It was a crisp, winter day in the Soul Society; the kind of winter day that leaves you feeling refreshed from breathing in the crisp air, but still cold enough that one still had to bundle up to protect oneself against the cold. Tsuki was currently at her Captain's office door, preparing to enter and hand in her report from the day she went to the Rukongai to make some rounds. Just as she was about to knock, the Door was opened and Rukia emerged from inside.

"Oh, hi Tsuki-chan!" the petite black haired soul reaper greeted with a smile. "I was just about to come looking for you."

The female she was addressing gave her a confused look as she asked, "You were?"

Rukia nodded before continuing, "I visited the World of the Living last week and Urahara told me that he and Yoruichi have plans for some winter fun. He also said that you and your family and friends could join in the fun."

"Sounds interesting and fun." Tsuki stated with curiosity as Rukia moved away from the doorway so she could come in. "When and where will we be meeting up?"

"In front of the Senkaimon at eight in the morning a week from now." Rukia replied with a smile before turning to leave. "I've got to get back to work now. See you later!"

The week went by in a flash, as Tsuki got more and more excited about going to the World of the Living. It had been a long time since she had last seen Ichigo and his friends, and she couldn't wait to spend time with them again. Finally the day had come and she was walking up to the Senkaimon with Takeo and Tsuyayaka following not too far behind. As she came up to the gate, she found that Byakuya, Renji, and Rukia were already there and waiting for them.

"Hey Tsuki-chan!" the petite soul reaper greeted as Tsuki approached. "I see you brought Takeo-kun and Yaya-chan."

"Yeah, Kioku and Natsuki said they would be coming too." The third seated officer of squad six stated in reply.

"I would never turn down an invitation to the World of the Living, Rukia-chan!" Yaya chimed in excitedly with a smile. "Imagine the possibilities for the Tech Department if I brought some ideas for better technology!"

"Yaya-chan…" Takeo stated with a calming voice from beside her. "I don't think that you'll have a chance to do those things because we'll be spending time with everyone."

Yaya paused as she turned to her fiancé and said, "Oh Takeo honey! Why do you have to rain on my parade like that?!"

Takeo paused for a moment with a grimace. He hated to hurt his fiancée in any way, be it emotionally or otherwise. Finally he gave up, saying, "Fine, if you don't end up doing what you planned to do, then we'll go back to the World of the Living so you can."

"Really?" Tsuyayaka asked.

"Really."

"Just the two of us?"

"Of course!"

"You promise?"

"I promise."

"Aww, I love you Takeo honey!"

"I love you too, Yaya-chan."

As the two lovebirds shared an embrace and words of love, Kioku and Natsuki came running up to the group.

"Hey everyone. Sorry we're late." Kioku apologized as he and his sibling came closer. "Natsuki-chan here overslept."

"That's only because I stayed up late helping Captain Unohana!" his younger sister said with a pout as she crossed her arms. "And if I remember correctly, you slept in too Kioku-nii!"

Just as he was about to come up with a come-back, Byakuya suddenly said, "We should probably get going or we'll be late."

Everyone else agreed and soon they were travelling through the Precipice World and found themselves ankle deep in white snow. Standing right in front of his own shop waiting for them was none other than Urahara.

"Welcome everyone!" he said with his usual lazy air about him, as he held his usual fan in front of his chin. "Ichigo and the others are currently having hot refreshments inside. Come in and we'll join them."

Tsuki and the rest of the group trudged through the piled up snow to get to the front door of the shop, her feet getting wet as the cold white ice melted in through her socks. They then shuffled through the store front and into the back where it was warmer. There in a room off to the side was a low table with Ichigo and his friends sitting around it.

Tsuki and the others sat down, and she was thankful for the hot tea after being in the cold with her loose shihakushô, even for a little while. When she had warmed up enough, she took the time to look around the crowded room.

Ichigo was there, along with Chad, Orihime, and Uryû. Yoruichi was also sitting at the table, already chastising Byakuya, much to his misfortune of sitting near her. Tsuki also saw others there that she had not met before, like the towering giant man who had served the tea to them, and two kids – one with red hair, the other with black. The last two were the oddest looking of them all. One was a dark man dressed in flashy clothes and talking to a seemingly annoyed Ichigo. The other was a moving talking stuffed lion, who seemed to enjoy being held and looked at by Tsuyayaka a little too much…

It was at that time that Urahara stood up with a display board and cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.

"Thank you for coming everyone. Now that we're all here, let me go over the schedule of the day." He explained before displaying a map of the area. "We will be travelling to this park, where the festivities will be held. There, we will have a snow sculpture contest and then a snowball fight with a twist. Then we'll head back here for food and refreshment. Any questions?"

"I don't think our shihakushôs will be sufficient enough for the weather outside." Natsuki commented after a moment of silence. "Do you have anything better for us to wear?"

"As a matter of fact, I do. I just finished them yesterday." Urahara stated as if he was waiting for someone to answer that question. "All soul reapers follow me!"

Those wearing black all stood up and followed the man wearing the hat and clogs across the hallway to a room much like the one they were in before. There was no low table, but instead there was a row of carbon copies of them lying on the floor.

"Oh, gigai!" Yaya exclaimed as she walked over to her copy. "I've always wanted to try one out!"

Natsuki and Tsuki, however, were a little apprehensive, seeing as they had never been in a gigai before. Tsuki looked over to her superiors to see them already in their gigai and moving around to get used to them. She also saw that Kioku, Takeo, and Yaya had already proceeded to get into theirs. Finally her eyes met with Rukia's and Tsuki noticed that the petite soul reaper was probably the first to get into her gigai.

She then walked over to the two women and asked, "Are you two okay? Do you need some help?"

"Yes please." Natsuki replied with slight nervousness and Tsuki just nodded sheepishly.

So then Rukia began to instruct the two on how to get into their gigai, and soon enough, they had finally gotten used to their "second skin".

"Whoa, this is kind of weird." Natsuki commented while stretching.

"They feel a tad heavy too." Her brother added.

At that moment, Urahara spoke up, saying, "Don't worry. That won't be a problem later. It'll just take a little getting used to."

"The outfits are so cute though!" Yaya stated happily while striking a pose.

And it was true. All the women were wearing a kind of coat dress with black tights and dark grey boots, and the men were wearing a shorter version of the same coat with dark grey pants and black boots.

"We're all wearing the same color coats." Tsuki commented as she saw that their coats were all an evergreen color.

"Yeah, Renji looks like a Christmas ornament because of it." Takeo added with a snigger while the red headed soul reaper shot a glare at him.

"Okay, okay. Now that you're all settled into your gigai, we'll all head over to the park." Urahara spoke up before they all proceeded to do so.

At the park, which was pretty much a field used for playing local soccer games, fresh snow started to fall, light enough for the group to still go on with their activities. The field was frosted over with snow like icing on a cake, and there were a couple of snowmen there, as if they were waiting for the group to arrive.

"Aww they look like a cute couple." Yaya commented as everyone looked to the lovebirds holding hands. They stayed like that for a few minutes until Urahara called for everyone's attention.

"Okay gather around," he stated as they did so. "Alright then, first we'll start with the snow sculpture contest. Yoruichi, Don Kanonji and I will be the judges." – the dark skinned man in flashy clothes joined them with excitement – "You can work in groups of two or three. Now do your best to dazzle us!"

Immediately Tsuki's friends paired up with each other – Takeo with Yaya, Kioku with Natsuki, Byakuya with Rukia, and Renji went off to pester Ichigo. Looking around, she also saw the two young kids paired with each other, the red haired one bossing the other one around. Chad was with the stuffed lion, and Uryû and Orihime were already hard at work on something.

Gazing at each of her friends, Tsuki felt torn on who to join.

She wanted to help her brother out, but she felt that she would be imposing on his couple time with Yaya. She also felt the same about joining in with Byakuya and Rukia, and it looked like Renji was already into his with Ichigo. The others from the World of the Living looked like they were already starting on theirs.

Finally Natsuki called out to her, getting her attention.

"Why don't you join us, Tsuki-chan?" the blonde asked with a welcoming smile.

Kioku gazed at her with a sheepish smile as he added, "Yeah, we're gonna need another artistic mind, considering that I don't really have one…"

Tsuki gave a smile and a nod before walking over to join the Shimazaki siblings. Together they chose their area to work in and soon they were brainstorming ideas.

"What do you think we should sculpt, Tsuki-chan?" Kioku asked after they had heard Natsuki's idea of sculpting a giant turtle for her to ride on.

The female that the Shimazaki siblings looked to for an answer thought for a moment while gazing around the field. Already some groups had started their sculptures, and even others were close to finishing.

She thought a little more before putting her suggestion out there.

"I think…" she said slowly before continuing her idea with certainty. "We should sculpt something that we're all familiar with. Something that we could all do with confidence."

For a minute, the siblings had mixed emotions of confusion and thought of their faces. Finally, it was as if a light bulb flicked on in Kioku's head and he quickly told Natsuki and Tsuki, to which they immediately agreed. They quickly got to work, dividing it evenly between them, and soon they were done, along with the other groups.

Looking around at the other snow sculptures, she clearly saw that any of them could win (and she also saw who was clearly in charge for some of them), but she had fun, and she had hoped that the two she had worked hard with had fun too.

"Alright, let the judging commence!" Urahara announced as he and the other two judges came up to the closest sculpture, which was Chad's and the stuffed lion's.

With this sculpture, you could clearly tell who was in charge, because it was a bigger version of the lion in a cool pose with a flowing cape tied around its neck. Apparently Chad had silently agreed to do all the hard work while the stuffed lion – she learned his name was Kon – had posed the whole time. The judges mad their comments and came to the next sculpture, which Tsuki didn't even have the words to describe.

To her it appeared to be some kind of experiment that only Captain Kurotsuchi could invent, and then on the top of the invention were robotic versions of the top half of Uryû's and Orihime's bodies. It was certainly very interesting and creative, as expressed by the judges' reactions and comments.

They then passed by what used to be Ichigo's and Renji's sculpture, because it was destroyed by none other than its makers when they were arguing.

Those males definitely had some hot blood in them…

The judges were now gazing at Jinta's and Ururu's – the young kids who lived with Urahara – sculpture. Apparently, Jinta, the red head, had bossed around and picked on Ururu until she had agreed to make Jinta's dream come true in sculpture form. And there it was, his carbon copy in snow, holding what looked to Tsuki was a stick, but was actually called a bat.

Rukia had told Tsuki this one day after she visited the World of the Living. She had also said that baseball, a sport where they used bats, was a popular pastime in Japan.

The next sculpture had made Tsuki and others gasp in surprise.

There beside Yaya was Takeo, incased in a blocky robotic "snow suit" with only his face poking out of the freezing white ice.

"It was a sacrifice I had to make," Yaya explained with a tear in her eye. "For I'm not the best sculptor, so I had to use my fiancé as the skeleton, so to speak."

Takeo didn't say a word, for his teeth were chattering from the cold around him. The judges were speechless for a moment before moving on to the next sculpture – or sculptures.

This was of course because Byakuya and Rukia had worked on separate sculptures of Seaweed Ambassador and Chappy respectively. Seaweed Ambassador was sculpted perfect in every way, just as the captain of squad six had created him, whereas Rukia's sculpture of her favorite bunny soul candy character well…let's just say it was as if the bunny had hopped right out of one of her drawings.

"Um…You do know that you were supposed to sculpt something together, right?" Yoruichi asked with a raised eyebrow.

Byakuya just stood there silently, while Rukia, practically beaming, answered with, "Well, Byakuya had already started on his, and I didn't want to interrupt his sculpting, so I just went ahead and sculpted Chappy."

"Well, this could be counted as one sculpture…" Urahara commented before they moved to the next sculpture.

"Oh my! What an amazing snow sculpture!" Don Kanonji exclaimed with a gasp as he gazed at it with awe. "What is this beautiful place?!"

"It's an exact replica of the Soul Society," Urahara stated in reply with his lopsided grin. "Right down to the buildings and streets."

"Nice work you three." Yoruichi complemented the three beaming artists with a smirk.

After looking at the snowy artworks a second time, the three judges went off to deliberate and choose a winner. After a few minutes, they came back with their decision.

"And the winner of this Snow Sculpture Extravaganza is…" Don Kanonji announced, pausing for effect. "…Uryû and Orihime!"

Tsuki applauded and congratulated the winners, but she felt a little sad that their sculpture that they worked so hard on hadn't won. Still, she had fun, and that's all that mattered. Later, Tsuki helped Yaya break Takeo out of his "snow suit" and soon Tessai – the tall man with the cornrow braids – had come with hot drinks for a break.

Tsuki was expecting some nice hot tea, but what she and the others got instead was a cup of hot brown liquid, smelling an awful lot like chocolate. She wasn't sure of drinking it at first, but she knew that she loved chocolate, so she took a swig. At first it was a little bitter and had a slight spicy kick to it, and then it rounded out to chocolaty sweetness. It was like a little cup of delicious heaven!

When she had finished along with the others, it was finally time for the snowball fight to commence.

"Okay, this time we'll be splitting into two teams." Urahara announced. "Yoruichi and I will be the team captains, and we'll each be wearing these scarves – he held up one black scarf and one white scarf – "If anyone from a team manages to snag a scarf from the opposing team captain, that team wins. You can use any means possible to guard your captain or attack the other team. That includes the use of your shikai or special attacks."

"But there's a catch." Yoruichi added with her cat like grin. "And that is you must use your shikai and special attacks only to fling snowballs, not for personal harm."

Urahara looked to the dark haired woman beside him then and offered, "Ladies first?"

Yoruichi and Urahara then took turns calling people to come be on their team and soon they were done.

On Yoruichi's team was Tsuki, Byakuya, Yaya, Uryû, Natsuki, Kioku, Ururu, and Don Kanonji, and on Urahara's team was Ichigo, Jinta, Takeo, Rukia, Orihime, Renji, Chad, and Kon. As soon as the teams were assembled, they gathered together to go over strategies.

"Okay, Tsuki since your shikai is partly defense; you'll be the shield for the team." Yoruichi said to her team, and Tsuki nodded obediently. "Natsuki…"

"I'll heal anyone who gets hurt so they can continue." The blonde finished her sentence with determination.

Yoruichi smirked. "Good." She said before continuing. "The rest of you are on the offence. Any suggestions or questions?"

"If I may ask," Byakuya spoke up stiffly. "Who will be stealing Urahara's scarf?"

"Knowing Urahara, we might end up on a one on one, so I will be taking his scarf." Yoruichi stated in response before her smirk grew. "But, if you're willing for a small allegiance, I could use your help…"

Byakuya pursed his lips slightly, seeming to regret speaking up. After a few moments he finally replied with, "Very well," and they continued with the plan to take Urahara's scarf.

A little while later the two teams were a few yards away from each other, preparing themselves by making snow barricades and snowballs before the war would commence. When they had finished, Urahara walked up to meet Yoruichi in the middle of the battlefield.

"May the best team win." He said with his hand outstretched to his old friend.

The lithe cat like woman smirked, nodding as she took his hand and shook it.

As soon as the team captains had walked behind their protective walls with their team mates, the snowballs started flying across the empty space to the other team. Tsuki tried her best to add extra protection, but even so some of her team mates were getting whipped, as well as Urahara's team. But Yoruichi and Urahara wasted no time, as they were already clashing, reaching for each other's scarf and missing by centimeters.

Tsuki's gaze then moved to Byakuya. She knew he was supposed to get in there at some point, but he seemed to be waiting for the right moment. Of course she didn't know if anyone from the opposing side was instructed to jump out and take Yoruichi's scarf, but she had to do her best right now, or her team mates would suffer for it. Finally Byakuya made his move, and flash stepped over to the two duking it out. He reached for the scarf, but was grabbed at the wrist.

Byakuya shifted his gaze to see who had stopped him and saw Ichigo with a serious look on his face. This threw both Byakuya and Yoruichi off and she lost her scarf to one of Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka and the snowball fight had finished just as soon as it had begun.

"Yay, we won!" Orihime exclaimed with a wide smile as she received the stolen scarf from one of her small fairy like things.

"That was fun." Yoruichi added with a smirk.

"It wasn't fun that I had to be on a separate team from Takeo!" Yaya stated with a pout that turned quickly to a smile as she hugged the one she loved. "But I'm glad it's over now!"

"Let's head back." Urahara suggested over the chatter. "We've got quite the spread waiting for us."

"Yeah!" everyone exclaimed in agreement before heading down the street back to Urahara's shop, the snow starting up again to cover up the depressions they had made in the snow….

That's the last chapter of Seasons of Bleach, and with that the end of another beautiful fanfic! Despite the fact that there were only four chapters, it was quite a challenge to keep this up and write for my Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Fanfic. But now that this one is over, I can (hopefully) totally focus on it.

Thank you so much for reading this, and I hope you've enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing this. Thank you to Tite Kubo, who has made such wonderful characters and such a wonderful world as Bleach. All credit goes to him for his characters.

Once again thank you for reading and I hope you continue to read and enjoy my fanfics! Merry (early) Christmas!
