Okay...

Dante paced back and forth through his office his hands behind his back as he did.

The demon had decided that the blonde was nothing more than just a dream. He had to be. After all the demon had been dreaming about him since then and it made some sense.

Leon S. Kennedy was a just a dream...

One he really liked and just couldn't let go of for some reason.

Leon groaned and sighed re-wrapping his arm once again. How many more times were these freaks going to take a bite out of him? It seemed like he'd lost count. Sighing the blonde looked over at the small girl sleeping on an old mattress he had found for her. Ashley looked miserable and worn out so the agent decided to let her sleep on a bed tonight. He couldn't help it. One look from that face and he had to give in. Ashley was hard to say no to. Leon was sure she used it on her father to get whatever she wanted.

The agent yawned and sat down on the floor. The dog he rescued, what seemed like weeks ago, lay beside him looking at him almost too aware. It seemed the dog knew when he was thinking half the time. The dog was just...strange... Those eyes were so alert. After the agent yawned the dog whined loudly.

"I need to stay awake..." he told the dog not really knowing why he told him. "I can't sleep.."

The dog nuzzled his leg looking up as if begging him to rest. Leon shook his head and looked down at the dog meeting his eyes. He yawned again.

"You think those eyes will work on me?" he scoffed "They might...I seem to have a weakness for them."

His eyes drifted shut a bit. "I have to stay awake.. ..Gotta keep an eye out..." his voice drifted "Protect Ashley... "

Seconds later the blonde was passed out on the floor snoring softly.

Dante was in a state of bliss. He woke up at a decent time and even killed a couple demons with no human casualties.

The demon hunter had walked back into Devil May Cry humming after that.

Lady shook his head at him. "Someones happy."

He smirked. "Is it obvious?"

She shrugged. "At least you stopped disappearing on us to see your secret lover."

He groaned. Seriously? He had gone a couple days without dreaming of the blonde and then was slowly pushing him to the back of his mind. He had been doing so well. His only mistake was telling Lady and Trish about it. They teased him and called Leon his secret lover. But ya know what? That was okay. Leon was no more than a distant memory and an ongoing joke now. He would soon be forgotten. Or so Dante hoped. Just because Dante had stopped dreaming of the blonde didn't mean he didn't let himself think of him every now and then. It was just little slips. Sometimes he would remember his eyes or his stern expression. Little slips every now and then couldn't hurt could they?

"He isn't real. It was just a dream."

"Awww poor Dante. Did he dump you? Is he not returning your calls?"

"There is no one to call...I don't even know if he has a cellphone." When Lady raised her brow he added, "But he isn't real so it doesn't matter!"

Leon wasn't real;No matter how much Dante wanted him to be.

Leon groaned as he woke slowly. He was laying on something way too soft. He turned his head, his cheek brushing against something that felt like satin. His eyes opened slowly before widening in shock.

He was in a bed...

A big bed with sheets that were way too silky...and tacky? He squinted at the weird blue design on the sheets and shook his head. He could get his degree in interior design later. Right now he had to figure things out. Where the hell was he? He looked around the dark room and found himself even more shocked. The room was extravagant. From the expensive looking rugs to the thick red curtains the place was amazing. The only other amazing thing was how amazingly tacky it was. It seemed liked someone was trying to show off his wealth and his status. Trying too hard if you ask him.

The agent stood slowly looking around. The only sound he could hear was the crackle of the fireplace. He looked over beside him and frowned at another piece of the tacky room. There were statues on the desk. One that stood out to him was a small lion. It's eyes shined a blood red and slowly he found himself reaching out and brushing his fingers across a small Lion statue.

"Do NOT touch things that don't belong to you." A voice sounded from the corner of the room making him jump. He turned and reached for his gun. His heart sank when he found out there was no gun in his holster. The voice went on. "A fool would leave you with your guns." He stated probably seeing the stress on his face.

Leon scowled and looked in the corner. He let his eyes adjust the the darkness. The small light from the fire place let him see the outline of a figure sitting in the corner. "Who are you? How long have you been there?"

The man scoffed. "The nerve. What makes you think you have the right to ask questions?"

Leon glared. "Why the hell wouldn't I?"

The man stood slowly. "Well for starters...this is MY home you decided to fell from the heavens and land in. Secondly-"

"Fell from the heavens?" The agent asked confused.

"Do NOT interrupt me. I've killed men for less, Mortal."

Leon blinked. "Mortal?" he scowled again. "You're not human."

"Exactly. If you'll let me continue." a sigh as if he was losing patience, "You are nothing more than a lowly human. You don't get to ask questions here. As a matter a fact you must answer mine. " The man decided to finally step into the dim lighting and show himself. "Where did you come from?"

Leon looked at the man a moment recognizing the man. "Dante?" He took a step closer and the man took a step back.

"You're one of my brothers pets." He stated. "and not a very bright one. You'd have to be a fool to mistake us for one another."

"Sorry but you're wearing his face. It's kind of hard not to."

"You didn't answer my question. And you're testing my patience."

Leon sighed. "I don't know how I got here. I just...woke up here.."

"No. You fell from the ceiling and landed in my bed."

"And you let me sleep there?"

The man's calm face turned sour. "I did no such thing. I tried to wake you but you wouldn't wake! I thought you were dead until you started breathing."

Leon turned his head looking at this man's features now. Compared to Dante he looked more stern and mean. Dante's eyes looked playful while this man's looked a tad bit ...well mean? He would say murderous and snake like but mean fit it as well. This man stood straight and regal like some kind of prince. Dante slouched and put his hands in his pockets. This man was clearly not Dante. Even his voice was different. How had he not noticed this?

"I have never seen so many weapons hidden on one person." the man said pulling the agent from his thoughts. "That's half the reason you are alive. You were too interesting to kill at first. You fall from the ceiling with guns hidden all over you."

Leon scowled a moment and patted all over himself finding nothing at all, not even the knifes he had hidden. "You bastard! You took everything." he continued to look hoping he missed something.

The man laughed enjoying Leon's panicked state. "Trust me. I got everything. " he smirked. "You have interesting hiding places."

The blonde blushed before he scowled. "I am going to need those weapons back. I can't continue without them. I have to complete my mission and..."his mind suddenly reminded him of a certain missing blonde. "Ashley!" he shouted. The sudden yell startled the man in front of him making him give the agent a bewildered look.

"Ashley?"

"Did a girl fall with me? A small blonde one?"

The man shrugged not knowing or seeming to care. "All that came was you."

Leon scowled and ran to the huge double doors tugging it open with some effort. The man was beside him in an instant. He grabbed his wrist with enough force to cause the agent to wince and pulled it behind his back before pressing his face to the door. "Who said you could leave? I am not done with you."

"Well I'm done with you." he spat. "I have a mission to complete and I need to go now."

"Heading out there without weapons is suicidal. Not that I care but you seem to amuse me."

"Let go. I don't want to hurt you." Leon bit out struggling a bit.

The man laughed loudly at his words. "As if you could."

"I've taken down things three times you size."

"Only an idiot like yourself would think sizes matters. It's all about strength."

"That sounds a bit rehearsed."

The man growled. Literally fucking growled at him and tightened his grip. "You're going to pay for that one."

"And you're going to pay for not doing a more thero check." the man had only a second to register what he meant before Leon pulled out one of his knifes hidden in the bottom of his boot and jabbed it right in the man's knee. The man howled out in pain letting him go and scowled. Leon darted through the door and ran. He snagged his gun sitting on one of the many tables outside the door. At least he had one gun. He ran out the front door and out into the rain. He turned to see if he was being followed only to see the man standing in the door way. The look on his face was murderous and it seemed his knee had already healed.

Just like Dante's shoulder...

So...non-human twins. One evil and one good. Great, he was beginning to think his life was getting dull.

The demon slayer took another bite of his pizza . The day had come to an end and Dante was thrilled to hit the hay and call it a night. More than that actually. He was ecstatic. He'd go to sleep and wake up back where he fell asleep. Not in an alley way or in a smell world following around a blonde with zombie issues. The thought made his frown for some reason. His good mood started to drop.

Trish walked in and held open the door. "Dante. Your dogs back and not looking so hot."

The hunter frowned and walked over to the dog. The beast panted as if out of breath. His fur was matted and cover with blood. Dante frowned looking at him. "This isn't Fido's blood he's covered in."

Trish frowned. "Bad sign Dante. You think he killed the neighbors cat?"

He shook his head. "Way too much blood for that...I think he might have attacked a person."

She blinked. "You think so? He doesn't act like that kind of Dog. It'd be surprised if he harmed someone."

Dante stroked the dogs frowning. "Same here..." he looked at the dog. "What the hell happened to you?"

The dog whined and gave a soft tug to Dante's coat sleeve before turning and limping out the door. He and Trish shared a look before following. They followed the dog for what seemed like an hour. The dog limped out of town and was slowly making it's way to demon infested territory.

Trish sighed. "We better get the dog and turn back..."

Dante nodded. "Fine. We'll follow him a little while longer then grab him."

The dog hobbled down one of the cobblestone alleyways and whined coming to an end. The first thing that surprised Dante were the amount of demon corpses laying about. Each lay strung about in a different position with a perfectly placed bullet hole between their eyes.

"My God..." Trish said just as stunned as he was. "Someone went on a killing spree. You think this person was human?"

Dante shook his head. "I don't know...There's too much blood to even say they're still alive."

The dog whined and dug at the body of one of the corpses. Dante slowly walked over and lifted it up. His eyes opened wide as he saw the blonde of his dreams laying on the cold ground covered in both the demon of the demons and his own. One of those hypnotic blue eyes opened and the agent breath out a breathless "Long time...no see.." before coughing up blood and passing out.

"Leon?" Dante knelt down and pulled the man up checking his pulse. "he's still there but barely." he scooped up the man and looked to Trish. "Come on let's go. We need to get him patched up."

Trish looked at him confused before nodding. "he the guy who did this?"

Dante nodded running with the blonde in his arms. "It wouldn't surprise me if it was him."

She blinked. "you know him?"

He nodded. "Yeah...it's the Zombie killer from my dreams..." he sighed. So much for the agent being a dream.

"Holy shit!" Lady yelled as she looked to the bandaged blonde laying on the couch finally at a peaceful sleep. "I can't believe dream boys real."

The hunter scowled. "I can't either. This means the other world is just as real as him."

Trish nodded. "Which means Zombies are real as well."

Lady smiled. "How fun. Demons are one thing but if there are more beasts like that gray thing we killed in town then count me in. That was fun."

Dante frowned. "And terrible. Ir regenerated and tried to eat people."

Trish frowned in worry now. "You think there's a door open that leads from the two worlds? That would explain him and that thing but it would also cause a panic. What if there's more? What if they start to hurt people? "

Lady blinked. "Yeah...in all the movies Zombies bite people and turn them. What if our people start to get infected?"

Dante shook his head. "If there were more out there infecting people we'd hear about it. Hell I think we'd see if first actually."

Lady shrugged. "I guess it doesn't matter right now." she smiled looking down at Leon now. " This guy kicked some serious ass back there. Did you see all the head shots."

Trish chuckled. "With a little practice on how to fight certain demons he could be good."

Dante hummed in thought. "He's used to aiming for the head. That's the only way to kill those things in his world."

Lady looked at him. "That means you've been in the zombie world...You've killed Zombies!"

He shook his head. "No these were different. He said something about parasites inside people."

Trish frowned and shook her head. "What a world. People becoming monsters."

Dante shrugged. "Is it any worse than this one?"

Leon stirred a bit in his sleep and Dante looked at him worried. "He's in pain." the half breed stated.

Lady patted his shoulder. "Don't worry. Your dream boyfriend will be fine. From the scars on him it looks like he's had worse."

Dante groaned. "He's not my boyfriend!" looking down at the agent he then added. "and he's not a dream..."
