"Blondie should we go and get dinner and talk? I am hungry and you ate all that food on the train!"
Lucy grinned at Sting but nodded. She was still annoyed at the two boys but she was trying to get over her initial thoughts of them and start again. She was, after all going to be spending the next two months with them.
"Yes."
Lucy, Sting and Rogue walked out of the inn and down the street. Lucy looked around and saw small restraunt down the other end of the street. It was busy, crowded and loud and somwhere Lucy wouldn't usually go.
"Let's go there Lucy and Sting."
Lucy just nodded as she didn't to cause a fuss and they headed down the street. Lucy walked in the middle of Sting and Rogue and was dwarfed by the size of them. She felt though a weird sense of fulfilment, though she just shrugged it off and ignored it. She could not trust these two men that just a night ago had made fun of her because she was upset. The restraunt was even louder when they got there and Lucy looked up at Sting and Rogue hesitantly.
"Here?"
"What's wrong Blondie? Scared of a little noise?"
Lucy shook her head determindly and just walked straight in, ahead of the two men. Lucy looked around and saw a dance floor full of people dancing to the side and on the other side was tables with people eating and laughing. As soon as the three walked in, people stared at them as they all were well known. Boys stared at Lucy and girls stared at Sting and Rogue. At once they were seated at one of their best tables and though Lucy had no idea they were being stared at; Sting and Rogue knew and glared at the men who stared at Lucy and lavished in the stares of the girls. They loved being the centre of attention after all.
Lucy looked at the menu, trying to decide what to have when there were so many choices when two girls walked up to them. They were obviously more than a little tipsy and smiled widely at Sting and Rogue.
"Hello Sting and Rogue! Remember us?"
Lucy flicked her eyes from the two beautiful girls to Sting and Rogue who looked at them thoughtfully for a second and then their eyes lit up with glee. Sting jumped up and hugged the blonde one, pulled back and gave her a quick kiss on the lips.
"How could I forget you my angel? We had such a good time last time!"
Rogue had stood up as well and the brown haired girl clung to his arm. Lucy watched the four for a second and then stood up.
"Excuse me guys I need to use the bathroom."
Lucy just walked away. Rogue watched Lucy walk away and turned to Sting to tell him they should stay with Lucy, but Sting was already off dancing with the blonde. His girl, whose name he had totally forgotten, dragged him to the dance floor as well. The music turned up and they all danced. Sting and Rogue soon forgot about Lucy as they grinded their bodies against the beautiful girls they were with.
Lucy left the bathroom a few minutes later and saw Sting and Rogue.
"Well there goes that."
Deciding what to do, Lucy went to the bar and sat down. She swivelled around in her seat and glanced at the two men who were supposed to be with her.
"Can I help you with something?"
Lucy turned back to the bar and saw a handsome bartender smiling at her. Lucy smiled back and nodded.
"Yes can I get a beer please."
The bartender nodded, grabbed her a beer and gave it to her.
"I saw that you were ditched. Did you want me to kick the four of them out for you? It is wrong to leave a beautiful girl like you alone."
Lucy's face suddenly became guarded as she thought that the bartender was a weirdo. He saw her expression change and quickly waved his hands and shook his head.
"Don't think that I am a creep please. I am not I assure you. I was just making a joke. I am Alexander by the way. If you need anything just ask and I can get it for you. I own this place."
Lucy relaxed instantly and smiled at him.
"Thank you and you own this place? But you are so young!"
Alexander laughed and nodded.
"I won this place fair and square from a man that was using this place as a dump spot for his rubbish. It was disgusting in here and I got it cleaned up and started this place."
Lucy giggled, turned a little and glanced at Sting and Rogue but they were gone. They had disappeared! Lucy turned her chair the rest of the way around and looked harder but they were definitley gone.
"Damn."
Lucy turned back to the bar and sighed dejectedly. She didn't think that she was that bad of company but then again they were from Sabertooth so they were like that. Lucy took a sip of her beer and looked for Alexander again but he was serving other customers.
"What am I going to do now?"
She had no idea if Sting and Rogue had gone back the inn and didn't really want to walk in on them if they did. But she had only a few jewels on her and she would have to spend them on the beer. Lucy just sat there, sipping her beer wondering what to do when there was a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Alexander with a jacket on and a bag.
"You have been here for a while. Where are you staying?"
"I am staying at the inn but the two men that were with me might be there with those girls so I don't want to go back there."
Alexander nodded and looked around slowly and then looked back to Lucy who was watching him curiously.
"Have you had dinner yet?"
Lucy shook her head and smiled.
"No. I was supposed to have dinner with the two idiots who left me."
Alexander took Lucy's hand and led her to a table. He pulled out a chair and sat her down in it. Lucy stumbled over her words and looked at him sadly.
"I don't have any jewels on me."
Alexander just laughed and ordered for them. Lucy listened in as he spoke animatley with the waitress and giggled as it seemed like he ordered the whole menu. When Alexander was done, he turned back to Lucy and smiled charmingly.
"So, you still haven't told me your name. I have done everything and you still haven't been polite enough to tell me."
Lucy giggled and nodded, she would tell Alexander her name, it was the least she could do.
"I am Lucy Heartfilia, a mage from Fairy Tail!"
Alexander looked at Lucy with surprise and then laughed. He laughed hard and placed his hand on the table to keep himself up. Lucy looked at him confused and wondered what on earth he could be luaghing about. When Alexander finally settled down he wiped some tears and looked at the confused Lucy.
"I am sorry Lucy Heartfilia, I just didn't expect you to say that. I should have recognised you though, your team is always on the front of the magazines."
Lucy was still confused about what he found so funny but shrugged it off. She was not going to be rude to the person that was feeding her.
"Well I am."
The food arrived and they started to eat and chat happily. Suddeny there were two shadows behind Lucy and she watched Alexander's face pale. Lucy turned around slowly and saw Sting and Rogue standing there glaring at Alexander.
"What are you doing with a man Blondie. We were waiting for you at the inn but you didn't come home."
Lucy looked at Sting in rage and stood up from her chair making people stare at them in interest. Lucy looked around before she could say anything and just glared at Sting and Rogue who glared back. She turned to Alexander and smiled a little.
"Thank you for a wonderful night Alexander, I am sure we will meet again."
Alexander looked at Sting and Rogue before turning to Lucy with concern.
"If you don't want to stay with these guys, I have a spare room in my home. You can stay there if you like."
Lucy heard twin growls from behind her and just shook her head. She had no idea why Sting and Rogue were acting like that when they had just come back from being with two girls.
"No thank you Alexander, I will be alright."
Lucy watched Alexander look at her with growing concern. Before he could say anything else she grabbed Stin
