"Where's Blake?" Ruby asked, getting up from the ground. Looking for the ninja of the group, expecting her to be nearby.

"We couldn't f-" Weiss began, but was soon cut off by the intercom of the Tower.

"Skirmish Team 'You' (YW) please report to the Vanguard Hall for next mission assignment, thank you." A strict militaristic voice paged over the intercom. Ruby looked over to her teammates, wondering about what a Skirmish Team was.

"We have to go Ruby, but maybe we might see you later?" Weiss suggested, even though she didn't want to go so soon, she still had to report to her superiors.

"Actually," Angel chimed in, "Ruby is also reporting to the Vanguard, she will be able to tag along."

"Then what are we waiting for? We kinda already stalled Ruby on her way there." Yang said, knowing full well that she was the one who stalled Ruby.

The three walked down a set of stairs, heading to the left and back to the center that then stretched into a long hallway, with a table in a room at the end of it. To her left and right were to people, well… on her right was a person, and to her left was a robot with a white and red paint job, along with horns on its head. In Ruby's opinion, the robot looked like a Faunus all because of the horns, yet it had good business; with a small line of guardians. She had expected some form of hatred towards the innocent species to linger, yet that didn't seem to be the case.

They made it to the end of the halway, and at the table was two people and a robot. The one at the for end of the table had no hair and blue skin, wearing gray and red armor.

The robot mentioned earlier was wearing brown pads and a cloak, much to the girl with a reds cloaks delight; with a blue and silver face, highlighted with blue eyes and a yellow mouth.

Finally, the one closest to the hallway, an African American woman with a buzz cut, was wearing purple robes reading a book on the table.

As the three noticed the other three new arrivals, the 'Vanguard' stopped what they were doing and addressed them.

"Good to see you two, and the newest of the risen." The robot said while relaxing his hands on the table.

"Ruby" the human asked, "What is your last name?"

"Rose"

"Well then, , you and your new fireteam are now designated as 'Wire', under the leadership of a more experienced guardian." The blue one said. "Now, I believe introductions are in order. I am Commander Zavala, the Vanguard of the Titans, the Exo right there is Cayde-6 or Cayden; whatever you prefer, and he is the Vanguard of the hunters."

"And I'm Ikora, Vanguard of the Warlocks, if you ever need information about anything here due to memory loss and recently being risen; you come to me." The purple robed Warlock informed.

"Hey hold up, why didn't I get to introduce myself? I'm the best one here anyways." The blue Exo joked. "Anyways, we need to figure out what class you are, but based on the cloak, I'm praying to the Traveler that your a hunter."

"We all are exited, even if we don't show it. It has been six years since there has been a risen guardian, and four years since the fall of Remnant, a plannet we didn't even know of until we had to evacuate it." Zavala explained.

"But for you to join a skirmish team or a fireteam, we need to know your class. There is a Vanguard for each; Titan, Hunter, and Warlock. Now, to find this out we need you to take a test." Ikora told Ruby.

"But tests are haaard." Ruby complained.

"I know kid, I know." Cayde comforted the young girl

"Don't you have like, double the amount of processing power than a normal lifeform does?" Yang teased, knowing that it was true.

"Doesn't mean I have to like em'."

"Anyways," Ikora continued, "We will expand light from our Ghosts, whichever form of light your body is most accustomed to, we will choose your class and move on from there."

After they explained the steps to Ruby, the Rose stepped forward, surrounded by the Vanguards ghosts. All of them ran simulations based on her personality and strategies based off her memory, which would have been a problem if her memory still wasn't intact. After a while, they were able to tell she was swift, agile, fast, and aware. This meant she was going to be in a class all about those tributes.

"She's a hunter," Zavala's ghost called out, "And she will make a great one too."

Cayde threw his hands up while doing a little dance, rejoining the first risen guardian in 6 years, from Remnant no less; turned out to be a hunter.

"Now all we need to do know is figure out your subclass!" Cayde said happily, overly-exited about his newest Hunter, wanting to get along with the process.

"To do this we need to project simulations, in which you will be tested and observed on. To do these you will report to a reserved crucible match between you and a team of projections; you will take this test three times, each with a different subclass." Ikora said

"But before we do that, we also need to have you train with your light. This means not only calling out to it in order to use abilities, but to also revive from the dead, your Ghost can only handle so much pressure." Zavala instructed

"Welp, let's get on with it then; I'm exited about my job for once!" Cause exlaimed.

'A Hunter' the Vanguard thought, it has surely been awhile since they had a risen Hunter, no matter that; they had a new guardian to train.

Like I said last Chapter, once a week, but some might be posted on Fridays and Saturdays, might even be two in a row, but no matter what there will be one once a week until this story has an ending.

Please leave a review (because the more the merrier) telling me if I need to change or keep something.
