Meanwhile, the runner had nearly reached the grill. She ran across the street, but not before looking before both ways, and into the grill. She swiftly walked towards the bar and signaled the bartender.

"What can I get you miss?" he asked "A bottle of water perhaps?"

"I need Matt Donovan", the runner said in a monotone voice.

"Sure, I'll go get him," replied the bartender, slightly confused. A couple seconds later Matt appeared.

"Sorry, do I know you?" Matt asked.

"The tomb", said the runner. "Go to the tomb."

"Excuse me?"

"Go to the tomb", the runner said again, forcefully. She looked around confused, as if she didn't know where she was. She shook her head and briskly walked out of the grill. Matt watched her go and then quickly clocked out and jumped into his car. Before pulling out he called Bonnie.

"Matt?" she said.

"Hey, Bonnie. It's Matt, meet me at the tomb in 5 minutes."

"What? Why are we going to the tomb? What happened?"

"I don't have time to explain, Bonnie. Just meet me there", Matt said. In one swift movement Matt hung up his phone and pulled out of his parking spot. Meanwhile at the tomb, Elena had passed out again, Damon was still conscious, but just barely. Matt got to the tomb in record time. He cautiously climbed down the stairs and called out:

"Hello?"

"Down here", Damon replied.

"Damon?" Matt's eyes widened in surprise when he reached the bottom of the stairs. "What are you doing in the tomb?"

"Oh, nothing. I just got bored and decided to come back to the tomb and get Elena and I locked in here." Damon drawled.

"Elena is here too?"

"We've been through this pretty boy. We're both locked in here. Katherine put a new spell on the tomb so now Elena can't get out either. We've been in here for days. Please tell me you called judgy. I'm getting tired of this place."

"Of course I called her. Remember I'm still new to all this stuff." Matt said. A few minutes later after Damon filled Matt in on everything that had happened, Bonnie arrived.

"Matt? Matt?! Are you here?"

"Yeah, Bonnie, I'm here." Bonnie ran down the stairs.

"Matt why did you want me to come to the to.. Damon?! What are you doing in there? Is Elena here? I've been trying to call her but she won't pick up."

"Can I talk now?" Damon asked lazily, but he didn't wait for her to respond. "Katherine locked Elena and I in here. She changed the spell so that Elena couldn't get out either We've been in here for days without food or water, or should I say SHE was without food or water", Damon said.

"I don't know if the spell me and my grams used will work, and even if it did I'm not strong enough to do it. I'd need another witch to help me with it", Bonnie stated.

"Well, we don't have time for you to go looking for another witch so here's what we're going to do: Pretty boy, go get some food and bloodbags. Judgy you start looking for a spell that will get us out of here." Damon ordered.

"One problem Damon. I don't have vampire super powers like you. I can't run into the bloodbank and steal bloodbags," Matt said.

"Go to to the boarding house. Spare key is above the doorway." After Bonnie and Matt left Damon woke Elena up, to fill her in.

"What? What's going on?" She was in a daze. She hadn't even realized she had fallen asleep.

"Matt and Bonnie came. Matt is getting food and drinkswhile Bonnie looks for a way out of here."

"Thank god", Elena breathed. "I thought we would never get out of this place."

"Well, we are, so hang on for just a little bit longer", Damon soothed.

A few hours later Matt showed up with food and drinks.

"Here. I also went to Elena's and got her phone so you guys can text me and Bonnie if you need something. Jeremy knows too and he's helping Bonnie look through the Grimoires", Matt said. Three nights after Matt, Bonnie and Jeremy found out Damon and Elena were in the tomb Katherine showed up. She went to pick up Elena and Damon. She had needed them as weak as possible so she could take them both at the same time with no trouble. Damon heard her coming long before she reached the tomb and warned Elena. She was with another one of her vampire workers to help her, along with the witch that had put the spell up. When Katherine reached the tomb Damon and Elena slumped against the wall and pretended to be unconscious.

"Aperire sigillum carcerem. Dimitte populum capti effugium!" Katherine's witch muttered, as she opened the seal to the tomb. Katherine, with the hep of her vampire took Damon and Elena to a secret location. At the new spot Damon and Elena were thrown into separate cells. Damon, who had the cell phone tried to call Matt, but had no signal.

"Damn it", he hissed. While Damon was trying to find a way to contact Matt, Katherine was busy negotiating with Klaus.

"I have my doppelganger. I could give her to you... but it's going to cost you. If I give Elena to you, I am free and you get off my ass."

"And what makes you think I will let you go free?" Klaus asked.

"You can't become a hybrid without her blood. I know you already have your werewolf, but you still need her blood and the vampire. Lucky for you I have both." Katherine smirked. She had the upper hand right now, there was absolutely no way he wouldn't agree. Klaus looked at her skeptically.

"Who is the vampire that you have?"

"Damon Salvatore." At that name Katherine saw Klaus's eyes light up. Damon and Klaus always hated each other, and now Katherine was doing what she did best: exploiting it.

"Fine. You give me Elena and you can go free." Klaus said. Katherined smiled in triumph. She could finally stop running and do whatever she wanted.

"I'll go get her right now, I know how you originals don't like to be kept waiting", Katherine turned around and swayed out of the room, disappearing into the depths of the basement.
