Pirates of the Caribbean: The Death Sword

EP 1:The Meeting

He smiled back at her in response as he tried to figure out how interesting could be to know what he had in mind, when the true bet on Jack's head was to find out what was on hers.

"...It's funny of ya to ask luv," He admitted with a slightly shade of irony hissing through his voice. " 'Cuz once more ya got me tied, and I've no way to find wat exactly ya've in mind..." He moved away. Walking around the table like a shadow carrying the whole weight of the night. The sound of his bear footsteps creped all over the room, heavier than that severe atmosphere punishing the two hearts which were just biting the grave of that baffling silence.

She folded her arms, confusion reflected upon her eyes (or maybe that's what she wanted to pretend to be) as examined his posture. His figure seemed to approach cautiously. Jack's eyeballs were widely open, pupils inspecting her back like bullets through holes. He was testing her, she would presume, that or he was accusing her of something!

"What is the problem in here Jack? And why are you even so tense?" She decided to aboard him directly to avoid killing time, as time was something they didn't had to spare.

"Dunno Angelica… Should I be not?"

She held herself from answering him because he was starting to sound too accusing, and she was just hating it as she couldn't figure out what really was going through his mind.

The report floated to the top of the table and Jack sat right next to it, facing her. She bit her lower lip as if she ever tried to open her mouth to say something, some smashing teethes would come out and bite him for every word he would say.

"Angelica…" He begun but she immediately cut him out as expected.

"What is exactly your point!?" Starting to feel the rage for being accused on something he was only speculating. "You wanted your beloved ship, I gave you that right back to you in exchange for your help with this!" She took a step forward so they would be face to face and meet eye to eye. " I don't ask you much but to FOR ONCE be there for me!" She told him with a sudden shatter ringing on her voice. The seriousness on her tone and expression made Jack feel a little uncomfortable and surprised though he didn't showed so. She was a high tempered woman, and Jack always took the best out of that, but this time, it's was the turn to be clear and think straight as whatever decisions they would make now, could definitely influence the course for their future. Jack though that it would be wiser to bring his priorities into conversation, while he still had the chance, and put all of the doubts and conditions on the table.

"Fair enough…" He managed to say. " But for getting' me ship and crew into this messy, I say I FIRSTLY need to be convinced that we can go and return in one piece." He stated that with a clear voice, taking every second to look deeper in her eyes. Jack seemed fully conscious of the danger that they would put themselves in if they ever made it just to the fog surrounding the lands of Bermuda, but again, the risk was not a concern for the Captain Jack Sparrow, so for that reason she knew he was bluffing. "Though…" He paused uncertain if he should say this. "… knowin' ya as I do, I'd say, that me primary concern should be not knowin' wat for are we goin' to pile that… sword." She heard him very quiet and carefully, not manifesting at all, just to hear him state the reason that was making him want to take back his word. She could tell that he was being honest times time because his eyes were themselves avoiding to intercept that subject. Suddenly he took a deep breath as she was just too lost in herself to tell him what he needed. "So may I ask ya" His voice interrupted her thoughts." wat the bloody hell are ya plannin' to do if we manage to succeed on this mess darlin'?" .He was clearly asking her for telling him the purpose why she wanted that sword so badly, with a sudden tone of urgency and speculation. What was he thinking? What could he possibly think that she was going to use the power in that sword for?

Now that she thought about that, it just came to him when she mentioned her father. She just needed to mention him…! GOD DAMN HIM! Isn't it too obvious that if he ever suspected she was about to bring the martyr Blackbeard back from the dead, he wouldn't even bother to show her some interest but yet to figure out a way to completely ruin her plan?! She wouldn't expect him to be any different than that, so why did he even got to that conclusion?! Why the hell would she even ask him to join her when he is the one who knows her ways better than anyone else and like no one else so he could tell if she was lying or not? Was she that distrustful to his eyes? He was the one telling lies for truth and truth for lies, if she did it once or twice it was all his fault, he taught her, but beyond that, it was always him the one who was all full of mysteries and who hid his personal intentions to streak anyone in the back whenever he could find a way to get just what he longed for!

After a long shot of deadly glares, Angelica took a deep breath and decided to finish with that atmosphere of distrust.

" I can guarantee you that you and your ship, and crew, will be alive and safe on our way for and back Jack, If that's all you care for…" She began by saying, just to pretend she bought his bluff. "But I can also secure you that I don't plan to use the sword to bring my dead father back as you so predictably thought I would."

Thank you very much for your reviews, favs and alerts, it means just too much to me and I feel that this time I'm going to put a end on this story if we keep this though it might take long...

I've to say that I had this part ready to be published for a few days but I kept holding for making a double part that would make this more interesting already, but due some unfortunaties and my students association list's affairs, I had to be a little off my work... but good news are the next part is already done in dialogue terms, I just need to make the descriptions and stuff to make it have consistency and then we jump into the adventure :b (I really think that this much dialogue Anglica-Jack is needed for you to understand the purposes, why they decided to go, what reasons lie beyond the characters to decide to take this journey... because it's not just 'hey let's make a trip to bermuda to find a really badass item'. For what I've seen through the POTC movie plots, there are really small details that don't seem relevant at a time but it all happens to be carried through the future for a purpose, like a completly perfect embedded puzzle.

I will keep answering your questions and suggestion through this section of the chapters, here bellow
