Hello, fellow readers! I'm well aware it has been years since I've last updated this. A lot of things have happened since the last chapter. However, my love for The Lego Movie and Frozen has not died. Let's just say it's improved.

Anyone seen The Lego Movie 2 already? Anyone excited for Frozen 2 coming soon?

Before even seeing The Lego Movie sequel, I have contemplated possibly redoing the entire story. Looking back, I didn't exactly like where this story was going. I felt like I was trying to hard to be "Disney/Warner Brothers" correct and making things exactly as they should be because Frozen and Lego fans expect that.

But if I learned anything from watching The Lego Movie: The Second Part, it's that making an adaption doesn't have to be EXACTLY the same as the rest, or follow the entire franchise to death. I mean, look at all the different adaptions of Batman; people have a favorite (although the one from the recent DC movies really sucks...). And then I recall during the year of Frozen, a lot of people actually liked Evil Elsa, which was the original idea for Frozen's plot.

So now that I've seen The Second Part, and well aware of Frozen 2 happening, "Do You Want to Build Something Awesome?" will be completely redone. :)

I apologize to everyone who had still clung to anticipation over an update despite how long it's been. And I hope you'll stick around for when I make the redone version, as I also hope to gain new readers in the future.

Also, I am currently working on a story on Deviantart that would be considered something akin to an ULTIMATE story...only better, more improved, no Mary-Sue-ing, and plenty of feels and nostalgia.

It's called "The Default in Our Stars". It starts off with The Amazing World of Gumball and the short-lived Nick show 'Robot and Monster'. Go check it out on my Deviantart page!

If you like my stuff, follow and subscribe, same for my Deviantart page as cartuneslover16. :)

NOTE: To make up for having to read that boring announcement, the least I could do before making you guys wait for the redone version is getting to read what was supposed to be the next chapter of this story. If it feels like it got ended on a cliffhanger, I'm sorry, that's as far as I went before writer's block hit. XD

To rob someone was one thing, but to rob someone with the addition of a child was practically immoral. A fiery rage within the ice queen only increased, and Elsa knew she couldn't just step aside and allow this fiend to take off with someone's child in tow. She needed to be careful though. The last time she let this kind of anger consume her, she nearly took the lives of two people.

But she had enough time after that incident to learn control. Elsa composed herself, hands at her sides like a bird preparing to fly for the first time. Her blue eyes narrowed with determination, her thoughts focused only on the child that needed someone to save her.

Emmet watched in astonishment, even as he stood to the side. "Elsa!" he cried, trying to gesture her to follow him. "Elsa, get out of there!"

She hardly heard him, nor the honks that blared from the stolen vehicle that was aiming towards her.

"Hey, princess!" the thief yelled from the steering wheel. "Get out of the way!"

That name only infuriated her even more. People nearby stopped and pointed at her, watching as ice sizzled from her fingers like firecrackers being lit.

"I'm not a princess..." she said in a deep, maintained tone.

Emmet swiveled from the direction of the car to his friend. She was not budging.

"Elsa!" he screamed as he rushed toward to save her.

Before either he or the vehicle even touched her, a luminous ray of white erupted, nearly blinding everyone.

Raising her hands, the queen of Arendelle set her powers at high, sending wave after wave of ice at the car that intended to hit her.

"I'm a QUEEN!" she roared spitefully, blasting the car with another heavy dose of her gift.

The thief inside didn't see that coming, nor did he expect the car to suddenly come to a halt. The abrupt stop nearly threw him out of his seat. He tried for the gas again, the engine crying frantically with lack of mobility. Growling in frustration, he tried to throw the door open, to no avail. Even more irritated, he thumped his arm against it repeatedly, the crunching of ice aggravating to his ears.

Finally, he managed to throw the door open and leap out. Not before sliding on a sheet of ice, and nearly dropping to his knees. The car he tried to steal was hardly recognizable, not with that transparent, glossy exterior the "alien" somehow bestowed upon it. Realizing it was not worth stealing now, he tried to make a run for it, hobbling off the ice.

However, Elsa saw it coming, and raised a hand at him.

"Freeze," she said in a rather mischievous tone as ice shot out from her fingers.

Just as the thief was about to dash in the other direction, his entire body remained on the spot. Having been frozen during the battle against former Lord Business, he expected to feel a hardened substance that would glue him in place forever. However, it was not that itchy stuff that made sure every piece of him was immobile, but a rather frosty layer. He found himself shivering, his body unable to move save for his teeth that were now chattering.

Elsa smirked, lowering her hand and admiring her work. She was startled when she felt something wrap around her waist. The queen peered down and noticed Emmet embrace her, his claw-like hands able to hold her so.

"Oh, thank goodness you're alright!" he cried with relief. "You are alright, right?" He loosened his hold and looked up at her. "Any scratches? Bumps? Did he hurt you in anyway?"

She smiled appreciatively. "No, actually, Emmet, it was just-"

"Oh, my God, Nancy!"

Both turned to witness the mother of said child use her claw hands to slap ice out of the backseat. Others assisted her, breaking and shoving away chunks of ice for the terrorized family. It was unlike any kind of ice they had ever seen, not even the kind they used for drinks. The usual warmness of day was completely overcome by a chill that sifted from where the incident took place.

Finally, the mother reached her daughter, cautiously carrying the child out of the backseat.

"Are you okay?" she asked the smaller figure.

Elsa smiled, relieved to see the union.

However, the daughter began to shiver in her mother's arms.

"Cold!" she said. "Really cold!"

Suddenly, Elsa's pride depleted instantly. Her blue eyes grew to the size of snowballs, and that strong feeling she had previously just vanished. She watched as the mother cloaked her child in a blanket, still, the little girl shivered.

The queen's surroundings began to disappear, and all she could see in front of her was a younger Elsa. That little snow blonde child was on the verge of tears, face filled with remorse as she tried to awaken her little sister, whom she accidentally shot with her powers. Cries echoed throughout the walls of white, something created by what she thought had been a gift.

That memory immediately disappeared, Elsa suddenly reeling back to reality as she heard Emmet call her name.

"Elsa?" the orange-clad yellow figure asked her once more. "You okay?"

Her eyes slowly lowered to his, her heart still heavy from that memory. "I..."

"It was her!" someone shouted.

Elsa gasped in alarm, noticing that a few people were pointing their yellowed claws in her direction. The mother and daughter stared at her, their faces unreadable. But Elsa didn't need to read them. She already knew what they were thinking.

Once more, memories began flooding in, mainly that night of her coronation. How the people stared at her, backed away from her...because she was a monster. Now these people, these completely different people that were not even human, considered her that now. She had only been in this world for one day, and already she nearly destroyed it.

She began to take a few steps back, realizing that mother and daughter were coming in her direction. Emmet noticed this, swiveling his head toward his friend.

"Elsa?" he asked in confusion. "What are you-"

The snow queen shook her head, and Emmet was horrified to see tears stream down her pale cheeks.

"I...I didn't mean for this..." she said painfully. "I'm...I'm sorry!"

Before Emmet could even reach toward her, Elsa's hands glowed and she shot at the space between them. He shielded his eyes before it was all over. In front of him and everyone else were tall barricades made of ice, completely separating them from her. The other people gasped, murmuring as they regarded this new trick the newcomer had established.

"Elsa!" Emmet cried, rushing forward, only to slam face-first into the icy walls. "Okay, I didn't think that through..." he groaned as his yellow head slid down the block of ice.

At least she didn't extend the walls like traffic barriers, would probably have to climb all the ice and get his bum chilled. He quickly rushed around the ice wall, just in time to see Elsa dash off, her beautiful dress flailing behind her.

"Elsa!" he screamed.

"What's going on?"

He turned to regard the mother from earlier, her daughter now having warmed up. Both looked incredibly worried.

"Is she okay?" the mother asked. "I wanted to thank her so much for saving my Nancy!"

"She's cool!" Nancy exclaimed. "Like Batman cool!"

Emmet just stared at them for a moment, and then immediately started running after his friend.

"Elsa!" he cried after her.

But apparently it seemed she was the better runner at this point. She already disappeared in the busy streets of Bricksburg. The construction worker stopped in his tracks, unable to spot that tall woman anywhere.

"Elsa!" he screamed, his voice straining the more he called her name.

Lord Business peered his head out the window of the police cruiser, noticing they were nearing the market where the incident took place. The station had already been alerted, and considering this involved that "alien woman", he had become extremely worried for Emmet.

The parking lot was overcome with police vehicles, several officers questioning witnesses on the event that took place. Four officers were already busy carefully hauling the still frozen criminal into the back of a truck, which would be on its way to the jail. Yellow tape squared around the section where the stolen car was still positioned, forcing incoming shoppers to drive off to park somewhere else. Doctors were on the scene checking the girl who had formerly been a hostage.

NOTE: Sorry, that's it. Stay tuned for the new version! XD
