Back in Royal Woods, Lincoln Loud was walking home from the comic book store with his best friend Clyde McBride, as in their hands was the new issue of Ace Savvy.

"Man, this story arch of Ace Savvy keeps getting better and better!" Clyde said. "It's always so cool seeing Ace be a part of a team of heroes from the other comics!"

"I really hope that new Ace Savvy movie comes out soon." Lincoln said. "It could probably become the greatest superhero movie ever!"

"Yeah, and I heard if the movie makes back double its budget, they plan on doing spin-off movies, and a whole cinematic universe around Ace and his comrades!" Clyde said.

"As a vivid reader of Ace Savvy, I can proudly admit, he has perhaps one of the most awesome worlds ever drawn on paper." Lincoln said to the reader. "Just imagine that, being a part of a team of other superheroes, either a friend, or foe. Sometimes, I wish that dream was a reality." At that moment, Lincoln and Clyde collided into a man about their size, who dropped a bag of powertools.

"Sorry about that, mister!" Lincoln said.

"Just watch where you're heading next time, children!" Calamitous responded, rubbing his head and getting up from the ground.

"We'll get that for you!" Clyde said, helping pick up Calamitous tools.

"Why, um…thanks, children." Calamitous said. Despite being an evil genius, Calamitous still appreciated a little bit of gratitude towards him.

"Those are a lot of tools on you!" Clyde said. "You sure you don't need any help?"

"Actually, I do need…I mean, no thank you!" Calamitous responded. "It's for a…secret project! Just don't tell your mommies and daddies about it, or I'll have to vaporize you!" Calamitous laughed at this, along with Clyde.

"Children! So easy to deceive! Now those idiots will never know what'll strike them!" Calamitous said to himself, as he gave an evil laugh.

"Um, mister, we can still hear you!" Lincoln said, as Calamitous looked embarrassed.

"Oh, um…I was practicing for a part! About um…an evil scientist who hates children! Convinicing isn't it?"

"Okay?" Lincoln responded, as Calamitous carried on walking saying "Phew! I need to stop spewing my plans out loud!" Calamitous took out a small piece of paper. "Adding that to the list!"

"Clyde, I'm really starting to get suspicious of this guy!" Lincoln said. "He kind of reminds me of one of Ace's old villains from the 60s."

"Normally, I would tell you to never judge a book by it's cover, but this time, I'm with you Link!" Clyde said. "You know what this means?"

"Time to investigate…CLINCOLN MCCLOUD STYLE!" they both said at the same time.

So the two friends decided to follow Professor Calamitous, while managing to stay out of sight from him. Eventually, he had to take a bus (much to his dismay), and to follow, the two kids got a ride from Scoots, of course with a bribe.

"Go after that hunky man!" she said after arriving where the bus dropped off Calamitous. As she drove off.

"The woods?" Clyde asked.

"Of course, that's a perfect place for a secret hideout!" Lincoln said, as the two went into the woods.

"If only I had my blasted Calami-Bot suit!" he scolded himself. "That would've spared me that disgusting trip on that filth-ridden bus!" Calamitous finally arrived at his destination: in front of an oak tree. Out popped out an eye scanner, and after that said scan, the front of the tree opened up like a door, as Calamitous gave his evil laugh down the stairs. At that spot, Lincoln and Clyde popped their head out of the nearby bush.

"This one's on me, Link!" Clyde said, holding up a pebble. As the door started to close, Clyde threw the rock at the door, luckily landing in the middle of the door and it's left edge, popping the door right back open.

"Whoa, Clyde! That was one lucky shot!" Lincoln said.

"As my dads taught me, timing is the key!" Clyde responded, as the two walked inside the tree. Inside it was a small room with a mini elevator, which took the two of them down to the lab. The second the doors opened, the two jumped out, and hid behind giant metal crates that read "CONVENIENCE CRATES CO.". The two stuck their heads out to see what was outside their area. In front of them was a machine shaped like a gyroscope, with four little round vehicles in them. Calamitous was busy polishing the machine while humming a tune.

"What is that thing?" Clyde asked.

"I don't know, but it looks like some crazy thing Lisa would build." Lincoln said.

"Can't wait to give you another try, my sweet little darling! My beautiful doomsday machine!" Calamitous said to the machine. "Luckily, I've found substitute power sources for you, so you won't have to worry about any blasted sea creatures unplugging you!"

"Doomsday machine?" Lincoln asked. "So he is an evil scientist, which means…this is like an Ace Savvy comic! Sweet! But not sweet!"

"We have to get out of here!" Clyde said. "And tell someone about this! Like your sisters, or our good old friend, the police." Clyde said.

"No cop will ever believe us about this." Lincoln said.

"What about your sisters? They'd have to believe you!" Clyde said.

"Maybe Lisa would, but I'm not sure about…" Suddenly, a shadow hovered over the two boys. "the rest of them?" Lincoln said. The shadow was none other than Beautiful Gorgeous.

"Say, what are a couple of adorable boys like you doing here?" BG said in her serenading voice. Of course, typical of their age, Lincoln was love struck by her, with Clyde doing the same, until he snapped out of it. "Sorry, Ms., this room of hunkiness has been taken!" Clyde responded, pointing to himself as he pulled out a picture of Lori, which was really a screenshot from one of Lisa's surveillance cameras. This made BG give a somehow creeped out look.

"You young boys are always so fascinating. Now let's finish business." BG asked, as she kicked the two boys away from the crates, popping them into Calamitous' view, which startled Calamitous, as he turned around.

"You boys again?" Calamitous asked. "I knew I should've installed that extra security to this base! The fact that even children can infiltrate my lab is just pathetic!"

"Not as pathetic as you calling that crazy ferris wheel of yours darling." BG said.

"Quiet you!"

"We know what you're up to, you evil-doer!" Clyde said.

"No you don't!" Calamitous said. "Um, this isn't…what it looks like! This is that…not evil machine I told you about! It's actually a good machine, as it um…, does something peaceful for the world, like um…gets rid of litter!"

"We heard you calling that a doomsday machine!"

"Oh, that's just it's nickname! Named after my great uncle, Doomsday Calamitous!" Calamitous' eyes widened at that remark. "Wow, I need to work on improvising."

"We're not stupid you know! We know what this is all about!" Lincoln said.

"Why couldn't you be like Neutron's small-brained allies?" Calamitous asked. "Oh well, I guess you boys have caught on!" Calamitous walked towards a lever and pulled it, dropping a cage on the two.

"Why are you doing this? What did our world ever do to you?" Clyde asked.

"I'm not doing this out of revenge, child." Calamitous said. "For I, Professor Finbarr Calamitous, has chosen to hide in your world, to stay incognito from my dreaded arch enemy, Jimmy Neutron, and to avoid any sort of resistance from whatever supernatural heroes lurked out there."

"You're not getting away with this!" Lincoln said. Calamitous laughed in responded. "And it appears you've proved my point." Calamitous walked towards Lincoln. "Oh no, I am very intimidated by such a weak, powerless little boy! I hope he doesn't tell his mommy on me! Oh boo hoo!" At that moment, Lincoln kicked Calamtious in the shin, from the bars, causing him to jump on one of his tiny legs in pain. Lincoln smirked at this.

"You should learn how to keep your distance, Clam, or whatever your name is!" Lincoln said.

"It's Calamitous, and both that, and your very unneeded and rude kick to my leg, just costed you your life!" Calamitous pulled another lever, moving the floor. Now the cage was many feet away from lava.

"Whoa!" Clyde said.

"You can't dip us in lava! We're just kids, with families!" Lincoln said. "And this would really hurt!"

"We've got schools to attend, and bright futures ahead of us!" Clyde said.

"When this is over, there will be no bright futures for your world, my world, nor the other worlds that lurk out there!"

"What are you talking about?" Lincoln asked, confused.

"Perhaps I'm stalling your demises." Calamitous said, as he pressed a button, as the cage started to drop.

"Well, I'd never thought it would end this way!" Lincoln said. "This is going to be the most painful five seconds of my life!"

"I can't go!" Clyde said, looking to the sky. "I haven't graduated middle school, nor did I marry Lori yet!"

"If only my sisters were here!" Lincoln said. "Just somebody has to save us!" Calamitous gave an evil laugh, all while BG stood by him watching the whole thing.

However, a hole blasted through the roof, sending large pieces of debris flying. One of them struck the cage, sending the boys flying and screaming to the edge of the room. The cage broke open, and the boys were free.

"What the devil?!" Calamitous asked.

"He answered!" Clyde said, with tears in his eyes.

"What was that?!" Lincoln said, looking to where the crash was. Slamming on the ground was XJ9, AKA Jenny, the blue mechanical robot with her jets from her ears. By her was El Tigre, using his stretching claws to land on the ground, and Zim landing on the ground with his PAK. Yet, GIR decided to make his own landing, except he ended up landing in the lava. The android started howling as he bounced on the lava and onto the floor. "TA-DA!" he said. Despite that moment of stupidity, the two boys eyes sparkled, as to them, it felt like they died and went to Heaven.

TO BE CONTINUED...

Yeah, I'm really preferring this reason to why Lincoln's in the story, rather than the droid.
