New Movie
I came walking into the main den and found Kovu, Simba, Nala, Kiara, and Sarafina lying about, looking rather bored. I sighed and cleared my throat to get their attention. Luckily it worked; the five lifted their heads and gave me spine-chilling glares. What was their problem? Simba was the first to get up, he growled, "Well, where the fuck have you been!?"
"Uh…what," I questioned. He face-pawed and clarified, "It's been two years since you've updated any of our stories! TWO FUCKING YEARS!"
I mumbled an apology, but it's not like it's my fault; I didn't realize they would get bored so quickly. They're lions for fucks sake! Go kill some animals, maim a few humans…smoke all the weed or something! I watched Nala slowly rise, walked over to me, and asked trying not to sound too cold, "So, what brought you here?"
I gasped in remembrance. I beamed and exclaimed, "I have some really great news!" They all looked at me a bit confused, since I never got this excited. I finished, "You all are going to have another movie!"
They all gaped in awe and then started cheering.
"YES!"
"Finally!"
"I can't believe this is happening!"
Kiara ran up to me-more like a fast waddle (A/N: I really need to make her have them babbies) - and asked, "When is it coming out?"
"Well, it's coming out in November 2016," I said pretty hesitantly; sorry if I'm not too keen on pissing off a bunch of murderous lions. The excitement died down a bit, but you could still tell they were happy to be back in business. Breaking the silence, Sarafina comforted, "Well, no matter how long of a wait it is. I'm sure it's going to be great!"
Kiara agreed, "Yeah, you're right! So, what's it about?"
I explained, "Well, it's about Kovu and Kiara's son, Kion, and his adventures in Africa to become a lion guard. As you could tell, it's another sequel and it's for preschoolers."
The den got so scarily quiet, that you were able to hear the thermal vents all the way in the Elephant Graveyard. The smile on my face quickly turned into a concerned stare, everybody's face looked shocked and a bit horrified. Simba repeated, "The new movie will be a sequel?"
I answered, "Yes."
Nala followed after, "And it will be for preschoolers?"
"Yes?" I accidentally answered more inquiringly. Everyone shared some of their own scared looks. I shuffled, feeling uncomfortable at the silence in the den. It wasn't until Kovu spoke up and said the most obvious words, "Whelp! We're fucked."
Honestly though, I have no idea how that new Lion Guard movie will turn out, especially since it's for preschoolers. Then again, this is coming from a girl who watches technicolor ponies! Oh well! Anyway, there's no excuse for the long wait. I almost lost interest in this series, but my interest is starting to come back. Also, I hope it's still funny. Anyway, I hope you liked this new chapter! Hopefully, there'll be more on the way. Please review!
