at him and said, "Here's some advice. Don't start fights with people you don't know." Then, Lucy continued her walk.

The boy got up, holding his stomach while the raven haired boy laughed again. "Hahaha! You just got beaten by her! God, I'm really loving this girl!"

The fire mage growled at him, but turned to look at Lucy. "Next time I'll beat you! You hear me?!" He shouted. Lucy stopped to turn her head, giving him a small smile before leaving.

"She's a really interesting girl, isn't she Erza?" A long white haired girl smiled.

The scarlet haired girl nodded. "She's quite strong, strong enough to beat Natsu of all people, though she mostly just dodged. But she has skill."

"I know what you mean. Natsu's the strongest in the school and she didn't even have to use magic! Probably because she's a lot smarter than Natsu. A blonde haired boy smirked.

"Hey!" Natsu said angrily.

"She's a man!" A white haired man said, pumping his fist in the air.

"She's a girl though." Everyone's sweat dropped.

Erza crossed her arms and said, "Well I'll do some research on her. I'll see what I can find. But we should get going now, it's starting to get late."

"Yeah, let's go. I'm getting tired anyways." The boy with the piercings said.

They all started to walk to their dorms as the pink haired boy muttered angrily under his breath. But as they did, they didn't notice a short white haired girl stay behind a bit, staring at the place where Lucy had left. She opened her mouth and spoke, saying four words. "I don't like her." She gazed at the place for a while and then ran to catch up with her friends.

(I do NOT hate her! I'm sure you know who it is)

At Lucy's Room (Just think of Lucy's room in Fairy Tail, except smaller.)

Lucy walked out of her bathroom with a towel wrapped around her neck. "Ahh! That was a refreshing bath!" She stretched and then went over to her desk and sat on the chair. Taking out a piece of paper and a pen, she started to write.

Dear Mom,

Today was the first day of school! I made new friends and I also met Levy again! Although, I have to admit, there are some weird people in this school. But this school is a lot of fun and I can't wait to continue my life here at Fairy Tail Academy!

Then Lucy remembered the fight she had. "Even though I told myself I wouldn't cause any commotion, huh." Lucy sighed.

After school, I kind of got in a fight with a boy. I didn't get hurt though, although he did burn my hair a little bit. He had pink hair. I mean PINK hair! What kind of boy has pink hair? But, I don't think I'll be meeting him again though. Well that's all for now, bye mom!"

- Your daughter, Lucy

Lucy folded the paper, and put it in an envelope. She picked it up, walked over to a box, and put the letter in it. Lucy sat on her bed and laid down. Thinking about the boy she asked herself, "I wonder who that boy was?" Then she remembered what Levy had told her earlier that day.

Flashback!

"Oh right, before I forget, don't get involved with the top 7."

"Why not?"

"They're the most powerful in the school! some of them are even some of the strongest in Magnolia! Sometimes, most of them bully new students or the weaker kids. Although they're very popular in the school, most people are scared that they might become their next victims. That's why, you using a fake identity, shouldn't interfere with them!

Flashback End!

"Why did I think about that?" Lucy stared at the ceiling. "Oh well. I hope those people weren't important. (Too bad, they are! :P) Well no use thinking about it now. I'll ask Levy tomorrow." Soon later, she fell asleep.

The Next Day, At School

"Hey Levy, can I ask you something?" Lucy asked.

Levy looked at Lucy as they entered the classroom. "What is it?"

When they got to their seats Lucy explained. "Yesterday, I uh… Kind of got into a fight with someone. I just want to know who he was." Lucy smiled nervously. "Oh, but don't worry. I won the fight and he didn't get too injured."

Levy raised her eyebrow at that. "Okay… So what does he look like, I might know him."

Lucy thought about the boy. "Well, he had the weirdest hair color. I mean it was pink of all col-" She started, but was soon interrupted when someone slammed opened the door.

"Hey, is there a blonde chick in here?" A boy asked. Lucy looked up to see the pink haired boy from yesterday.

"Ah, speak of the devil. That was the boy I fought with." Lucy whispered quietly.

Levy's eyes widened. "W-what?! You shouldn't have!" She exclaimed quietly.

Lucy tilted her head in confusion. "Why not?"

Frantically looking at the boy and Lucy, she explained, "He's one of the Top 8. The top strongest in the school, Natsu Dragneel!"

Lucy's expression froze. "Huh."

But before Levy could say anything else, the pink haired boy's eyes narrowed and he pointed at Lucy. "You." Lucy could only turn her head around and look at him. "It was you."

With her expression still in shock, Lucy thought, "Dear Kami-sama, Mom, my life just turned to a bad turn." And Lucy believed that starting a fight with him was, on that day, her one mistake.

I think this chapter ended pretty well. I hope nothing was too bad though. Just so you know, I do not hate Lisanna! I just need an enemy, well in this case, a love rival. I mean every story needs an enemy right? And again I'm really sorry about the update! It's all my fault that I'm naive... -_- Well I hoped you liked it! That reminds me, I'm not good at grammer... - Work of my 'grammer' 3 years ago. I know it's grammar and for all new readers, it was REAALLLY bad.
