Inuyasha was restless. He had spent hours trying to break free from the strange tubes in him they called ivs. The restraints holding him there were still holding him there, no matter how hard he tried fighting them off. He even tried fighting off the people who came into his room to observe him, but they too were too strong, for they had a secret weapon called a sedative that drained him of his strength.

But Inuyasha wasn't worried about himself, he was worried for Kagome. He knew he pushed her out of the way of the oncoming car in time, but was that enough? Was she alright? The people coming in wouldn't answer his questions, he had begged them to tell him what happened to her, but they were just treating him like some kind of animal, like a monster and he hated it. all he could do is lay there trying to think of a way to get to her. His thoughts carried him all the way late into the night.

Kagome opened the door to the hospital room she was staying in, carefully and only enough to peek out of it. She abandoned her ivs and stood in her hospital gown looking up and down the hallway to make sure no one was coming. She was going to see Inuyasha. When she saw that the coast was clear she tip toed slowly out of the room, closing the door just as gently as when she opened it.

She slipped past the nurse's desk by bending down low, ignoring any pain she was having and headed towards Inuaysha's room. She wasn't sure how, but it was like she instinctively knew where to go. She sneaked through a few different hallways before coming to a room with a large window and stopped.

She gasped some as her eyes fell on Inuyasha, asleep on the bed, his wrists and ankles bound. A tear rolled down her face, how could he be treated like this? How could the man she loved and who saved her be tied up in such a way. She had to get to him. she turned the knob of the door but it wouldn't open, it was locked. No, it couldn't be, she was so close.

She put her forehead on the door in defeat with her hand rested on the knob, "Inuyasha.." she whispered. Then, a pink light appeared under her hand that rested on the knob. Her eyes widened and slowly turned the knob and found that it was slowly turning with her effort this time. The door opened to a crack and when she let go, the light disapeared. She shook her head stunned, she'll have to figure out how that was possible later.

She opened the door and stepped inside.
