Otis and Oona walked in. They didn't see Olive or Oscar, but they heard some noise. "Who was that?" Otis asked. "I'm not sure. It sounded like Oscar." Oona said. "Oh come on Oona. It's not Oscar. Probably Otto." Otis said. Otis and Oona left the room. "Well that was close. Oscar, you have to be quiet!" Olive yelled. "Sorry. I was just having fun. Yesterday I wasn't in the mood but I'm back to my normal self now." Oscar said.
"Yeah I can tell." Olive said. "Sorry." Oscar said. "Why are you sorry?" Olive asked. "Well I thought you were annoyed at me." Oscar said. Olive sighed. "So what do you want to talk about now? Or maybe I should shut up. Not you. I have to keep my mouth shut." Oscar said. Olive looked at him. Oscar was being weird. "Why?" Olive asked.
"Am I talking too much? I think I am." Oscar said. Olive sighed. "Do whatever you want. I think Otto's coming." Olive said. "Okay." Oscar said. Otto walked into the room. "Olive? Oscar? Where are they? Oh well. I guess I'll leave this sandwich here." Otto said and he put the sandwich on the ground.
"Why would he leave a sandwich here? Oh wait I think I know why. He's probably waiting for one of us to grab it before coming in the room. He's also outside the door." Olive said. "Okay. Just don't grab it. Why am I so hungry?" Oscar asked. "Because you've been sick. I wasn't gonna grab it anyway." Olive said. "I'm so hungry but I'm not going to take it. It's a trap." Oscar said.
"Olive didn't say anything. She just stared off in space then started crying and she hoped that Oscar didn't notice her. Oscar was trying to think of something else. Yesterday he was sick. He was too sick to eat anything. Now he's back to himself and there's a sandwich but it's a trap. Olive was still staring into space.
"Don't think about it. Don't think about it. Don't think about it." Oscar said to himself. Olive looked at Oscar. "Are you alright Olive?" Oscar asked. Olive didn't answer. Meanwhile, Otto was waiting for Olive or Oscar to get the sandwich. "Come on. I can't wait all day." Otto said.
Olive heard Otto. So she took one of the plastic balks that was in the ball pit and threw it at the sandwich, crushing it. Then she started laughing like crazy, but not like Odd Todd. Otto heard the laughing. "Hey! Olive? Is that you?" Otto asked. Oscar gasped. He didn't like that Olive was laughing like crazy.
"Shh! Otto might hear you." Oscar whispered. Olive covered her mouth but she was still laughing. "Okay. That's good so far." Oscar said. Olive threw another plastic ball at the sandwich. Smashing it more and she kept laughing. "Will you please stop?" Oscar asked. "Why? Oscar, my plan is to throw them smashing the sandwich which will make him have to get another which will give us time to talk before he comes back." Olive said. "But if you want me to stop, I'll stop."
"Yes. Stop." Oscar said. "Okay then." Olive said in an annoyed tone. "Fine!" Oscar yelled. Then Olive crawled away covering herself with plastic balls and getting away from Oscar by going to the other side of the ball pit. Oscar walked out of the ball pit and ran to Otto. "Otto! What are you doing!?" Oscar asked. "Sorry Oscar." Otto said.
Olive looked around and she saw that Oscar left. She was sad and she covered herself up. "Oh no. What have I've done?" Oscar asked. He jumped back into the ball put and found Olive. "Olive? I'm so sorry." Oscar said. Olive was quiet. "I understand if you don't want to talk to me anymore." Oscar said. Oscar got out of the ball pit and sighed. He didn't leave the room. He sat down on the floor.
"What the heck did I do!? I'm such an idiot! Olive hates me." Oscar said. "It's not true Oscar. She's just having a very rough day." Otto said. Then Olive crashed into something and it made a loud noise. Oscar and Otto saw Olive. Olive tried to get up, but she hurt her ankle. "Uh oh. Dr. O!" Otto yelled. "Yes? You called me?" Dr. O asked. Olive finally got up and she ignored the pain and ran off to hide somewhere.
"Olive hurt herself. We need to help her!" Otto yelled. "Well I just saw her run off into a room." Dr. O said. Olive went into a room. It had a dark corner. Olive's ankle was still bruised. "Can you please help her?" Otto asked. "We tried to but she doesn't want to talk to us. She doesn't want to talk to me ever again." Oscar said sadly. "That's not true Oscar." Otto said.
"Guys, she's still your friends she'd just had a hard time with someone in her family in the hospital. Come with me and we'll talk to her." Dr. O said. "Okay. Let's go Oscar. Oscar?" Otto asked. "You go, I'll stay here." Oscar said. "Oscar please come." Dr. O said. "Yeah come on Oscar." Otto said. Oscar sighed. "Okay." Oscar said. "Otto go on ahead. I need to ask Oscar something private." Dr. O said. "Sure. I'll see you later Oscar." Otto said and he walked away.
"Am I in trouble?" Oscar asked. "No. I just got a question. Do you...uh maybe sort of like Olive? I mean you act like you do and in the ball pit, you did." Dr. O said. " Olive's one of my best friends. Of course I like her. We're good friends." Oscar said. "Oscar, not just as a friend. Do you like her more than a friend? I'm sorry if I'm bothering you. I'm just curious." Dr. O said.
Oscar sighed. "Dr. O, please don't tell anyone this." Oscar said. Dr. O nodded. "Yes. I do. In fact, I have a crush on her." Oscar said. Dr. O gasped.
