I know, I know...I start a lot of my stories involving Susan with her just waking up, however, I feel like it works right?

"Susan…Susan, wake up." A voice said.

"No…..I need sleep." I mumbled.

"Your majesty, it's time for you to get ready." Another voice said.

I turned over childishly and tried to ignore them, stuffing a pillow over my head to block them out.

"We only have a few hours before the wedding, it's time for you to get up right now." "The second voice said, sounding quite stern.

Wedding…..How could I have forgotten it was my wedding day? I peeped an eye open to take in the scene. My room looked normal, all except for a dress hanging over in my closet, ready to go. Nothing looked out of place, perfectly normal, except, today was a day that was going to change my life.

"Come on Su, we only have a little time to get you ready." A very familiar voice said.

I looked up to find my now very tall sister standing over me.

I jumped out of the bed with joy. Lucy was here! In Narnia! On my wedding day! I enveloped her in a hug, fighting the urge to give a rather childish squeal. I quickly regained my composer, but my smile never diminished.

"Lue! How are you here? Are Peter and Edmund here as well?"

Lucy gave a laugh, "We were called here somehow. We weren't sure why at first, but when the magic brought us, it left us right outside of the castle gates. The village people spoke of a wedding today, and as we pieced things together, and realized that it wasn't just any wedding, it was Caspian and your's wedding. As for Edmund and Peter, only Edmund is here and he is very excited to see you. He and I were alone together when we were summoned. I guess Aslan was right when he said that Peter would never come again, nevertheless, he allowed us to come back at least for your wedding." She beamed at me.

My heart sank, I felt sad that Peter wasn't here. Aslan really meant what he said, he would never come back.

I turned to her and smiled. Even though Peter wasn't here, I just wanted to hug Lucy and never ever let go. I was so ecstatic to have her here today of all days. Unfortunately I had to get on with the preparations of the wedding, but their being here posed a bit of a problem.

I turned to Florence, my maid who also happened to be my maid of honor at my wedding as well. I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that Lucy and Edmund would be here today. So I picked the person I had become the closest to.

"What should she wear to the wedding? Do we have any of her old gowns from other balls?"

Florence looked horrified at the thought, "Put my queen in something old? Heaven forbid!" Then she looked rather guilty, "I actually knew that the king and queen might make an appearance, so I have already had their wedding garments made."

I was shocked that she kept something like this from me. I tried to look at her as sternly as I could.

"You know, it's high treason to keep secrets from your queen." I said, trying not to burst out laughing.

She shrugged, "I rather die making you happy, then live breaking my promises by telling you everything I know." She winked at me. "Now let's get you and your sister all dressed up."

It took hours….my hair was brushed within an inch of it's life, and then styled to perfection. However, it looked perfect, curled and pinned, with flowers twirled in for special effect. A small tiara was placed into my hair as well, but it was small and it didn't take center stage as much as the rest of the hairstyle did. My lips and cheeks were colored, but the hardest part was actually getting the dress on, as it had many layers and a corset that needed lacing. Florence immediately went to work, arranging the layers impeccably, and then started in on the long process of lacing the corset.

Since this was a union between a Narnian Queen and a Telmarine King, they wanted a perfect mix of both cultures present at the wedding. This was a wedding for the history books. The two sworn enemies would now have a unified king and queen.

I turned to look at myself in the mirror as Florence continued to lace up my corset. The dress was stunning. The fabric was silky as it perched on the edges of both my shoulders and sloped down my waist. The fabric around the bodice was tucked over one another, giving the look that it was two different pieces of fabric. At the skirt it flared but the fabric continued its wrapped around pattern. In different parts of the fabric, especially around the shoulders, it was embroidered with different flower patterns. The sleeves were lace, curling around my arms and ending at my wrists flaring as well to intricate flower patterns. It was breathtaking. Lucy, who had gone out to put her dress on, had come back in with her gown on and she looked so beautiful and grown up. She was wearing a traditional red gown that had gold embroidered on it, as it had a folded pattern on the bodice and let out into a floor length skirt. One look at her and I started to cry a bit.

"Su? What's wrong.?" Lucy asked.

"You've just grown up so much, and I'm sorry I haven't been there. It's only been 6 months, but I feel like it's been a lifetime." I sobbed

She came over and hugged me.

"It's okay Su, don't mess up your makeup. We took a long time doing it."

I laughed as I wiped my tears away.

"Sorry, I guess I'm a little emotional. It's a big day, I really don't know how to feel right now."

I turned to Florence, "Am I ready?"

She looked at me, her eyes not missing one detail, "You couldn't be more beautiful or ready then you are right now." She smiled at me.

"Alright ladies, I need to get my dress on, but I'll allow you two to catch up a bit."

Lucy and I sat down carefully on my bed and we talked about what was going on presently. She explained the reason Peter wasn't with them was because he went to go live with The Professor, and how recently The Professor had lost a lot of money. That was why Lucy and Edmund weren't staying with them, and so they were now living with Mom and Dad, but it sounds like that was going to change soon. Dad wanted to go to America soon and would need Lucy and Edmund to go live with Uncle Harold and Aunt Alberta.

I listened intently, soaking up every piece of new information, but time was cut short, because before either of us knew it, it was time for the wedding.

My stomach flipped and flopped with nerves. We had decided the wedding would be held outside, near the tree my brothers and sister exited this world it. The original thought was that it would make me feel closer to them somehow. However, now I have all but one here, and my heart couldn't be happier! Lucy left to go and walk down the aisle with one of the Best mans, who happened to be Trumpkin. I could tell that Lucy was delighted. She always had a soft spot for him. I took my place behind the hedge of bushes. I wasn't supposed to be seen by anyone till my appointed time. I stood there alone, flowers in hand trying to calm myself down. I heard the music start and the chatter cease as the procession started. As it came closer and closer to my turn a figure walked out from behind me. I turned and my heart exploded, it was Peter.

"You didn't think you would walk down that aisle alone did you?"

Tears of joy sprang to my eyes as he offered his arm and I took it just as it was time for me to make my grand appearance.

All races alike, Telmarine, Minotaur, Senator, Fawn, and dwarves to name a few stood to look at me, and I couldn't have been happier! I looked to what laid before me, and I found what I was looking for. Caspian looked so handsome, all fears melted to the background. I was getting married to this man, and there wasn't anything I rather do. As Peter and I continued to walk down the aisle, I smiled shyly at Caspian, getting closer and closer. Caspian himself look aflame with happiness, never taking his eyes off of me.

We finally made our way to the front, and Peter set my hand in Caspian's.

"You take care of here, otherwise, You'll be hearing from me." Peter said solemnly, and then gave me a smile, as he turned to stand with the other men.

I was glowing, I didn't hear what was said or done, I just stared at my future, and he was staring back at me. When the wine was passed to me to seal our vows I was so happy my hands were shaking, I had to steady them in order to sip it, but once the task was over, it was done, and we were now joined.

The crowed cheered, shouting, "All hail the King and Queen of Telmar and Narnia!"

As we walked together, hand and hand down the aisle, there were a lot of hugs, and back pats, however I was looking for one person, and one person only. Peter, where was Peter?!

The end, she never finds out...Just kidding, I'm splitting this chapter into two since there was so much ground I wanted to cover. Questions that might possibly arise after this chapter, "Thaila! I thought Peter couldn't come back?! Isn't that contradicting what you said in your earlier chapters?" Why yes, yes it does, however, since this is one part out of two parts, the big picture isn't quite painted yet, and in case you haven't noticed, these chapters aren't exactly in chronological order either...so, I would encourage looking at this from different angles and points of views and create your own theories. In chapter one Susan is thinking about her brother not coming back again, but that was after the wedding, it doesn't mean that he couldn't have come back one last time, before he could never be heard from again. OR Peter was a figment of Susan's imagination...just saying. Thank you for reading once again! Thank you for all the feedback, I'm enjoying reading all the ideas I've heard. For those that have been following this story, please go take the poll I just set up, it regards Susan and Caspian's baby's name, I would love the imput! Thank You guys!
