And now Asami is up. I think I'm done for now. Thanks for reading.

"Now that I'm older I can say that I forgive.…because it's the mature things to do. But I probably honestly don't mean it."

Girls are rude. That's just how it is. That's how it's always been for her. Asami can't count on her hand how many times another girl has judged her based on her physical appearance. Because of her big chest they automatically assumed she is a typical ditzy girl or at the least a girl who sleeps with any man. They look at her skirt length and think the same thing. They look at her hair and makeup and think she has to make her eyes look bigger and her hair to frame her face.

But that isn't true.

In reality other girls are stuffing their bras to make their chest look bigger. They say her skirt is so short because she is looking for attention but the truth is that theirs it just as short. They talk about how bad her eyeliner is applied but most of the time she isn't wearing any makeup besides lip gloss and mascara. They talk about how poorly done up her hair is but she doesn't say anything about the patch of their hair that isn't straightened or that is losing its curl. They criticize her but they are doing the same thing.

Asami doesn't care, Mei tells her not to. She already knew this but having a friend, who is female-who isn't against her-makes her feel better. Yamato and Nakanishi tell her the same, Aiko does too. And even Megumi and Kai say there is nothing wrong with her, she is a good person.

That was in High School, though. Her life changed after that. She lost half of her friends when she went to University; Yamato and Nakanishi got into a different University, she has no classes with Kai and only a few with Mei. Megumi went back to her life as a model; who needs education when you already have enough money hidden away to survive. And Aiko decides not to go all together.

It was the same, just as before, with the other girls. With only Mei and Nakanishi she started to feel lonely. She would see him every weekend, when he came up with Yamato to visit her and Mei. After a while only Yamato would show up-his and Mei's relationship just as strong as ever. Before the year was over Kenji Nakanishi broke up with her, saying he was too busy with School to have time with her; but she knew better. And it was okay.

She would sit in her small apartment, alone, at her desk thinking about the boy she loved. She really did because he loved her for more than her body….she thought so. And now that he wasn't around anymore she felt just like she did before she met Yamato. She keeps it to herself and studies hard; Mei notices.

"Maybe get a part time job?", Mei suggests.

Asami thinks it's a great idea. And she knows just where is hiring. She goes to the Clothing Department Store just a few blocks away from her apartment complex. Before she can ask if the position is still open the man behind the register offers her the job; she accepts. And the next day she begins training and she sells her first item-a yellow shirt with ruffled sleeves. She sales it to a girl who must be in High School still, she reminds her of the girls that teased her.

Everyday after that she goes to work, she loves her job. She thinks she likes it so much because all the girls that come in ask her for her advice.

"What color shirt would look best with this bag?"

"Do I have the right body type for this pant length?"

"Can I wear hair accessories with this top or will it be too busy?"

"Should my shoes match my bag or my earrings?"

Not once had anyone teased her. It was the opposite. Her classmates even befriend her and visit her at work, invite her to parties, and girl nights out. Again, no one teased her to her face. They all waited until her back was turned and she couldn't hear. They wait until she is busy with a customer and out of ear shot but she can still hear them. They all act like they are still in High School, but Asami doesn't say anything to them. It's not worth it.

Mei comes by one day, Yamato and Kai are with her. As well as another man she has never seen before but feels like she has. As it turns out he is a friend of Kai's, his name is Tori, and also in one of Asami's classes. He jokes and says now that he knows where she works he will have to stalk her. And he does just that. Everyday he comes with lunch for her and is there to walk her home; surprisingly they live in the same apartment complex. Asami doesn't mind, she likes the attention and compliments he gives her.

She isn't teased again for years. At least not to her face she isn't. It isn't until the Graduation Party that she hears the other girls talking. They talk about how she works at a cheap Clothing Store and they pick apart her appearance.

"Can you believe she wore that?"

"I can't believe she doesn't wear something to cover up her chest."

"I bet they're fake."

"Ahaha, for sure."

But she ignores it. In the crowd she see's her friends; Mei and Yamato, Aiko and Masashi, Kai and Megumi, and even Tori. Mixed in are the girls that call her their friend. She gets up and speaks out, to everyone of her Graduating Class. She thanks everyone; her Teachers, her classmates, the friends she's made and her old friends. When she is done she goes back into the crowd and everyone congratulates her on a great speech.

Years later she is sitting at the vanity in her old bedroom of her Parent's House. She's checking every small detail on her dress, cutting every loose thread. She's smoothing out her make up in every crease. She makes sure that her hair is perfect and none of the flower pins are tightened in her hair. She has to look perfect; it's her wedding day after all.

Asami gets up and peeks out the window, the back yard is beautiful. There are rows of chairs and a silk walkway through the middle of the aisle. There are so many flowers, all different colors and shapes; giant blooms that match the small ones in her hair. There are groups scattered about, her friends and family, talking amongst each other, glasses in their hands or a plate of food.

She see's Tori, down in his suit talking with his Parents and hers. It's their big day.

"It's really a double standard you know." Aiko says from the bed, she doesn't look up from her magazine. "That you can secretly watch the Man of the Hour but he can't see the Bride until she's ready to walk down the aisle."

"I agree.", Mei adds looking down at her watch. "It's almost time. Are you ready?"

"In just a minute. I'll be down in a minute."

Asami watches her two friends get up and walk to the door. Mei stops and turns around.

"You look beautiful, Asami.", Mei tells her.

It helps calm her. The truth is she is so nervous; not in a bad way. This is the best day of her life.

She walks away from the window and checks herself in the mirror one more time as she passes. She slips her shoes on and makes her way through the hall, down the stairs, and the stretch to the back door. She steadies herself and takes a deep breath in. With one hand out to open the door she takes a step forward.

"Oooohhhh my God."

"Can you believe this?"

"I can't!"

She hears the voices of her friends; Sakura, Hana, and Yuri. She met them at University, her first friends there besides Mei and Kai.

"Why even bother wearing a white dress?", Hana laughs.

"Can you believe she isn't even going to bind down her chest?", Sakura clicks her tongue.

"And look at these decorations.", Yuri laughs. "So lame and tacky."

They go on, obviously they don't know she is just behind the door. It's nothing new, what they are saying but it still hurts like it's the first time she is hearing it. It makes her want to cry. But she doesn't, she tells herself she can't. She is the bigger person, she tells herself. And after all, it's her wedding day; she doesn't want to ruin her makeup.

The wedding bells ring and the three girls leave, ready to take their seats. The rest of her wedding goes perfectly.

Even so that night she sits on the bed, and she cries. She cries over all the hurtful things people have said to her, about her, behind her back when they think she isn't listening, and what she's heard said secondhand. Crying over it makes her feel better, because she knows nothing will change if she did the same. But a smile can make everything better. She doesn't stop when Tori comes in.

"Why are you crying?"

She doesn't lie. She tells him she is crying because she is happy. Because he is hers and they are forever.

I know this one kind of sucked. In all honesty it's been like two years since I've read the manga or watched the anime, maybe even longer. I'm not a huge Asami fan but I don't' hate her. I just felt kind of bad that this was the last chapter and it hasn't been done or updated and well yeah. So here it is, as crappy as possible. Thank you everyone for reading and hanging in there.
