Remember what I said about expecting a short chapter? Well here it is, and it is short. It was supposed to be shorter but I decided to add something that was part of the next chapter.

Sorry it took a while, you know the usual excuses, school, work, life and/or just being lazy.

Anyway please review.

Chapter 4

Previously:

"Are you sure it's alright to mark this?" Gajeel wondered taking the map from Jellal, looking at the red line which supposedly marks the river. He doubt the people, where Jellal got the map, would be happy if they returned it with a red line written on it. There are very few maps of the forest, it wasn't a tourist spot.

"Yes, they said I could have it" Jellal snatched the piece of paper from Gajeel and started walking again. The guys shook their heads and stared following him. And deeper into the forest they went.

Behind the trees, far from the boys. If one were quiet enough, one would hear the sound of giggles and whispers.

"The one with pink hair is weird" a voice said

"Lots of people have pink hair" another voice said

"Not guys"

"I like the one with short raven hair" a third voice joined the conversation

The others giggled.

"Shall we entertain them?" a new, fourth voice said

"Can we?" all three voices asked, their owners' eyes filled with mischief and excitement.

"As long as we be... nice to them"

"Yay!"

And the four voices went their merry way.

"How much longer..." Natsu whined. They've been walking for what seemed like hours to the pinkette.

"Quit your complaining" Gajeel said even though he was equally annoyed with all the walking.

"You're the one who got us in this dilemma in the first place" Gray added

"Don't remind me!"

"Did any of you bring a flashlight?" Jellal suddenly asked, any signs of a fight ensuing evaporated with his question.

"Why? Don't tell me we'll be staying here for the night!" Natsu continued to whine.
