It was barely dusk when Isabella next woke, and for a second she wondered where she was. It took a few moments for her eyes to adjust before she let out a soft sigh and slipped out of bed, her eyes falling upon the note from the previous night. She simply stared towards it for a few moments before she dressed simply in a dark green dress that hugged her curves and ran a brush through the light blonde ringlets that ran down her back. Now that she was here, it was obvious to see the resemblellence that she had with her father, yet she liked to think she looked more like her mother. Eventually deciding that she was ready for anything, Isabella headed out of her chambers, thankful that nobody other than the maids and servants seemed to be awake and made her way down towards the courtyard, her lips pressing into a tight line as she did so. Upon reaching their meeting place, Isabella's eyes flickered around the empty courtyard. "Typical male species." She murmered under her breath she should have known that he would be late; he liked his sleep far too much, but what man didn't?

"I'm not sure whether to take that as a compliment or not, I'm not exactly a 'typical male'." A voice sounded from behind her that made her turn around, rather quick for her liking. Her eyes fell upon him imeediatly and she fought back the urge to roll her eyes at the grin that plastered his face, was he ever serious?

"What do you want, Gwaine?" Isabella asked, her eyes narrowing slightly towards his. He hadn't changed in the slightest over the past few years but she hadn't expected him too, he was far too headstrong for that.

"I never thought I would see you again, I..I.." He started but was soon interupted by a sharp voice.

"Yes well, we all know who was to blame for that." She snapped. "How is she by the way? I haven't seen her around here, which is strange considering the last image of you was with her." She added, seeing the grin on his face instantly drop. "What, you thought that everything was forgotten, like water under the bridge? I'll never forgive you for what you did. Never." She murmered before she turned on her heel and stormed back into the castle. It was only when she was back in her chambers that she suddenly felt a pang of guilt, although she soon shook her head at herself, she hadn't done anything wrong, he was the one that had broken her heart, so why did she feel so

terrible? A knock at the door soon snapped Isabella out of her thoughts and she cleared her throat, almost in an attempt to bat away the bad feelings, and headed to the door, opening it slightly as she did so, after all, this was still a strange place, and she knew a maximum of about four people. A mop of black hair appeared in front of her face, and a grin instantly came to her face. "Morning Merlin, what can I do for?" She asked, noting about the relieved smile that entered his face, apparently rumour of her outburst at dinner had got around a bit. "Arthur sent me to apologise, he has a rather packed day today, but he said that your free to roam the castle, and I wondered if you would like a tour?" He asked brightly, something that made Isabella instantly feel comfortable.
