CHAPTER FOUR
ANGEL POV
My senses are correct with her. God, she's so good. The way that she walked, with her hips swinging, made me want to grab her waist and hips, while caressing her neck with my lips. I know she'd moan, because she insisted that she didn't whimper. She'd moan so loudly, and I'd rip-
"So, Fang's on his way home." I announce, grimacing. The thoughts that came from their heads were not something any seven-year-old should ever have to go through. The way he fantasizes about her in bed...ughh. And Max's thought about how 'freaking big' Fang is... They make me want to shoot myself in the head. God, I have to get out of here.
"Chinese food for everyone!" Gazzy yells.
"I hope he remembered my pot stickers." Iggy mutters.
"I'll get the chopsticks!" Nudge jumps up and down in the air.
"Calm down, calm down." Max says, rolling her eyes. In her head, she adds, 'but he had better have brought the sweet and sour sauce.' I smiled.
It was nice to be able to smile through the thoughts that were swirling around my head.
Prophecies, warnings, troubled thoughts, screaming, they were all killing my head. With the amount of painkillers I had downed in the last twenty four hours, I should probably have been dead by now. And now if it would go away until I figured out what it meant. All I knew was that something horrible was teaming up with the whitecoats, and that we'd need to team up with someone stronger. At least one voice had already stopped screaming in my head: the voice that was telling me that we hadn't met the people who could help us yet. Maybe we had, then, or maybe Fang had while he was getting the food. That was probably it. I'd just have to ask him when he got back.
The only problem was that I'd have to ask him alone.
See, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Total didn't know. And I want sure I would tell them until something actually happened concerning the issue. They just didn't need to know, and it would only freak them out. And yes, I do know how weird this sounds, coming from an eight year old. The front door opens.
"FOOD!" Total crows, flapping his tiny wings and streaming toward Fang. Akila pads softly after him, barking in approval. Fang laughs and puts the large bags of Chinese food on the counter. Max strides up to him and kisses him, in front of everyone and all. Something weird was going on...
Fang looks a bit surprised but responds quickly, his right hand tracing the line of her wing's indent on her back. Max whimpers. Iggy groans.
"Is what I think happening happening?" He asks, annoyed. Nudge squealed, confirming it.
Friggin jerks. Excersicing privileges that no one else has. So not fair. Iggy wasn't happy about Max and Fang's relationship from the beginning. Yeah, he supported it, but he didn't feel like it was fair that he was the same age as them but couldn't feel the same way. At least Dylan was gone; he really pissed Iggy off. Well, he really pissed all of us off, what with his making moves on Max, his going crazy on Fang, and his destroying the city. But he was gone for good, and wouldn't be coming back to bother us again.
Right?
Right?
(A/N: This chapter is sooooooo bad. I am so so super sorry about it. My creativity sprouted wings and flew away with the flock. Next chapter will have some Dean and Iggy partner action; I promise.)
(Other author's note: I know that this chapter freaked out and went all crazy techno-babble on me earlier, so I'm super sorry if you can't read it. I'm trying to fix it. Sorry, loverlies!)
