Chapter 4: Meet My New Beloved Family!

Five years later,

The sound of the drizzling rain woke me up from my evening nap. Slowly awakening, I dozed off, watching the rain outside from my window. I was leaning against the windowsill. My room was decorated cutely with pink wallpapers, white furnitures and lots of beloved plushies that my parents bought for me. There are also family pictures hanging around the room with pink frames.

'I must have accidentally fallen asleep.' I sat up properly and yawned. There was stacks of storybooks around me as I was reading them before falling asleep 'Ah, I guess I was that bored. Maybe, I should go play with Lucian and Lucius instead.' I stood up, putting away my storybooks to my bookshelves and exited my bedroom.

I found out few things after five years. My name is Lucianna Alkaev, nicknamed as Anna and I'm the oldest of the triplets. My black haired brother, Lucius Alkaev, nicknamed as Lulu and the youngest of us triplets, our blond haired brother, Lucian Alkaev, nicknamed as Lucy. My family is Russian/Italian with a quarter of a German from my mother's side. About my brothers, they did not have the memories of my past life. I have confirmed with them therefore I did not share or tell anything of my past life to them.

Had you tell stories of reincarnations to the past me, I would not even believe it and heck, I will be thinking you're crazy. I thought it would be safer not to say even if they are my family. I do not want my family to think I am any more stranger than I am now.

Upon arriving at my brothers' bedroom, I entered without knocking, just like I always do. "NYAHOO~~! I'VE COME TO MAKE YOUR DAY WITH MY PRESENCE!" I exclaimed, making my grand entrance. My voice was probably on the same voice level as Squalo.

Their room was decorated with baby blue theme, white furnitures just like my room and had only few plushies laying on their bed.

Lulu was sleeping on the couch with a book covering his face whereas Lucy was reading a book on the floor beside Lulu. They did not show ANY reaction to me when I barged into their room noisily.

"Don't ignore me, you bookworms! Your sister will be feeling sad." I proclaimed myself and took out a white napkin out of nowhere to wipe my fake teardrop. I went to the corner of the room and grew out the depressing mushrooms on my head, sulking.

Lucy was the first to talk to me in the room as he turned to me. "Ah, big sis" He looked up from his book and turned to me.

I glanced at him, looking teary and dramatically. 'Oh my lil bro~ Is he going to comfort me-'

"Don't grow mushrooms in the corner of the room, please." He smiled and returned to his book.

Rejected, I felt my heart broke to pieces as the sound of the lightning and glasses breaking at my background. 'Lucy, how could you?!' I sniffled and pouted.

"Don't be like that. Let's play outside~~" Not giving up, I went closer to sit beside Lucy, trying to wheedle him.

"But big sis, you're an albino. It's not safe." He said worriedly and tilted his head to me, giving his attention to me.

"Don't even try to remind her, Lucy. She won't listen." Lulu who was actually awake, sat up on the couch, yawning.

"Isn't fine~? Just once in a while, it should be just okay for me to go out and play~ I need to exercise and bask in the sunlight!" I clapped my hands together, making reasons for me to play outside together.

"No." My black haired brother denied me of my request nonchalantly.

"Tch, fine, you idiot!" I hmphed and hugged Lucy's arm. "I don't need you anyway because I have Lucy with me still~" I showed my tongue at that idiot. "Lucy will play with me right~?" I looked at my youngest brother with hopes and dreams reflected in my eyes.

"But I'm worried for you. I do not want you to get hurt." He turned down my request nicely unlike that stupid brother of mine. 'Geh- that puppy eyes is too strong!'

Helpless, I sighed. "Fine. Boohoo~" I sulked and was about to head out from the room. "I'll go and play with my plushies instead." My hands were on the doorknob, turning it. Just then, Lulu gave out a sigh, scratching the back of his head.

"Alright, alright, we'll play with you. But not outside, you're weak and sensitive to sunlight." Lulu said, standing up and putting away the book that he had to his bookshelves.

'Being an albino could be one of the burdens that Nichi had mentioned. But I can still go out and play on cloudy days. I just have to wear my hoodie though.'

After that, we went down the stairs for a pirate adventure and played around inside the house since it was raining outside anyways. We grabbed our toy swords and eye patches as we were just getting into out roles.

In the pirate adventure, I was an antagonist while my brothers were the protagonist. I had found out that I was more suitable to be an antagonist for the past five years. I may have wasted my life on this but it was worth it. Afterall, this is truly a childhood for me.

"I'm bored~~" After few hours of playing and clashing our swords, I had been defeated by my brother on our final battle, I laid down, facing the ceiling in the living room.

"It's because you have lost that you're bored." Lulu grudgingly said while he is cleaning up after me for my toys. I was just being lazy on the floor. "Why do I have to clean up when I am victorious?" He muttered in his breath, complaining.

"Calm down, Lulu." Lucy said, helping him out, picking up a pillow to be handed to Lulu.

"So lucky that I have such hardworking little brothers~ So glad that I am the eldest too~" I rolled around and turned into a lazy slime. 'Never thought that our carpet is so comfy! This makes me just wanna goof around for the rest of my life-'

"GAH!" I shouted from getting hit by Lulu with the pillow that he was holding. I rubbed my head where it hurts and glared at my brother when I found a bump on my head. There was a spark in between us as we looked dagger with each others.

"Geez, big bro, big sis, stop fighting!" Lucy stood between us, nervously trying to calm ourselves.

Surprisingly, my brothers are prodigies while I am normal just like how I was in my past life. They excelled in almost everything. At their age, they have made so many achievements. There were times that I felt inferior to them but my parents said otherwise and supported me just the same as my brothers. My parents and I are really proud of my brothers. 'Despite this, it's nice to have such great brothers. I'm not even feeling lonely like before. I now have some siblings to play and argue with.' I secretly smiled at our argument. My parents then, came downstairs from their room.

"Don't fight, Lulu, Anna too." My mother, Marie walked toward us. She is a bit like a saint. So pure, so oblivious, so cheerful, so dramatic, and so dense. 'A mother that I have always wanted.' I looked up at my mother very much to the point I adore her. 'It's not bad to have a mother-con right? Aside that, I might have developed a bro-con too actually.'

"Good job Lucy. You're one step ahead as a man by stopping your siblings from fighting." My father, Alma patted Lucy's head, praising him.

"Ehh~~ I did not do anything!" I pouted in denial, receiving a snort from Lulu.

My parents joined us and sat on the couch. My mother laughed. "My, my. Isn't it normal for siblings to fight?"

We then had a family chat until late night like every Saturday. My parents always go to work on weekdays while my brothers and I are homeschooled. My brothers do have friends from outside but I do not because I have to prevent from getting attention outside due to my eyes. Since the very beginning, my family accepted me just the way I am and provided me with love and care. That's why I am happy in this family.

My parents are true alchemists. Nichi really had sent me into an alchemist family. But my parents were not like those who wanted immortality or gold, riches and fame. They just wanted to discover more advanced technologies to make people happy and help our country to advance with further development.

Of course, I haven't forgot my mission to save Nichi, the Philosopher Stone. Although f I asked my parents about Nichi, they would probably get suspicious of me since they prefer for me and my brothers to stay away from alchemists matter until we get older. So, Nichi have to wait until I gathered enough intel.

I also found out that the alchemists this era mostly hid their existence from normal people. So not many people know that alchemist still exists. They have hidden their identity because people would be asking them for gold or elixir of life, extorting them and more. It would have just left them in more danger to face on their own. Therefore, they covered their tracks and existence in a form of medicinal business companies.

The Alkaev family is the biggest alchemist family out of all since it was the first alchemist family to ever exist. My family is from the main branch of the family and a direct descendant from the first alchemist in the world. At least that is how I had heard from my parents. Interestingly, the symbol for our family is an Ouroboros. Like Mammon's Phantasma.

"AHHHH~~! BEACH! BEACH! BEACH!" I giggled happily, on our discussion to go to the beach for our weekend. I never went to the sea before even in my past life. I was poor after I was released from the orphanage, I had to work and study so hard so I didn't have time for anything.

"You sound like you're swearing." Lulu smiled my excitement.

"Yeah, we're so excited! This time, we will play as long as we want, right, big sis?" My youngest brother said, smiling at me as he shared the same excitement.

"Speaking of play, don't forget to bring your hoodie, hats and other things to keep you from the sunlight." Lulu warned me, glaring daggers at me.

"EHH~~ How troubling. Pu~" I pouted, receiving a pinch from my black haired brother. Smacking his hand, Lulu and I went into another argument with Lucy in effort to try to stop us from bickering again.

"The last time we went to beach was on our honeymoon, right, darling?" My mother asked my father. My father puts his right arm around my mother's shoulders and kissed my mother's forehead.

"Yes, we'll have a good time there as a family. Together with our kids." My father winked at my mother. She blushed and smiled at him.

"Uwah, another romantic scene." Me, Lulu, Lucy said at a same time, seeing the scene in front of us. My father sweatdropped at our reaction, smiing nervously.

"Go to your rooms and prepare for tomorrow." My father shooed us. That how he looked like to me, that is.

"Yes~ Good night!" We, triplets went to the stairs bidding them a good night.

"Good night, my little troublemakers." My father replied to us.

"Good night, loves. Don't forget to brush your teeth." My mother said to us, reminding us.

"If I remember to~!" I laughed mischievously. My parents just shrugged and sighed at my mischief behaviour.

When we were on the second floor, I bid good night to my brothers and they did the same to me. They entered their room and I entered mine. We have to stay in different rooms since I am a girl and they are boys. 'Ahh~ I wanna be in the same rooms with them~~ Not fair~'

Entering my room, I immediately prepared the things to be brought to the beach. Yes, I remembered to bring the hoodies and hats and other things, no worries. After preparing, I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth.

'Ah!' Although right before I was going to my bed, I remembered my camera that I got for my birthday last year from my father.

'I should bring that camera to take some pictures during our vacation!' I opened my drawer and took out my camera. I switched it on to check for the batteries. 'Yeap, still full!' I took a quick look at the pictures I have taken of my family ever since I first gotten the camera. Each of them holds precious memories from this world. I giggled at one photo of the funny faces of my brothers before switching it off and putting it away inside my bag.

Then I lied down onto my bed. I looked at my alarm clock. It's eight. 'Still early to sleep.' I set the alarm on seven in the morning. Just in case if I can't wake up. I was really excited to go to the beach with my family. I hugged my pink wolf plush and rolled on my bed. I looked outside my window.

The dark sky was drizzling as if it was crying but it had comforted me to sleep. 'I hope the rain won't last until tomorrow. May it will be sunny all day tomorrow.' I wished in my heart as I closed my eyes.

The next day,

*RINGGGGG RINGGGGG*

The sound of my alarm rang so loudly that it was piercing my eardrums. Hitting the stop button, I woke up with my eyes bloodshot. I sat up groggily while rubbing my eyes, feeling sleepy. I looked outside the window. 'Ah, It's not raining anymore. Thank goodness.' I went to the bathroom to get ready and saw that I have dark bags under my eyes from my reflection in the mirror. 'Oh? Dark bags.' Silence filled the bathroom. Then, I screamed.

Some time later.

My father was putting the bags into the car. Lucy helped him by handing the bags. My mother was helping me to put on concealer to make the dark bags under my eye to make it less visible upon my request while my DEAREST brother, Lulu was laughing at me. I felt very grumpy from being his laughing stock.

"HAHAHAHA! YOU LOOKED RIDICULOUS!" He laughed with tears in his eyes. "My tummy hurts~! Hahaha!" He patted his tummy.

"Shut up! I could not help but to keep waking up every one hour!" I was so embarrassed. My cheeks slowly redden each second he laughed at me. I gritted my teeth in anger.

Just then, my father and Lucy entered our conversation after they had finished putting the bags. "Lulu, don't tease your sister." My father pulled down Lulu's hat when he passed by him to lock the door to our house.

"Hmm.. Fine, fine, I'm sorry." He teased me as he shifted his hat back properly. 'I don't think that came sincerely from his heart.' He tried to stay silent until he started to laugh again.

My tears came out. "Mama~~~" I cried out as hugged my mother. Yes, I craved for my mother's love and care all the time.

"Ara~ Lulu, you make Anna cry." My mother reprimanded him while she comforted and consoled me.

'MAMA IS THE BEST. I LOVE BEING PAMPERED LIKE THIS. HAHAHAHA.' I grinned secretly and looked up to my mother, teary eyed. ""Boohoo~" I buried my face into my mother's big chest.

Lulu looked at me and wiped off some laughing tears from his eyes. "Sorry, it was too funny to see her face like that." He came nearer to me. "If you cry, the concealer Mama will get wasted, you know?" He said while patting my head. "I won't tease you anymore, so stop crying, crybaby."

'Why do I feel he is the mature one at this moment?' I slapped his hand away and glared at him. "I'm not a crybaby!" I stomped my feet, frustrated.

He sighed and shrugged his shoulder. He went to go inside the car. Lucy smacked his head with a fan before he got in. Lucy doesn't really like family fightings.

"Wha-" He was going to retort but he sighed for the second time after looking at Lucy's face. "Yes, I'm very sorry." He turned to me and apologized with a straight face.

"Apology accepted." I smirked and showed my tongue at him. 'Serve him right.' He tched and looked away. Lucy moved closer to us and smacked both our heads.

"WHAT?!" We shouted at Lucy. Our sweet little brother's face had turned to one of a demon's. I swear I could see black mist from his mouth.

"Apologize properly and accept the apology sincerely." We gulped after seeing Lucy scary face. 'So scary when he glares like that. I guess the saying about calm people are scary when they're mad is true.'

We repeated the apology scene again but this time, more sincerely because who wants to face Lucy's wrath? That would be suicidal, man.

"Come on, rascals. Time to go." My father laughed at our act and went inside the car, sitting on the driver's seat. My mother had already seated inside the car before I had known it.

"Yes~" I said. My brothers nodded in agreement.

"Big sis, wear your hood properly." Lucy reminded me, while pulling up my hoodie.

"Yeah, you're really weak toward sunlight. If you faint and our vacation is ruined, I'll blame it on you." Lulu said, opening the car door.

"Yeah, yeah." I used my long hair bangs to cover my left five-petal flower eye. I was wearing a long sleeved hoodie jacket and long jeans. Lulu wore a dark red-black tank top with black baggy pants while Lucy was wearing blue sky t-shirt and jeans. They were being fashionable. Unlike me, I cannot wear clothes like them. 'This sucks, I don'the disadvantages of being an albino.' I pouted when looking at them. We entered inside the car and wore our seatbelts.

"Ready?" My father asked as he turned to us after staring the engine.

"YEAH~!" I shouted in excitement with my brothers joining in with me. Thus, we started our journey.

Some time later..

'I know that my father said it'd take few hours to get there but right now it feels like an eternity~'

"I'M BORED~!"

"You keep saying that eleven times for the last 30 minutes." Lulu said while playing his game console PS Vita: Toukiden. Lucy was sleeping soundly beside me.

"But it's so boring~" I complained, pouting.

"Please be patient, my dear Anna. Try to sleep like Lucy. Time flies when you do." My mother turned to me and said, my father nodded as an agreement.

"Yes, you must be sleepy since you don't have enough sleep yesterday." My father added.

"Umu~ Now when you say it, I do feel sleepy.." I yawned and blinked a few times.

"Idiotic sister." Lulu pulled and placed my head on his shoulder like how Lucy puts his head on mine. Then he continued to play the game.

I smiled. "You're so kind, Lucius." I mumbled, drifting slowly to sleep. I did catch a glimpse of Lulu's blushing face. 'I want to take a picture of him but I'm too sleepy..'

2 hours later, Noon

When I woke up, we had stopped in front of a hotel's entrance. I stretched and looked around. 'Papa's not here.. Maybe he's checking us in? Everyone is asleep' I saw Lulu's PS Vita in his hands, still switched on. I switched it off and sat up properly. Lucy's head slided off from my shoulder and onto my lap.

A jolt of pain came upon me. 'OW! OW! OW! MY FEET CRAMPED!' My tears came out but I stayed silent, uncomfortably so. Just then, I saw my father came out from the hotel and walked toward the car.

"Wakey-wakey, sleepy heads. We have arrived~!" My father woke all of us, opening the door. 'Dammit, I didn't even have the chance to take pictures of my cute brothers' sleeping faces.' I thought as I remembered about my camera. I looked and glared at my father for waking up my brothers. He returned with the look as if he asked if he did anything wrong.

'Yes, you did! Well, nevermind, I can still take pictures later throughout the vacation and then, I shall put it in my album that I got for my third birthday from both my brothers. Hah!'

"Is something wrong, dear Anna?" My father asked since I was still glaring at him.

"No." He sweatdropped at my sulking.

"Are we here already?" My mother asked, groggily waking up, yawning. Meanwhile, I made sure my dear brothers to wake up properly and massaged their shoulders. I did not want them feeling the cramps.

"Ah, thank you, big sis." Both of them said to me, still half-asleep.

'Oh, the rare moments!' I took out my camera from my bag. 'I should have not lost the moment when they were sleeping. Damn, they're soo cute~.' I took the picture of them yawning cutely.

The snapping sound from my camera made my brothers startled. Lulu looked at me while Lucy went to doze off, ignoring the sounds just now.

"Did you take a picture?" He said, with a grumpy voice.

I quickly hid the camera in my pocket like a ninja.

"What are you talking about? I don't even have a camera. See?" I said with an innocent face.

He stared at me as I felt as if needles just stabbed me a lot at every part of my body. I sweatdropped.

"Maybe it's my imagination." He shrugged it off. 'YES! Luckily he's still absentminded.' Before we went out from the car, I made sure that I covered my left flower eye properly. I did not want to make people from outside to be scared of me. I also checked my hoodie. My family waited for me until I was done. My heart was touched by their actions.

My family and I went inside the hotel, checked in to our rooms, sorted out our bags inside our room's closet. My parents was in a different room while we, triplets shared the room. My eyes were sparkling when I found out about that. Although my brothers' reaction is not like mine.

My parents allowed us triplets to play in the hotel area as long as we give them a private time together. I think I know what does that mean so me and surprisingly Lulu as well, grinned.

"Yes~" We happily skipped off, separating ourselves from our parents. We went to the lobby and took a pamphlet about the hotel area from the reception counter.

We were just in a small town called Polignano a Mare which was at the seaside of Italy. It was one of the historic town that is thought to be one of the most important ancient settlements in Puglia and features a maze of houses and narrow alleyways, as well as many panoramic terraces offering views of the Adriatic Sea. Along with its rich history, Polignano is known for being home to world-class cliff diving, and has previously hosted the Red Bull diving competition.

'The more you know~' I thought as Lulu was telling us more about the history of the town.

We sat on a couch to read the pamphlet and discussed where to go. We also got some money from our father to get some food when we're hungry but we were advised to not eat too much because later we will be having dinner together with a senior from our family.

I was not pleased. 'I can guess who it is though. How annoying.' I frowned and snapped out from my displeasure to pay attention to my brothers instead.

"Hey, what do you think about Papa said a private time together~?" I asked to my brothers, planning to tease them.

"It should be THAT." Lulu smirked in reply.

"What do you mean by THAT?" Our dear innocent Lucy asked to both of us. Lulu and I grinned at each other and I nodded.

"Well~" Lulu went to Lucy, whispering something to his ear. After that, Lucy's face went into different shade color of red. It was interesting to look at. Lulu and I put our arms around each other's shoulders, laughing at our youngest brother.

"Do you get it now?" I teased him.

"H-h-how did both of you already learn those kind of things at this age?" He blushed madly. Both of me and Lulu mischievously grinned.

"It. Is. A. Secret." Both of us said at the same time. Well, actually I learn that in my past life after I finished high school but I have no idea on how Lulu knows it.

Afterwards, we went to adventure around the hotel area. We checked out the playground, the swimming pool and other places. We also visited a local bakery to buy some bread to snack on and other shops such as a pottery shop and a toys shop. I took the pictures of my brothers secretly behind their back because I wanted to keep these as memories. I planned to cherish these moments as long and as much as I can.

"Hey." Lulu glanced over through his shoulder, to see me. Lucy follows the suit. "What are you doing?" He asked.

I kept my camera in my pocket. "Hm? Nothing~" I smiled at them.

"Walk fast, or you'll get leave behind."

"Tsundere." I muttered loud enough for him to hear. 'You always say that but you always wait for me. Damn, Baka Tsundere.'

His vein popped and there began another argument session. Lucy sighed and tried to stop the fighting.

Later that night.

We returned back to the hotel after our short adventure time. We went to our room to bathe and change. Our parents told us to change into nicer clothes and come to the dining hall on the 1st floor.

Of course I had bathed first since I am a lady. Then, my brothers took turns to bathe after me while I changed into a dress. 'It's night so I don't have to worry about the sunlight. Yay~!' I twirled in my new dress.

The dress I wore was a black and white stripes short sleeved dress until my knee, a black flower headband, a black flower eye patch; not too tight, white knee socks, black shoes and a bell choker. It had a Gothic Lolita vibe.

After my brothers done bathing, they wore black and white stripes suits. 'They look so cute in formal clothing~~! Kyaa~! They're matching with my clothes~!' I fangirled until I remembered who we were meeting with. 'To be honest, I'm so not looking forward to this.' I scrunched up my face, unhappy.

"What's wrong?" Lucy asked me after fixing Lulu's bowtie.

"It's just that I don't feel like going to the dinner." I said in monotone. Lucy stood beside me, looking worried. "…. But food awaits! We should fill ourselves to the fullest!" I gave out a huge grin to relieve him from his concern.

I did not notice when did Lulu moved out until he called out to us. "C'mon! Let's go!" Lulu waited at the entrance of our room. "Or I'll dump you guys here!"

"Yes, Let's enjoy ourselves with food!" He nodded in agreement. "Now let's hurry and catch up with big bro!" He giggled, holding my hands as we chased after Lulu.

'I guess they don't know who we are meeting with.' I sighed. 'How troubling.'

In the dining hall,

We opened the dining room door once we were in front of it. 'I knew it.' I lowered my head. I wasn't as shocked as my brothers when they saw who was that senior was. We saw our parents. Which was good but we also saw our grandfather. Which was bad.

"Why is he here?" Lulu asked, in low voice tone.

"Why the hell do you ask me?" I whispered back, obviously frowning.

Our Lucy hid behind me and Lulu. He was scared of seeing our grandfather. And hell, I'm the one who supposed to hide from that old man. 'He's too damn scary. It's obviously him, the senior who is joining us for dinner. I mean, Papa usually refers him formally and that's how I had guessed it.'

My grandfather's name is Zeus, and yes, the irony of his name. Like any old man, he has grey hair from his age. Although old, he still has the proud demeanor from being the big boss of a big alchemist family. Grandfather prefers formality and traditions more than anything in the world. I learned about that the hard way when I first met him. 'The bad memories.' I shuddered.

Our lovely mother called us to the table, waving for us to come. The big round table was in the middle of the room, with chairs around it. My parents had reserved the dining hall only our family today.

We, triplets went to the table and sat only after we greeted to our grandfather. My grandfather watched at us triplets intently as we go. He did glare as well. To me, mostly. I struggled to smile. 'Keep smiling~' I awkwardly took my seat.

"You should teach these kids some discipline just like how I once teach you when you were young, Alma." My grandfather said to my father. "They shouldn't have let elders to wait for them." He turned back at us triplets.

"Oh, father, you shouldn't be like that. They're just kids." My father replied with a smile. The old man hmphed. They had already ordered beforehand so the food had already reached our table by the waiters and waitress. We, triplets have to be on our best behaviour everytime we face our scary grandfather. That was what our father had advised us long time ago.

'However, this is a dilemma. I'm already starting to become stiff and sweating bullets from the tension.' I could also see same reaction from my brothers. Maybe they were feeling the same like me.

And so, our family ate in silence. The dining hall appeared bigger and more spacious to me as we all ate. 'Ahh~ I'm bad with these type of situation too.' I thought to myself as I sliced through my steak.

"Anna, why are you wearing that kind of clothes?" My grandfather suddenly asked me with a strict voice. My family all had their eyes on me without moving their heads. Taken off guard, I gulped.

"A-ah, t-that because-" I put down my fork and spoon while I fidgeted in my seat.

"No stuttering." I shuddered. My brothers just looked at their food, deep in thought while my parents looked at me, worriedly.

'Am I going to get scolded just because I wear this? This sucks. Not even freedom of clothings.' I complained in my heart.

"Answer me, Lucianna Alkaev." My grandfather stared at me. It seemed like he was watching at me as if he was a tiger and I was a small prey, a rabbit, perhaps. 'Damn, his demeanor is so menacing. He's even using my full name, which means he's getting impatient. Well, here goes nothing.' I took a long breath before I started talking.

"L-Lucian has a gothic Lolita ladies magazine under his bed so I thought if I wear like this he would like me more!" I shouted, my eyes closed. My voice echoed in the dining room. 'Talk about awkward and slow motion.' My family stayed in silence. My brothers and my parents sweatdropped as they do know it was a lie.

My grandfather observed my movements before continued to eat his food, not letting anyone read his mind. "Well, let's just continue to eat."

'I was ignored. To think my grandfather accepted that excuse and let me off easily. Let's try and avoid any engagement of conversations with him. That way, I won't have to ever answer this stubborn old man questions anymore..'

After dinner.

We sent our grandfather to his driver's car which was a luxurious long sedan car. I gaped with my mouth open in surprise at the car. 'Wow! What a big car! No doubt he is the head of the alchemist's family.'

We later know that he was just stopping by to visit us while he was having business trip in this village earlier in the morning when our parents explained to us. When the car was out of sight, my parents and Lucy laughed out loud. Lulu was so enraged with me that he was trying to choke me.

"Uwah~~ time out~!" I patted his arm.

He was head-locking me. "Why the hell did you tell him that?! Now he thinks me as a pervert!"

"I had no choice~ I couldn't think of anything else!" I pouted. He sulked while crossing his arms.

"That's was funny~!" My father laughed, showing a thumbs up to me. My mother stopped laughing and went to comfort my sulking brother. Lucy followed her but still laughing.

I stretched my body. "That old man is giving me body cramps everytime he comes to visit~~" I complained. My father patted my head.

"He's nice deep inside. You'll get to know him better." He smiled to me. 'Hm, I wonder about that. If possible, I do not want to see him at all.' I thought, shrugging my shoulders.

That night, we went to bed. Our parents returned to their bedroom as bidding us a good night.

"Hey." I called out to Lulu.

"What?"

"Sorry."

"Whatever."

Lucy laughed, remembering what happened during dinner. "Being with big sis and big bro is always interesting~"

"Well good night guys~" They bid me a good night in return. We slept in the same bed. Surprisingly we all fit together in one small bed. Few moments later, I could already hear them snoozing lightly.

As to the question to why I was so scared, freaked out of my grandfather was because he doesn't like us, triplets. Me, mostly because he thought me as a monster due to my left eye the first time we met. He treats me more coldly than my brothers. Not that it mattered because I'm fine by that. As long as my brothers doesn't feel lonely like I did in my past life.

'Maybe grandfather will accept me soon just like with my brother. It would be nice if we're all good. That said, I should push a little more effort with him.' I stared at the ceiling for as long as I can remember until at one point, I fell asleep.

A/N: Hope you enjoyed it! Please leave a review if you like! As usual, next chap will come in the next two days! Have a great day!
