((A/N: *looks at the Host club and then at the Sakamaki siblings* Hmmm.

KO: *coughs to get my attention* Is there a problem, Kaiser?

KAS: Huh? Oh, I was just thinking how alike you guys are with the cast of Diabolik Lovers...the Vampire sadists versions. *giggles*

Host club and Sakamaki siblings: *look at each other and get a little creeped out* And where did you get this idea?

KAS: I don't know. I saw it on a post on my Google+ account. Pretty hilarious stuff you can find there. ^^ Maybe I'm mentioning this now because I'm listening to Reiji's songs. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

RS: *doesn't know whether to be flattered or annoyed* I only sang those because they gave me a tea set...

KAS: Anyways, I'd like to thank everyone that's loving the story so far and who have been following and favouring the story (and me). Tee hee. I was just in North Carolina this weekend (It was Oct. 4th. I'm writing this a day after) and boy did it rain. It was also a bit...emotional too...for me at least...because I'm getting a bunch of followers on Quotev and...SENPAI FOUND ME AND STARTED TALKING TO ME! It's been like a full year since I've talked to him and he messaged me all of a sudden and has been asking where I've been. I also told him I'll be going to *Random College name* University and he said it's the same one he's attending now. I'm so happy! *blushes but then gets angry and kicks down a tree* I should be pissed off at him because he's been such a dummy! (We're Harry Potter and Hunger Game buddies. Friends say he was Peeta and I was Katniss :| Yeah...)

Okay, I'm going to shut up and let you guys read since you guys don't really need to know about my personal life.

Chapter 4 - Bloody Hell, a Dance?

Everyone in the Edelstein manor were early risers since the owner of the mansion tended to wake everyone up with a soothing song as the alarm. Roderich Edelstein, every morning, woke up and played the piano and slowly, but surely, his family would wake and by the time the song he played ended, they would all come downstairs and clap at his beautiful performance. Haruka, with her long black hair still all over the place and her eyes all fluttering and squinted from the tiredness, smiled at her uncle's little method and often teased him about it; it was, however, a good idea. After they had all waken up, they all walked together to the dinning room where the maids and butlers were readying the breakfast meal with delicious scones, English breakfast tea, bacon and all the sweet and edible foods that would give them energy for the day to come - breakfast appropriate of course.

The young prodigy munched on the flaky and warm scone with marmalade when her aunt, Ren, started talking with such enthusiasm for so early in the morning.

"Haruka, I heard you joined one of the popular clubs there in Ouran. What was it? The Ouran Host Club?" She questioned and Roderich nodded.

"I became the teacher advisor to supervise. Some of them are...slow at realizing things." He said and he said slow for lack of a better word. Haruka knew he was talking about Tamaki, the last person that realized Haruhi, her current friend right now, was a girl. Reiji, who seemed to be surprised at all of this, jumped up and burned himself with the coffee he was drinking and muttered a curse word.

"The Host club? You mean...Host club?" He asked fearfully because he has had the uttermost unpleasant experience with knowing a girl that has been to a host club and explained, in detail, what she had done and what had happened in the club she went to. "Get out of that club now, Haruka. I won't have a cousin of mine in such a club."

"And I won't have a cousin that's awful in football (meaning soccer) that can't even score one goal." She backslashed and the peaceful breakfast table turned into an all out bickering war. Reiji came and said "says the girl that can't even cook!" and Haruka responded "At least I try you wannabe little master."

"Ill-mannered woman!"

"Stupid clean freak!"

"Brit lover!"

"Hentai Lover!"

"Tch! How dare you call me that, you little punk!"

"Shut the bloody hell up, you annoying snail slurper!"

"Do not compare me to your flamboyant, narcissist idiot of a brother!"

"I just did!"

"Well, take it back, you Loyalist!"

"God Save the Queen!" Haruka began singing the national anthem for the UK and Reiji covered his ears so he wouldn't hear anymore mention of "the greatest country that had helped build the US".

"Always energetic in the morning those two." Roderich commented with a slight amused tone in his voice. Asuka nodded in agreement, but then started to ponder if they should stop the bickering for the two high schoolers were now throwing items at each other.

"Let them be. I'm not going to be paying for their damages this time. They'll use their allowance money...if I remember to give them any this week." He said and continued to drink his Vienna styled coffee.

~.-~.-~.-~.-.~.-~

Early spring was still around and just because it's spring does not mean the new warm air of spring has arrived yet. The bitter coldness of winter was still wandering around in the air and many students were wearing light coats or heavy sweaters to protect them from the cold air, but Haruka walked into the building a bit regal like and only wearing the school uniform. Living in London, where the winter weather can be brutal at times, she had learned to adapt and embrace General Winter. It's also another reason she's paler than most of her peers at school or family members.

Since Roderich was a teacher, he needed to arrive at school more earlier than the students and there was no way he was going to let Haruka take the train all by herself when she doesn't know anyone very well yet. He had been taking her with him ever since she had arrived for the school year and Haruka never protested; she actually liked the music choices her uncle put on the car radio and the conversations they would get into.

Arriving early at school, there wasn't much of the student population here yet and these were the times Haruka enjoyed for she would practice her song writing and experiment with the many instruments in Roderich's classroom. She would create octaves and create harmonic melodies on the piano, but the piano isn't the only instrument she was able to play. While living in London, she had been able to learn the electric guitar thanks to her friend Arthur and several other chaps that chipped in to buy the Gibson guitar for their blue eyed friend. It was one of the few presents that weren't school related or boring and she greatly appreciated her friends; she felt like the luckiest girl in the world to have friends like them around her. (too bad they're on the other side of the world now.)

Haruka could have gone and pulled out her guitar that Roderich had brought over one day during lunch, but she wanted to wait a little more and begin practising because there's been a tune that had appeared on her mind and she's been wanting to express it, but she had to make sure the tune was finished before she began playing it.

The familiar flock of students suddenly flooded the school halls soon after when Haruka decided to leave and head to homeroom for attendance and many of the students were talking about...well, whatever rich students ever talk about. Ever since her father had been a successful pianist on his own, she had been living in a sort of sheltered way and one where they had to living outside the city or abroad in her situation; she never grew accustomed to it.

Making it to homeroom, she noticed Haruhi sitting at her assigned seat and the young prodigy sat in front of her, smiling and greeted her.

"Oh, Haruka. Good morning. Sorry, I was reading an interesting book. It just came out and I bought it when I had the time. What have you been up to?" The brunette asked the raven haired girl.

"The usual. I got into a bickering war with Reiji though. I won anyways because the British always win everything."

"What about the American Revolution and the War of 1812 when the United States defeated England?"

"...They got lucky." She muttered and talked about how the British...or was it the Canadians (?) that burned down the White House. If there was another country that Haruka loved besides the UK, Austria, Germany and Russia, it's Canada. Sure, they have Quebec, but that didn't matter. She loved those countries to a passion.

The two girls, one of them hiding their gender due to reasons that are difficult to explain at the moment, talked until homeroom and the first class of the day started, which was History. Not many know that another passion of Haruka's is History. Whether it's European, World, American or Japanese, she loves them all equally. Maybe it's this reason that if she can't have her way in the music world because of her father's ideal future for Haruka, maybe she'll go into the teaching field.

"I want a five paged paper on a peaceful civil rights movement that had changed the world and it's due right when the bell rings." The teacher asked and most of the students groaned in the big assignment given. Haruhi and her seemed to be the only ones that didn't seem bothered by the assignment. Haruka seemed to have an idea of a nonviolent civil rights movement in mind.

"Haruka!" The sound of her name being called out loud was a big surprise to her for she never expected someone to call her name out like that. Well, one would expect it from Tamaki, who happened to be the perpetrator, ran over to the young prodigy with full intent of giving out a hug. Haruka, knowing this familiar action, she prepared to move out of the way, but someone, a blur of black and white, quickly stood in front of her and threw the blonde off course and to the wall, in a comedic way.

"Uncle!" Haruka exclaimed, looking up to the violet eyed male with a mischievous glint in his eyes.

"At school, you are to call me Mr. Edelstein, Haruka." He said, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose and turned back to the blonde on the floor. "And you, coming onto my niece that way is extremely improper of a French gentleman like yourself. Your mother would be awfully disappointed in you acting out like that towards a lady."

Roderich Edelstein is a man that enforces gentleman behaviour towards men and lady-like abilities towards women - even if the man is an Otoman and the woman is a tomboy. Long explanation shortened, be yourself, but have some dignity.

Tamaki soon stood up and faced the Austrian teacher with a horror-streaked face,

"B-b-but, father. Haruka is my dear sweet sister! We're all family!"

"Last time I checked, my son had black hair and violet eyes. And also, how can you play house at a time like this when you are to be a high school student! Show some maturity, man!" He exclaimed back, but Haruka knows he's just teasing.

"Shouldn't we stop them, Haruka? He is your uncle after all." Haruhi asked to the blue eyed female that watched in amusement. Is this how people felt when she and Reiji bickered a lot these days? She only annoys him because he makes her despise a sport well-beloved in the UK and he's locked up in his room doing God knows what. She just hope's it's not going to the computer and watch Hentai; she has heard the song before and somewhat believes it - except the British part; that just hurts.

"Father! Don't be mean to your daughter and I!" Tamaki cried, hugging the Austrian and Roderich just wanted to throw him off himself, but he's a teacher and can't act rashly.

"Stop hugging me, Suoh! And I only treat her as my daughter since I don't have one of my own!"

"Mr. Edelstein is actually a sweet person."

"They almost look like father and son in a way." People were laughing and watching the scene before them and Roderich just wanted to walk away.

"Let them be. After all, father and big brother should getting along after all." Haruka flashed her usual smile that meant she was behind something and walked off to her next class with Haruhi, leaving the second year and the Austrian behind.

Just not far away, a male student watched the young prodigy walk off and there was a noticeable speck of pink and red on his face.

'Her eyes...' He last thought.

"Miss Shiraga, unlike your classmates who respectably help me in any situation like today's early incident, you are to review pages 394 - 405 & 430 - 450. Also, plan the songs for the upcoming choir festival with our rival school, Lobelia Academy." Roderich got that look again that Haruka did not like seeing as he gave her the songs of choice for the festival. One reason was that there was always something going on when that look appears and the other is that something always does something bad to her.

"But Uncle! That'll put me behind on the lessons in this class!"

"You should have thought of that when I had to deal with Suoh this morning and not offering to help your teacher. Besides, your participation in the festivals preparation will make up for it! I have also told you many times that I do not want you to call me 'Uncle' during school grounds. It's Mr. Edelstein to you as well. I have told you that I will not treat you indifferently than your peers. Now...GET TO WORK ON THE SONGS!"

'He's the devil himself!' Haruka thought and turned through the pages and did as she was told. She was going to have to do a little research as she went home today. Since it's still spring, they should have some love songs and a few spring related songs.

The bell of the final class of the day rang throughout the school.

At the end of the northern hallway; top floor of the south wing, lies an empty music room that's not so empty. It's main occupants being the Ouran Host Club of the famous Ouran Academy. Here at this school, lineage is king and money is a comfort. To sum everything up, those with social standings have too much time on their hands. The Ouran Host Club is where six handsome men, who also have way too much time on their hands, a poor scholarship student who owes them eight million yen, a handsome Austrian music teacher, and an elegant yet rebellious music prodigy, present a unique and elegant form of entertainment.

"What...the...bloody hell is going on here?" Haruka said as she opened the door, still met with the same introduction that she had when she first walked into the music room. Same shining bright light, same rose choke hazard (such a waste of flower petals) and same voices that greeted many once they opened the door. Roderich was still awing at the scenery that was before him; he hasn't been to the tropics in his lifetime. He was mighty impressed at how quickly these boys decorated the room that didn't match the outside weather at all.

On the other hand, he was not impressed at the inappropriate attire that they have all chosen for today's cosplaying day. Most of the boys were shirtless with the tropical outfits for today and the quickest thing Roderich could do was cover his niece's eyes and turn her around while she just realised what the boys were wearing and tried to keep down the rising blush on her face.

"I hope you all have an excuse to wear such attire in front of a lady." Roderich said, a vein already popping out from his head as he looked on in pure silent rage. Tamaki, although he had seen exactly how hellish and scary Roderich could be, he never noticed and unfolded a fan and began explaining his reason of this scene.

"Real men do not hide their superb physique under layers of bulky clothing! When blistering cold outside, then it's time to offer a warm, inviting climate inside! Furnaces and humidifiers work wonders! We embrace the Polynesian climate toward the ladies and give them a world of everlasting summer!"

"Can I hit him now?" Roderich asked himself at how idiotic this all was - a good idea yes, but...Haruka's innocence is on the line!

"There better not be an outfit for me." Haruka muttered and she had brought impending doom onto herself because Kyoya had escorted her to the changing room and just when she was about to enter the room, she had found the female version of one of the uniforms and she quickly turned around and walked away from the changing rooms and went on to prepare the songs for the club while rubbing her arms protectively to which Kyoya noticed.

Roderich didn't have to change since he deemed it would be inappropriate for his female students and would encourage unwanted attention (since he's a married man).

"So, you're not wearing the tropical outfit, Haruka?" Haruhi asked the blue eyed girl and she shook her head as a reply.

"I don't like wearing anything that exposes too much." She could hear Kyoya writing this information in his black notebook. Haruka, again, rubbed her arms protectively again as if it had been cold around the room. Roderich noticed this and smiled at her direction, assuring her that it's alright. She understood immediately and went on to the stage and stared at the instruments offered; she'd have to play something that fits the mood of being on a tropical island, but still have a touch of elegance.

She improvised on a typical Hawaiian instrument, but still an instrument found in most tropical countries from what Haruka had understood. A gentle and soothing song had come to her mind and her own fingers had begun moving on their own and soon enough, the customers were pouring in and quietly commented on the song that it was lovely and something clearly reminding them of the refreshment of the ocean breeze.

"Haruka, it's a shame you're not wearing your Polynesian outfit like the others. I would have very much liked to see it." A girl that had come to request a song asked the blue eyed prodigy about it.

"I don't really like wearing clothes that expose too much skin. The outfit was lovely, but I don't think it would have went along with my figure." She replied and it was not a lie. There are scars on her that she doesn't want to be reminded of again.

"You're a very lovely girl, Haruka! Don't say such things about yourself! She's pretty, right girls?" The long haired girl asked to the surrounding girls and they nodded their heads in agreement. Something inside of Haruka had started to built up and she was a little unfamiliar yet familiar with this feeling; it was the same feeling as when Arthur became her friend in London and then he introduced her to his other friends that were the nicest people she'd ever met.

"Thank you so much, um...I never got your name, poppet." Haruka said and the girl giggled at the nickname given to her.

"Hime Masamune. You're accent's really cute, Haruka! Did you get it from living in London for long?"

"Yeah. I've lived in London since I was five. It's really beautiful especially during the winter time when I go to the London Eye because one can see the whole city from high up and when it starts snowing and the lights from the buildings light up; it's so magical and beautiful like the light of the moon and northern lights."

All the girls aw'ed and asked if Haruka had been up the London Eye with a loved one and she replied that she was with a friend (her first love) that night and shared some laughs.

No one could really know that the smiling young prodigy had a school life so awful that she'd have to wear a mask to fool everyone - Roderich was the only one that didn't seem fooled enough, but he did love the smile that his niece revealed to the girls.

That smile was seen by two hosts as they looked up and saw a true smile from the young prodigy that seemed so natural. With that smile, they both could hear the song that she first played ringing in their heads and seemed to never leave anytime soon. Like the song, the smile was filled with happiness, but that smile had it's fair share with the sorrows of life. How she acted, she walked around still confused of her birth country since she had only known Western culture and barely left Europe, even on New Years or Christmas. That confusion adds to this innocence that you want watch and adore.

"I heard that the club will be hosting a dance a few weeks away. Will you be coming, Haruka? It'll be so great to see you perform again." Hime asked again.

"A dance?" Haruka questioned, tilting her head to the side in utter confusion. She wasn't informed of a dance before, so why is it being mentioned now?

"Yes. It's being held in the school's largest hall. I wonder if the cherry blossoms will be in bloom that night!" The girls started chattering and Haruka smiled at how they went along talking about their dreams.

"I've never been to a cherry blossom viewing party...or worn a kimono...it must be beautiful, yes?"

"Of course. I'm sure you'd look great in a kimono, Haruka! I can't wait to see you in it!" Hime giggled. Kyoya, who hasn't even noticed he'd been staring at the young prodigy, wrote down the suggestion for the clubs next cosplaying day. After all, she would look great in a kimono; her blue eyes looked exotic and not commonly seen by everyday Japanese people that Kyoya sees everyday on his way to and from school, her long black hair looked soft and tied up into a messy bun and the pale porcelain colour of her skin lit up when her cheeks turned a rosy colour like before. What is he talking about? Why is he describing so much of a girl he barely knows apart from the information the school records have about her.

She's a sixteen year old who lived in London since she was five. She loves horseback riding, sewing, composing music and the colour mint green. She's a fan of Harry Potter, Doctor Who, Sherlock and various other things. Haruka has never once set foot in Japan until last week when she officially started school and that's when Kyoya saw her walking to the school with her uncle, whom she lives with currently since her mother and father live up in th country side and her brothers live seperately have have their own lives now. From what he had seen in Haruka's records and her families, she's the only child that looked more like the father - same blue eyes and shining black hair with the same little mole on their right cheek.

"You really think so?"

"I know so!" The two girls went on talking and Roderich knew a friendship was born.

Meanwhile, Haruka had noticed every table running low on tea so she had excused herself and went God knows where and came back with a cart full of teacups and a tea pot with a fresh batch of tea inside it. She handed every table their cups, quickly bowing and going to the next table when she stopped at Kyoya's little table with just himself and his laptop and notebook, minding his own little business when he saw the shadow and looked back to see himself face to face with the young blue eyed prodigy and with a cup of tea in her hands. Haruka smiled, whether meaningless or not, and gently placed the cup right in front of him.

"Caffiene's not really good for you, you know. Try this tea - it's English Breakfast with some black tea leaves and some citrus in it. I only put two sugar cubes instead of four." Just as she had appeared, she disappeared without saying a word of good bye or excuse me and joined Hime again in a conversation about London and what to see over there.

"Victoria and I went to where Jane Austen lived and sometimes visited Scotland in where Harry Potter was filmed."

"Amazing. Hey, is it true that they arrest you for kissing in a movie theater?"

"Yes. How did you find out about it?"

"I stumbled on it online. I was looking up some facts about the great London fire and the fact popped up when I was researching."

Things were going sweetly and wonderfully that none of the host club members would have predicted what would happen right now.

"Excuse me, but I think it's time for your next request, yes?" Another girl walked up to Haruhi's table as Haruhi herself was looking through her list of requests.

"Oh yes! I'm sorry...erm..." She stumbled upon her words and made the girl giggled.

"Kanako. Kanako Kasugakazaki. Second year class B." Kanako giggled and walked closer to Haruhi, gently grabbing her chin and looked into Haruhi's eyes.

"You're even cuter up close. Well, then Haruhi...I think I'll make you my new favourite."

Well...that seemed to be unexpected.

~.-~.-~.-~.-~.-~

"This is unacceptable!" Tamaki said in between his slurps of the instant ramen that he was eating thanks to the generous donations due to Haruhi. Roderich and Haruka were so close to hitting him upside the head because the noise is distracting and a bit gross.

"Hey, mi'lord! Would you lay off that instant ramen and help finalizing the plans for the dance? It's only a week away!" Hikaru said, yelling to the blonde second year that was half way across the room while the others were around the tables, drinking more tea, planning the dance and going through some songs suitable for the choirs festival.

"Why are you so shocked about Miss Kanako's favourite?" Kaoru asked.

"It's not like her sickness has started yesterday." Kyoya said, still typing onto his laptop and this had peaked some interest in Haruhi, Haruka and Roderich.

"Sickness?" The three had asked in unison, looking towards the twins.

"She has the host hopping disease."

"Also known as "never the same boy twice" disease." Kaoru finished and Haruka looked on to Kyoya who started to explain the situation.

"Normally, our guest seek or pick favourites of a specific host, but Miss Kanako switches favorites every once in a while. She's run through everyone at least twice."

"Tama-chan's been it lately." Honey added - an image of Tamaki and Miss Kanako looking lovingly into each other's eyes while in the middle of a meadow was fresh on Haruka's mind. She was conserned, but it had all went to waste when she realized it was fickle and unimportant.

"So, he's just jealous because Haruhi stole one of his guests?" She said bluntly.

"Why is it today's youth creates more problems than there were back then?" Roderich asked to himself, fuming at the fact his niece and her friends have it more easier than he had been through when he was younger.

"SHUT UP! That's not it all all!" Tamaki stood up and yelled. "Enough of this Haruhi! I demand you return to dressing as a girl!" As if things couldn't get any weirder for Haruka.

"How can the ladies like you when you yourself are a lady!" He started ranting all around the room while the blue eyed girl just went on about to write some corrections in a musical score. "Daddy wants...daddy wants...To see you as you were! Like this!" In that instance, Tamaki had taken out his "king's personal articles" chest and pulled out an enlarged photo of Haruhi back in middle school and the photo surrounded by C.G roses. Haruhi didn't take this lightly and a bright red hue appeared on her cheeks, showing her embarrassment and anger.

"YOU ENLARGED MY PHOTO!? HOW DARE YOU!?" She yelled while Haruka stared at the photo. At least Tamaki didn't have an enlarged photo of herself...

"Why can't you be like Haruka!? Look at her! She's the ideal lady!" Spoke too soon. Haruka didn't take lightly to the news and just wished she would disappear because the photo was her during the middle school photo shoot and she had dressed her hair as best as possible with the 20's loose curls and hair pins placed lightly onto her right side of the head.

"WHERE THE BLOODY HELL DID YOU GET THAT!? PHOTOS TAKEN FROM ALLENDALE ACADEMY AREN'T MADE PUBLICLY! I-!" Before she continued more, Roderich was joining Tamaki, admiring the cute smile Haruka had on that day.

"I told you this photo was the cutest of all! See her little dimple on her cheek? So adorable!" Roderich said, gushing. Tamaki nodded his head in agreement, showing the photo to the rest of the club. In case you didn't know, Roderich is very fond over his niece, Haruka. She's his only niece and treated like a princess despite her complaint of being dotted over.

"She actually looks like she's innocent. And not the sarcastic and blunt type like the other day!" The twins said, taking the picture to closely examine the picture more. Haruka's smile in the picture seemed to compare closely with the smile she made today with the guests, but her blue eyes didn't quite catch the warmth that she had tried to replicate.

"Blue and gold? Those the colours of your school, Haruka?" Haruhi asked the stunned music prodigy and it had taken a few seconds to snap out of the shock and answer Haruhi's question with a quick nod.

"Y-yeah. Allendale Dukes. Our mascot is a Duke with a suit in armour and riding a horse - holding onto a sword too." Haruka explained, trying to remember clearly of every football (soccer) game the school has held since she was five and she remembered every time the chocolate brown mare came onto the field and it's rider with a handsome silver suit of armour and holding onto the ceremonial school torch to begin the games and the school anthem began playing while this was all happening. It all seemed like something out of a sports movie.

"That's pretty cool. You must have liked that school." Haruhi said, shocking Haruka one more time.

Liked? Haruka thought as she went into a stance and all these scenes of being isolated and mistreated in school all appeared quickly - a fast fowarding movie playing through her head. In every scene, one boy with neat black hair smirked down at her, calling her names and then knocking her down.

"Would you like to go for a swim, poppet?"

"There were times I wished it could be better." She quickly said to make sure none of them would worry and it may have worked - who knows since she felt two pairs of eyes on her. Haruka shrugged it off and went on to looking at Haruhi's old middle school picture and it was her first time looking at her friend with long hair. It was in such a pretty state and really pretty too. Why would she cut it?

"What happened Haruhi?" Haruka asked and the host club wanted to know too.

"The day before the entrance ceremony, some kid in my neighbourhood stuck gum in my hair." For some strange reason, Haruka could picture the event happening. The kid walked up behind Haruhi and stuck the wad of gum onto her hair and Haruhi noticed it soon and decided to cut it on her own.

"It was a pain to take it out so I decided to cut it all off. I didn't really care if I looked like a dude." Haruhi said. Tamaki went into a rant, saying girls shouldn't say 'Dude'.

"Dude, calm down!" Haruka yelled with an American accent and a playful smile on her face with the idea to freak the blonde out. It worked and now Tamaki was screaming; it was funny and Haruka wished she had a camera.

"MMAAAAAMMMMAA! HARUHI AND HARUKA ARE SAYING BAD THINGS AGAIN!"

"I stumbled upon hell itself..." Haruka muttered to herself and went to the side of sanity, not before hearing,

"By the way, do you guys know how to dance? You're going to need it for the party next week." Hikaru said to Haruhi and Haruka. Haruhi must have gotten worried since she was saying that this event wasn't even included in her quota for breaking the vase. Tamaki had gotten an idea and since Haruhi had wanted to be a host so badly, then she had to learn all the ways of being a gentleman. It was going to be brutal for her. She's going to have to master the waltz in one week before the dance and it takes a lot of concentration and practice to master it.

"Do you still remember your dance lessons, Haruka?" Roderich asked Haruka, who nodded in response. "That's good. Make sure to save a dance for your dear Uncle, alright? And we should probably be leaving. Until tomorrow, gentlemen and miss." He said, ushering Haruka out the club room and smiled back at the rest of the members that were still the room. Honey waved bye to the music prodigy and Mori smiled. Those two really get along with her and the only ones that don't bother Haruka as much. Haruka waved bye with a smile headed towards Honey and Mori, she left, disappearing down the halls.

"Haruka," Roderich called out, looking at the happy expression she had on that was contagious and made him smile too. "What are you so happy about?" He asked curiously, wanting to know what has made his niece so happy all of a sudden. The blue eyed music prodigy turned back to see her uncle, her back facing the opposite directions and her arms behind her back.

"I can't tell. It's a big secret!" She said, giggling to herself.

Who knew that a teenaged girls friends were the most important thing for her than anything else, especially if they were her first friends.

~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~

Lesson 1 on becoming a gentleman, Dancing.

Since Haruka wanted to help out her friend, she has decided to pour in much of her knowledge of being a gentleman and one of them was dancing.

"Regretablely, your dance partner won't be me, but there are many other willing partners that offered their services." said Haruka, "But I've chose Miss Kanako as your dance partner. You may enter now, Miss Kanako." The doors had opened and in came in the girl from the other day, smiling and walked towards Haruhi as Haruka walked off and turned on some music from her laptop.

(Johann Strauss II - The Blue Danube)

"Alright. Let us begin. Right, left...keep your feet together on the second "right" Haruhi! The gentleman always leads so guide your partner! What did I say about keeping your feet together on the second "right"?! Oi! Don't think I don't see you looking at your feet! Keep your chin up and look at your partner!"

Well, Haruka wasn't the nicest of teachers; she's a bit of a perfectionist and didn't really like to see mistakes being made under her watch; looks like she was using the spartan tactic. Things were going nicely for a while until Haruhi stepped onto Miss Kanako's foot and they both fell over, Haruhi being on top of Miss Kanako.

"Why don't we just stop for a wee break then?" Haruka smiled, but it was clear she wasn't one bit happy about this, especially since there was no time to fool around when her new friend was in trouble of having her quota increased or something. Not only was the dance just a few days away, the whole room also had to deal with an emotional half french nitwit who obviously wanted to dance with the Brunette girl crossdressing. It was so obvious, Haruka wanted to do something about it.

"I'm truly sorry you were brought into this, Miss Kanako." Haruhi said, bring out the natural.

"That's alright Haruhi. Your hostings are on hold and with this way, I can spend more time with you." Kanako said, smiling at the Natural host(ess). In the meantime, Haruka placed the tray of tea down on the table, gently putting the cup onto the tea cup plate, smiling. Kanako noticed the tea set and started to truly smile down at them - not the playful smile she forced herself all those many times.

"Are these brand new Jinori tea sets?" She asked, adding to Haruhi's confusion since she didn't really know about tea set brands.

"You have a keen eye, madamoiselle. They just arrived today."

"I see. What a pretty colour."

"Someone appears to be a tea set enthusiast." Haruka lightly teased and was taken back at the violent denial of the second year girl.

"Wh-wh-what do you mean, Haruka!? Me? I would never! I just thought i t had a pretty colour is all!" Kanako said, still violently denying it. Due to this violent denial, she seemed to accidently spil her cup of coffee on her hand and burned in during the process.

"Oh dear." Haruka said, turning and ran for the first-aid kit that so fortunately seemed to be in the room at the time and place.

"Burns like this are to be treated with care. Let's try...this cloth and a bottle of water here!" Haruka said, pouring the water onto the cloth and laid it to rest on the hand, careful not to hurt the poor girl. During the treatment, the doors opened and a fellow with brown hair and some plain features showed up with a box in his hands. He seemed to be striking a conversation with the cool host when he took a glance at Haruka treating Kanako's hand and rushed on over (not before gently putting down the box full of tea sets) to see if Kanako was alright.

"I-is that a burn!? Let me see..!" Haruka was ready to stand up, but sat back down when she saw the girl slap the poor fellows hand away.

"I-I'm fine! Besides, Haruka and Haruhi (*insert heart*) will treat it for me!" Kanako said, ushering Haruka to go back to treating it.

"If you say so. Oh, how rude of me." Haruka said out of nowhere, looking up at the newcomer, "I'm Haruka Shiraga. I never got your name."

"Tohru Suzushima. I'm in class 2-C." Tohru flashed a smile back at the blue-eyed girl, not realizing that he was getting some slight glares from two hosts.

"Tohru Suzushima...? Ah! The sicon of a major corporate family! You have exports and imports on many famous tea sets!" Haruka exclaimed, remembering the familiar name mentioned in a light conversation (turned into heated debate about the best country in the world) about tea sets with her uncle and her friends back in London. She personally liked a set that was made in Vienna and has kept it in storage just in case.

"Uncle and I are really fond of the choices you have. Royal London, La'Terier (I made this one up), Portabella, ect."

Secretly: The two musicians are fan of tea sets. Proabably because they enjoy tea way too much

"I'm glad you think so, but I think I need a lot of work. Too bad I won't be here for long though." Tohru said, smiling meekly and Haruka caught on with this.

"What do you mean?" She asked and Kyoya stepped in, deciding to continue the conversation.

"You'll be leaving to study in England as a transfer student next spring, correct?"

England? Haruka paused and thought about it. This guy that she just met, is going to England!? Even though they're some unpleaseant obstecles over at her adopted country, she loved it over there nonetheless. She's a proud Brit, through and through! ("I have both citizenship in the UK and Japan!" said Haruka proudly. She wouldn't have if it wasn't thanks to her Uncle, who knew about the whole procession since he, himself was a citizen of the UK.)

Right out of the corner of her eyes, she watched as Kanako had started making a sad and forelorn face, not wanting the boy to look at her face.

"Yes. Perhaps over there, I'll be able to learn more than what I know already." He said with a half-hearted grin that Haruka noticed. It really didn't seem to take a genius to figure out that these two are connected in some way, but what? As Haruka was figuring it all out, Kanako was already leaving the room and quickly thanked the blue-eyed prodigy for her treating her burn. Haruhi also seemed to be pondering about something in the meantime, probably why Kanako was violent denying many of the things like if she loved tea sets and if she knew Tohru. Luckily for both girls, Honey had decided to tell them, jumping onto Haruhi's shoulders.

"Guess what, Haru-chan! Ruka-chan! They do know each other! Tohru is Kanako's betrothed!"

Okay, that seemed to have surprised Haruka since she didn't expect that Tohru and Kanako were to be married to each other. Going out as in "boyfriend and girlfriend" maybe, but never fiance's! This is supposed to be high school, not college or something.

Tamaki, now turning to his usual self after his passing depression, jumped and asked for Kyoya to share all the known details of the two.

All and all, what she had come to know is that the Host club is ruthless towards other boys since they are the invincible class A (from better linage and grades) because they just called the poor boy plain and boring.

"I don't know. He seems a little handsome in my books. At least he doesn't have blue eyes and black hair." Haruka muttered the last part quietly and never bothered to pay attention to the surprised looks given to her by everyone excluding Kyoya and Haruhi.

"You obviously have poor tastes in looks, Haruka." Hikaru commented, sneering.

"I do not! In fact, I like to compare you with the cast of Harry Potter! This is what they look like now!" She quickly pulled out her phone, showing everyone Daniel, Rupert, Robert, Tom and...the guy that plays Neville (Sorry, I forgot his name! TT~TT *cries eternally*).

"Those Brits...dammit!" Hikaru muttered while Haruka pulled back her phone and smiled happily at the picture of the boys.

"I just love Neville, Harry and Draco! They're really handsome and they have good personalities! Oh, there's also Tom Hiddleston and Chris Evans and Chris Pratt (SP?) and that Russian singer that can sing a whole five octaves above his own voice! Johnny Depp is also part of this too, great acting and very funny indeed with many of his characters."

"When did this turn into a "Let's hear about Haruka's celebrity crushes" conversation?" Kaoru asked curiously, still looking at Haruka, whom seemed to be admitting hearts everywhere whenever she mentioned the actors and singers and even started talking about the K-pop genre that she had started to love, mentioning some groups called BTS, CN Blue and Super Junior.

"I don't know. I didn't think she'd have these type of crushes though..." answered Hikaru, looking at everyone elses reactions, especially Mori's and Kyoya's, who seemed to have some kind of frown written on their faces, despite them being the most unemotional (Mori always having one facial expression all the time and Kyoya's eyes hiding behind his glasses) and this was pretty interesting to this Weasely ginger wannabe.

"But I feel like things will be pretty interesting soon."

~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~

It was now the day of the dance and both niece and uncle were present, standing side by side as the Host club were standing on a grand staircase, minus Tamaki, giving out an introduction.

"We invite you to enjoy yourselves to your heart's content, as you dance with the Host Club members." Roderich started, making heads turn and most girls squealed when they saw their beloved music teacher pull off a Phantom of the Opera with his cape surrounding him. It made the Austrian a bit uncomfortable to be here when he knew some of his female students had a teacher crush on him, despite him being a married man and with a child.

"In addition, the guest who is recognized as the best dancer, and is chosen as tonight's queen will receive an impassioned kiss on the cheek from the king." Kyoya finished, using his closed eyed Host smile.

"Good luck to you, baby." Tamaki winked at the female populace, many of whom fainted.

"And...due to the presence of Miss Shiraga here and many of her guests, despite the fact she's not a hostess, a lucky gentleman shall earn an endearing kiss from the elegant and spirited songbird."

"WHAT!?" Haruka shouted. Now that she noticed, there were some male guests around the place, smiling at the idea of dancing with her. Did she even have male guests that decided to request her songs?

"Haruka, is everything alright?" Roderich asked with concern as he brought his hand to the girls forehead, waiting for at least five or so seconds before talking again. "You don't seem to have a fever. That's fortunate - you always easily got sick when you were younger." At this, Roderich chuckled lightly, remembering the times Haruka would stay in bed and her cheeks always flared up in red for days on end. Haruka didn't lightly take this as a joke and pouted up at her uncle.

"It's because of that stupid cooking from my stupid father! He can't cook to save his life! That man almost poisoned me with his 'delicious' scones! I could have died!"

Everyone seemed to take some amusement with the niece and uncle relationship that was happening on the sidelines. They were close, almost like father and daughter having some debates about having a boyfriend or wearing makeup - something that would envoke the daughter to deny violently. Speaking of Haruka, she seemed to have the attention of the male populace as she wore her pale rose coloured flare dress that never went past her knees with white wedges that were partly gemed with fake diamonds, her make-up was done as lightly as possible - the mascara emphasizing how long and thick her eyelashes could be. The long black hair she had before was held up and done elegantly as two silver pins kept her bangs from hanging out in front her face. Out of all of the items she wore, the only thing that people would pay attention to were her icy blue eyes that were just so exotic in the sea of people with hazel or dark coloured eyes.

"I know. And to think, that little girl grew up to be an elegant young woman that shines so brightly right now."

"Tch. An elegant young woman who doesn't like to be compared to a child. They don't know that this 'child' can kick their arse if she wanted to!" Haruka exclaimed, her British accent emphasising heavily on arse. "Why did you come with me here when you said you detested these kinds of gatherings, uncle?"

"I came to watch over you, of course. I can't leave my precious little niece with a whole group of men - I'm also making sure this doesn't end up like a Shoujo manga as well." Roderich said, grinning devilshily - not really common of him to do since he was reminded of that demon butler from that anime that hardly ever showed a smile towards anyone and whenever he did smile, it meant something bad... really bad.

"How mean, father! As your son, I would do everything in my power to have no men touch my dear sister's innocent skin!" Tamaki proclaimed passionately as Haruka rolled her eyes and stood next to Haruhi to get away from all the sillyness. Everyone from the host cub was around the two, watching in amusement how Roderich and Tamaki bicker at each other.

"I remember my son had back hair, violet eyes and a mole right under his lower lip not blonde hair that reminds me of an idiotic nephew of mine that proclaims to be French every time. Stop acting like a dummkopf, Suoh. I don't need any more silly blondes in my life." Roderich scolded, his arms crossed as Tamaki had started to whine about Daddy being so cruel to his son and his family.

"Blonde hair? Your family has blonde hair Haruka?" Asked Kaoru, standing by the girls right as she asked. Haruka nodded honestly, trying to shake off any chilled feeling of uneasyness right out of her.

"My mother is a natural blonde with green eyes. She might have gotten them from her ancestery being full of European blood. The blonde hair is from her great, great, great grandfather that was Prussian and the green eyes from her great grandmother who was Spaniard. Dad's family is fully Japanese from what I know." Haruka shared, thinking carefully and choosing her words and not noticed the amazement Haruhi and the others had.

"Prussian? You mean to tell me your mother is a direct descendent of a Prussian? From the once-a-country Prussia?"

"Is there any other Prussia? But even so, yes. I guess that makes me 1/6 Prussian and 1/4 Spaniard." No one ever bothered to hear the faint scratching of pen writing on paper - Kyoya always seemed to be learning one or two things about this music prodigy every day that he thought he would take his notebook around whenever he thought he would meet or see her.

~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~

It had been a while since the last time Haruka had danced with the opposite gender. She had almost forgotten how enjoyable it was to dance with someone and have fun twirling and spinning in each others arms. It would be such a disappointment if she would have forgotten all that hard work of training how to dance the fox trot, tango, waltz, Viennese waltz, ect. Haruka would have been scolded if that were to happen.

The young prodigy watched gleefully as she saw her brunette friend dance - it wasn't perfect, but it wasn't as bad when they first started. Seemed like Haruhi improved so much over a couple of days before the dance.

"Haruka, is everything alright?" The boy, Aoi, asked Haruka, wondering whereelse she might have been looking at.

"I'm fine. I'm just looking after my young student finally dancing properly." She playfully said, smiling with Aoi lifted her up in the air like in the scene of the Yule Ball in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. She would have to thank her uncle for he was the conductor for the evening and knew this was one of Haruka's favourite songs to dance to.

After the dance with Aoi, she excused herself and had decided to sit down, looking up to see Mori and Honey drag Haruhi away just as she was about to dance with Kanako. In the meantime, she witnessed Hime and three others making their way towards her with smiles on their faces.

"Haruka, you look so adorable in that dress!" Hime said.

"Thanks Hime. Its one of the few dresses I own that I've used in the past to compete; I can't believe it still fits me." Haruka smiled, getting up and decided to head out with the group of girls, chatting happily and soon realized the whole room had become empty of people dancing as they only sat down, watching each other as to whom would be the bravest of them all to dance out of all of them. The blue eyed girl watched in pity when everyone wasn't having fun like they had before, even when there were boys to dance with, but guessing things become enjoyable when the Host club is around.

"No ones dancing anymore." Hime said, her voice sounding disappointed since she might have wanted to dance with her favourite host or something. With Roderich conducting the school orchestra, Haruka could have seen the spark that shone clearly to her when she looked up at him. It was then that she remembered that there were other dances that she practiced on thanks to those Jane Austen inspired movies - especially Pride and Prejudice.

That idea being fresh on her mind, she quickly threw a hand signal to Roderich, who caught it and quickly motioned the orchestra to start playing the back-up songs that Haruka had gathered for the plan. Wait, what plan?

"Bob's your uncle!" Haruka exclaimed loudly for the words to bounce off the walls and loud enough for all the Host club members to look at her strangely, not evening noticing that she had just used more British slang. Hikaru and Kaoru were the first ones to speak after.

"I'm pretty sure we don't have an uncle named Bob, Haruka. We're fully Japanese." Hikaru said, but Haruka only pouted, making her way towards the red head and slapped him with a roll of paper that she conicidently had in her hands.

"No, you git! It's British Slang for 'That's it'! Don't you watch Doctor Who?!" She spat furiously, not noticing the more strange looks and the writing of Kyoya, who covinently started making a list of the used British Slang words Haruka has said. Speaking of the girl, she crossed her arms and looked at everyone with a smile that meant she was going to be up to something and held up the two photos of Tohru Suzushima and Kanako Kasugazaki.

"Enough of that though. Due to the information that you shared now, I just had a plan that just might work to bring this unfortunate couple together." The petite girl slammed the photos on a table, taking out a piece of paper, an envelope and a pen and shoved it to the Weasely twin ginger wannabes and started to smile trimphantly.

"You, Weasely twin ginger wannabes, congratulations. You'll have the special assignment to write out a love letter for Suzushima. Haruhi," Haruka looked at her, examining every single angle and smiled when she realized she still had some cuteness even though that the cuteness never left whatsoever. "You're going to be the one that will confess to Suzushima. For this, you must wear an adorable dress and a wig so he won't recognize you. I'll consult with the Weasely twin ginger wannabes with this later."

"I thought we were going to bring Kanako and Suzushima together, not break them apart." Kaoru said, obviously confused as the next person about this, but Kyoya was the only person that seemed to have started puzzling all of this together.

"No, she's right. This is a way to bring them together." Kyoya said, interested eyes looking at Haruka behind those glasses. .

"Kyoya.." Tamaki looked at his best friend and Haruka who continued on with the plan.

"Thank you, four eyes. Now, Suoh here will take Kanako out to the classroom Haruhi will confess to Suzushima - let's make it classroom 2-C. Before all of this, Honey-senpai and Mori-senpai's mission is to 'escourt' Haruhi to the backroom to dollify her for this confession. When Kanako reaches to the room, she'll run toward the courtyard (hopefully) and Suzushima chase after her where they'll confess their undying love for each other and have them elected as the winners of todays little contest." Haruka finished, not realizing that she pulled out a white board and started to draw the elaborate plan. Hikaru and Kaoru exchanged looks, wondering if this will really work. Kyoya seemed to have thought through this and it didn't seem to be a bad idea, plus, it didn't waste too much of the budget.

"Why do I have to wear a dress and a wig?" Haruhi asked and Haruka only frowned at this. "Can't you do it, Haruka?"

"My heart only belongs to Draco Malfoy. Besides, I'm possibly the only girl in this bloody school with blue eyes and he'd recongnize me instantly. Majority of the girls at this school have dark coloured eyes and you're one of them, poppet! And, I have the most important assignment of them all - I must keep the guests entertained with music!" At this, Haruka decided to pull out a stack full of music sheets that seemed to belong to some sort of soundtrack.

"This...actually might work!" Tamaki exclaimed, smiling at the brilliance of his darling little sister (not really his sister).

"It should and it will so long as you stick to the plan! Now come on! Isn't it the host clubs quote "to make every girl (or gent) happy"?" The blue eyed prodigy said, now seeing how Hikaru and Kaoru were writing the letter and made sure Haruhi wouldn't look at it since Haruhi's role was to act as clusmily cute as possible

"This doesn't have enough passion! Kyoya! Collaborate with them!" Haruka last said, ushering Haruhi out so she'd soon forget about all this and focus more on her homework that she still needed to finish.

The entire hall echoed with the songs that were being played, much more different than the songs before. Hime and the other girls looked at Haruka, whom ushered them to follow her to the dance floor and hold hands and started their own little circle. This was the first time they danced to something like this or in this way that they were shocked to find the young prodigy dance to the song naturally. She twirled, latched arms with another girl and twirlled together as they went to opposing sides and back at each other again to do it again. They were all having so much fun that everybody had wanted to try and dance it, but the song had sadly come to an end before anyone else had time to enjoy it.

Seeing how they were saddened at the song ended, Haruka grabbed the arm of the nearest boy and bowed to him, the boy nervously following suit. Everyone else followed the same way, watching in awe at how they'll dance next. Haruka and the boy latched arms, starting to twirl and then stood in front of each other at a respectable length of distance, watching each other and then playfully bow at each other - matching with the lightened fiddle playing loudly. Before everyone seemed to have noticed, the entire hall had once again filled with laughter and enjoyment that it had started with. Teh returning host club members that were occupited in dolling up Haruhi seemed to have been surprised that their music prodigy friend held up to her promise in entertaining their guests...all of their guests with loud and carefree music that allowed partners to latch onto their arms and lift the girls up in the air as they cheers and smiled happily. Haruka, currently dancing with one of the male guests, smiled brightly and her eyes caught sight of the other arriving to the hall and excused herself from her dance partner with a bow and made her way toward the guys.

"You did all of this?" Hikaru asked her.

"Ya' must never underestimate us Brits, ya' Weasely twin ginger wannabe." Haruka said with a heavy Irish accent that she mastered in just to fool around. It must have sounded weird though towards them since they never really heard that type of accent though.

"How cool, Ruka-chan!" Honey exclaimed, jumping at the blue eyed girl for a hug to which the cheerful young musician happily gave bag and started twirling the short third year, not knowing that the tall third year started smiling at the sight. "Hey, why were you willing to plan all of this though?" Honey asked once he remembered the question and Haruka gave it a thought and gave a smile.

"I thought it was obvious...SUZUSHIMA SAW THE BEAUTY AND GREATNESS THAT IS THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND AND HAS NOW DECIDED TO STUDY OVER THERE MEANS HE'S A GREAT COMRADE OF MINE! GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!"

"What an anglophile..."

Note: Haruka maybe an elegant young lady raised in a country full of rules, but it's also the country of Dubstep, the Beetles, James Bonds and full of people that mean the opposite of what they actually mean. For example, "You look a little tan" means "You look like you just swam in a volcano" and there's "Is this seat taken?" that translates to "You better move your things off this chair or so help me, I'll kick your arse". Let's not forget "With all due respect" which totally means "Sorry to say, but I think you're an idiot".

~-.~-.~-.~-.~-.~

Everything had gone quite well - all according to Haruka's plan that was planned to every last detail, but that doesn't mean that some things had to go aweary. Let's take Haruhi's foot for example - she accidently hurt it while she was running out the classroom, but at least Tamaki was there to carry her to have her foot treated, but it didn't escape the furious rage Haruka bashed at the poor brunette since all that dance practice what would have happened more after the dance would have been all for nothing after all. Roderich did have a chance of dancing with his adorable and somewhat childish niece and Haruka was not disappointed when she saw just how happy the adorkable couple were when they smiled at each other like they were the only two people in the world. As if it wasn't enough, everyone had the chance to dance outside where the cherry blossoms were in full bloom and glistening with the lights from the hall and the moon that the pink flower seemed to glow as well.

"May I have the next dance?" A voice sounded behind Roderich, but he nonetheless smiled and handed in Haruka's hand to her next dance partner, who happened to be Kyoya himself. That's strange, he hasn't had much conversation toward the young musician, even in the last chapter. Haruka, wondering at this behavior, seemed albeit confused herself and felt small compared to this 5'10 male. She was 4'10 - a whole foot shorter than this chap. Not putting on a fit or anything, she relaxed and took her hands to his shoulder and hand, not bothering to notice the electricity running through the contact. They dance as if no troubles existed - boy, they didn't know that this dance will be do a 180 on their lives.

~-.~-.~-. OMAKE TIME .-~-.~-.~

"As I was saying, Haruhi needs more dance lessons, but she must learn both the girls and boys parts." Haruka said, smiling toward the brunette that flinched and saw through the smile.

"Ah. No thanks, Haruka - I had my fill with dancing for a while." Haruhi said, waiving off the planned idea of the young musician who's smile faltered until Tamaki came bosting then that it would do Haruhi good.

"I would very much like to be her dance partner, sister dear!" He said, brimming with light and whatever else that made you shine (like a doitsu). However, his dreams of dancing with Haruhi would have to wait a bit longer for the young musician pushed him away and frowned at it.

"Last time I checked, I had only one idiot blonde brother. And I already had my uncle help out with that." And I just blew off your chances to hit on Haruhi.

"Not you too, Haruka! First father and now you!? I am your brother and Haruhi is your darling niece!"

"WHERE ON EARTH DID YOU GET SUCH IDEAS!? ARE YOU FIVE?! YOU'RE NOT PLAYING HOUSE ANYMORE!"

"DADDY! Sister dearest is being mean to me again!"

"YOU'RE NOT MY SON!"

"WHY CAN'T WE BE HAPPY AND JUST SIT DOWN IN A KOTASU!?"

"I have no idea what that is, but I don't want to anyways."

"WHAT?! And you call yourself Japanese!"

"Hello! I've been living in England in case you've forgotten!"

"The scariest part is that they really do act like brother and sister."
