Hey guys! So here it is how it all started! :) hope you guys all enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers.

"Optimus, we're in position now." I said into the com, watching as more eradicons walked back in and out of the mine.

The com buzzed a few kilks until Optimus replied. "Understood...and be careful old friend." I couldn't stop the small smile that began to spread.

"I'll be safe." I promised and then turned my attention back to the mine. I heard small footsteps approach, and already knew who it was. "How's it looking so far Arcee?"

"Heavily guarded as expected but it's not impossible," she started, crouching down next to me. "Bumblebee found a tunnel a couple of miles from here that should leave us straight inside."

"Perfect, just remember when we come across our objective don't touch it." I said standing up. "I'll take care of it."

Her optics narrowed in confusion, "why? Is it that dangerous?" she asked, brushing off the dirt as she stood beside me.

"I'm not sure yet, all I know is that if what Wheeljack has told me is true, then this 'experiment' that the Decipticons have been formulating, it could react very violently and cause severe damage," I stated, "I don't want to risk your safety."

She rolled her eyes with a soft smile, and then let out a sigh. "Fine only because you know what you are doing." she said beginning walking away, "Just be careful Ratchet." this time is was my turn to let out a sigh.

"Why does everyone keep saying that I'm not that fragile" grumbled, and fumed even more when I heard Arcee laugh. It didn't take long for us to reach out destination, and just as Bumblebee said there was a small tunnel, you never would have noticed it with the foliage hiding the entrance. "I'll go first," I said switching the lights on from my headlights. We made our way quietly through the tunnel, until the tunnel suddenly branched off into multiple directions. On the far right there was a faint purple light, hm I wonder, I thought and took out a radar from one of my compartment units. I turned the dial and watched as the small arrow went haywire and almost immediately shifted into the red zone.

Arcee glanced over "That has to be it let's make this quick-" we both suddenly froze as we heard footsteps approaching from behind. "FragRatchet you go ahead and grab the objective I'll cause a distraction." before I could object she shoved me ahead towards the tunnel, and transformed into her alt form and revved the engine. Immediately the quiet footsteps got louder, I could hear the sound of blasters being shot as Arcee bolt down a random tunnel.

I have to make this quick! I made my to a decent side cavern, there were multiple wires spread across the floor, leading to a glass cylinder, which contained a jagged stone shard with purple glowing glyphs on the side. The container say upon a table in the middle of the room. Behind it there was huge monitor, there was a small graph in the corner that would suddenly shoot up and then drop down. There were words flashing across the screen, only to disappear, they were written in old cybertronian, it had been so long, but I could manage most of the words. I typed a few words into the console, and waited for the results. A few moments later, a image of the relic appeared on the screen.

I quickly took a picture resisting the urge to begin reading. I need to get this back to Optimus-

"Well well look it what we have here, Breaky." a silky voice purred through the cavern. My energon lines ran cold. I turned hoping that I was wrong, the decepticon medic stood with a hand on his hip, the other gripping the shock rod. Next to him stood Breakdown a huge grin on his faceplates.

"Look at that Knockout poor thing's all alone," Breakdown sneered, " Why don't we have a little fun."

Knockout shared the same grin, "I agree, Breaky," he twirled the rod between his fingers, as he began to approach me. "Let's make this last," he snarled and leapt towards me. With a startled gasp, I dodged to the right, just in time. Behind me I could hear, the sound of the console being impaled. "Well frag," the speedster growled under his breath, and began to try and unlodge the staff. I scrambled away making a bolt for the exit, but Breakdown's huge frame blocked the way.

"Oh no you don't!" the brute growled, but before he could strike, there was a loud explosion, behind me. The sound echoed throughout the cave, we both froze, and slowly I turned around. The computer was now smoking and spurts of electricity spewing from the console. Knockout laid sprawled on his back, the front of his chestplate, was completely black the red paint stripped clean. Next to him laid his weapon, the end that was jabbed into computer, still spewing static. The cavern began to rumble, a huge rock almost fell on top of me.

"It's going to collaspe!" I shouted, Knockout stumbled to his pedes, the columns trembled, and we're becoming to crack. "We need to get out of here!" I bolted for the nearest tunnel, but a servo grabbed my arm, and yanked me into their chassis with such brute force I could feel the joint of my arm dislodged from its socket. Just then a pile of rocks collapsed into the tunnel blocking the path.

That could have been me... I thought, looking up. Breakdown was staring at the pile of rumble, his eyes filled with panic as he searched for a new escape. Suddenly he swept me and tossed me under his shoulder.

"Ah- put me down Glitch-brain!" I snarled, banging on his back, it had to affect as he ran, and soon I heard another yelp of surprise.

"Breakdown!" the red con, snarled. Breakdown ignored any more protests, as we went into one of the nearby open tunnels. The leave lights flickered on and off, the rumbling became stronger and stronger. We entered into another small cavern, there was boxes of energon left and littered across the ground. Some of the cases had cracked and was beginning to gush out the previous mineral. The opening that we had just come out down, was now filled with rocks, and from my position I couldn't tell if there was another exit. But something told

Breakdown's EM field was out of control now, there panic, fear, and desperation. "There's no where to go.." his voice was so quiet, slowly he set both of down. Knockout immediately began hurrying around the cave.

"It can't be!" his voice was filled with desperation as he tried to claw some of the rocks from the tunnel. "It can't end like this!"

It was truly a sad sight, seeing a Mech having to face to his approaching death, and there was nothing he could do to change that. I slowly approached the con and placed a servo on his shoulder. "There could be worse ways to ok," I stated, and immediately regretted it.

"Is that seriously your idea of comfort?" he sneered, his EM field was hostile.

"Ok maybe not my best choice of words..." I grumbled and wandered over to the other side. Breakdown took my place and pulled Knockout into a tight embrace. There was another loud rumble, the rock columns began to tremble and crack. I backed away as the nearest pillar collapsed. They fell one by one rocks cascading over us, there was so much dust that I couldn't even see my own servos. Suddenly something struck me over the head, my pain receptors were on fire, I stumbled back holding my helm, as my body began to shut down, and my vision went black.

I woke up to someone gently rubbing my shoulder plates. "Primus.." I groaned, trying to sit up, but the servos kept my down.

"Take it easy tough guy." a silky voice reached my audio receptors, and I began to relax.

"Are we dead yet?" I mumbled, onlining my optics. The cavern was completely destroyed, and the only source of light was from Knockout's headlights. "Where's Breakdown?" I asked.

"Right here," a pained groan answered, I turned and gasped. Breakdown's servos were holding up two of the pilars that had collasped, and no doubt would have brought the rest of the room down with it if it wasn't for him.

I scrambled to my pedes, and began to examine him. "How long have you been like?"

"About 3 hours." Knockout answered for me, "but he won't be able to handle it for much longer..." he put a servo on Breakdown's chest.

I looked away, "There has to be something else we can use." I paced rapidly. Out of the former of my optic I could see something sliver, I walked over and examined it. It was one of the crates that was being used to carry energon. It was dented but still intact. I looked around and found several other cases in the same condition. "Knockout help me move these crates." he turned and gave me a confused looking watching as I struggled to push the crate towards Breakdown.

"Rachet what are you-"

"Knockout shut your mouth and help me!" I snapped, my joints creaking. Knockout grumbled his doorframes on his back flickering, clearly offended.

It took us a good while but eventually we had stacked the crates so they reached past Breakdown's chest plating. From there we required Breakdown's assistance to get the last one past his helm, it wasn't easy but we managed. Then he slowly lowered the rock ceiling onto the crates, they creaked and for a moment it seemed as if they wouldn't hold. But they held steady. Afterwards Breakdown and Knockout retreated to their own side of the cavern, leaving me to my own thoughts. I preceded it that way it was better than having them distract me, I needed to find a way out. It seemed as if several Joors had passed, and I hadn't realized I had slipped into recharge until a servo was shaking me awake.

"W-what?" I mumbled trying to force my systems from retreating back to recharge. Knockout's faceplate were only inches away from mine.

"I think we might have a problem." he stated and then glanced down at my thigh plating. I followed his gaze, my tanks wanting to purge at the sight. There was a deep gash cutting through some of energon fuel lines, it flowed down forming a puddle at my pede. But that wasn't the worse part, along the line of the cut, there was a green ooze that was beginning to overflow.

"Primus..." I whispered, "You wouldn't happen to have anything in your subspace compartments?" my spark felt even heavier when the con shook his helm.

"I have some stuff" I heard Breakdown call, he wandered over pulling out different tools. "I don't know if any of these will help."

Knockout carefully examined each one, "It won't hurt it but we can prevent it from spreading and doing more damage. But it won't be pleasant."

"I figured as much," I clenched my servos, "Just get it over with it." I expected the procedure to be far more painful, but the red con was surprisingly very gentle, and cautious. If I even made one tiny movement he would stop immediately to make sure I was fine. Breakdown stayed close to my side wiping away coolant from my faceplates with a spare rag. It took almost a full cycle for the treatment to be complete, by then my core temperature was running high, my fans working overtime to cool down my systems. "How does it look?" I asked my voice sounding weak even to my own audio receptors.

"It will do...But it doesn't look pretty," Knockout said, and he was right the playing around the wound was dark green, with lighter green almost yellow ooze still seeping from the wound. "All we can do now is keep an optic on it and hope it doesn't get any worse."

I nodded, suddenly feeling very sleepy. "Just rest we'll take care of you." Breakdown murmured, now sitting close enough that our platings now touched. He continued to wipe the coolant from faceplate, I leaned into his touch, and offlined my optics. Soon recharge took over.

I didn't know how long we were stuck in that cavern, but as time passed, the infection didn't grow, but wasn't healing either. I could now waddle around the small room but that was about all I could do, at the same time the twos and I become closer. It was slow, at first but eventually we could hold long conversations that Primus knows how long they lasted. But it made time go by faster, and our bond stronger. I didn't even flinch or move away when our frames touched, whether it was accidental or on purpose was up to debate. Knockout was leaning against me his helm resting on my shoulder pads. Suddenly there was a loud cracking noise, causing both of us to jump to our pedes, and look for the source.

At the top of the crate tower, the first box holding the ceiling was cracking, and beginning to become crushed under the weight. There was another loud noise, and the crate flattened under inch. Breakdown roused from recharge "What the drag is that noise?" he snarled grumlily, then followed our graze, his own yellow optics widening. "Slag..."

"Knockout! Look for a way out. Breakdown hold the ceiling for as long as you can!" I barked, immediately Breakdown lifted his servos, letting out a groan as he the weight beared down on him. Knockout scrambled around clawing at rocks trying to dislodge them, but to no prevail.

Out of the corner of my optics I noticed something glowing bright and blue, I hurried over to inspect. It was a small stream of energon leading to one of the rock likes blocking the exit.

Thank you Primus! I wanted to cry with joy, but there would be time for that later. "Knockout get over here!" I called.

"What is it?" he asked, out of breath.

"Look there's a leakage under these rocks, if we can ignite it that could cause an explosion," I stated, "Its risky but right now it's the only chance we have."

He slowly nodded, "I'll take that chance" and reached over his shoulder for his staff. "Ready when you are."

I rushed over to Breakdown. "Breakdown, Knockout is going to put that energon leak, when I count down to one run as fast as you can and do not stop."

Breakdown nodded, listening intently.

Taking a deep breath. I went back to Knockout, putting a servo on his shoulder pad, and gave it a squeeze. "Three...two...one!"

There's was darkness everywhere, and it was getting harder to breath, I couldn't remember anything after the explosion. I wonder if Breakdown and Knockout made it... I thought absently, my processor suddenly getting foggy. I could hear a noise in the distance but I couldn't register it, I felt someone's servos grab mine and start pulling, the rocks surrounding me fell off me, and suddenly I was blinded by light. Covering my faceplate I stumbled into someone's servos.

"Ratchet you are a genius!" some exclaimed, another set of servos wrapping around my midsection.

I almost signed in relief, and rested my head on Breakdown's chassis, allowing myself to be embraced by two mechs who should have been my enemies, and I knew I should be shoving them off me and returning back to base. But instead I just wanted to remain in their servos a little longer. My comm suddenly heaped softly, sparing static.

"R-zz-Ratchet...com-zz- come in Ratchet!" I lifted my helm, and gently moved their servos.

"It's good to hear your voice again old friend," I smiled softly, as I could hear voice exclaiming with happiness at the sound of his voice.

"Ratchet! I can't believe it your still alive!" I could make our Miko's voice above everyone else's. "Ratchet hurry home!"

My smile grew "I'll be home soon, I promise." then I cut the line, and turned towards Breakdown and Knockout. They stood awkwardly looking at each other then me. I cleared my throat, and made my way back to them. "So..." Frag this was awkward.

I opened my mouth to speak but suddenly Knockout's lips smashed against mine, I could feel my faceplate heat up, and I knew it was redder than Knockout's paint job. He pulled away slowly wearing that cocky smirk, that usually would have made me hate him more...but instead my spark betrayed me and fluttered.

"What the f-frag was that for!? stammered, stumbling away.

Knockout chuckled, licking his lips. "That was a going-away gift,"

I suddenly felt large servos around my midsection, "Until we meet again that is," Breakdown said, planting a huge kiss on my cheek.

I swatted him off "Alright enough!" I backed away, "We all know that we shouldn't be doing this, it's wrong, and if we get caught!..." I trailed off.

They both looked at each other again, sharing the same look. Breakdown was the first to approach me, taking my servo in both hands."Then I guess we shouldn't get caught then,"

"It'll be our little secret Ratchy," Knockout purred, joining Breakdown.

I shouldn't have, but I did it anyway. I squeezed their servos back and nodded. "Our secret."

The end! Ooh who guys have no idea how tired my fingers are from typing up this had not XD hope you all enjoyed it and I apologize in advance if any of this was confusing to you. The next chapter would be up shortly! :)
